I need the Village to help me.
Let's see if this works.
As you know, since coming to Barbados in October I have hardly posted due to an Internet problem at my apartment.
Then this last week, while cat sitting at my son's house, I have had high speed Internet and been able to visit the village
just like I do when I'm at home in Costa Rica.

In about an hour from now the family are returning and I have to go back to my apartment
with the connection problem...
The defective modem is upstairs in my landlady's house.
Since she only uses her computer for e-mails the slow connection doesn't bother her.
Yet I would like her to get a new modem.
I don't want to move out of there, as I'm otherwise really happy ...I have a great deal, rent wise..great location, etc.
The only thing that is bumming me is the slow Internet. I can hardly watch a Youtube even at 240 without it constantly cutting out.
I'd love to know what our collective good wishes can do to bring about a happy resolution.
Right now other than repeating yet again that I think her modem is too old, there is little else I can do.
So lets have a demo of mind over matter.
Please, please?

So ... how much is a new modem? Maybe it would be worth it to you to pay for a new modem for her or get your own modem ...

To get my own modem I would need my own account, and that is a bit costly since I'm not here all the time.
But I could offer to go 50/50 on a new modem, if I can just get her to agree that it is a problem.
I know she has it within her to get a new one. Maybe if the current one packs up altogether first....
I'm back now, and so far no crashed. I'll keep you updated.

I can't wait for my son to pack the boys onto a plane and bring them to Costa Rica.
They are being raised bilingually as the other grandmother is Venezuelan married to a Barbadian...an unusual match.
Barbados s totally English speaking, normally.
As fate would have it these little island boys are already being prepared for a life in an eco village in the mountains of Costa Rica.
Same as all the other villagers here, whom I would advise to learn Spanish...

Lisa, I saw you got the descriptions. Sorry it took me awhile to respond. It really does help to read about the vibrations of each plant. The essence vibrations enter your bodies (energy bodies and physical body) and cause any imbalances to come into balance. Picking the right essence is essential. This village has become like a family. Weird stuff happens here all the time.
Like, earlier today, I mentioned that I needed help with my Internet connection speed.
And guess what?
Like a headache that fades away, and one doesn't even notice it's gone...
same way my connection speed is back to normal, and I didn't even notice.
I have been here for three weeks, and this afternoon I watched the "Creed" video that Calz had posted
and it didn't even cut out one single time.
I don't know which of you did this, but I thank you all anyway.
Then I packed my beach bag and drove down to the Beach Club, and swam 10 lapse in the pool. The sea is very rough today.
There is a coast guard boat parked right in front...
It's also raining now.
I brought my laptop just in case, and again, surprise!...
I have wi-fi Internet here...and high speed.
I have to be the luckiest girl in the world. Who wants to come and join me for a week?

For me a good business head means working enough to pay my bills and have some play and save money and stay out of debt. All else takes too much time away from enjoying this sensuous jewel of a planet. I use money but have no love for it. So, it sounds like you have a good business head to me.

If the taxman is happy you must be making something, or else he wouldn't even know you exist.
With Saturn in the mix I'd say your problem is pessimism.
And maybe even some cynicism. Once you learn to turn every cynical negative thought into hopeful optimism you'll do much better.
I know, easier said, than done.

One more thing...it is not really idleness or laziness in your case.
It comes from an internal voice which repeats "What's the point?"
Because you can see so far down the road that even the joyful moments in your projected future dissolve into distant memories.

Just home from work at 3 PM. I took off a bit early, need some R&R... feels delicious to be home at this hour with nothing planned but relaxing and taking care of myself for a while.

This morning the skies were dark and ominous. It rained all morning. When I left the building to come home, there was some blue sky peeking through clouds. As I drove home, my sky view became filled with those clouds that have bright light behind them, brilliant edges with dark in the middle. As I turned up the mountain road, all I could see was blue sky with a few wispy clouds reaching down into the treetops.

The air after a storm is so clear and clean, and the healing sun shines like brand new.

We can all speak and be misunderstood by our words, so it behooves each of us to be more careful than ever when we speak, here and now. It's nor about who wins or who loses, here and now and everywhere, but that we should all win or none of us really does. I've got a gallon of Dr. Willard's Catalyst Altered Water Concentrate sitting beside me, to remind me to tell Sierra that it's a good source of sulfates. It is a really good mineral supplement to add to water after distillation or reverse osmosis. Epsom salt soaks are a good source too, of both magnesium and sulfates. I guess that's because Epsom salts *is* magnesium sulfate.

