"god is not a parent figure in the sky" Essentially his message is stop looking for god in man's word and start looking for the god within yourself. Start treating people around you with some sort of humanity, stop acting like your better than others because their Jewish or their Muslims, Buddhist, Christian, Atheist because we're all just human. Following words written by humans to control mass groups of people.

Let me put a theory to you avalonuggets.
If satan is known as ''lord of this world'' and he also got the franchise to run hell.
Does that make this world hell?
I look around me and get the feeling it is.
Plus, add the stories of this planet being under quarantine from the rest of the galaxy.
Add all those up and the idea seems to be more clear.

Hel was a garbage dump in Jerusalem, i read. Not the scary symbol we have been brought up to fear.

BTW WELCOME BACK, LS!

This is the kind of priest IŽd love to have a conversation...We could use more religious leaders like him, for sure.

The reason earth is 'quarantined' according to most esoteric beliefs is not to protect the galaxy from us. The reason is to allow us to evolve our individuality without being influenced by other already highly spiritually and mentally developed beings.

Also the same argument can also be made for 'god', lord and creator of earth. If we look around the world you can see paradise in places with beautiful souls doing beautiful things. Alternatively you can find hell with evil being committed.

Hooray!!!

Pondering the concept of a hell for just a second or two makes my blood boil! There is no hell! Not one of fire and brimstone and eternal damnation anyway. It does not speak of a loving, compassionate God! No matter where we go after death, it is for one reason, and one reason only; your soul's evolution.

What would Dante say if he were aware of how his work had been hijacked, and turned into this manipulative tool?

The concept of hell is a "hellish" impediment to the entire human race. How are we to ever realise just how pathetically short of our Human potential we are falling, and therefore maybe, just maybe, start to collectively do something about it, as long as we are able to think that things could actually be worse? I for one, could not conceive of things being much worse than they already are! I have suffered so badly in this life, since my childhood, because I knew just how glorious we actually are by nature. Seeing the human race in it's current state is for me a personal hell, and writing about it puts tears in my eyes.

Thanks for the post Kt.

Tony.

In one of his interviews (don't remember which) Drunvalo Melchizadek stated that Pope John Paul II ,on his deathbed, apologized for the creation of 'Hell'. I thought that was a very significant statement. I'd like to know more about Drunvalo's source.

An interesting comment.

I'm attempting to pin down for some source material on this idea, a "being under quarantine," it will help me discern another issue that is in my 'gray basket.'

I too have recollections of this idea, however my storage banks are foggy. :)

Are the sources simply Steven Greer, NASA, etc... or are there other sources for this idea ?

TIA
