I have been keeping an eye on the USGS site for earthquake activity.

I find the conflicting data odd (or maybe not)

this one: Saturday, August 20, 2011 18:19:28 UTC

and here the list of earthquakes with a magnitude of 5.0 and greater, from yesterday

They are hiding something........ the largest quake here showing 7.1 was in fact shown as 7.5 for at least 3 hours after the quake, and NO local news agency reported it or the following second 7.1 quake !!!!!! Maybe they didnt feel in 70km away in the capital ?????????????????? no no. Could be the Solar Storm/Flair which publicly were announced to hit earth yesterday and again there is an alignment just fading between Venus, the Sun, Mercury & Earth of the planets which was perfect 18-20 aug. Again an alignment with major quakes.... Elenin must be something else than just a smaller comet (as NASA says)...

Hawaii remains clear of any tsunami threat following two large quakes and several smaller tremors in the Vanuatu Islands region this morning. An initial 7.1 magnitude quake (downgraded from an earlier 7.5 measurement) occurred at 6:55 a.m., followed by several smaller 5+ magnitude earthquakes, and a subsequent 7.0 magnitude quake at 8:19 a.m. HST.
