Thanks Ktlight it is just as prevelent in the UK........Its all about money and lobby power for positive support of Israel.....
Israeli influence thru 'donations' basically buys the support of the two most influencial westen powers of the last 100 years..In return Israel was a bulwark against communist influence in the middle east , after the end of the cold war Israel has needed to maintain support so has influenced all main parties on both sides of the 'pond'

This is a surprisingly hard hitting candid bit of investigational journalism exposing the extent of israeli influence ,well worth a watch...

It explains why the media as a whole, can stop the bulk of any criticism of Israel by using the 'anti semitic' card ..and by deffinition how TPTB can manipulte the press by threats and money...

There is also David Ickes Take on the Elites control of US/UK/Israel thru the Rothchilds, which is very plausible and is probably more accurate, not even the 'Dispatches' programme would go
anywhere near this, and when the journalist at the end of the dispatches vid said they could find any conspiricy just a web of secrecy , threats & moral corruption you know there is a line any mainstream journalist would not dare to cross..............Luckily David is not mainstream and he sums it up perfectly here....

In all fairness, it should be noted that the source of the videos in Post 1 and 2 are from an organization called The Council for the National Interest (CNI). It is an anti-Israel orgaization that opposes U.S. aid to Israel and disseminates demonizing propaganda about Isreal to audiences. politicians and academics. In June 2010, it's new president, Allison Weir, was the director and a journalist of "If Americans knew", an organization that produces and disseminates propaganda intended to de-legitimize U. S. support for Israel.

One of the arms of the CNI, the CNIF, attempted to obtain I.R.S. tax exemption status, which was rejected because their "biased presentation did not promote public education" In recent years the CNIF sent several delegations to the Middle East that met with terrorist leaders from Hezbollah and Hamas There is a lot more to post on this organization that promoted the two videos above, but I believe you get the point.
