Earthquake in holland, nijmegen.

We had an light earthquake here, a few seconds ago, anyone in holland who felt it too????
Very strange, we don't have quakes here, it was a light one, and listeners on the radio had reported it as well.
Anyone else in holland who has noticed it ??

we are in witten, germany (Ruhr valley/ area) and had the same experience 10 min or so ago.
very strange, we don't normally have quakes in the region here. it was short and quite a light one, too....just 1-2 sec

Hi Dick,

Haven not noticed it. I was in Groningen at that time. 19:02:48.0 UTC.

Very unusual but maybe somehow in connection with Elenin? Tomorrow comet Elenin* is the nearest to earth and this particular comet has been in connection with some earth quakes in the recent past.

Good to see some fellow Dutchies here on PA BTW :cool:

it is said in the media, this quake from holland is felt in Brussels aswell
