In the end my partner filled in the census leaving my name off as she didnt want to deal with the knocks on the door which i agreed with because im at work all the time.
I am a bit worried over this as she is now in their "warped twisted minds" breaking the law so i removed myself from all utility bills and changed my driving licence/car insurance to a different address.

Theres one thing im really enjoying from all of this and thats not being in the system and not playing their stupid games.
Does anyone else think this is the right move or im i leaving meself open to a whole load of trouble ?

Just tell them there are no PERSONS living at that residence. After all, the ALL CAPS fiction they are enquiring about is artificial, not a living thing.

Also make sure to ask them if the PERSON they are enquiring about is a legal entity.

If the answer is yes (it had better be, or they are lying through their teeth, as otherwise they would not be at your house chasing the all caps name which was registered to the government) then you can honestly tell them that you are not a legal entity.

Unless of course they can provide a copy of the law which compels you to either be, or to create and enjoin with...a legal entity/artificial being.

I don't know of any laws like that.

You may be getting yourself into lots of trouble... but it is good trouble ... a well thought out peaceable resistance from an 'innocent' standpoint ...

I refused to answer beyond my gender and how many living here on the phone 3 times. I told them 3 times why I choose NOT to answer their "15 minutes" of personally invasive questions.

My friend that used to work for the Census Bureau told me that they don't even take notes of what I say EXCEPT to answer to the questions. And my number gets jockeyed about through the agency for different people to call me who have no understanding of why I have not answered.

They have been harassing me with phone call after phone call. I finally unplugged my answering machine AND the ringer on my phone. What they are doing is and should be illegal, but until we get the government cleaned up from the TOP, they still pretend to have the power. It is sickening. (I live in a "test market" area and they are doing this to me as a random person in the spring of 2012...ridiculous...!!!)
