FYI:
Norwegian terrorist Anders Behring Breivik has demanded that Norway's King Harald V abdicate the throne.
Breivik, who is being held in isolation in a high-security prison for killing 77 people in the recent terror attacks in Norway, said he would only cooperate with the investigators on the condition that King Harald V steps down from power, Euronews reported on Sunday.
The Norwegian terrorist had earlier demanded the resignation of Norway's government and the commander of the Scandinavian country's army.
A top Norwegian police official said the 32-year-old's demands were turned down.
Breivik intended to launch terrorist attacks on other targets as well, but he managed to carry out only two, the police official added.
Norwegian police have, however, refused to confirm a press report that the targets included Norway's Royal Palace and the headquarters of the governing Labor Party.
On July 22, a massive bomb explosion rocked the government headquarters in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, killing eight people and leaving several more injured.
On the same day, sixty nine members of the youth wing of Norway's Labor Party were killed in a shooting spree on Utoeya Island near Oslo.
Islamophobic extremist Breivik has claimed responsibility for both attacks.
Breivik has written in a 1,500-page manifesto that he bought his arsenal of weaponry and explosives for the massacre from a US supplier as well as British traders on e-Bay.
An investigation showed that an essential chemical for the bomb was bought from a British trader for just a few pounds, and that a British tool company sold Breivik equipment which he used to make poison-tipped bullets.
