"Thousands of demonstrators have taken to the streets in seven cities across Israel, and their social slogans are rapidly being replaced by the calls for the government to step down. The biggest rally is underway in Tel Aviv with around 150,000 people having gathered at the "Tahrir Square of Israel." Police have arrested several activists who were blocking roads in the centre of Tel Aviv, calling for Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu to quit over government policies."

Ofra says let's talk music, not war.

What is it that these protesters exactly want?

Part of it is the cost of housing in the nation.
I hope that they can take this all the way and turn the nation over into the hands of the good people there.
No more tyrants.

And we know Ofra would have been one of the singers involved in the protests, she was a believer in social justice, it is in all her songs.

This is certainly an interesting development, one that should be watched very closely me thinks.
