View Full Version : Buy Silver Now

Max Keiser has been advocating buying " physical " silver for some time now as he believes the Banksters don't have anything like what they've sold on " paper ", and with people pulling their money out of the stock market at the moment the precious metals market is soaking it up. Buy now because there won't be enough to supply demand.

Thanks. I concur that the days of the Federal Reserve Note and other forms of fiat currency are numbered. The more common folks who convert their paper to precious metals, the less the panic will be when the paper notes devalue ala the Weimar mark or the Zimbabwe dollar. Fear and panic is what the controllers thrive on. Deny it to them. Go into precious metals.
If you don't have the disposable capital, then get food and a good water filter. At least you won't starve (which is why most people will panic when their money becomes worthless).
Above all else, remember that the most important thing is spiritual salvation. Remember what George Green and Inelia and others have taught us.

If there is a communal interest, I know some people who can have custom coins made out of silver.

There are loads of ways to make bread without an oven. Maybe we need an Avalon recipe book. But we're getting off topic -- PM me if anyone wants recipes for things like flatbread, pita bread, corncakes, etc. You can cook these things on a fire (either fireplace or open pit outside). I think a Dutch oven (covered and set on a fire) would cook things like English muffins, bagels, even a cake. Remember to get your cast iron skillet ready! It takes the fire like nobody's business.
Here in the southern US, there are times in the summer when all you'd have to do is go out to a flat rock for your cooking surface (it gets so hot). :)
Returning to the topic of buying silver. I noticed on one of the prepper shows, they sell rolls of quarters from pre 1969 (I think that's year the mint switched?). If you did need to use it for currency, it's a convenient, smaller piece. Also heard of buying silver chain, like from a jewelry-making store. Fire Mountain Gems in Idaho sells wholesale to everyone. Of course, silver and gold would be market price. But it's easy to order online. I think they do international orders.

The point I was trying to make was that it is Enlightenment we are striving for, not a return to the Stone Age.
I see nothing wrong with offering pieces of silver in exchange for goods and services.

Hi Taurean,
I see your point.
Neither do I see anything wrong with silver as a currency exchange. I think if there are disruptions and disasters, we will end up using a variety of methods - silver, gold, barter, and goods and services.
The practical side of me wants to know how to make food though, because everyone gets hungry while they're working toward enlightenment.
I will return your thread to you now with apologies -- thanks for starting it.

Peace to all.
I agree that we should have six month's supply of food plus good water filters at hand. Once those are secured, disposable capital could be converted to precious metals. It does two things. It denies the metal to the bankers who created the mess and secondly, it preserves your ability to buy food in the future once your supply is exhausted.
Remember, above all else that spiritual salvation and embracing the changes that are coming are more important than physical survival.
One last thing, look up solar ovens.

Well if you don't want to trade with it you can always dress your wounds with it.
Silver has excellent anti-bacterial qualities.
"Recorded use of silver to prevent infection dates to ancient Greece and Rome; it was rediscovered in the Middle Ages, when it was used for several purposes, such as to disinfect water and food during storage, and also for the treatment of burns and wounds as wound dressing. In the 19th century, sailors on long ocean voyages would put silver coins in barrels of water and wine to keep the liquid potable. Pioneers in America used the same idea as they made their journey from coast to coast. Silver solutions were approved in the 1920s by the US Food and Drug Administration for use as antibacterial agents." - Wikipedia

For those that are thinking of dumping all the cash you have under your mattress into the physical, despite numerous indicators that it's a safe bet, think again. "THEY" can bring the price down to what ever level "THEY" want. And very fast too.

Ok... I think it's a great idea. I have been stocking up on precious metal for about 4 years now and it has been a really good idea. I haven't tried to sell any and that appears to be a whole other game. But I will cross that bridge when I come to it. Thanks for this post.
About food.... I hope everyone realized you can eat lots of food that is good for you and stores really well without an oven or heating supply. Cooking isn't really necessary for many foods, and even causes inflammation in the body when you eat it. Although I have stocked up on food and have a small portable water filter.... can't say this is a long term solution to anything. If all the horrible disasters that are predicted occur, nothing but a total change in reality or consciousness will really make a difference.
Still... it is comforting to actually DO something to prepare instead of sitting around in FEAR.... Once I go into action it pulls me out of the frequency of FEAR and into the higher vibration of COURAGE. After reading this post late last night I spent today ordering some silver and buying the remaining items needed for a 'bug out pack' and some additional food that lasts in long term storage.
Once I am complete with a 6 month supply plan I will again relax and enjoy life. And... perhaps I may relax earlier if the sudden urge to take action evaporates.

Looks like they're pulling the rug out of the metals market.
Silver has lost 1/4 value in the last week.
Gold is down significantly already.
They are talking about the world economy on the brink. Why are the safe havens of Metal tanking?

they are safe havens for people like us, for the REST of the world the safe haven is the dollar (always has been, look at what hte dollar did during 2008)
View this as a buying opertunity... it will not last.

I found this to be very true. Everytime fear starts to creep in I shift into preparation mode.Action towards your goal, even if the goal is not a good goal, eleminates fear, and the opportunity is used to re-evaluate and make sure you are on top of your game.. ... I went to the dump today to pick up old oven grills that can be used in a homemade rocket stove. I assessed my food storage again. I will not purchase more, or sell heavy metals. I am not counting on metals for my survival in a full economic crash. Tomorrow I will reassess clothing and order seed for next year. We will go for more fire wood this weekend. ... and again we are discussing if we can build a green house this winter.
Food will be increasing in value 5% a year, maybe more over the next 5 years. Its the best investment you can make and is easier to trade than metals if your neighbors need food. My survival plant is a 2 year food storage for 4 people... but now my sons have girlfriends so I need to amp it up for 6 people. This means we need at least 8 more buckets of something.
Pinto beans went up $2 for a 25# bag over the last 6 weeks... from 16 to 18 dollars. Thats a HUGE increase percent wise.
Most dried foods when stored properly have a 30 year and perhaps even more storage time span. This is for beans and white rice. Beans have been found in Anasazi ruins that still sprout. I had their second generation at one time given to me from a friend who was linked to the growing program for these beans at a University.

Physical gold is in drawers and under mattresses all over the planet. Nations have also purchased large quanties and hold it in their verions of Ft Knox. I have also seen vaults built into houses in the USA

I bought silver several years ago....still holding onto it. I just wanted something to barter with if something went down. I also wanted a real investment, something that would go up in price. Something I can hold in my hand. I like shiny objects anyways....heh!
I also have lots of food storage, I buy in bulk and rotate. I am eating rice and pasta from six years ago. Meaning, I'm eating food at prices I paid six years ago. I'm saving quite a bit of money this way. I have food storage for that reason and also because I live in BC. You never know when the "big one" will happen. I certainly don't dwell on it all. I like being prepared. I like that I have a couple years worth of food. I like that I"m not paying today's prices. I also have lots of seeds that I buy every year. I grow my own veggies in the garden. I just plain old "feel good" doing this stuff. Like I said before though, I don't dwell on it. Twice a year I go out and buy and rotate, takes hardly any effort. I pack everything up in mylar bags and o2 tablets and I'm set! I recommend everyone do this and grow their own veggies! Just don't tell anyone! hehe!!

Withdraw paper from the bank and buy physical. If you buy PHYSICAL silver, you will crash JP Morgan and seriously upset Ben. So go out there and buy a silver coin!
