If nothing happens..... what will you do?

Hello, I am starting this thread to let everyone say what they might or might not do, or think, if years pass (2011, 2012, 2013 ) and nothing seems to be taking shape ( no contact, no major shift in conciousnes, no major earth changes, just same old same old ). Not to imply that nothing will (i beleve in my heart somthing will ), but in beleiving what we do, everyone has to be honest and admit that you probrably have toyed with the notion that we could all be totally wrong, and i am just curious what everyones imput would be if that turned out to be the truth. I for one, know that i wouldent abandon my beliefs, but i would have a lot of re-evaluating to do. And mabey if we all shared with each other, if that did indeed turn out to be the case, we will not be as unprepaired. We could benifit from everyones point of view concerning this. Thanks guys.

Well that's a very broad question....I personally believe that there will be proof of intelligent life out there before my time is up on planet Earth, but if it doesn't happen, I'll still believe there's life out there so nothing will change, other than me being frustration a little more, perhaps!

I've already seen enough of a shift to be fairly satisfied, the world is changing fast - very fast, in the least that momentum will carry forward in the next 5 years to leave us in a different place than today, so things to me are already happening on a pretty big scale and this is easy to see if one isn't being distracted by "normal life" (which 90% are too distracted to notice something shoved right in their faces). So totally wrong? about what? Earth changes? we're already seeing them? political changes and unrest? we are already in a heightened tim. PTB trying to implement a socialist NWO with themselves at the helm -- already happening for those with eyes to see - they have accelerated plans and taking risks, those who have been following this can see it. Disclosure? we are close right now ... An event of ascension? depends on how you describe this. Even a shift to less fear based reasoning can be considered an "ascension" of sorts - the younger generations are fearless and take no crap from anyone - they are raising the frequencies just for being them. A vibrational "octave" shift into a higher level of existence? Who knows, but I understand physics and how the universe works - this will likely depend on us a s collective though .. may or may not happen. Mass solar flares from the sun? Well we are in the most active time in the regular cycles - how these will affect us in detail are anybodies guess.

So from my perspective we are already in the middle of a shift. You just have to expand you time frame beyond your life to realize this. Major changes in the world used to be measured in epochs and dynasties, today it is daily and increasing even more per day. Something has already happened, something is happening now, and I believe these changes will continue for a few years, but the details may be unpredictable. My 2 cents ;)

Well, Ive been shifting and changing in consciousness for a few years now and that has certainly excellerated (spelling!) in the last few months/weeks. It has also completely changed how I live and those that live around me. My outer is more and more reflecting my inner.

I've been feeling major changes, time acceleration, new aspects of perception, a different set of consciousness. We are already changing and it's happening. The movement for awakening has started. I don't expect something to happen overnight but in the years to come i think we will begin seeing a much different and broader light. Just think about how much things have changed in the past 10 years! It's a new surfing wave that we catched and there will be more waves in the future bringing new realizations, ideas and perceptions.

And as for Dec21 2012, I think we should organize a PARTY :D

I've thought about this quite a bit. The world is a wonderful place sometimes and a terrible place other times. If we are wrong about what is going on behind the scenes and what might manifest in the near future then it will amount to being wrong about an entire worldview, a paradigm that a whole lot of people for a long, long time have been working very, very hard to reveal and to bring before the world.

It would be very difficult to hold on to some of these belief systems pertaining to a lot of the extraterrestrial stuff if there is not some form of manifestation. For the NWO stuff, I think it is mostly beyond argumentation by this point. As far as the spiritual stuff, I think many have personal experience of that, but for those who do not, it may be possible to give it up or rationalize it if there is not some sort of physical manifestation, for example, the arrival of the wave, or something prophecy related that can be unambiguously disassociated from some NWO conspiracy theory. The earth changes are happening around us, to what end, we shall see although earth changes are a part of living on this planet, even if there are long time periods of peace and we just so happen to be living in one of intense instability and change.

It'd be nice to live in boring times. To have a stable economic system and societies within which we could live long, peaceful lives, for the most part. That'd be wonderful.

Something has already been happening. Have you not felt the wave back in May? If you did not, then I will tell something about it. It awakens the Kundalini, enhances psychic abilities and almost like in the movie The Matrix, enables you to see and sense everything with all eyes. As for Aliens, I have met some, the grays since I can remember in 1970s while I was a boy in Iraq.
So, from the way I see things, things have been happening everywhere, so far I can't say what will happen, but I can say what has been happening.

I will have to get my spidey senses checked and consider being medicated if no major earth changes happen before November 15, 2011. Seriously though, my gut instinct (which I follow constantly) will no longer have any credibility for me. I can't imagine what that will feel like...probably like losing my best friend. However, once medicated, it will be nice to put all my energy into my current life. And when i study my loved ones who are stuck in this reality, i do have to questen myself if i am sane. And with all the disinformation out there, we have probably all swallowed something unreal i suppose.
But there is just to much information out there to ignore, and if you connect the dots there are something going on that the most of the world are not aware of.

