Hi astrid!

Beautiful dog in your profile, just had to put my lifecompanion a shorthaired collie named Pajazzo to rest from 3D but he's already far away in the higher dimensions. Anyway at the moment i'm reading "The Source Field Investigations" by David Wilcock which has hit selling topscores! Wish i could be at the confrence, i have followed most of the lectureres on the net.

Wow. I see the cost of Free information is going up. I don't see a disclaimer on that site that warrants how they can charge such scandalous prices. This has got to be aimed at the middle class, for most working class are struggling to get enough money to put food on the table.

How about having all of these Seminars free? At least until one of them can back up such claims.

I think it is unfair to expect people to give you their time and energy for free, we all need to eat.
You wouldn't expect a tradesman or professional to work for free and you wouldn't like to work for free yourself, would you?
A fair exchange of energies is the only honourable way.
If you don't consider the pricing fair, then that is your opinion.

Hi.
I know many tradesman & professionals who work for Free & fight the government & the courts etc head-on on a daily bases. Myself for one.
A tradesman is a time served profession, ie its a job.
Repeating Free information that has been harvested from every Tom, Dick or Harry from here & there & then wrapping it up in some tinsel & then throw in some channeled dream is not a job.

Like i said.

From the sounds of it, you don't see the value in what they have to say, so what is the issue?
I have done a lot of stuff for free myself.
I just did a 7300km round trip to get someone out of jail, so I am not talking out of my hat.
I don't even have a hat. ;)

Why has it? The vast majority of the presented information is online and sooner or later the conference will probably be available online for free, too.

I figure these types of conferences are for financially well situated folks (add the cost of transportation and lodging), who got enough free time on their hands and who would like to support the work of all the people attending at the conference and see them live and meet like minded. It's like going to a concert instead of listening to a CD with the difference, that the "CDs" are for free in this case.

while i see both points of view i understand what sidious is saying we cant expect these people to pay for the venues out of their own pockets i feel its fair to ask a fee especially as the cost of living is high....i will wait it will be on you tube real soon FOR FREE

Most of these folks DO GIVE their knowledge away free..... it is on the internet! For them to get together in a conference and charge a fee seems more than fair. If ya want to see all of us together, collaborating and sharing ideas, can you cough up a fee, since we give everything else away for free. Wish I could attend, but I have been hit by the economy.

Consider going to a rock concert (orchestra or whatever).

Not cheap these days ... and most often available on youtube not long thereafter.

Energetic exchange showing appreciation for what they are bringing to your life. Consider also the people you might meet while attending, the energy and excitement you feel and the memories you create.

Been making posts to the "classic rock" thread which has brought back a treasure trove of memories of concerts gone by. People I was with ... places I traveled to. While you can capture the essense of music or information with youtube it certainly is not the same.

Anyway ... if those bringing forth this information were subjected to the "9 to 5 grind" then how much energy do you think they would have left to contribute to the information flow??? I expect we would not have heard of many of them.

IMHO

It's not just the information though is it? There's also the venue to pay for etc. and we're talking a two day event at $125. At a recent Dolly Parton concert one of my work colleagues paid £185 for one ticket at the 02 arena - and it wasn't even one of the best seats either!

Come on peoples, wake up.

One of the most basic universal laws is that of giving and taking.
Those that just want to take, might just notice that they are lacking somewhat in the abundance stakes.
There has to be an equal exchange of energy for things to flow freely, its how the universe is built.

I get so tired of this argument.

This is a thread letting people know of the upcoming conference.
If you are interested great, if not then there is nothing to see here.

These events are VERY EXPENSIVE to put on, i know that Kerry has put everything on the line for this one.
And for who?

For us!!

The exciting part of this event is that those that cant travel are going to be able to take part in the LIVESTREAM.
I for one, being in AUS think that's pretty fking awesome.

how much does the stream cost?

$25 dollars a day. That's about half the cost if you purchase the stream for yourself. The other advantage of these grassroots events is that you get a chance to network among like-minded people from the surrounding neighborhoods and cities.

