6.5 Magnitude Earthquake downgraded to a 5.7 Magnitude Earthquake OFF THE EAST COAST OF HONSHU, JAPAN NOT BEING REPORTED - 4th Aug 2011

I have searched the European and American Seismic Networks to see if maybe by chance I missed this earthquake as with many Quakes in Japan recently they seem to show them at a lesser Magnitude than what they actually are so matching them by time down to the second is the best way to compare.

This Morning just of the coast of Ibaraki, Honshu, Japan at 08:51:04 (JST) A Earthquake was registered at 5.7 Magnitude with a depth of 40 km.

According to the Japanese Seismic Network Early Warning Systems 8 Earthquakes registered between 08:52:10 and 08:53:26 (JST) with an Elapsed time of 66 to 142 Seconds. They all registered in the same location of 36.5 Latitude 141.6 Longitude.

The first 4 Earthquakes starting at 08:52:10 all registered at 6.5 Magnitude with the final 4 Earthquakes Registering in at 5.7 Magnitude.

USGS has on numerous occasions list the Earthquakes lower than the local Seismic stations, on other occasions they remove them altogether and in some cases Do not even list them in their archives in the first place, which is concerning when it comes to working our the quarterly reports.

Is it actually possible to get accurate data anymore?

Report of these quakes which happened this morning can be seen here >>>>>>
