I've been researching Bala Lake in Wales in connection to the Arthur/Merlin story and came across an odd case back in March.
Short version. A guy was arrested in a pub in Bala carrying a 5 inch knife. He went to court and was given a curfew except during the four nights of the full moon, as his defense was that he is a Wiccan Warlock and only used the knife for rituals.

Bala has been called the Satanic Capital of Wales and I thought Warlocks were dark semi-demons? Are there any Wiccans in here that can shed some light on the use of the title Warlock?
As for the Arthur thing, it's my opinion that Bala is the most likely candidate for the Lady in the Lake's lake. It is the source of the river Dee which flows down through Wales and Cheshire before meeting the Irish Sea at The Wirral which has a strong claim for being the original location for Merlin.
