I am posting this from this link http://scottcwaring.blogspot.com/2011/08/plz-help-100-bases-on-moon-discovered.html .Have a look what this guy says below

PLEASE HELP: 100+ Bases On The Moon Discovered (Many Photos and source), UFO

I have never asked for assistance before, but this time there are too many. They must be recorded before they take the site down. We may have a few days to a 2 weeks. PLEASE HELP ME, Scott C. Waring.

I found these structures on the moons surface and you can zoom in on them to get some real good views. The detail stands out a lot. I am asking all those interested in UFOs both amateur and professionals to please go to the source immediately and search for these black buildings, there are over 100+ of these structures. Please record them on your camera or cell phone and upload them to youtube ASAP. There are too many for me to document all of them. Below are some examples of how much detail and how close you can get. These photos are from #4 area of the source:

Does each photo have to be downloaded seperately? Is there a zip file link?

Thanks

Maybe they are blocking access to rapidshare. Does that page come up? What is on the page? It should start downloading if you hit the download button under the green arrow that is moving up and down.

I stayed up until nearly 2 am and downloaded each one individually. Three times I lost the site and thought maybe photos were being removed.

Now at @ 7 am I'm going back to site to see if they are still there.

Photos are still available on site...simply click to view then save if you choose.

http://planetarynames.wr.usgs.gov/Page/moon1to1mShadedRelief?map=lo

..and they are still the same photos....check out #4 for a taste of what you'll find in several. These are pdf files so you can enlarge quite a bit and see much detail.

Now I'm not as sure about seeing what I thought I was seeing at 2 a.m. For example, if you can pull up photo #3...I'll try to post it shortly....you will see the long, thin, straight....nearly perfectly straight line which looks like a long tunnel, or base or whatever....but upon extreme magnification one can see that it looks like a semi-transparent overlay of sorts as the rock/crater can be seen through it. At extreme magnification you also see faint parallel lines which makes me think this might be due to something in the imaging process or in the composite process. I'm no expert...just extremely curious. It certainly makes for interesting viewing.

I just downloaded all 144 photos....unreal. Am in the process of enlarging and looking at them. I am astounded.

#75 is interesting, but I can't magnify more than 800%. What are you doing to magnify is down even more?

I can magnify much higher, but it get's too pixilated. What program is being used to keep the resolution tight or is there a much larger file than the one you can just click on to view each pic?

Thanks Daledo - just downloaded Zip file and Zip opener - all photos seem to be working well. I will now have a good look at the photos - this is quite exciting!

No, you can't hold the resolution tight unless you use a software that adds virtual pixels but then you will lose the quality in a different way. You need a bigger resolution picture if you wish to zoom more.

If you want to d/l a lot of direct links on a webpage, there's a good plugin for firefox called DownThemAll:
http://www.downthemall.net/

It will find all the links on a page, filter to what you want and automatically down them all.

Took me about 45 seconds to get all the 291 PDFs from this link:
http://planetarynames.wr.usgs.gov/Page/moon1to1mShadedRelief?map=lo
