Four female Israeli soldiers have abandoned their posts due to unbearable working conditions after they regularly complained to their superiors about their predicament.
According to an Israeli military statement, prosecution charges will be pressed against the four soldiers for overstepping authority “to the point of putting security at risk, failing to follow orders and destroying property.”
The statement further said that the four soldiers shut down the surveillance systems, which are of great importance for the Israeli army, and left their posts several times in the past months, Ynet reported on Tuesday.
The soldiers had frequently informed their commanders about the harsh and unbearable working conditions.
Meanwhile, a representative of the soldiers has filed a complaint to the military authorities about the insupportable conditions of the lookouts, asking for a prompt consideration.
