I have never been so upset by a poll in my life. Only 22% of Americans now believe "the movie and television industries are pretty much run by Jews," down from nearly 50% in 1964. The Anti-Defamation League, which released the poll results last month, sees in these numbers a victory against stereotyping. Actually, it just shows how dumb America has gotten. Jews totally run Hollywood.

Imo, paedophilia, more than anything else I can think of is the most vile crime to humanity (apart from hunger maybe). How can it be tackled when there is so much and the people in the highest places are involved? Child trafficking goes on all over the world in huge huge numbers.

I actually meant famine, rather than hunger, the stick children with huge bellies who are dying every second of every day - the West's collective shame - but I do take your point. Incidentally, a lot of the world's child trafficking comes about through poverty and hunger. Even though the offical figures are surprising I still think a lot of it is still suppressed.

What a grim tale. Of all the corruption going on in the world paedophilia is the one I find hardest to deal with. I just cannot get my head around it. I remember reading Mario Puzo's Godfather when I was a teenager and totally disbelieving his references to child abuse because at the time it just did not fit in with my world view. Of course that has changed in recent years (lol) and I have started reading extracts on line from books like 'The Franklin Cover Up' and Cathy O'Brien's Transformation of America and the the reports are so horrific I don't finish them. They are unbelievable but so was 9/11 at first and then you start to examine the evidence which, in the case of 9/11, is before your very eyes. Much of the evidence in these child abuse cases has disappeared which makes it even harder to draw an objective conclusion in an already emotionally fraught subject. I have read of one theory that false memories can be implanted to later discredit the victim as he or she confuses lies with truths in his testimony. As in all these cases one feels such outrage, frustration and helplessness.

KT, you are right- the entertainment industry is run by Jewish people and many entertainers are Jewish (despite changing their names) As long as we all realize that THESE Jewish people do not represent the vast majority of us. These people have tremendous egos, live for money and fame, and do not give a single thought to the rest of the world, including their fellow Jews. They donate money (and make sure their donations get publicized) to boost their ego and, more importantly, for the tax advantages. After all, if you're earning $20,000,000.00 a year, you need some big deductions to reduce your tax liability.

You see them out there backing "causes" for more social programs, the ACLU, etc. I believe that they do this because of guilt. Guilt because they earn incomes that are so far out in the stratosphere compared to the average American. This is how they convince themselves that they are caring people- fighting for the "little man".

So KT, with the understanding that these people are a different "type" of Jew, I agree with you completely that they run the entertainment industry. As far as a poll in America showing that only 22% of Americans believe that Jews run the industry, I can tell you why that is. Most Americans don't care who runs this industry; they go to the movies, watch television, go to plays for the entertainment and the diversion from their lives. People like us on avalon, who are trying to sort it all out care- the average person trying to make ends meet and treat his family to a weekly movie could care less who made the movie and what their religion is. It's not important to them.
