It may be that I'm just one of those weird people who have that tick to notice and count numbers everywhere, but I just couldn't help noticing the closing number of the U.S. Dow Jones: 11,444. I am aware of the ritualistic obsessions TPTW have with things, so that certainly caught me eye.

Reminded me of the rigged 777 point dive in '08 after a faulty vote by congress.

Cheers,
Fred

Greetings Fred,
I overheard the "news" before the Dow closed and assumed it would do so on a unique number. Thanks for posting, as I see it did just that! Hmmmmmm...
Blessings,Kristo

Hi fred,

Just found this on the net about 444 ......who knows.
http://www.ridingthebeast.com/numbers/nu444.php

Now 444 if we double up the numbers we get 888 and here it is.
http://www.ridingthebeast.com/numbers/nu888.php

I don't know about numerology, but hope that helps

Nice find Fred! I can't help spotting numbers either. Or playing with them. I don't know much official numerology, I just like to play with the numbers and see what you can find.

Today is 05/08 or 08/05 to you rebels.

5+8 = 13 = 4
2+0+1+1 = 2 + 11 = 13 = 4

A 13 day in an 13 year. Both reduced to 4.

The month 8 is 2x4. So 4x4 in the date and 3x4 in the closing number of the Dow.

edit:

I looked more patiently. You can get 8 4's from the Date.

Day and Month

5x8= 40 = 4+0= 4

5+8= 13 = 1+3= 4

5/8 = 0.692 = 6+2+5 = 13 = 1+3= 4

Month 8

8= 2x4 = 4 4

Year

2+11= 13 = 1+3= 4

2x11 = 22 = 2+2= 4

2+0+1+1= 4

8x4= 32.

According to R. Allendy, "it is the differentiation appearing in the organized world". It would not be the creative generation as 23, which is the reverse of 32, but rather the plan, the diagram, of the various forms of creatures modeled by the Creator. It would be also the karmic liberation sought in the tests of the natural law, 8 x 4 = 32.

Late Shri Pandit Sethuraman was one of the finest exponents of the sublime science of Numerology. He speaks very highly of the number 5 (five), and lists some of the numbers under 5 as lucky - 23, 32, 41 - getting pride of place.

Of these, 32 is an interesting number. It gives success in cycles. Pandit Sethuraman talks of the great Raja Vickram Aadityah, in whose life the number 32 recurred in many events.

23 three is meant to be the positive one, so 32 would be it's opposite.

Mentioned very briefly in a footnote on Wiki

Sometimes considered to be the occult opposite of number 23

The footnote links to the page on 23 (Numerology), but you can't reach it. When you try you get redirected to 32 Enigma which makes no mention of the occult 32.

How weird is that.

Either way, it would seem today is a suitable day for the ending of cycles.

5. 8. 2011 - 217th day of the year
5 8 4 = 17 (mirror is 71 .... see below)
5 8 ’11
Notice the combination of numbers in the date 5 8 1 .... read in reverse: 185

4. 7. 1776 birth chart of America – the day the Declaration of Independence was drawn up.
4th July falls on the 185th day of the year.
217 minus 185 gives 32

185 is a combination of the number 158.
On the 15th August (i.e. 158) 1971 – the day the U.S. defaulted on its debt - President Nixon cancelled the direct convertibility of the U.S. dollar for gold that ended the Bretton Woods System of international financial exchange. So, now money was no longer the precious metal gold/silver or convertible to these, instead it became coupons issued by the government with a no use by date. Nixon and his fifteen advisers made that decision without consulting the members of the international monetary system, so the international community informally called it the Nixon shock.

15. 8. 1971 ---- 15 8 18 = 41 .... what was that number the Dow Jones closed on on the 5. 8 - 11,444.
15 8 18 --- number combination 5 8 1

Everything (and everyone) is connected .... there are no coincidences.

There's a fault in my 'maths' above. I typo'd a number. There is actually one more 4.

Correction is...

5/8 = 0.692 = 6+2+5 = 13 = 1+3= 4
5/8 = 0.692 = 6+9+2 = 17 = 8 = 2x4

That's what happens when alt tabbing between calculator and forum lol.

That makes it 9x4=36, not 32

O.K., may be nothing but...Just happened to notice the Dow Jones today was down 5.55%. Hmmmm. Besides being the height of the world's tallest obelisk which proudly resides in the District of Criminals, what else have we here? I'm just sayin...

Cheers,
Fred

I didn't even notice last night that the S&P was down a corresponding 6.66%. Nice touch.
