I joined this community in order to facilitate the various spiritual paths that we seekers find ourselves on by virtue of an informational nexus. I am personally seeking to both give and receive ideas between like-minded individuals. I have been a student of the metaphysical since long before my present bodily incarnation, and am what some people call, one of the "crystal children". Through the advent of self-discovery, observation, intuition, guidance, and psychedelics I have outgrown the shackles of "autism" that once plagued me as a child. It is my desire to assist those that struggle along similar paths. I should point out my belief of autism, that autistic savantist individuals are merely humans who refuse to be as spiritually broken as the rest of humanity, in that the seemingly esoteric abilities they are capable of are unknowingly available to all humans and that it is the contextualization and schematization of mind that facilitates this. This vast difference in schematization between the austere and the rest of the population is what accounts for the frequent cognitive dissonance or misunderstanding between these individuals. If someone has told you that you have "aspergers" or "schizophrenia" or "bipolar disorder/manic depression" or WHATEVER, then know that your "condition" (state of mind) is not a curse, but a blessing. Our greatest challenge is in channeling the medium in which we seek to express our perspective, and this can be variable as much as it can be universal. The challenge, at it's core, is an articulatory challenge. If we can master the expression of our formless thoughts into language, visual and auditory art, perceptual art (magic [all power is illusive, magic is the illusion of control and therefore a cosmic satire of valid metaphysical truths]), dance, storytelling, and whatever else I haven't touched upon here, then we can do properly what we came here to do: herald the dawning of a new age.

If you found any of this interesting or if any questions have suddenly stricken you then do not hesitate to reply. I am here for you.

Interesting perspective, Rantaak, and what a nice location you must be living in! I used to live in the redwoods in Northern California near the ocean, and miss them very much.
I have posted some information over the years on this forum about vaccines, which are and have been the cause of many woes for many years.
Now, of course, the controversy surrounding vaccines is mainly about autism.
Perhaps a different form of autism than what you are referring to, since it does not seem to create savants, just the very severely dysfunctional.

When I was a child in the 50s, one strain of the polio vaccine, known as the SV40, contained viruses from Rhesus Monkeys. It caused some children to become psychotic, and some sensitives like myself, early "Indigos" perhaps, were severely traumatized and shut down emotionally by it.
Later, when my generation hit our 40s, many died from cancer and lupus which seemed to be related to the SV40. Many survivors, like me, live on with CFS, fibromyalgia, arthritis, etc. I think I become somewhat bi-polar as well. as a result of the SV40.
It has been a struggle just to stay relatively grounded, and I have always had to work on staying healthy.
I don't know that I consider all that a "blessing", but it has certainly been a learning experience.

I had the pleasure and privilege of spending some time with a family with three "New Kids" for a couple of years, about 8 years ago.
The oldest was a very intensely emotional Indigo. He wants to be a psychiatrist. I could tell he was always seeing how dysfunctional the adults around him were, and was very frustrated.
The youngest named Sam, aged 5 at the time, is perhaps one of the newest categories, Rainbow Child, if this article is correct:

The one exhibiting the most Crystalline traits was sister Mary, who was 9
It was very interesting to observe their differences and interactions.
Sam was, as you described it-- "austere"-- in his manner, whereas Mary was very carefree.
Both were exquisitely sensitive, but had such different ways of expressing themselves.

Sam seemed to be in preparation for a mission he would embark on to correct the problems he saw in the world. He was always ahead of himself and everyone else, and would say the most extraordinarily wise things. A friend of mine who spent a lot of time with him said that he talked about past lives they had shared, though I was never witness to that myself.

Mary just wanted to enjoy herself, be a loving, creative, healing and free spirit.

I enjoyed their company and observing their different gifts so much.
