Beautiful. Next words of wisdom: ‘Daddy, are we nearly there?’ No, we’ve just got out the driveway, only a few hundred miles to go :)

Just drive is not good enough, it means ‘fly like the wind’ (eaglespirit)!

I’m missing my son; he only lives twenty minutes away but we’ve only seen him twice since Christmas because of the crazy hours they make junior doctors do. I remember not getting home myself often enough – 2x14 hour journey including expensive car ferry. Call it karma if you like it. I put it down to the primitive transport system, totally unworthy of the 21st century. We have sophisticated cars that go slower than forty years ago, owing to congestion and tighter speeding regulations. I have family and friends all over the place and I don’t see nearly enough of any of them, mainly because I hate this kind of travelling, especially driving, and also because of this work ethic we have, which I shall describe as protestant, because I protest!!!

I just watered, and the babies are doing well considering. We started noticing that the leaves on some of the plants were turning white, but it wasn't powdery. When we asked at the local nursery, we found out the erratic weather was the cause. The plants don't know what to do when it is 80 degrees F for a few days, then 50 degrees F for a few days, waffling back and forth. So, this lady said to take gallon jugs like from milk or water and cut the top and bottom off, cover them with these. This will help keep the heat from the sun closer to the plants.

Well, we didn't have 15 empty plastic bottles laying around, haha, so we went to the dollar store looking for something (since this is a hometown remedy, this wouldn't be found at Lowe's haha). We found party bowls, about 12" in diameter, and cut off the bottoms. Sure enough, they fit perfectly. Only, now it sort of looks like we have those cones all over the beds that dogs wear after surgery. Actually, being yellow or orange, they look sort of like sun bonnets.

So, here and now, I'm looking at our pretty babies wearing their sun bonnets to keep them warm, haha. And this works, too. Quite warm by the plants themselves.

This gardening thing is a hoot!

I truly believe this is so. Sometimes the electricity of my light body feels so strong, I have even said to people numerous times: I feel like I could just step out of my body.

At times it just feels awesome to feel the strong vibration of it. I don't always feel it all over. Sometimes just my legs or feet are vibrating, but I sense it in a state of awe.

Good reminder. It hasn't occurred to me since my sudden move.

Her name is Brandy, and she has four small children. Her children are fine, but were infected with MRSA and their house was quarantined. After the contagious infection had gone, she became very ill. She saw a doctor, and they found that she had been infected as well. Unfortunately, they found abscesses that were too large to be drained, grapefruit sized. After removing these, they left the incision site open to allow the infection a way out of her body. Several days of at-home IV antibiotics, and she has not been in the hospital in Tulsa for a week with a gaping hole in her abdomen.

MRSA is not responding to antibiotics, as is its nature, and the infection will not heal.

She is a young girl, in her twenties, and is truly a light, connected strongly to Spirit. But she knows nothing of healing. So, please help in any way you can. Her children need her desperately. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a bacterium responsible for several difficult-to-treat infections in humans. It is also called oxacillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (ORSA). MRSA is any strain of Staphylococcus aureus that has developed, through the process of natural selection, resistance to beta-lactam antibiotics, which include the penicillins (methicillin, dicloxacillin, nafcillin, oxacillin, etc.) and the cephalosporins. Strains unable to resist these antibiotics are classified as methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus, or MSSA. The evolution of such resistance does not cause the organism to be more intrinsically virulent than strains of Staphylococcus aureus that have no antibiotic resistance, but resistance does make MRSA infection more difficult to treat with standard types of antibiotics and thus more dangerous.

MRSA is especially troublesome in hospitals, prisons and nursing homes, where patients with open wounds, invasive devices, and weakened immune systems are at greater risk of infection than the general public.

Then she said that she did Reiki years ago, and had forgotten all about it. She now remembers the "calm Truth" of it, and is working to help herself. She is feeling the wound sort of pulling together. She is asking her Guides and Angels for help. This ... is exactly Right!

Okies.. so It appears as if i am moving through this cycle of "whatever that was"

This is something that might help; Manuka Honey. Apparently one of few substances that kills MRSA.

Also Dr Schulze has an Anti-infection potion for wounds which I used at the end of my skin infection. It did feel liked it worked, better than anything I had tried so far.

Tell her to eat all the raw garlic she can. Dr Schulze recommends 50 cloves a day. www.herbdoc.com

We own a beach house in Costa Rica, on the Pacific coast. I have been depressed lately as a huge tree fell on its roof two weeks ago and destroyed it, and the house is not insured.
So last Saturday we got up at 4 am and drove there with a construction worker, to start the job...first had to put up the pole for the electricity meter which was also destroyed.
We still have no electricity, cant use any of the fans, hence boiling temperatures at midday.
Anyway, so we went down to the ocean for a one hour swim in those warm blue waters, and that swim took my depression right out of me, even though the repair job is even bigger than I first thought.
But at least I can now face it, thanks to that lovely swim in that huge ocean.
It was transforming.