The front panel is off my main computer sitting beside me, as I am fixing to upgrade the CPU and Memory, so I can run some simulations of Paul LaViolette's subquantum kinetics Model G.

Yesterday I disconnected the garden hose from the water main, as I do each winter, so it won't freeze and break something.

Right now I'm sipping back on a nice cold beer and reflecting on a hard hard day's work that has just passed. My colleague and I were out in truck all day removing furniture and building supplies out of modest homes and lavish log-cabins, all of which multiple stories, so maneuvering down the numerous staircases proved challenging at best. Apart from the everyday grind, excitement levels are at an all time high, the two mountains that overlook my house are set to open sometime within the next fortnight. Tomorrow I will purchase a season pass which entitles me to half a year of fun and bliss over the countless acres of rideable terrain, snowboarding's the name and the fun's the game.

Whilst situated up here in the peaks I get a chance to really appreciate life and the beauty of mother Earth for what it really is, for that I am forever grateful.

Oh thank you Paul :hug:, I'll look it up. I finished the Dr. Mercola/ Dr. Seneff interview transcript and it sounds as if sulphates might make a HUGE difference to me. When a theory hits a cluster of diseases in a family line, you sit up and pay attention. Now I'm ready to watch the interview for the meta communication.

I'm in wintertime mode, I wake up leaking tears at 5:00 am, stumble off to the kitchen for some MSM, make my coffee, take it back to the bedroom, open the curtain, crank on the infrared lamp, settle back in bed with my laptop, stare out and wait for the birdies ... and gradually become human again. In a few hours I feel "normal" and I'm my usual virtual cheery self.

I already do the Epsom salts ... my husband boiled some eggs and I thought I'd eat some but, ugh, he likes soft boiled hard boiled eggs. He has left for four days of work and I've sent all his eggs away with him.

It is after 8:00 PM now and I have the door open to the garden. My evening medicine is rolled and I can't light it because I am skyping on three channels, and tap tapping away here :)

I was a sannyassin from 1981 to 1990. Some splendid heady, hearty days. Unfortunately it became very cultish when Osho effectively handed over the 'reins' to Sheela, his right hand person. From my perspective, regarding all the joking and bantering that went on here: Everyone involved gave it as good as they got it.

I have to admit that, sometimes, what was considered fun here was a bit cringe-making for me: Gender wars? Being cannibalised? Putting a person through a meat-grinder?

Dawn, I'm most certainly not having a go at you-- but these thoughts immediately came to mind after reading the moderators' conclusion to the recent events here:

- Why the need to ban a person from a thread when they'd already made it clear that they were not returning to it? Is that not only adding insult to injury?

- And if Heyoka's bantering and joking was so "disruptive" and "annoying", why hadn't anyone pulled him up on it much, much earlier? All the joking went on for quite a while-- even Sierra was a part of it. Surely, if it was such a problem, she could've called him up on it then! Stating it as a problem now is a bit "after the fact", is it not?
(I'm also not having a dig at you, Sierra-- but just saying it as I see it.)

By Ulli's own admission, she pushed the envelope. And Tony pushed that envelope back. Maybe, there's a lesson in there for both to reflect on; that is for them to figure and sort out between themselves. But, if the moderators really felt that they needed to intervene and pass judgement on one in this story, then surely it's only fair to do the same to other, too, no? After all, it took two hands to clap.

The way I see it, this thread became a place where people engaged in some fun and let off steam. I'd even say that the dynamics and the shenanigans between all the fun-makers here is a big reason why this thread's view count is as high as it is. I know I dropped by here every so often just for a giggle.

But wow! What a turn of events!

From my perspective, regarding all the joking and bantering that went on here: Everyone involved gave it as good as they got it.

I have to admit that, sometimes, what was considered fun here was a bit cringe-making for me: Gender wars? Being cannibalised? Putting a person through a meat-grinder?
Yeaugh! But that's just me.

Dawn, I'm most certainly not having a go at you-- but these thoughts immediately came to mind after reading the moderators' conclusion to the recent events here:

- Why the need to ban a person from a thread when they'd already made it clear that they were not returning to it? Is that not only adding insult to injury?

