Have a look at these two very short clips below.I found them in the archives and decided to upload them

This is what was said In 1979, some friends and I were messing around with a video camera in a slum area of town that had largely burned down and never been rebuilt.

The video camera was old, with a heavy, over the shouder separate deck, obsolete even then. We saw some stuff flying around the buildings. At first we thought they were kites or maybe some radio controlled toy planes. We never did figure out what they were, but we got some of the stuff on video. It appeared as if there were two things, one smaller than the other. They moved pretty fast, so we guessed they were light, like balloons. They would fly away, then come back, for about a half hour.

The tapes and camera ended up forgotten in a pile of junk in the basement.

I just dug out the tapes, which are disintegrating. Unfortunately, I can't get the audio to work, so the weird noise can't be heard. The old deck functions just well enough to watch a few inches at a time of the tape. After playing a few seconds, the heads have to be cleaned, and the tape has snapped in a few places. I'm transferring what survives to digital format, and posting it here for anyone who's interested in this sort of thing.

I admit at first they look so fake but this was filmed in 1979 without any gci.Even though these do not look real i had to post

I have just uploaded 2 other video's of this event

Because this thing was filmed at different angles it makes it more authentic (Well thats my opinion)

How come there were so many cameras at different angles filming this event?

I personally don't think these are from 1979, I think this is faked to look a little old.
The only reason I"m posting is to express my dissatisfaction, since I did indeed watch these videos.

I don't get the infatuation with posting every single thing that has UFO attached to the heading on youtube.
Ships flying through the air are no longer acceptable proof that the earth is being visited by extraterrestrials, since most folks accept that the earth has produced anti grav crafts via human ingenuity.

I would love to see you grow past this phase and get into something with a little more substance to it.
Why not look for UFO contact or abduction interviews?
Testimonial that gives a glimpse beyond the walls of a UFO, and into "culture" and "biology" of the beings.

the second piece was most impressive with the object rapidly picking up speed, and like it was said no cgi, im not sure how anyone could have thought they were balloons though

I found this interesting and I'm also very glad The One decided to stay. I maybe shouldn't say this but I'm going to anyway. To my mind the poster of such data is always right because they have taken the time and trouble to do the reseach and present the evidence. What does bug me a bit - not a huge bug but a bug nevertheless - is that I see some posters carping because the data doesn't interest them or they are not convinced by it, or whatever.

Obviously you don't take on board everything you see on Avalon but I do accept that the poster has posted it in good faith. I doubt if any member has the time or resources to check out the bona fides of much of the evidence posted and so it has to be presented on a take it or leave it basis, and the members just have to make up their own minds. I simply don't see the point in posting replies just to say something negative. Why comment at all in that case? If any member wants to see posts that are more germane to their own interests then they know what to do! But niggling over what people like The One have taken the time and trouble to post, is one of the things that drives good posters away.

It doesnīt look like it was shot in the 70īs. It looks much more like a video edited with post production software to make it looks like it was shot in the 70īs or so.

The One, since they came from your own archives, that makes them even more impressive. Could it have been someone experimenting with antigravity? Or maybe someone invented a device that could levitate things? Even back then? I have to admist that a good place to test out things is in abandoned areas where no one will come around....
So, if you're 37 now and this is from 1979 which is 32 years ago. That would have made you--what? 5 years old?
These videos are so cool....
