Man oh man this is so maddening or I'm just losing it one. Last week I had posted about dealing with people at work. The roll of dimes deal. Now tonight I got 2 managers at work and I'm a checker and every night I make sure we have trash bags and sacks up front. Well I do follow the rule of treating others as I would myself....The other checkers left nothing the night before when I was off which I can deal with.... Now I get on the intercom and say"we need trash bags and sacks brought to the front please" well the main manager comes up there and tells me not to say that again and not to put our business out there like that again....Will I had enough and I told him in a cool way what he said to me was petty. I made the point if the other checkers had done their job then I wouldn't have said it and I only said because we needed the bags. I also told him the roll of dimes deal was very petty. He laughed and pretty much agreed but he backed his night manager which I respect. I mean I know I keep the front end straight and I know my money pan comes up balanced but this chezzy stuff just blows me away. You know I'm not try to be a :baby: at work but this stuff is down right goofy. Do people ever say"good job" ? No, but open a roll of dimes or ask for trash bags and you just might get scolded........:crazy:
