Very interesting. This confirms the suspicions of many. It's hard to imagine any government ever effectively investigating these people or holding them to account.

It's very technical (what can be expected when looking at elite financial manipulations) but is a well researched and presented paper (http://arxiv.org/abs/1107.5728).
Not to mention excellent evidence for saying "I told you so".
