Hi Guys - look, forgive me, I have only been on this site a short while, but I am picking up an unsavoury vibe.

It seems some people want to be first to post new stuff and consequently think their voice is more important than others. In other cases I see people on here that have a dismissive arrogance when posting - this seems an unfortunate trait amongst those interested in this subject and I for one am disappointed.

There is a weird possessiveness when it coms to this information - why is this? - I am concerned that the very chrysalis of disclosure will be compromised by those who wish to own it.

Am I wrong, or do people see it too?

Concerned.

Knowledge is power, power is a disease, freedom knows no knowledge - BORDERSCOUT.

Hello Borderscout,m you are too perceptive and honest ;) For some people the 'game' in in the chase, the catch, the latest dama, novelty and propaganda scoop. I sometimes wonder how important the source or validity is ... Now that may sound somewhat critical, but you must realise we have a lot of people posting here and a lot of different motives for what goes down.

Remember, much of what happens here is driven by citizen journalism that is not always very accurate. It maybe even intended as disinformation and propaganda, as no-one can really set up an effective clearing house for forum membership.

This forum is not for the faint hearted or sensitive person who finds it difficult to select and filter what they read, what they beleive and what they want to respond to. It's treasure and trash and it's up to you to pick your way. You will find however that there are many sincere and loving people here that genuinly want to further the awareness and evolution of the human soul.

Thanks 11's 'the game' seems to be an unfortunate bi-product of the quest. The quest, i hope, is the majority.

There are many members on this forum with different styles and different tastes :)

I've found some great people here and made some good friends (as good as you can over the Internet).

Give it more time, look for like minded people, and don't be bothered so much by those that don't match your style and I'm sure you'll have a great time here too ;)

IMO there is very easy solution.....leave the forum. I am not trying to be a smart ass. I am just saying, its that easy. There are so many forums on the web. I would bet, that most of us on here have been on other forums here and there and have moved on to others because of the "vibe" there. I myself, have been on many forums and left. I still frequent some..even if I dont like them much....just nosy I guess..IDK. I hope those that dont get a good feeling here, find what they resonate with....good luck

ps. remember........we are on the same team.....right?

Thanks Ilie; although I would say 'my style' as you curiously phrase it, is the truth (what other styles are there?); and if one should deviate from that I would frown upon it.

Hi Ilie, I fully agree with you.

So, why is there so much "editing" and "deleting" done by the moderators lately (eg. the Biblical Archeology Thread)
We are grown-ups and very well capable to decide what to digest or not.

We are just human. Some have more problems to control their emotions than others.
Maybe they are just less programmed.

Please watch over our freedom of speech.

Thank you, Ilie,
This forum is wonderful. It's great for sharing a whole plethora of ideas, opinions, techniques, and whatever else comes up. I've noticed that there has been conflict in some of the posts, but also there's been alot of shared compassion. In a way, this forum heals us. No one knows what kind of benefit someone is getting with what's being said. It may be just the right thing for them to hear....

Thanks jsb, but I am beginning to suspect that there is an inherent dark shadow that hovers over many of those of who use these forums. I don't think its hanging over me yet - but my suspicion is that certain posters are attempting to influence others through the power of suggestion or semantic influencing.

Compared to so many forums, which are full of all kinds of argumentative, disrespectful and rude comments, this forum is a great one, thanks to the Mods and to the great material that Bill Ryan and Kerry Cassidy have made available over the years from the great whistleblowers and other sources who have gravitated to them. Because of their commitment and the quality of information they have provided, and the standards set, the membership has also been a source of good information and dialogue.
There are always exceptions, of course...
I have been following these two sites for quite a few years, some before I actually became a member, and I have witnessed many changes. particularly to PA. Members come and go, and the energy and focus changes a lot. Sometimes there is so much new and interesting info posted there isn't nearly enough time to read it all. Other times, such as now, there is a lull, and just not very much going on. If you stick around long enough, or leave for awhile and then come back, most likely it will be a whole different scene before too long.

