Date of sighting: July 30-31, 2011

Location of sighting: Cinisello Balsamo, Italy

Now this is a unique sighting, why you ask? Because it was by a famous UFOlogist of Cinisello Balsamo, Italy. His name is Antonio Urzi and he has recorded many UFOs around the world an gets some of the most clear sightings ever recorded. In Italy he is a bit famous and has been on a few UFO sighting TV shows. Check out what he captured this week.

Once again you decide

Looks like a clear plastic bag floating in the wind to me.

Looks like a plastic bag to me as well. Look at the way it twists and turns as it floats around.

It doesn´t look like a plastic bag. It IS a plastic bag or a plastic wrap, just like those we use for packaging, just like these:

IMHO, the problem with UFOlogists, is that a big part of them become fanatics and start pointing everything floating on the air as UFOs, and this kind of behavior makes every serious UFO researcher an easy target for skeptics and the mainstream media.

I am afraid it looks like a plastic bag to me, too. (Not to mention the fact that there is no horizon or objects to which one could compare the size and speed of the object.)

Yes, that is a very real problem, in my opinion. Which really is a shame because I have no doubt that truly inexplicable sights do occur and have been occurring for a long time. In Italy alone there have been a number of incidents that never were adequately explained. The October 1954 event in Florence (and secondarily in Venice), for example; or the February 2006 sighting in Milan.
