Expanding spiritual awareness

Dear members of Avalon

I would like to expand my spiritual awareness but I don't know how.

I notice that all through the day the smallest things give me strange ideas and in my dreams I see so much and such weird things and events. Most of the people I tell my dreams to laugh at the amount of "phantasy" I have and think I should write a book or something.

I dream everyday and I remember most of them. I can also go back to dreams of years ago and think about them in detail. They don't come true, as far as I can see (although I often have the feeling that certain events in daytime have already occurred. So much as that I know what the person with me is going to say next.)

Somehow, especially when I tell others and find that a lot of people can simply not recall what they dreamt the day before or claim they never dream at all,...I feel there may be a reason for me getting so much information.

It would be a pity if I did not use it (in the right manner). Therefor I'm asking for assistance from members who feel like they have the experience to help me.

Sounds like another one pulling "double duty." One possible answer to your extensive dream activity is that you may possibly be doing multidimensional work that you are aware of when unconsious, or even when daydreaming. What you report is an experience many can relate to, here in Avalon. As far as the expansion of spiritual awareness, often it is the seeking that is more important that the finding, for it is growth. May your seeking be full of joy!

Violet - I love your Avatar too. To enhance your spiritual awakening then I think there are a number of ways to do this, off the top of my head here are a few:
1) Be still, contemplate, meditate if you want to and ..........just be.
2) Understand that you are are human and rejoice in the good human traits and forgive yourself for the not so good ones.
3) Understand that you are a beautiful soul and part of a larger soul group and have probably (unless you are a young soul and this is your first incarnation) been here on Earth and other places before. Try to remember how it was 'before'.
4) The purpose why you are here in this incarnation is to learn the lessons that YOU and your higher council agreed upon, so try and learn them well
Finally finding greater spirituality is, in my view, ALL about L O V E . Being awake is essential to increase your understanding and by awake I mean seeing and being your higher self over your ego/mind/body.
I could recommend some good books to assist, but being relatively new I'm not sure whether I am allowed to recommend books. Dear Moderators - am I?
Remember your dreams, write them down and ask..................."what is it you want me to know". It will come to you.
Such a wonderful, beautiful, fullfilling journey lies ahead for you.

Well, that may explain for mysterious fatigues. And, you may have a point as far as the seeking is concerned. I've searched a long time before I found this here and the road has indeed taught me a lot, still is.

But I was more precisely referring to things like meditating and such. I'm new to that and if I can use that as a tool to gain more insight in whatever it is I'm experiencing then that would be great.

And as far as the dreams are concerned, I do write them down. They've become very extensive now. I don't know how to use this information. First I tried mindmapping them but that soon became a chaotic mess.

I'm making a database of keywords now per dream. Perhaps looking at a few recurrent keywords over a long stretch of time could help me figure out something.

Either way my dreams are always better than real life no matter how bad they get. It is always with much sadness that I wake up in the morning having to leave the nightlife. Not that I have such a miserable life ;). Sometimes it just feels like I'm more at ease there than here.

Thanks, Junebug, just browsed through it. It's interesting but not really the thing I mean. It's not about analysing my dreams to see if I can predict my/the future.

I'm just looking for a global approach to reach more spiritual awareness in function of my own life and/or in function of others.

As in recognising important information/signals when I get them - be they in dreams or daytime - and knowing what I have to do with them.

I don't know if that makes good enough sense.

Its good that you write your dreams down, it will all fall into place when its meant to.
11:11 is a number or I should say a sequence of numbers that I have seen a LOT of in my life, but thought nothing of it until recently when this was becoming quite intrusive (perhaps a bit strong) but certainly became very very prominent to me in my daily life. I kept seeing this number sequence everywhere, so being curious I researched it. One interpretation I found (they were all pretty similar) and that I really resonated with was written by Dorren Virtue, Ph.D on Number Sequences from the Angels :

The angels do their best to get our attention and to communicate with us. In this way, they help us heal our own lives. However, we often discount the signs they give us, writing them off as mere coincidences or our imagination. The angels say: “We can’t write our messages to you in the sky. You’ve got to pay attention and believe when you see any patterns forming in your life — especially in response to any questions or prayers you’ve posed. When you hear the same song repeatedly or see the same number sequence, who do you think is behind this? Your angels, of course!”

Your angels often communicate messages to you by showing you sequences of numbers. They do this in two ways. In terms of meditation, you have to find a form of meditation that works for YOU. There are a lot of different ways to meditate. I tend to keep things simple, so I concentrate on my breath, be still, quiet and observe. Sometimes there is nothing, sometimes there is a subtle message. Its good to meditate on a daily basis and for how ever long you want to. You might want to meditate with a purpose e.g I am meditating to feel this or find out this or ................. get my meaning? I don't believe that you have to sit cross-legged for hours on end (after all we are here to exprience the human element of being on Earth) but I do sit comfortabley, straight-back with my bare feet on the ground to be able to connect to the new Earth grid. Affirmations are good too to say on a daily basis and they can be complex if that's what you're into or they can be simple like "I choose Peace"......... and I DO!

i know for me the desire to grow spiritually has been strong the past few years of my life. ive been reading lots of books and meditating and really trying anything new that comes my way. a lot of which has definitely helped expand my horizons, that is for sure. my desire kept growing as i was making more connections, and i got to the point of where i was trying to grow too fast. in the end it actually slowed me down. there were things i was getting into that i just wasnt ready for yet

What has helped me a lot lately is the lack of desire for spiritual growth, so to say. Im trying to get closer to my higher self by thinking less and giving myself the space to allow my intuition to grow. this is where im making more connections to all the books and spiritual teachings that have come my way. i am a firm believer that everything happens in divine timing, so i realized slowing down has been a good thing for me

so...long story short. i think it is good to have the want for growth there, but i think too strong of a desire for growth can also slow your progress. im not sure if any of this resonates with you, but figured i would share my experience. hope this has helped in some way :)

Imagine that, ignoring it didn't work. :horn:What if it's information you knew you would need at a certain point in your life before you came in, and you made arrangements for that to happen.