- And if Heyoka's bantering and joking was so "disruptive" and "annoying", why hadn't anyone pulled him up on it much, much earlier? All the joking went on for quite a while-- even Sierra was a part of it. Surely, if it was such a problem, she could've called him up on it then! Stating it as a problem now is a bit "after the fact", is it not?
(I'm also not having a dig at you, Sierra-- but just saying it as I see it.)

By Ulli's own admission, she pushed the envelope. And Tony pushed that envelope back. Maybe, there's a lesson in there for both to reflect on; that is for them to figure and sort out between themselves. But, if the moderators really felt that they needed to intervene and pass judgement on one in this story, then surely it's only fair to do the same to other, too, no? After all, it took two hands to clap.

I don't know-- will I get sent on a holiday, or banned from this thread for expressing my thoughts? Are we really that fragile as a community that we are unable to communicate our thoughts and opinions which go past the comfortable and the happy-clappy hahas and heehee's...?

I must speak to this, and leave it to the mods to clear this up. I was in contact with ulli and tony over the course of the day through pm, and I am of the understanding that it was what was said through pm that has brought about his vacation and his being banned from the village. I've been torn between the two of them today, for I truly wished to see a positive resolution to all of the theatrics of today, which now I see is not to be.

Please, moderators, clear this up, for future levity in this thread may well be crushed for fear of being "too annoying or disruptive in posting" or whatever the reason was. As Ruby says, I should be ready to accept my vacation, and calz and ulli and a couple of moderators to boot, not just for what we posted today, but all along. It seems clear to me that the public stuff was fun and games, and what happened in private was the real problem, and that was just in the last day.

I know the moderators and OP are of the same mind of tony being banned from future posting in the village, but I would like to see the door left open for reconciliation between who I know are two great people, people I care about.

I also felt like leaving this thread feeling "split" btw my Neptunian and Plutonic/Saturnian personality. I can be extremely sensitive and was repelled by many of the joking posts, at the same time i can dig up the "Liliane the Reptilian" side but feel sick after that.

After reading your reply, I did go back to read the posts again --to try to view and understand the situation from a different angle-- but saw that Heyoka's posts has now been scrubbed away. There was, then, no point for me to trawl back as the situation's now done and dusted, whether anyone agrees or disagrees with the final decision.

I have my own opinions about whitewashing and scrubbing away things that we deem uncomfortable. Sometimes, those reminders serve as a useful lesson and a marker of our processes of evolving as a community. But that's only my opinion.

I'll do my best to shed some light now.

Those who know me also know that I don't confront anyone, nor play games, nor need to wear a mask.
This is not by accident, but the outcome of a carefully constructed belief system. I also have a mild form of Aspergers syndrome.

So why did I take on a mask, and play the "queen" game? And why for so long?
As OP of this thread I was quite aware of what I was trying to do here, and would notice when posts went off-topic.

I admit, I allowed myself to do it a few times even before Tony came in and started bantering with Junebug.
The point is that Tony NOT ONCE posted a single post that I considered on-topic. I was not sure how to handle such a situation, and since there was a lot of humor I let it ride. I admit I was mixed up, partly irritated and partly entertained. An impasse situation. What Gestalt founder Fritz Perls called the "sh*t, or get off the pot' conflict.

The reality of this thread was about the Power of Now.
Yet a polarity situation came about through distraction and deflection. Male-female bantering, which became a masked ball.

Quite a few here are familiar with Eckhart Tolle's book, the Power of Now, although he is not the only one who has discovered the power of being in the present.

But there are those who do wear masks, and deliberately try to shift things from their original path, on purpose, for whatever reason.
The conscious reason would be if someone worked for an elite agency, in deep secrecy, and getting a salary to disrupt threads. But I'm not going there now. Scary thought.
Here is the other reason:
Most of us carry unresolved issues from our childhood, and those issues press on the membrane of our conscious minds.
More people carry far more issues to do with their mothers, than their fathers. Women as well as men.
With some people all of their early family life was dysfunctional.
On the whole, unless a father was downright abusive or totally absent, father issues don't cause as much neurosis as mother issues do.
Which gives men a head start in the world, image wise. There is less unconscious resentment towards them.
It is my belief that is also the reason why women are treated with disrespect far more often than men.

