That's been my thought all along. 2011 is where the important stuff is going to happen. (But I also think that 2011 is actually 2012....call me crazy.)

I met a strange man in a castle in Germany one day. This guy cleared the Semperoper and the Frauenkirche in Dresden of water after a flood in almost no time by changing the water's polarity, he also clears radiation of all sorts, he approached the Lord of the castle saying "I know you from Atlantis", that's why I say strange.

This guy said he figures 28th of October of this year is the actual date the Mayan's referred to.

I have not a clue, my time is always evernow :) I asked him, 'so what do you do at that date'? He said 'I'll be at home meditating'.

The first part of The Quickening was quite good, I thought, but the remainder got more and more fantastic, and I have to say, IMHO, ridiculous.

The number of events it predicts could happen within a matter of months from now until the end of October of this year could not possibly occur, and even if they did, the conclusions drawn are impossible.

If there really was a world wide collapse of the economy and all life supporting systems, world wide rioting, a planetary nuclear war, a false alien invasion, the declaration of a NWO etc., the arrival of 3 or 4 disruptive planetary bodies, etc. all before October 28,2011, then things would be in too much of a mess for anything to matter much before even halfway through that incredible scenario.

What would it matter if there was a declaration of a NWO if all communication lines were down and most people were dead anyway from starvation, chaotic conditions, planetary disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis, nuclear radiation and so on? Who would even know or care?

So why would anyone put out a message like this?

The only redeeming thing I can say about it is that, since prophecies are made (or so some think, at least) so that we can change the events that could lead to catastrophes, this video about prophecies might have been designed to help us change the predicted events, but I can only say that I think it was incredibly overdone and a much more subtle approach would have been much more effective.

The video is a bit doom heavy but some people need fear before they listen.
Agree with onawah that it is not possible to have all these events in a short space of time.
It might be pointing out that if we dont move to a more heart centered way of looking at the world then the other events would unfold after September-- taking however long it takes.
There is a lot of positive spiritual opportunity promoted in the video also.

However It is not possible for even the most caring people to learn to live harmoniously in nature without a lot of support to begin with, we simply dont know how to live off the land.
We/I couldn't even move to a safe place in a hurry as we dont have a car and live beside the sea.
So we are in Gods hands very much so.

...to eastern religions... very subtle. I really enjoyed the many years I mediated with a Zen master and looked into all the eastern ideologies... but they really don't have all the answers either... there is a subtle pushing away of the physical world in the teachings. And it is the physical world we are all involved in experiencing right now, to push it away is foolish. Yes, it is all ONE, however we are experiencing the MANY. Being ONE is not better than experiencing the MANY. And... we are NOT corrupt... we are simply experiencing this display of the ONE into the MANY. This film keeps implying that we are corrupt in some way because we are immersed in the drama. And, have you noticed how often this video repeats the same words over and over? I am always on alert when I notice this because I am aware it is a form of attempted programming.

Staying centered does not mean remaining in meditation, it can also mean action... it means being available to yourself in every moment and having no fixed idea of what to do that might get in the way of immediate action.

All that being said... I agree that it might be good to look at the worst scenario and the Hopi prophesies. It is like preparing yourself to go through a drama by taking a homeopathic dose before the actual event.

As always I will simply BE and await the intuitive knowing that arises for me when needed.

Have you noticed that the HARDEST thing to do is to remain in UNKNOWING? The unknown can feel like a roller coaster ride does. Even playing possible bad scenarios in your mind can feel better than facing the totally UNKNOWN and the deep silence of THAT.

Yes, I noticed that as well, also many scenes of terrible disasters shown again and again and again, much more than necessary to get a point across. Why would that be done if the intention was positive? I think there is a hidden agenda there.

The music in the background irritated me a bit, but that´s got something to do with me and not the production.

if we are all ONE , where does that leave diversity?
Yes, we all bleed the same blood, but I have never learnt from someone who always agrees with me. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed that presentation The One, thank you. I think this whole doom and gloom thing is way overblown being described as fear mongering. As a matter of fact I'm getting kind of sick and tired of hearing it, but to each their own. It was the "doom and gloom" that finally awakened me to the fact that my previous 42 years of "knowing" was nothing but one big lie. Out the window it went, was time to start completely over like a little baby. Up until just recently my journey over the last 3 years has been to sever all ties with the darkness and seek only light. Now I'm realizing that they are both one in the same, they are BOTH my old friends and my teachers, and I am ESPECIALLY grateful to the darkness for scaring the living s**t out of me enough to awaken from the deep sleep.

I agree totally that "this could be a good time", it's all a matter of perspective.

The Yin and the Yan symbol suddenly takes on a whole new meaning...I would also caution against assuming what is possible and what is not...

The diversity comes in at the level of perspective. Does the foot have the same perspective as the ear? Not at all, never-the-less they, along with the rest of the parts make up one body. And if you believe in reincarnation as I do, you know that we incarnate into every type of body, ethnicity, gender, experience, etc there is so that our soul may experience this 3rd dimension from ALL perspectives.

Again, it gets back to the notion (as George Kavassilas so eloquently expresses) of we are God (Source, the One, etc) experiencing itself.

Now there seems to be a storm coming and some of us have discovered
that each person has the ability to be a captain,
and furthermore, has the power to calm the seas.

Once this is fully realized it becomes nearly a duty to use those inner strengths.

To even think "never mind if we all drown, we can always come back in another incarnation"
