Many people know this but never hurts to remind, specially because of how widespread this Yaz and yasmin pill is, this isn't the article i was looking for but mentions quite a bit to. This article doesn't mention it but at least 1000 women have died because of this pills side effects since 2002, other side effect:

Uterine (endometrial) cancer
Ovarian cancer
Vaginal bleeding
Stroke
Dementia
Blood clots
DVT
Heart disease
Breast cancer

As for alternative methods to prevent getting pregnant using less worrisome ways, Wild carrot (Queen anne's lace) is mentioned in many places, this article mentions what works if you want to have kids and if you don't want to have kids. A simple one that could work both ways is

Turn down the heat. Sperm are ever so delicate. They are easily killed by heat. Keep those baby makers cool: no hot tubs, hot baths, tight pants, or tight underwear. Conversely, if you don't want to get pregnant, enjoy a hot (!!) tub every night for six weeks with your sweetheart and he'll be "shooting blanks" for 3-6 months.

hope this is off use to someone somewhere!

do you? really?well if you read the article you will see it was talking about wild carrots actually, regardless of what i quoted. People have used it for centuries.

wild yams is the other thing mentioned, and may be rubbish to you, but it is what the chemicals of the first contraceptives were derived from.

of course a man wearing protection is always recommended, even though that like everything else that is a contraceptive is not 100% secure.

anyway after seeing and reading all what that Yaz and Yasmin does, i don't think anyone that cares about the women in their lives, would go without letting them know about it.