Very true, it does take patience and time to get used to this. I remember such a time when I was in similar position, but Loveandgratitude and Darla comforted me, I love the power of women, so tender, warm and strong. I thank them for that.

A few of us are aware of the bad manners.
Sure we have people from all sort of backgrounds, age groups, conceits, even infiltrators, but rest assured Lord Sidious is watching all, and he is not as forgiving as those, few of us.

If there is a dark shadow on some of us, then rest assured it's hovering over all of us, the entire Human population, it's called TPTB, their deities and magic. The only difference is how to deal with it? Try love and compassion. Search inside your feelings, and you'll know this to be true.

someone may post something that you disagree with.
then you have a voice.(pending censorship)...in joke...
but i would not agree with post leaving a bad taste.
if you don,t like something ...leave it.
or open your mind to other peoples opinions.
you never know ,your perpective on things may change.
so i would say no to bad taste.
and yes to listening, having a opinion, and learning from others.
although i do agree that more often than not, things can get really frustrating.as in who or what to believe.
at the end of the day it,s your chioce;)

Look, one cannot quote an example - on reading a post one simply knows - hence the term vibe. Some people can judge a vibe and some cant - perhaps it's because I am new; but there are a lot of posts which clearly illustrate serious levels of aggression and negativity albeit through very clever phraseology. Whether the perpetrators of said commentary are 'aware' of the vibe they permeate, I do not know.

The food was not to our liking. I had fish. I sent it back, it wasn't to my taste. They said it was as described on the menu, I said it wasn't. He said, "perhaps it's best if we forget the bill and you choose another restaurant". We didn't, the food was good, the problem was perception, so we found something else off the menu. ok borderscout let me tell YOU some thing.
to tell someone that they are ugly is a reflection of self.
it is your inner fear.
for me i perceieve things differently.
someone may be scarred, have a disability, something out of the norm.
now i use norm as a word that we have been brought up with in our conditioning and education.
but to see bueaty you have to see beyound the physical, the inner person.
it does not matter what one looks like.
what matters is that you see beyound that.

i hope this make sense to you.if not .it will do one day i have no doubt...

I say close the thread. OP doesnt give any examples. I dont think anyone knows his view on things and borderscout hasnt shared anything on his beliefs. Which leads to him nor anyone for that matter to be constructive or positive. It's all negative or borderline to it.

No one is going to outright believe what someone else says 100%. If it resonates with you on what someone else says, that's fine, mingle it in with what you think and it might resonate even more with yourself then what your originally thought as true.

We are all learning. we all chance what we belief cause of new info that you discover yourself or from someone else, especially when it resonates strongly with this new info you get.

I say close the thread. The sooner the better.

ok borderscout let me tell YOU some thing.
to tell someone that they are ugly is a reflection of self.
it is your inner fear.
for me i perceieve things differently.
someone may be scarred, have a disability, something out of the norm.
now i use norm as a word that we have been brought up with in our conditioning and education.
but to see bueaty you have to see beyound the physical, the inner person.
it does not matter what one looks like.
what matters is that you see beyound that.

i hope this make sense to you.if not .it will do one day i have no doubt...

wooo there, i was being sarcastic -because the guy in the photo is obviously fairly good looking, and wears a white shirt. sorry UK humour..???

Yeah - this comment is why you are in my 'not nice person' list. - Might be worth thinking about it for your personal circumstances?

Hi Guys - look, forgive me, I have only been on this site a short while, but I am picking up an unsavoury vibe.[...]

That's the opposite of what I felt when I came here, which is why I chose to register. There's a calm here you don't get elsewhere. Some of the posters we have here are far better than anywhere else I've seen. You have the masters of the cryptic message, Sid and Rocky. Pie'n'eal sharing his personal experiences of Buddhism, Ulli sharing her gift with astrology, The One, Omni, Darla and Viking with their continuing adventures in Alien World, Bryn, Lochnivar and Lancelot with their Brythonic explorations and LetThereBeLight and LoveAndGratitude who lead to me learning about Vedic cultures which has really improved my life. Plus all the others who's questions and challenges keep them and everyone going.

