Wow! Today, September 1st, 2011, 673 new Texas laws take effect. I don't know if it's standard operating procedure for the Texas Legislature to pass so many laws in one year (or even if this is all the laws passed for this year) or if they've outdone themselves this year. But I know that I feel a whole lot safer and much love coming from big brother. ;) How about the rest of you Texans? Yee-haw!

Considering the thousands of new laws the Federal government has passed in the last couple years and who knows how many new laws each state has passed, I'll bet, at this rate, it won't take 'em more than a year or two to have virtually every aspect of our lives controlled and laid out for us. Man, won't it be grand when none of us have to think anymore and we can just be told what to do, when, where, and for how long? (Forget that 'why' crap, it's grossly overrated.) I know I can't wait!

Boy Texas just gets better and better don't it.

Yeehaah they got-her done didn't they, right up the booty and with no K-Y.

Amazing, and Texans (generally) think it's a great place to be and no better.

Maybe , till you get busted duuuude.

By I digress

I think it should be law, especially with all these taxes we pay, that all residential and businesses should get a hard copy of all new laws.

Here's something that will make you feel even better- whatever the legislature doesn't, or won't pass, our President will, by Executive Order. Isn't that great?? :(
