Looking forward to watching this tonight.

9pm BBC 3: 9/11: Conspiracy Road Trip

They're taking 'Conspiracy Theorists' on a trip around New York to give them the official version and hopefully 'cure' them.

I know a lot of you don't watch Mainstream Media but I love it. If you accept that it's programming the 'official story' in to people and watch it accordingly then it becomes quite funny. You can see how they twist and mis-represent things.

There's lots of 9/11 stuff on at the moment and lots about Bin Laden. Alex Jones even made it on to the BBC last weekend.

The things I'm looking forward to seeing is what kind of 'conspiracy theorists' they have. Will they choose normal articulate people who can question things and stand up for themselves or nutty people who dress funny and wear tin foil hats? Can't wait!

Charlie Veitch is one of the Conspiracy People. Wtf? Last week it was AJ and this week is Charlie. They aren't mentioning who he is at all. He's just in there with some members of the public. I'm thinking two are actors. That just leaves an over emotional chubster girl and an asian guy.

Charlie Veitch is a lot taller than I thought he was.

Update: Umm, Charlie seems to be the first one changing his mind. A demolition expert used lego to explain why the controlled demolition is wrong. Charlie said he'd been hanging around with conspiracy people so just believed it but now this guy showed him and he's not sure. Whaaaat?

Apparently he worked in a bank then joined the TA to become an Officer but just before Sandhurst he suddenly got into 9/11 and Truth so dropped out. Methinks just before he went MI5 took him in to a side room.

Update 2: Charlie is now officially on the other side. They just tested Thermite and he's saying there's no way a janitor would have not found it and called the police. Then he said, "What would the establishment have to gain?" He goes on to say that he had a question, the guy answered it and as a person who likes logic he's happy the planes caused the buildings to collapse after all.

Still no mention of the Love Police or any of the other YouTube stuff he's done.

Last update.

Charlie started out wearing German Army gear and a Bill Hicks tshirt. Then he totally changes his mind about 9/11 and now he's wearing a shirt. Filmed sitting totally apart from the group explaining something on tv about The Pentagon. Charlie has changed sides and is becoming a 'recovered teacher'.

I like how there's 19 guests and only one member reading this thread. Register you freeloading douches. =P

Anyway, I've seen enough so I'm turning it off. I assume it'll be on iPlayer at some point.

I've changed the title of this thread from 9/11: Conspiracy Road Trip BBC 3...

Mainly as I was =O when I saw him on it and the change he went through. Partly as by putting 9/11 in the thread title there are 23 guests and 0 Avalonians looking. Which I think is a good thing.

My final conclusion is that someone is building a Legend for Charlie so they can bring out a respectable face for the post 2012 truth movement. Having this documentary means they can show little bits of youtube stuff and concentrate mainly on his metamorphosis during the 'Conspiracy Road Trip'. Time will tell.

If you want to watch it, it's here BBC iPlayer - 9_11_Conspiracy_Road_Trip/ (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b014gpjx/9_11_Conspiracy_Road_Trip/)

Oh and btw, who are the elves that magically add tags to threads? Wtf is Eve and Cure about? Weirdoes. I thought only the thread starter and maybe mods could add tags. It's kinda like graffitti otherwise. Mentalists.

typical propoganda bs

Did you watch it?

Yes it was completely contrived and planned out to present specific views of 'conspiracy nuts' to the public. It also had lots of valuable information in it. How they are trying to portray truth seekers, the Charlie Veitch data, how they are arguing against claims by 9/11 researchers. All very valuable.

I don't think it's very healthy to totally ignore one kind of media and restrict yourself to another kind. Apart from the obvious, "Know your enemy" benefit there is something much deeper. If you think the Alternative Media is any less propoganda filled then you are very much mistaken.

Media is Media. It doesn't matter if it's George Bush or David Icke. Both are using the same tool to convince us of something and both earn their living from doing so. Both would also tell you to ignore other people's media/propoganda. This is how Cults are born.

All media is propoganda.

For example:

It's like this rediculous thing I see people saying about wanting to be more 'right brained'. "You're so left brained, I'm right brained."

I use all of my brain plus my heart.

If people actually bothered to go read the original works on this theory then they'd realise they're propogating a false understanding. But they don't. Why? Propoganda.

David Icke is the worst for it. He goes on about Left Brain this, Right Brain that. People don't look any further than the surface info he gives. He says it, they believe it and repeat it. That is propoganda bull **** right there. How many people who talk about being more 'right brained' have read Jung? Synchronicity, another Icke staple comes from Jung. People talk about that all the time but how many have read the original work?

A media person writes a book, makes a youtube video or stands on a stage and delivers data. People believe it without questioning it and start repeating it. That is propoganda. It doesn't matter whether it has the Mainstream or Alternative label attached to it.

When you add use of the word 'sheeple' and attack people who don't act the same as you, you have a religion called New Age. I believe it is a very old plan to gather up all the questioners of the world, the aware people who wouldn't subscribe to a religion and to create one for them. Many people within the Alternative Community act and think no differently from Fundamentalist Muslims but because they have the Alternative Badge and a different set of labels, they think they're superior.