What happened here was about that disrespect. Several women felt it. I tried to keep the Here and Now show going, then formed a village as a form of bolstering that agenda.
Enter Tony and the Heyoka Show.
Not once did he post about his here and now reality. Ok, I could live with that, but he went further and further, pushing the envelope long before I pushed it back at him, which I did with my Saturn as the cause of cynicism remark.
That was what triggered him to drop his mask.
Behind that mask was a very, very angry man who poured an incredible amount of unjustified hate over me in a private message.
I don't come here to be abused. I gave up my former victim role ages ago, and it took me years to rebuild my self esteem after two abusive marriages.
I just want to heal and be healed so that that real Creativity which is everyone's birthright, can flow in a healthy way.
I need help with an incredible migraine.
I'm sure there are plenty of you you are thinking now that Tony is the only one who needs to be healed..

Because I always have old issues coming to the surface I am begining to suspect I am the one who puts Mercury in Retrograde. Rather than Mecury going retrograde and causing past issues to come the surface.

In that case its not really retrograde, Mercury is just attempting to back pedal away from me as fast as possible and taking the rest of you with it.

I find on the whole people are either too consistent in their assertiveness, or don't assert themselves often enough which then leaves them feeling powerless.

Because I always have old issues coming to the surface I am begining to suspect I am the one who puts Mercury in Retrograde. Rather than Mecury going retrograde and causing past issues to come the surface.

It really is an amazing feeling and mental state, isn't it?

Sitting in the little trailer I now call home, with my feet on the warm polished granite stone under the desk I share with my mate. It is cold and crispy this morning and the coastal fog has not burned away yet, so the sky I see through the window is soft and gray. Listening to the sounds of cars rushing past on the nearby freeway make swishing noises every few minutes. The electric wind chime adds it's sweet notes to softly caress my ears every few minutes.

In the background, the soft harmonious tones of Liquid mind playing through the computer speakers, while beside me my mate uses his Dremel tool to cut the delicate shapes of the LED healing devices we sell.... Now he is using a file and the soft sounds of his work fill the air.

I am a little sore and stiff today. My hands on the keyboard are wrinkled and spotted with age. I am sad to find my body growing into the aging program. I have no 'get up and go' in the moment and it feel nice to relax and share my simple life in this way.

I am glad there was a problem that needed moderator attention a couple of days ago here. Otherwise I might not have found out how sweet this thread is.

My Fleaman actually caught a bird once.
There was a baby magpie that had landed in the backyard of the place I was staying and it couldn't take off again, it was too weak.
Anyways, it was out in the yard for a day and a half.
I went out in the morning to check up on the bird and it was still there, running around, trying every now and then to take off.
Fleaman somehow got out and came running up to me.
He saw the bird and went straight at it and got his pay onto the little magpies back.
I yelled at him ''FLEAMAN! NO! IN THE HOUSE!''
He took off, leaving the bird and flew into the house.
The little bird was fine and flew away that afternoon with all the other magpies that had turned up to watch over it.

Sweet Ulli, thank you for the personal welcome. My life started all over again 2 months from my 60th birthday and it is very different today than It was for the majority of my life. Age 60, starting again. And sometimes, as in this moment there is both a deep joy and a sweet sadness. A joy without reason that is so deep that there is pain in the heart.

Soft clicking of my partner's keyboard. My desk isn't even that really ... it is a small corner of a workbench next to him. Liquid Mind music is so amazing... just long tones that make me wish to expand and expand even more. The heater feels really good at my back and I've taken off my top to enjoy the cold air mixed with warm currents from the quartz heater. Finally the sun just came out at 11:25AM today... and there is a slight feeling of energy to do something. I think I will go exercise a bit...

