Police couldn't find a boat? I wonder how the people on the island even got there in the first place... Police has helicopters, Norway has a giant coastline, so if you believe that story, I've got a bridge to sell you.

Just like there were no fighter jets on 911 to take down the kidnapped planes (if there even were those kidnapped planes in the first place - side issue).
