Wow! The craft must've been quite sight to behold, hovering and revolving, with its impressive size and its lights all aglow!

Filmed on the 4th of January, 2011/ 19:30 Los Altos, Lima- Peru.

The UFOlogist speaking in the news clip about the event also mentions that there've been strange sightings along the Nazca lines.

He's referring to the craft caught on camera by American tourists, a few days earlier (1.1.011), as they filmed their tour of the Nazca Lines from a Cesna plane. (There's a link-up in the news screen of a still of the craft as he mentions it.)

This footage was taken from a tourist plane flying over the famous Nazca Lines in Peru January of 2011.
No other video evidence that I know of has ever captured a UFO from a distance of only 20-30 ft.
You may not be able to read any writings from the side of this craft, but you sure can see that this is no hole in the clouds.


On January 1. 2011 a couple of medical professionals on a trip to Peru, took the first early morning flight on a small Cesna aircraft to view the famous Nazca Lines. This video was taken from the plane window during the viewing of the lines.

The weather was absolutely perfect, as it usually is in this part of the desert. From out of nowhere, the plane was overtaken by a large dark, dense set of clouds. The passengers described fear as the captain of the plane asked them to brace themselves against the immenent turbulance.

The small craft was soon entirely engulfed by the clouds. The man videoing the Nazca Lines kept the camera rolling as they passed through the clouds. Unknown to the tourist was the disk that passed unsafely close to the plane.

He did not notice it until they returned to their room later on in the morning and viewed the tape. He was so shocked at what he had seen that he uploaded segments of the flight and shared them to be viewed by others.

I have to admit that the cautionary conclusion stated by the female presenter at the end of the OP clip made me chuckle:

"I read that Stephen Hawkins said that his mathematical brain tells him that there is a possibility of [the existence] of aliens, but he adds that we should not contact them because it is very dangerous."

"ET and humans would be like Columbus and the Native Americans.

"I guess we should not talk to the Aliens. Hawkins is a distinguished scientist and it must be the truth."

Regarding Ruby L's post...I'm not sure what to make of this video but if you look at about 2:07 into it you can see the shadow of the airplane on the ground below....if not this plane then one close behind it...and about two seconds later at @ 2:09 you can see what appears to be the shadow of a cirular object from underneath the plane as well....but you've got to look fast.....Unless I'm hallucinating, of course...

No, kathymarie, you're not hallucinating. That's exactly it, a long watch for a flash view of a strange object hanging out in the clouds.

Even the tourist who was filming it didn't see the object until he reviewed the footage later, at the hotel. And he'd been about 30 feet away from it!

What's that object? (To my eyes, it's an object because it wasn't anything like a bit of mountain top poking through clouds. They were high up enough for it to be only sky and clouds.)

That brings up the other unusual note: the climate of the Nazca Lines area is known to be dry and windless, part of the reason why the lines have been well preserved over time. (Though, rare and big rains occured in 2009 (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28739302/ns/weather/t/rare-heavy-rains-damage-perus-nazca-lines/#.TlezonPNBD4).)

The person who filmed this mentions that it'd been a perfectly clear day, as it usually is there. But suddenly, they were engulfed by a thick, dense cloud.

I'd heard that UFO's cloak themselves with big clouds. (if they're not otherwise exposing themselves to the public ;) )That's what's interesting about the video.
And of course, it's relation to the location.
