On Bill Ryan's Elenin thread he talked about how the world is our mess and we are the ones who need to clean it up. It really got me thinking--- how can I make a difference? Do I really spread the message of love to people? Do I really try to help clean mother earth when no one is looking? Do I really take time with my grandson and explain to him why it is important to care for mother earth and why it's important to be nice to people and animals? Do I take the time to call my drug addicted brother and tell him I love you instead of ignoring him and his lifestyle ? Do I tell my first nephew who's gone through a bad divorce if you need help or someone to listen to you I'm there for you? When I walk into a store and a person looks me in the eye do I give a smile and say "how you doing?" or do I walk on by ? I can sit here all day long and talk about if E.T's exist or is there life on Mars or how bad our world is. That's easy stuff. The cleaning up of the world starts with saying I love you and how you doing and do you need some help and telling your grandson why it's important to pick up that plastic sack someone threw down. Your right Mr Ryan the world is our mess so I better get busy don't you think?

I heard a saying years ago by the owner of the philidelphia seventy sixers, IF IT'S TO BE, IT'S UP TO ME. that has stuck withe me. ring ring.. we can't wait on someone else, or official disclosure, or real nasa information, If the world is to change , it's up to us to change it.... some steps could be helpful, what do all of you think ?? information should be free, and making false statemnts on pupose to keep secrets should be the most punished crime, carrying a brand on the person doing it FOR LIFE. make it that the entire planet would have nothing to do with a liar. Secondly get rid of the levels of secrecy, if the truth shall me you free, then a LIE will make you a prisoner.

Hey Bro,
How are you? From your previous posts, I know that you're on the right track. It is all the "little" things that you have written about that are going to make a real difference on this planet, and you have your priorities sorted well.
Actually, the "little" things are not little at all, they are in fact of monumental importance. And never mind about no one looking, because there is always someone watching our every move, and every act of kindness, seen or unseen, is cause for celebration.
Best Wishes,
Tony.

I need to change but does the world?
Depends on the perspective
From an advanced spiritual perspective the world is perfect for spiritual growth.
It gives every opportunity to show compassion-- many opportunities to forgive, many hardships to overcome, many situations where I can be less selfish, many times my ego is reduced by situations out with my contol.
Famous story
A preacher was getting the sermon together-- his song wanting to play.
The preachers tore a page showing the map of the world out of a magazine, tore it into small pieces and said.
When you get the map put together I will play with you.
The boy was back in minutes withe map accurately put together.
The father mystified said How did you manage to do that so quickly?
Son said There was a picture of a man on the other side-- when I got the man right the world came right.
Not when I got the world or others right but when the man came right.
If everyone got them selves right the world would be right.
Every spiritual teacher will say its not about the other its about self becoming Self.
When enlightenment happens we leave this world to go to other realms for other challenges and growth.
Each time enlightenment happens it makes it easier for the next one and also raises the collective consciousness and makes life here easier for all others.
Tis world is the perfect university for personal growth and collective evolution of consciousness.
There was a time I wanted to sort others problems but was in avoidance of my own.
With a little improvement I was no longer angry and contaminating others lives with my frustration at not getting things my way.
With out the challenges of relationships I had, there would have been little growth.
Calm water does not a sailor make.
Best wishes

Great post truth4me, I absolutely hear what you're saying :)
If more people made an effort to put into practice the very basic steps you mentioned in your OP on a daily basis it would make a huge difference to the state of affairs on this planet.
At the very least it would be a good start and a significant step in the right direction.
Unfortunately it seems some people are just not ready yet to take that step... but we can show them the way!
It's up to us to lead by example.
You CAN make a difference, day by day, person by person, situation by situation.
Ultimately each individual must decide for themselves whether they're going to be proactive about such things i.e. "being the change they want to see" or if they're going to sit back and wait for others to do it for them.
The choice is ours and IMO it would be foolish to procrastinate given the life and times we are currently living in.
It's time to stand up and be counted... time to make a difference... time to change... THE TIME IS NOW!!!

