I was looking for something related to this, but i couldnīt find any reference here I decided to make a new thread to share with you guys. For those who had not the opportunity to watch this documentary (Inside Job) by Charles Ferguson. It takes a closer look at what brought about the financial meltdown. A very interesting "disclosure" doc.

It has portuguese subtitles, just ignore.

I hope you enjoy it.

Excellent comprehensive description of what happened with the stock market and the banks and of who is responsible overall.

Some comments like the primie minister of Singapour saying: It is very very difficult to resist when you convinced yourself you could create money out of nothing.

So Simplistic!!!

good or bad??? Too simplistic or ok for the average folk? I think it would help my mother and sister understand, this is why I like it.

I saw this a few months ago and thought it excellent especially for a mainstream documentary. Unfortunately, it didn't stay in the cinemas for very long - I suppose for many people it was not their idea of a good night out! Some critics in the alternative media have criticised it for not going far enough but it does expose a mighty collusion between government, academic community and the bankers. There are some very embarrassing squirmy moments though for some of those interviewed - lol.. While it exposes why the crash happened and how it could have been prevented with more regulation, unlike a fictional film at the end no one is marched off to prison and Charles Ferguson doesn't really have any answers.
