You are pretty gullible if you think all of this insurgency in the middle east is spontaneous and is about freedom. Why do we care now when we turned our backs on the Sudan,N.Korea and Rwanda? The answer is we don't. The stated reason for our involvement isn't the real reason although a gullible people will believe it. The replacement govt's will be just as brutal. Watch McCain. He was supported by Soros in the last election.

Brasscheck TV and affiliate channels are definitely worth subscribing to. I agree KT it is not about 'liberation'. All the news coverage coming out of Libya at the moment is driving me crazy. The BBC sounds so gung ho or full of enthusiasm I have to turn it off. The whole operation stinks - the 'holier than thou' attitude of NATO and whether or not oil greed is behind it is not relevant, thousands have died and the funding should have been spent back home. And of course back in April World Bank President Robert Zoellick was saying he hoped to have a role rebuilding Libya as it emerged from the current unrest. We will soon see them fighting over the spoils.

They have to "sell it". Same here in America. I just shake my head and walk away. Lies, all lies.

I think they know a lot of people wanted mr.gadafi gone, but by no means does that mean, they are welcome to take his place. most of these 'rebels' are al-qaida, or people the US has released from guantanamo just to do that according to more than one reliable news source...and we all know how that ends.

also like said, its NATO dropping bombs and killing thousands of people, but then again maybe they want to free Libya from all Libyans not just one family.

Its about water supplies for underground facilities and the purest crude oil on the planet which is the easiest to refine for general use by said facilities during turbulent periods ahead.
