This emotionally compelling photo montage is one segment from the powerful and informative event, Speaking Truth to Power: a permanent state of war, which debuted on April 9, 2011 at the Diana Wortham Theatre in Asheville, NC.
Speakers included Gareth Porter, investigative journalist and historian; Ray McGovern, former Army Intelligence Officer and CIA analyst turned political activist; four courageous veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan Josh Stieber, Conor Curran, Brock McIntosh and Mike Prysner; and David LaMotte, award winning songwriter, itinerant peace activist and Program Associate for Peace at NC Council of Churches. Background music provided by local Asheville classical musicians.
Facts, figures and personal stories from firsthand experience highlight the continued impact of the permanent state of war being waged by the United States.

Gareth Porter and Ray McGovern had 3 parts each so I didn't put them on this thread but well worth the watch. You can find them here.
