Said DI:
"Apparently I have 'attacked' and 'threatened' the guy called Charlie Vietch for saying that he would 'deeply regret what he has done'. In fact, I have been one of the few people who has not attacked him.
I was merely saying that he would deeply regret what he did, because he would one day realise that he is monumentally wrong. Change your mind after a few hours in the United States with the BBC, Charlie? You have every right.
The right to be wrong is a fundamental human right because otherwise someone is deciding what is right and wrong. But to do so after such a incredibly short time without weighing the evidence and then talking about the 'truth movement' as a 'cult' because they disagree with you is one of the greatest examples of Orwellian double-think it is possible to imagine.
Abusing committed people who have dedicated their lives to uncovering the truth is okay, but if anyone says anything about the great Charlie Vietch in reply then it is an 'attack'.
If you want to experience 'attacks', oh shrinking violet, you should have been in my shoes for the last 21 years.
The words 'grow up' come to mind.
Poor old Charlie. Anyone got a dummy?:
