Strange EQ In The East, Some Felt It While Others Didn't

Ok Here Goes. I live in NY we had a strange earthquake here at 1:51 PM Eastern time in which many had felt and many did not feel this Earth Quake which lasted 15 seconds or so. Is this strange indeed yes, here's why. I asked many different people here in my city this question. some people whom were standing, sitting next to one another some felt it while the other person did not. I personally did not feel anything myself. My question is this. The person(s) whom have felt this EQ, are they less centered and balanced than the others. Perhaps someone on this site can explain this weird EQ. Or Was it HAARP activated, maybe. I would be interested to hear a response, if someone knows. Maybe Dutchsinse may have the answer.

I live in Costa Rica and I am now used to them, they are that frequent. What you say here is quite common, within 20 feet of one another people feel different effects.
Also different houses have distinct reactions, dependent on how they were constructed.
My explanation is that this is somehow like a situation where there is a surf of many smallish broken waves, and surfers get different rides dependent where they are in the surf.

Just offering a "long shot" explanation for why some would and others not feel the earthquake.

Some of the more intuitives have suggested "the shift" does not happen all at once and until that process plays itself out (if, in fact, it does) then we will be experiencing things here on good ol' 3d based on our consciousness or vibrational level.

I felt the earthquake at 1:50 PM EST up here in the Albany-Colonie area of NY State.
I was laying flat on my back doing sun tanning and my daily "raise the vibration & clean the Earth" time-line meditation on my 6th. floor apartment terrace. The shaking was more of a vibration. I opened the door screen and saw that the living room chandelier was not shaking, but the floor lamp light switch chains were swaying back and forth. I never got off my back, just looked at my watch, listened for any outdoor sounds (none), looked at the sky to see HAARP glows (none)...two minutes later I went back to meditation.

This earthquake was less than the Blue Mountain Lake Quake we had 20 years ago. That one was slamming the backboard of my bed against the wall and the living room chandelier did sway.

Later my wife called me at 4:00 PM from Brooklyn, NY. When the eartquake struck She and my Daughters mother-in-law were sitting on a stone bench in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. My wife was dozing and woke up from the shaking, the other Mother almost freaked out, my Grandtwins asleep in the dual stroller never woke up. The other Mother asked my wife what was going on and my Colombian born wife replied that it was an earthquake. The quake was stronger in NYC than in Albany about 180 miles North.

This was a very "subtle" tremor as I felt it in Long Island but many of my people didn't feel it at all because they were walking or doing something else. I felt it because I was seated working but I'm pretty sure if I was moving I wouldn't have.

Just wanted to point out that both EQ's today in Colorado and Virginia were both approximately 60 Miles south of two of the most underground secret facilities on the planet. Mt Weather and Cheyanne Mountain!

This seems like an underground "event" to me not an EQ!
Particularly centered on the word "EVENT!"

Whether it was due to something happening in/to the underground facilities or eq's courtesy of Mother Earth...both possibilities sound like some kind of message was being sent to a select group to me.

There was an article in the Boston Herald about the buildings in the financial district swaying...I'm about 40 miles sw of Boston and felt nothing, even though I tend to be very sensitive to eq's.

Well, I have a somewhat different take on those who feel a particular earthquake and those who don't. I live four hours south of Christchurch NZ and we have had our share of earthquakes. Some of my family are on their spiritual journey and that has included the information on parallel timelines, parallel realities. Im finding that we are not feeling the earthquakes. My granddaughter was in a stadium in Dunedin when the last big one struck Christchurch and the stadium was evacuated. Lucy, my granddaughter could not feel the earthquake even though those next to her were feeling it. She could see lights swaying but not feel it. I was traveling when it struck so its understandable that I may not have noticed, but none of my other family members did either which was odd. Is this an example of a parallel reality?

Yes this is kind of where I was trying to head with post # 7 (although ulli offers a more physical possibility as well). If so we will start to experience this more going forward as "the veil thins".

Pure speculation for me as I have never felt an earthquake (I think closest was 3.something within a couple hundred miles is all).

I think the one felt in NYC might have been the Virginia quake. I felt neither of them and I am in Rhinebeck, NY at this time.

It could be related to being alert versus being lost in thoughts, day dreaming, etc. Also, sometimes one mistakes EQs for passing big trucks.

I did not feel it in Midtown Manhattan office tower, but others did. I did feel nauseous right afterward though.

I felt it down in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
I was leaning up against my four wheeler ATV, pondering the job I was working on. Then the whole thing started to sway, I thought it was me or the wind but there was no wind.
Then a friend came outside and asked if I felt that...an earthquake?
I'm amazed at the distance it covered.