If Ottawa is too far you can check out awakeandaware2011.com and see if there's another venue near you.

I merged the thread for the Ottawa, Canada Live Streaming Event with the main thread for this Awake & Aware 2011 Conference.

However, I left a link behind, for the next week, so that people can find this via either thread title.

From DW's website:

Kozyrev’s experiments began in the 1950s and were conducted since the 1970s with the ongoing assistance of Dr. V.V. Nasonov, who helped to standardize the laboratory methods and the statistical analysis of the results. It is important to remember that these experiments were conducted under the strictest conditions, repeated in hundreds or in many cases thousands of trials, and were written about in extensive mathematical detail. They have been rigorously peer-reviewed, and Lavrentyev and others have replicated the results independently. we said that matter behaved somewhat like a sponge in water. If we do something to disturb the structure of the sponge, such as to squeeze it, spin it or vibrate it, then it will release some of its water back into its environment. Over the years, all of the following processes were discovered to create a “time flow” of torsion waves in the laboratory, due to their disruption of matter in some form:

* the deforming of a physical object
* the encounter of an air jet with an obstacle
* the operation of an hourglass filled with sand
* the absorption of light
* friction
* burning
* the actions of an observer, such as a movement of the head
* the heating or cooling of an object
* phase transitions in substances (frozen to liquid, liquid to vapor, etc.)**
* dissolving and mixing substances**
* the fading death of plants
* non-light radiation from astronomical objects
* sudden changes in human consciousness

**Human body chemical changes/shifts

You can see how the human has 4 different things that, in an intelligent and connected person, can be done together, for a radically more powerful effect. All connected.

To return to the title of the thread and it's subject: What does 'awake and aware' mean? Consider.

When I can afford to pay, usually I do, without changing the expression on my face or getting weird about it. Sometimes I'll even overpay.

If I can't, then I may try another way.

What Carmody quoted comes from Section "1.6 MASTER LIST OF PHENOMENA THAT CREATE KOZYREV’S EFFECTS" of this paper.

I would love to be able to go there. The amount of whistleblowers in one place and a chance to possibly mingle with them. Get a chance to feel their energy. I'd gladly make a trip of this if I could. I can't make any streaming events. I don't think there are any here where I live. I'm sure the rest of us will be able to catch the vids afterwards. These conventions are expensive to put on. I've been involved with putting on conventions before. The little costs are maddening.

I don't expect these speakers to spend their own money to come and present.

I am a teacher supporting four other people and times are tough for everyone. I couldn't go last year, but I planned, made a budget and saved for one year to go this year.

It is the same for those who drink, smoke, go to the gym, shop or take a holiday or vacation. With enough planning and saving with time considered, we can manage to do what is most important to us. This is my first vacation in years.

Everything in this ''life'' costs you something, the question is, are you prepared to ''pay'' for whatever it is that you think you ''want?''

I realize it takes a lot to book a convention center and all of the speakers but somehow I wish we could have an event like this that only cost about 15.00 or so. The fee for attending this limits it only to those who can afford the high cost of attending. If you don't live in LA then you have lodging as well. I dig project avalon and the AALA conference and at least we can see all of the lectures on youtube later.

Today in Costco I saw people paying close to a thousand dollars for a new flat screen TV. The Awake and Aware Conference seems a better deal............

I was simply asking if the videos would be posted online for free afterwards as they were for the 2009 conference. I don't live anywhere near Los Angeles. Dont get me wrong but if the A&A conference (or any conference that Bill or Kerry was hosting) were to be closer to me I'd gladly pay a few hundred dollars to be there in person, taking in the vibe, and meeting people face to face (well worth it). However, it would cost me much more to fly to LA and pay for lodging (on top of tix not to mention food). I'm hoping the videos will be available online for free in the coming days / weeks so that anyone who couldn't make it can enjoy it after-the-fact. Paying for something after-the-fact is completely different than paying for something live and in person, especiallly when it was offered for free previously.

Because I was unable to attend in person, what I would like is a video stream where they charge for a few weeks (I don't mind paying) and after that, free videos posted online.