Wowie :note: what a difference a day makes :note:. From the chaos of yesterday to the serene, thoughtful, 'gently' humorous village today. What a way to start 11 11 11! Avalonians just continue to blow me away and I thank you all for so enriching my life.
Here and now, it is early morning here in Oz. I woke up at dawn with the same excited feeling I have been having for a week or so and had been wondering if it was to do with 11 11 11. I have also been vascillating wildly between thinking that it is 'good' day (of light and potential acceleration of awakening) or a 'bad' day ( a day when occultists may be doing rituals with bad intent)... or neither :) and did I want to participate in any official collective type meditations or rituals to hook into specific frequencies or the light thereof. I was having these thoughts yesterday while driving to town and turned my phone on when I arrived and guess what time it read................ go on guess :). That sort of thing never happens in my mundane 'lil life. Anyways, I ultimately decided that I will participate in 11 11 11... but just by meditating a bit more than usual. I could have decided this without all the long drawn out unessential mind acrobatics. Long and drawn out like this post is becoming!!! I'll shut up now :)

My husband is manic depressive. This is the first year in our 23 year marriage he has not come out of depression for a few months during the summer. Grim. For both of us. I just need to clarify for myself only, other men can make their own statement. I found the Guinness as very hot as a portrayal of scenes that do happen, frequently, on this planet and especially in Western 'culture'. I thought it was clever, even humorous, in its presentation of a scene that could not be shown in its entirety. It is not a fantasy of mine, anymore. That it ever was seems to have been through imagery put into my mind, perhaps. I have managed to remove such imagery and, with the growth of spirit and heart chakra development, now wish only the deepest of intimate tantric experience with one woman. My own energy needs the protection of such an arrangement. To not honor myself, as a man, and any woman would be very damaging to the vibrational stance I exist in.

I clarify this as a sort of idea to share and not in defense of what Ulli said. I did not take it personally and she is right where it applies. If it applies to none of the men here then I am positive she would be delighted in having made a statement that found no home. We would all be winners and the sacredness of Union would be on the mend here on Earth. Something very much needed.

Aaaaahhhhh. The energy round here is delicious again. Can you feel it? I feel like Ive just had a long hot soak in the old Epsoms. Thanks for your post to me Ulli. Assertiveness is a big problem of mine and also being self critical, just two of the negative personality traits that my flower lady picked up on. Her flower remedy for me was blended intuitively by her and its so spot on, its amazing. Ive got tooth ache and mouth ulcers now. I never get that. Bring on the new shiny me!!!

Myrrh gum placed against mouth ulcers will astringe (close/tighten up) and act as a bactericide helping the issue to resolve. I have an M.D. friend of mine who now uses this method and rues the fact that she cannot recommend it to her patients because it could threaten her license.

BTW, myrrh is not the most pleasant of tastes. This is an adult remedy.

Yes Ulli it's cool how this level of light is very contagious
You don't have to do anything to effect healings.
Just be present and everyone that is open to
recieve gets a dose, I have been noticing that
phenomena a bit lately since I have been fasting
the transmissions of light through me to others
has been very noticeable . Everyone in my " circle"
is doing great things right now .
It's an honor to be the vessel in service to
those that need it . I feel very priviledged .
It's the one time that " being used" is totally

I'm glad I took the fast and sleep option.
A friend of mine had a week on no food and no sleep.
And basically had a psychotic episode, well that s
my read of how he described it - and I have seen them
enough times to know what they are ....
Besides one of the main reasons to fast is to give your
body a rest from the energy expensive digestion
process . Then it can focus solely on healiings .
So i guess theoretically if You are already
well physically like I am, it then works on other
levels of healing and growth .

I can imagine why it's not that widely embraced
as a healing modality in this consumer driven,
big pharma lead, food addicted society
we have built ..
But there are a handful of doctors that do use it
in their practices with outstanding results .
It isn't an option for all illnesses though,
but the majority can see huge healiings.
Makes total sense when the body is so
designed to be able to heal itself, if it's
given the chance .

I have venus-moon-mars as a two degree conjunction. With the moon at 0.05 degrees or so, from being exactly between them.

This means I cannot lust for a woman unless I love her. Or vice versa. I cannot ignore such a conjunction, even if I tried.

The emotions are balanced between Mars and Venus, in cancer, to near perfection... trining Neptune in the first in scorpio... Which is why I can handle that 'other' work, the why of the name, it's meaning: 'that which shelters the door, and...that which pulls the smoke from the fire to expose the fire of the forge.' (two meanings)

So when I say I can enter the damaged soul which has died badly and is lost in the horror of their death..and cannot reach the light...that I can overlay them, comfort them, and bring them and this one, together.. to the correct state of being/vibration....and the light comes for them..and I am bounced back. And that I can endure, having conscious recall of being in the light, well..I hope that makes more sense now.
