Many of you have probably heard about the Enneagram and some of you not, but as it is being introduced to me for the 2nd time in my life, I am passing it on to you...
I have taken the test and turned out to be a 5 (The Investigator).
Personally I think the description of the type I turned out to be correlates pretty good with what I feel deep inside and I think both the Enneagram and the Jung Typologi -test (INTJ here) could be used as tools for one`s personal growth if used right.
According to the Enneagram it is 9 different personality types, each with its own "wing"-type. The types are: The Reformer, The Helper, The Achiever, The Individualist, The Investigator, The Loyalist, The Enthusiast, The Challenger, The Peacemaker.
People also tend to "change" into another type when pressured etc. and when their own type`s self defense no longer will manage the situation.
Here`s the link to the site where you can take the test and read more about the Enneagram and what it is:

Enneagram Test Results
You are most likely a type 1.
Taking wings into account, you seem to be a 1w2.
No personality test is completely accurate. Although several measures were taken to make this test as accurate as possible, there's always a chance that you are not typed correctly by it. Therefore, when deciding which Enneagram type and wing you are, you might also want to consider the types with the highest test scores on the lists below.
(Note that your lowest scores may be omitted.)
Type 1 - 10.3
Type 2 - 9
Type 7 - 7
Type 3 - 7
Type 8 - 5.3
Type 9 - 3.3
Wing 1w2 - 14.8
Wing 2w1 - 14.2
Wing 2w3 - 12.5
Wing 1w9 - 12
Wing 3w2 - 11.5
Wing 7w8 - 9.7
Wing 8w7 - 8.8
Wing 3w4 - 8.7
Wing 9w1 - 8.5
Wing 7w6 - 8
Wing 8w9 - 7
Wing 9w8 - 6
Enneagram Type 1 - The Reformer
Enneagram Type 2 - The Helper
Enneagram Type 7 - The Enthusiast
Enneagram Type 3 - The Achiever
Enneagram Type 8 - The Challenger
Enneagram Type 9 - The Peacemaker
Aw dang, no cape or blue pants, jeez what a disappointment:-)

Helpers who need to be needed
People of this personality type essentially feel that they are worthy insofar as they are helpful to others. Love is their highest ideal. Selflessness is their duty.
Giving to others is their reason for being. Involved, socially aware, usually extroverted, Twos are the type of people who remember everyone's birthday and,
who go the extra mile to help out a co-worker, spouse or friend in need.
Twos are warm, emotional people who care a great deal about their personal relationships, devote an enormous amount of energy to them, and who expect,
to be appreciated for their efforts. They are practical people who thrive in the helping professions and who know how to make a home comfortable and inviting.
Helping others makes Twos feel good about themselves; being needed makes them feel important; being selfless, makes Twos feel virtuous.
Much of a Two's self-image revolves around these issues, and any threat to that self-image is scarcely tolerated. Twos are thoroughly convinced of their selflessness,
and it is true that they are frequently genuinely helpful and concerned about others. It is equally true, however, that Twos require appreciation; they need to be needed. Their love is not entirely without ulterior motive.
Twos often develop a sense of entitlement when it comes to the people closest to them. Because they have extended themselves for others, they begin to feel that gratitude is owed to them. They can become intrusive and demanding if their often unacknowledged emotional needs go unmet.
They can be bossy and manipulative, feeling entirely justified in being so, because they,
"have earnt the right" and their intentions are good. The darkest side of the type Two fixation appears when the Two begins to feel that they will never receive the love they deserve for, all of their efforts. Under such circumstances, they can become hysterical, irrational and even abusive.Because Twos are generally helping others meet their needs, they can forget to take care of their own. This can lead to physical burnout, emotional exhaustion and emotional volatility.
Twos need to learn that they can only be of true service to others if they are healthy, balanced and centered in themselves.Twos can mistype themselves if they are not in an obvious helper role in their professional lives; they might not recognize the extent of their involvement in assisting others.
This is especially true for male Twos, who have not received the same social rewards for helping as female Twos receive. Male Twos frequently mistype as Ones or Threes,
the wings of type Two. Females, of all types, are bound to recognize some of the dynamics of type Two in their personalities, as such qualities have been socially reinforced.
Female Nines, for instance, are especially prone to mistyping as Twos, particularly if they are the mothers of small children. But Nines are self-effacing and humble;
Twos are proud and have a strong sense of their own worth.

I'll never forget when I was taking my first enneagram course
how hard it was for me to fit those nine divisions into the twelve compartments
that my brain had built as a result of being an astrologer.
It nearly cracked my skull.
By the way I was 3 back then, with a 4 wing...now I am a 5 with a 4 wing.
That's because I consciously retrained my inner achiever (capricorn sun)
allowing my natal Pluto in my first house to come out more, which corresponds to the 5, investigator.

i feel as if I just wasted the last fifteen minutes!
When I was in my teens I used to read every and all magazines within my reach.
Many magazines aimed at women had these personality type tests and we used to fill them out and have a laugh etc...
I believe I am a typical Capricorn ,but did I read that and program myself or am I a typical Capricorn.
Anyway, regardless of whether an intellectual designed the test or a young girl working for a magazine ,its still a load of guided bull.
My opinion,of course!

Most of my astrology clients live in third world countries and don't even follow the magazine culture that exist in western countries.
Most of my clients also were mums who had the sincere desire to understand their children's personalities, which ranged from social butterflies to hermit loner types...from artists to jocks...
Giving them astrology readings that explained to them the benefits of opening their minds to this diversity instead of trying to force their kids into societal molds made the family environment more harmonious.
Of course, their Capricorn dads only ever showed interest when they brought home astrology forecasts about investment or other money making strategies...:)

I got type 8 - The Challenger, and my wings seem to be balanced
"Taking charge, because they don't want to be controlled
Eights are essentially unwilling to be controlled, either by others or by their circumstances; they fully intend to be masters of their fate. Eights are strong willed, decisive, practical, tough minded and energetic. They also tend to be domineering; their unwillingness to be controlled by others frequently manifests in the need to control others instead."

I came out as a 7w6
Which seems true enough when I'm at my best, but intuitively I feel that there is a polar opposite, which is equally true of me (when I'm NOT at my best !)
What do others think ?
The second test shows me as a 7w8

blood type AB.
take from all, give to none, or give so rarely that i might aswell not bother looking out to give to any.
to be serious, i might have a look at my Enneagram type, but i had the feeeling last time i did that i could score multiple vectors.
only thing noteworth is INTP/architect. (i remember Enneagram animals, where ENTP was snake, and INTP eagle , this as by personality mode)
& that in this cite socionics.us i found all the responses given personality types would make to ...these so-called personality characterization types.
indeed in future it may be that this helps us in forming a more operative/cooperative society.
mutual manly respect for all the NT's , the 4 NT-centralis i call us.(by which i respect even Ld.Sidious, .. one of the centralis in this mode processing type i see him as)
(but their are so many system organizations of a single output from a single source[the human])(in end aspect i recommend u all reach X5x120)
