Hi everyone hope this finds you all smiling:p
Im sure this subject has been discussed before on this site so forgive me if Im repeating what someone else has already asked..
What Im looking for is a good complete body detox diet,Iv tried to find a good one online but as usual they want some money for their information(I dont even have a credit card) so i suppose im looking for a freebie off you wonderful people..
Any good information will be greatly appreciated

Get a juicer and go on a 30 day fruit and veggie juice fast - that will clean you out.

I just did a 10 day water and spiruline fast and Im not the same person anymore.
I had got to a point where i would sleep 9 hours and still be just so tired. I was bloated and could not concentrate.
The thing with toxins is that it prevents the cells in your body to fully hydrate and it overloads your liver and kidney, preventing them to do the work.
So you will not extract all the nutrients in the food. It just goes on and on with that domino effect.
The first 3-4 days of the fast are most difficult, you go into full Herkimer effect, where you feel like you have the worst cold ever.
Headaches are possible, body hurts everywhere and no energy.
This is good!.....it means that the body is extracting the toxins. Drink alot of water and rest.
Resting is the most important detail hile fasting, you do not want to have to go to work or anything like that.
You want to do absolutly nothing, sleep alot and read, stuff like that.
Anyhow, after the 4th day or so, it gets better.
Your body goes in Ketosis mode where it searches for energy because there is no mor glucose in the organs to feed off of.
Here is why its important to rest, if you need more energy because of effort, the body will use muscles first as a source of energy......
You don't want that to happen, so stay put!
Then the body will go for the fat.
If you go longer than 10 days, and you can, please get medical attention as you are then walking on a thin rope.
I can say that it was a drastic transformation for me, detox was great, lost 8 pounds, but mostly, it changed my relationship with food!
I realized that most of the time I did not eat because I was really hungry, but rather it was because of habit.
Now I have started to cook everyday, or cook big portions that I split up in individual portions and freeze.
I found a great cookbook from Jamie Oliver, "Food Revolution".......wow!
I do currys now, use fresh herbs and spices daily(medication), and even cook my own bread!.....
All this change in less than one month.

To be honest im not looking to lose weight im already quite slim, I seem to be one of those people who can eat what they want and not put on any weight, although I do exercise quite regularly which helps..
I dont mind resting as im currently out injured i done my anterior cruciate in my knee.So im at a point where I want to help the recovery but in a natural way. I thought a detox would be a food way to start

I've just gotten back from doctors to be told that there is nothing wrong with me, when I feel like utter crap, and have done for a few years.
I'm quite eager to start :)

There is alot of info out there. I have written the major points.
So you have the basics to start it.
Just remember these important facts:
You cannot do this if you have to go to work or be active, you really need to do abosolutly nothing for 10 days!....sleep when you need to and then rest, read, nothing much for the rest.
This is important because your body will eat up all your muscles if you expend too much energy.
After the most difficult first 4 days, then its psycological. You will be surprised how you are not really hungry.
Drink lots of good filtered water, don't use demineralized water or any of those horrible ozoned bottled water.
Usually if the bottled water comes from soda pop companies....and there are lots out there, it probably will be demineralized, ozoned and have additives.....not good at all!
I took spiruline 3 times a day, this is protein and makes it easier. Hardcore fasters will say that its not really a fast as you are feeding the body. They are right!
A real fast is just good water. You will still detox with spiruline although maybe a bit less.
You know the detox is working when your tongue develops a white film on it.
This will starts around the 3rd or 4th day.
The tongue is like an organ and the body uses it to expel bacteria and toxins.
Get a tongue brush and remove the film regularly.....that will help as you will have bad breath and possibly body odor. This is all confirmation that your are detoxing.
If you do have special medical needs or a history of problems, please consult your doctor first!
Lastly, go for 7 days first and see how you feel.
If you develop nausia or any other heavy symtoms, consult your doctor.
OH and also as important as the fast is how you break it and start eating again.
First few days, eat easy fruits like water melon, just a few ounces at a time and see how it goes. No acid fruits or a mix of fruits.
Watermelon is best and just that, then gradually get into simple raw vegetables and so on.
I never used to eat raw vegetables, now I eat some everyday (organic) and its awsome.

Like you said the psychological aspect is the hardest, sometimes I like torturing my ego ....pain is auspicious :)

There is a very simple, inexpensive way to detox. Dry brush your whole body every day. This will clear old skin and allow toxins to exit more easily. It also gently (the best way) stimulates the lymph pathways. The lymphatic system it our detox mechanism. There is more lymph fluid than there is blood, but there is no pump to move it around. Movement and exercise is the stimulant for lymph fluid and detox.
Modified Citrus Petin is an excellent, proven way to detox heavy metals. Far infrared saunas are excellent detox means. Take around 100/200 units of niacin and sit in the sauna for 45 minutes. You WILL detox! You want to sweat a lot, so drink plenty of water before starting.
But, as said above, a great, inexpensive way is to juice fast. Even better if you need to lose weight
