Researchers at the New England Complex Systems Institute say they've uncovered a pattern that triggers riots wherever it's found. What is that pattern ? The price of food... When it rises to a certain level, social unrest & violence are soon to follow. According to their calculations the food price index is due to peak in August of 2013, assuming no corrective action is taken.
Last week I wanted to make fresh salsa and bought 3 tomatos, an onion, garlic, cilantro, parsley and chips. The bill was $25. Why aren't their constant riots in Canada ?

Why aren't their constant riots in Canada ?
The same reason there aren't any in the US - most of the population is on some form of medication, and many are on 2 or 3 or 4 or more etc. The drugged population of the world is like the frog sitting in a frying pan slowly being fried and do not know what the heck is happening to them until it's to late.

either that or they know they are gonna end up in a FEMA camp
FEMA camps set-up for the purpose of mass extermination...According to the resent censuses, 18.6 million homes are now vacant in the United States. 23 million people have lost their homes, and the Banksters are now filing around 300,000 new foreclosures every month...
What is obvious is not always true, and what is true is not always obvious. That's why we have science. In their paper, they note that "Food riots" Are a long standing phenomenon. However, they are making very specific claims which go well beyond simply noting the existence of "Food riots." Further, they are actually making a very "Non-obvious" Claim, one which goes against much of the conventional wisdom, particularly concerning the ongoing uprisings in the Arab world because the assumption there is overwhelmingly that these are fundamentally political in origin.

A lot of people don't know what food costs? Why? They never buy any. They buy 2 Tacos, a Burrito, and a Coke at Taco Bell for $2.79. Or they buy other worthless "food" products that are made from sugar, flour, salt, and fake oils. Any number of combinations of "food" can be made from these simple, cheap ingredients. Just add some fake texture, food coloring, and "natural flavorings" and you've got "food".
Those of us who buy real food know how expensive it has become and is getting. You must also measure the price increases by watching how the product decreases in size or weight.

Most people want to ignore the facts of the dollar buying less and less. More and more people are getting on food stamps here in America, so they just swipe their card. I think it's like a shell game. Keep the people busy, ignorant and entertained until X point, then game over so to speak. Why do you think all these millionaires and such are buying up huge areas of land here and elsewhere to ride out the coming chaos. They've got theirs and know when the SHTF the people will want their heads, and they won't be easily found.
The sheeple will turn on one another, fight over resources or god forbid pull together and work without the help of the "elite", but my money is on chaos and mayhem based on past crisis and the spiritual condition of the populace today.
