Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and her Republican counterpart Ileana Ros-Lehtinen urge federal funding for Holocaust survivors in the US.
EDITORS NOTE: With hundreds and thousands of natural born US Citizens, many of them Veterans of America’s wars, suffering homelessness and lacking treatment of any sort for their age and illnesses, these two valiant and gallant congresswomen want to provide special support and treatment for a specific group of immigrants who may have suffered at the hands of others.
Have you ever heard of anything more absurd ? The chutzpah is incredible!
After decades of struggle to rid the US of racial prejudice and preference, we are having racial prejudice and special preference stuffed down our throats at our expense by our own Congressional representatives.
What has happened to equal rights and equality of treatment for Americans in America?
Where is all the subsidized home care for Native Americans? Native born Americans? For US Veterans? For the thousands of street people who do not even have an “Institution” to go to die in?
Where is the outcry?
And, why are we reading this in the WJC, pulled from the Jerusalem Post?
