Bonny,
I met you in the chat room a while ago. It was an amazing experience, because recently prior to that I had come across your work on the internet and admired it very much indeed. I was surprised when I realised that there you were in the chat room in Avalon......hehe, a strange coincidence. I love your portraiture, it's stunning.
I have always painted and sketched for as long as I can remember.....but I have lost my inspiration in recent years. It is a great source of disappointment to me that I don't paint anymore, yet I can't seem to find the spark within for some reason. I hope to correct that, and I will continue to be inspired by great artists with a sincere message like yourself, so thank you for sharing your work with us, it's beautiful.

Yes, Alex Grey. Interesting guy, truly amazing art. I spent 3 days following him around when he was in Australia recently. I did not quite resonate with a few things he said. He advocates the use of drugs quite allot even synthetic drugs. When asked "do you drugs to create good art" he replied "yes, I dont have time to meditate." If this is the case I will need to throw my art carear out the window cause I dont use any drugs - I dont meditate much although I should.
Also when asked about 2012 he said the whole 2012 thing was rubbish. Um, I have been researching the whole 2012 thing for 7 years now and I feel that people who say its all rubbish are people who have not looked into it - there are so many aspects to it. A bit like 911 - the only people who believe the official story are those who have not bothered to look into it. Other than that, nice guy, awesome art.

I love your art, Bonny!
My way of spreading the message (other than posting tons of things on Facebook every day to hopefully wake up the masses.) is through my online show, "Earth Created" (link below.) and my lyrics. I have both my duo Ophir's stuff and my solo stuff, but only my current Ophir stuff (link below. :)) is available to hear online. Please enjoy. :)

Hello Bonny, you work is tremendously interesting. Thank you for posting it. I went to your website and saw this at the bottom of a page - about your grandmother. THAT is tremendously useful for us older folks, helping to open undreamed possibilities before us at no matter what age. Again, thank you for this:
THIS IS A PLUG FOR BONNY HUT'S GRANDMOTHER, MAVIS HUTCHISON & HER FASCINATING & INSPIRING BOOK. AVAILABLE HERE FROM AMAZON.
"Mavis Hutchison became famous as the first woman that ran across the United States, from Los Angeles to New York City at the age of 54. Her route, run in 1978, took her 2871 miles and 70 days. She made history and fulfilled a dream. That crowning moment, however, did not come easy. By her own admission, she had no personality, no guts and no backbone. Her rise from whispering hope with no hope at all, to that triumphant finish proves once more that success is available to all who are willing to pay the price and will accept that there are no limits other than those we impose on ourselves."
Since 2005 (since age 81) she has set South African W80+ master records for 100 metres (18.84 sec), 200 metres (45.46 sec), 400 metres (1:52.88 min), and 800 metres (4:34.13 min).

Love your work and this thread Bonny... just discovered today (thanks for 'reviving' it)... there seem to be many 'gems' around here.
I've been posting several little 'ditties' up recently as I get inspired... Here's an example:

Blessings...
(The artwork isn't mine... just found on google: )
For some reason, (I think because yours is quite complex, with several separate figures per painting), your artwork reminded me of an artist whose book I used to have called, "The Ultimate Alphabet" by Mike Wilks. In it he did a separate painting for every letter of the alphabet, with many images for each letter/painting... every figure's name in each painting started with the letter "A", for example. Here's a couple images from the book:

Thanks to all for your amazing contributions here. And thank you Meggings for your post here. Yes, my gran is just an ordinary little lady, who decided to focus on forfulling her great dream a little later in life... she also only started running later in life. After raising 6 children and an abusive husband who ran away. South Africa was also under heavy sanctions at that time so it is Amazing that the USA supported her so. We can ALL forfill our dreams. No matter what the obstacles we face. Perhaps it is our duty to our soul to do so.
