I see it as another banal, mundane sporting event with nothing but pomp and circumstance.

Wake me up when people get together for reasons other than sport.

I saw a video yesterday: Matthew Delooze Live On Edge Media TV (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6880940123553419313)
He explained that when people spend a lot of energy and attention to an event (I think it was a concert in his example) watch it carefully because it's
probably filled/loaded/surrounded by occult symbols thereby unconsciously paying massively tribute to things you'd rather stay away from.

I know it sounds like you are not allowed to enjoy yourself ... but the magic word is 'unconsciously'.

Understand both points of view.. But the human's mainly the African's are speaking great messages of love and unification.. And you have to wonder, if the powers that be like sports because of the competition it feeds, the human element of love and peace is still shining threw I see it as the new frequency pervading the world even in these things that were created to do the opposite. Human's doing there best with what they know and the opportunity they have.. Thanks for your input.... And the fact that it is in africa has to be making the draco turn in their underground locations. Humans have been singing and dancing for thousands of years, what only the hopi do it for peace no, anyone can dance and let the love for others move threw you and when millions are doing it at once I doubt it serves the dark, they dont like poeple like shakira, saying" why does the cia want to watch us", " No more fighting" The word love had to have been said a hundred times.. K' naan a performer " So many wars, settling scores bringing us promises leaving us poor, I heard em say love is the answer, love is the way, but look how they treat us, make us believers, we fight there battles then they decieve us, try to control us, but we just move forward, when will be free, so we patiently wait for that faithful day, Its not far away..

Society of the Spectacle.

When the world can join together for something as momentous as this and REALLY connect...that'll be a concert to watch.