If there is a shift at 2012 and we end up in a perfect world reality, i will not complain at all. But i am not stuck in a scenario that this is the only way it can play out.
I just live my life the best way i see it, and i try to stay positive and take care of my loved ones.

There have always been those who say 'the end is neigh'. As a child I remember there was a man who used to walk around on the Perth foreshore with a big sign saying so. At the time I asked my Father about it and he said: 'The thing you should remember is that one day he will be right.'

My point is that the current end-time predictions (2012/2011, CME, Comet impact, Planet X, Nibiru, take your pick) are nothing new (look at the history of cataclysmic predictions (http://www.religioustolerance.org/end_wrl2.htm)) and while there is always the possibility of an extinction level event (ask the dinosaurs) I don't spend my days wringing my hands in fear.

Truthfully I'm more concerned about increased legislation loosening the constraints around surveillance and "authorised" access, the decrease in already limited individual "freedoms", increased world population and impending oil/water/food shortages.

So, I will continue doing what I do and only change that if something happens.
We live away from most people anyway and are fairly self reliant so unless we have to go up the hill to miss a tsunami, or something so devastating happens that we couldn't prepare for it anyway, life will continue.

One thing I would like to say is that I notice that some people (myself included at times) focus solely on the "next new date/timeline..." and forget to live NOW and get stuck in the same old conversations with nothing really new to add, maybe the "date" that they had in mind was incorrect so that gets adjusted... maybe someone or something debunked the latest 'truth'... maybe that earthquake was just an earthquake... maybe so maybe not... you get my point I think.

Me thinks that if we are not careful to shift the focus up and out the window instead of on the screens in front of us we may just be missing out on something that is right here right now... do your due diligance but don't forget to be a part of your world as well! if we keep on waiting for something "big" to happen, we miss all the small things too... when was the last time you just sat outside and watched the birds, or how the breeze lifts the leaves on the branches... insert your favorite relaxation here....

paying attention is never a bad thing, however we must share our attention and enjoy what is here now as well... I for one do not want to wake up one day, older but not wiser having lost so much time immersed in waiting... I want to be a doer and an experiencer too! :) How can you enjoy life if all that is done is focus on its being destroyed any day now...

I will be doing the exact same thing I do now..creating art and living my life....no sense in having expectations or planning for the inevitable....and no sense in having expectations or planning for something that won't occur.

For me, it is a lot more simple just to be and act impeccably in a given scenario when it presents itself....being fluid in other words. Ahh! so finally we are here! And at Avalon of course! You see? All you and what you do ARE the change! Your intent to make the world a better place no matter what happens IS the shift! This thread really goes to show what the folks of Avalon are made of -- you all are made of change and that is what the shift IS! It's about the tiny changes each individual does to make this world a better place, and when you add those changes up, a heavenly existence is well within reach, but it is us who makes the shift, not the "shift" that changes us. This is very important to know and the responses on this thread whether conscious or not are very telling that you all are in the shift - whether through intent or action already!

Thanks all for being a part of this happening ... and, if my experiences and learning are indicative ... there will be some grand surprises waiting for us on the other side of the shift - but how far we go is up to us - and our belief or understanding of reality - how far it will expand within the next few years. It is all up to us to create the shift - it cannot happen without our intent - hence why TPTB are trying to keep you down! It depends on what you mean by "prepared".

I, for one - and I have explained this in a previous post, I don't remember the thread - do not believe in "2012". Never did.
Like I said in that other thread, if anything momentous, of a kind not seen so far in human history, does happen, it will be a consequence of so many people's mental and emotional investment in it.

Yet I take good care to grow the seed of my personal "heaven" into a majestic garden of Eden every single day of my life. Always have.
I don't mean this as an overextended metaphor for the practicalities of daily life (although I do not neglect them), in the sense of "chop wood, carry water", as noble as they are in themselves.
No, I mean, quite literally, the "heaven" that each one of us is preparing - or failing to do so - from within. The glorious interior landscapes and their gradual exteriorisation.
It is a personal path, as everyone's path should be, in my opinion.

So, I think what's dangerous is to await the Deus ex machina, or to count on a physical date to bring on some sort of collective blossoming.
We are Deus, each one of us: his sight, his hearing, his touch, his Heart.
And we are, whether we want it or not, the machinae of our own individual "salvation" or "doom".

In other words, I am (getting) as ready as I ever will be. "2012" has nothing to do with it.
It is path that I embraced long before I ever heard about it.
I am sure the same is true of many others.

As always, Avalon members seem to have a general opinion I totally agree with, I also have the feeling that things are already drastically changing.
I've seen my own awakening, and I'm seeing the same happpening to others. When I was talking about the stuff we talk about here one year ago to people, most were looking at me as if I was some crazy person, today they're open to this kind of stuff even if they still have difficulties with it, next year they'll agree.

I believe that the 2012 stuff has something to do with consciousness, if I'm right about that, there probably won't be anything to see on 21/12/2012, since consciousness is something we can't see.
Even if this date was the day of the tipping point in global human consciousness, we still wouldn't see a thing.
I think this is an ongoing process.