However, there is also a contingent of fear porn masters slowly trying to take over. Y'know when it's late at night and you find a good thread going then the next morning it's vanished because the latest posts have been carpet bombed with crap?

You know who I'm talking about because you all saw me getting told off for naming one of them and providing evidence of what they were doing. They want to drag Avalon down to the levels of the other fear porn based forums which I don't need to name. I consider it forum terraforming. TerraForuming? If they take over you'll get google ads, subcriptions costs to get a weekly rant by some derranged nut and the demonisation of anyone that isn't a member of the cult.

I see it as connected to the recent problems and attacks on Avalon and Bill. Incase you've all forgotten who I think is behind it, no, not tptb, I think it's the corrupt 'truth mafia' who pretend to be gurus on youtube and in their books but whom, behind the scenes, are shills, chancers and parasites. They control the alternative/truth community not tptb. Tptb could wipe us out in a second if they wanted but they don't need to because we're being lead by wolves in sheeps clothing that walk among us and do their job for the glorification and dark application of psychic vampyrism. Which, in its true form, is a type of healing. That, however, is going off topic. =]

What is precious must always be protected and I'm not seeing much protection going on, just passive acceptance. That is my only complaint here.

There are many members on this forum with different styles and different tastes :)

I've found some great people here and made some good friends (as good as you can over the Internet).

Give it more time, look for like minded people, and don't be bothered so much by those that don't match your style and I'm sure you'll have a great time here too ;)
here here well said my friend...

Good thing I dont listen very well to others, specially when it comes to others trying to tell me how I should run my life.

I'm sorry you live in such a dark place and are so negative and close minded to everything on this website. I pray you have a better day and that you get a glimpse from somewhere. Good luck.

Nothing has been censored on this thread. Ilie posted once, early in the thread, encouraging Borderscout to find material and people here who are to his liking. I posted later on, announcing I'd be closing the thread unless it showed signs of a more productive future.

My dear Anno, many Avalonians are doing their best to be active, through thought speech and action, in the immediate and surrounding community, what else do you want us to do? after all, change is done through raising your own vibrations and not waiting until others do it first, as for those pirates you speak of, they maybe able to hide their identity, mind you, for a very short time, but they can't mess with the vibrations, that is something genuine, and eventually one can tell who is who.

Thanks jsb, but I am beginning to suspect that there is an inherent dark shadow that hovers over many of those of who use these forums. I don't think its hanging over me yet - but my suspicion is that certain posters are attempting to influence others through the power of suggestion or semantic influencing.

Such as?

Stan

The dark shadow you may sense is the collective shadow of all humanity. For those doing their homework, we're aware its pretty huge right now. It wants to be acknowledged, honored, accepted and then healed, released, enlightened and forgiven. There are many techniques to do this. There is also the personal shadow. We all have one. Depending on how much shadow work one has done will show in the way people communicate, espeically with the typewritten word, which is a delicate craft that to the discerning eye, reveals much. If you don't think a shadow is hanging over you, you might start to look at that. Because I GUARANTEE its looking at you saying, "look at me, look at me!" A great film called "the Shadow Effect" can help with the beginning phases of this journey. Its not just Avalon and its not just you, its humanity and all its individual expressions of such on Earth at this time. Just look at the eclipse series we just went through Lunar, Solar, Lunar eclipses all in June of 2011. If you are picking up on the shadow presence, you are right in line with awareness of the energies of Now. Time to get busy clearing. Avalon is a lovely place to practice that. Welcome.

This thread is hereby closed, as per my announcement an hour ago, earlier in the thread.

Our new member Borderscout has been sent on a short vacation, for insulting others and other negative behavior without redeeming balance. On his return, may he find material and people here that are more to his liking, and more productive ways to contribute to this forum.
