Before I go any further (now that I have your attention :p) I need to define the terms I will be using.
Think if you will for a moment of a wispy white cloud, dense enough that no blue shines through from the sky but pretty "thin." Now imagine an "inverted chemtrail" in this whiteness - i.e. a streak of blue sky "flying" behind an object and tracing its way through the white cloud, so that the sky is "blocking out" the cloud (or rather shining through it).
Also, when I say "UFO," I really do mean Unidentified Flying Object - because I couldn't see it. Read on and this will make sense.
OK - So I am walking home from the beach with my wife tonight, and while there she pointed out some chemtrails (in an 'X' across the setting sun - a pattern I've noticed pretty regularly for a few months now). She was joking, as she is pretty skeptical and was making fun of how I usually point them out.
On the way home, I watched a few more trails forming, and as we turned onto our street, I see a plane with a chemtrail approaching a cloud (as described above). However, I notice that in front of the plane, this "inverted chemtrail" is forming in the same path that the plane is flying - but ahead of it. This perfectly straight blue line cuts through the cloud as the plane approaches, and appears to be moving away from the plane i.e. the blue of this "inverted" trail is cutting through the cloud and "flying away" faster than the plane can catch up to it! I pointed it out to my wife and begrudgingly got her to admit, that this was kind of weird. The "inverted trail" was a perfect straight line, and seemed to be formed by something invisible, but with an obvious static diameter (the "inverted trail" was the same width the for the whole length as it sped away). It was also moving faster than this plane, which was flying in the same 'channel' cut by this other invisible object, and spraying chem/contrails behind to "fill in the cloud."
I ran inside to grab a camera, though after tripping over the dog and scrambling back outside the plane was out of view.
Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any other explainations of what was going on here? It seriously looked like some sort of "invisible" aircraft, with no visible exhaust, was being tailed through a cloud by a conventional (fighter?) plane - we live about 20 minutes drive from a military base. Perhaps Clif High is right and we are going to start seeing this weird stuff you can only see with 3G nightvision start "spilling into the streets."
