maybe the IMF CAN get on the US food stamp program. hell we could throw in a welfare check or two. oh forgot we're broke cause of that. my bad.

Germany is only part of the sum. There is no DEPRESSION!!

Only the begining of a new cycle.....and a mother of a cycle at that.

I think ghostrider was being facetious. If the U.S. stopped its six wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Yemen and Somalia, there should be a lot of savings. Put a 1% tax on all Wall Street transactions and raise the social security tax to whatever anyone makes (and keep that money in social security) and everything should stabilize. Heck, we should cut out a bunch of government agencies like the FDA, USDA, Dept. of Energy, Heitmat Sicherheit Dienst, Dept. of Education, Dept. of Housing (sell all housing projects to the occupants as condos), Dept. of Transportation and many, many more.