Here at my home, just as this thread was started, my friend playdo and I, along with my wife and daughter and son, have had a Reiki circle intended solely for the benefit for the earth and mankind.
The invocation I used:
"We rejoice in the love, light and unity of the one infinite creator. We give thanks for the peace, protection, and mercy channeled through us this morning. We invite any angels, deities, spirit guides and ascended masters who are of positive polarity and of the path of service to others to please be here now. We call Raphael to the East, Michael to the South, Gabriel to the West, Uriel to the North, Father Above, Mother Below, and Child Within. Thank you for bringing peace to this Earth and allowing Truth to reign free on this planet."
With this invocation, the five of us allowed the Source to then pour upon us and we joined the energy together to grow in Unity, and when the energy leveled off we then poured it all into the earth.
It is my wish that the blessing we invoked for the Earth this morning reach every seeker of truth and every one who is in service to the divine in this time and place. In the words of Tiny Tim "and God bless us, every one." It is a fact that just a few people who aspire to be goldy in these fallen times, just a few people actively seeking righteousness living in a region are enough to prevent the cataclysmic earth changes and one person who is firm in their consciousness of the peace and love of the infinite has the greatest coherence in consciousness and such a one will influence everyone for many miles around, an entrainment occurs in consciousness and all are influenced toward peace and love so long as we are holding onto that ourselves.
Love to you all!

It used to bother me that I could not make a difference or at least much of one in other peoples lives till I read in several books about the power of spiritual intention and the proof that it does make positive difference.
Every thought word or deed is either life supporting or otherwise
So if if my intention is to be kind to all life including my own and endeavoring to aligning my will to the will of God, I am positively lifting the spiritual energy and situation of all. A rising tide lifts all boats.
I am by that intention and being kind as best I can---- actually doing something tangible.
I am not oblivious and iniferent or in avoidence I am contributing.
There is nothing but atoms in movement nothing but energy and in raising that frequency I and many others are benefiting mankind in ways we will never know.
It could something simple like having second thoughts before dropping litter and binning it instead.
It might be being moved to donate blood or money.
The thought comes from some where--- the higher the vibration the more life supporting the thought.
The thought precedes the action.
This is not woo woo or love and light--- its practical it works,

G'day truth4me,
I have lived my life truthfully to myself and I have always advised others to do the same.
What I mean by this is "I say what I mean and I mean what I say".
Lead by way of example:
Years ago I had a bloke come up to me and thank me.
He pulled out an old photo he had in his wallet and it was of me.
I didn't remember the incident, or the photo being taken, but it turns out he was very down one day and on the verge of suicide. He had been diagnosed with HepC and everybody he knew had rejected him. He had spent something like 15 minutes at a bus stop with me and I have no bloody idea what I said or did but he said I was the reason he hadn't committed suicide. He had gone on to help others with HepC and said he always remembered my advice. Buggered if I know what it was (no I didn't ask) but it was nice to know that he had got something from it.
My point in relating this is that by simply being myself and listening to his needs I helped this bloke when he needed it. I have done the same thing for many people and have no idea if I've helped others or not.
Yeah, I walk down the street and smile at people. I'm one of those annoying bastards who says g'day to all and sundry. I'm nothing special, no guru or whatever and I certainly don't talk "spiritual". I listen and if it's appropriate I console. I have known lots of "spiritual" people who preach their version of truth and I have no problem with that. It's just their thing I guess.
As for fixing the planet.
Go do some wwoofing. Learn Permaculture (or something similar) and teach people how to live by way of example. It's not rocket science. Just common sense. The more people see alternatives the more it gets into their consciousness that there are alternatives. Don't wait for free energy devices, rapture/ascension or some form of alien intervention. Just look at yourself, see if you like yourself, and change what needs changing in you. Then look at where you live and make small changes. Chat with people about non-conspiracy related things like gardening and/or maybe get involved in a food co-op. I'm not saying don't be interested in what is happening around the world. Rather I'm saying the only control anyone can have on you is the control you give them. So don't.
I hope this has been helpful and that more people learn to laugh.
Kind Regards, :yo:

The reason our world is corrupted is because our internal worlds are corrupted and the external is a reflection of the internal.
This is why they say ''Be yourself the change you want to see'' for if we ourselves change, that around us will too.
Then, add in the law of attraction and it all just explodes.
I have changed a lot in the past few years and now I am here, amongst people I would not have valued before.

Thank you so much for the reminder.
I seem to find myself saying this over and over again from time to time.
But everytime I forget and get cought up in my ego that wants to flee from those moments and dream of salvation. A better future. Those articles that need reading. That one more vid that needs watching. Etc etc...

If you drop a pebble of love in the "pond" that surrounds you, everyone in your immediate surroundings is affected.
If you then only focus on the bear on the opposite side of the pond, you might just miss the repercussions of the ripple.

That is exactly how you change it, by your words, actions and consciousness for humanity.