P.S. now I know why the sea is blue....
It absorbs all the blues...lol

We own a beach house in Costa Rica, on the Pacific coast. I have been depressed lately as a huge tree fell on its roof two weeks ago and destroyed it, and the house is not insured.
So last Saturday we got up at 4 am and drove there with a construction worker, to start the job...first had to put up the pole for the electricity meter which was also destroyed.
We still have no electricity, cant use any of the fans, hence boiling temperatures at midday.
Anyway, so we went down to the ocean for a one hour swim in those warm blue waters, and that swim took my depression right out of me, even though the repair job is even bigger than I first thought.
But at least I can now face it, thanks to that lovely swim in that huge ocean.
It was transforming.

P.S. now I know why the sea is blue....
It absorbs all the blues...lol

Seriously, I've been through a lot in my life, but this is one of the toughest times ever.

Here and now I'm sitting in the living room with the hospital beds and it's time to move on. So, I'm going to stay in my RV in New Mexico until enough repairs are made to make it livable. By the end of the week I should be back in my spot, but it will also be temporary...

I just drew the "Justice" card. It's meaning is appropriate: "A time to gather great strength (inner strength--the kind you draw on when all the chips are down) and will power to achieve your objectives."

I'm sensing that since I'm really about to bring my work into the world, which is tons of Light of Truth through my literary body of work and transformational programs, group consciousness, and teen leadership--that the old energies are resisting. I'm calling in AA Michael protection a lot. Standing in my own Integrity and Inner Truth Awareness and holding strong.

I feel a bit weakened and need additional physical strength and health.

Although I'm financially challenged, the Universe is providing. Just got a donation from a friend who bought a book and my son is showing up to help.

My non-profit is hanging in the balance, waiting for me to settle down and focus on it. My books are moving a bit through all this, and I'm sure hoping for a miracle!!

These are the times when letting go and Perfect Faith create the necessary "miracles" of creation. I know the laws of cause and effect. I've been working on this stuff for over 12 years. I intend to get it out there so that it can benefit Humanity as Divinely intended/guided.

We are leaning on each other a lot these days, but it is so helpful, actually downright vital to the Victory of the Light.

Please assist me with prayers and energy and encouragement. I'm strong, but I know when I need assistance, too.

My intention is to overcome these current obstacles and take my work (all contained in my van and RV right now!) and expand into the world for its benefit.
I'm thankful that it is already done in some realms, and the rest will just play itself out.

My landlady called last evening to let me know a couple of trees will be cut down for safety reasons.
Sounds to me like your landlady knew you were a tree lover at heart, and didn't want to tell you the real story :).

I'm a tree lover and I have much compassion for your situation, Paula. You are handling it well.

I protested my landlord cutting down a tree where I lived in CA once, and it worked. However, then they came and cut down lots of other things and made the property look bare.

When I was in Oregon I saw some places they had clear cut, and also many trucks day after day, year after year, hauling out these precious trees, lots of pines and redwoods. I like to envision our planet fully recovered and renewed. "Clean, pristine, and lusciously green" is one phrase I use while visioning.

Well time to return to my home in Alaska tomorrow. I will miss my new friend Ulli and am so grateful to have met a like soul in Costarica. She and her husband have helped me feel more at home in my second home. Very sad to be leaving her behind with so much wisdom love and compassion she has shown me.

Please, if you can help my niece, she has given permission for healing help, and appreciates it very much.

Her name is Brandy, and she has four small children. Her children are fine, but were infected with MRSA and their house was quarantined. After the contagious infection had gone, she became very ill. She saw a doctor, and they found that she had been infected as well. Unfortunately, they found abscesses that were too large to be drained, grapefruit sized. After removing these, they left the incision site open to allow the infection a way out of her body. Several days of at-home IV antibiotics, and she has not been in the hospital in Tulsa for a week with a gaping hole in her abdomen.

MRSA is not responding to antibiotics, as is its nature, and the infection will not heal.

She is a young girl, in her twenties, and is truly a light, connected strongly to Spirit. But she knows nothing of healing. So, please help in any way you can. Her children need her desperately. She was preparing her departure from a bad relationship as this occurred, and was also diagnosed with an autoimmune condition only a couple of months ago.

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a bacterium responsible for several difficult-to-treat infections in humans. It is also called oxacillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (ORSA). MRSA is any strain of Staphylococcus aureus that has developed, through the process of natural selection, resistance to beta-lactam antibiotics, which include the penicillins (methicillin, dicloxacillin, nafcillin, oxacillin, etc.) and the cephalosporins. Strains unable to resist these antibiotics are classified as methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus, or MSSA. The evolution of such resistance does not cause the organism to be more intrinsically virulent than strains of Staphylococcus aureus that have no antibiotic resistance, but resistance does make MRSA infection more difficult to treat with standard types of antibiotics and thus more dangerous.

MRSA is especially troublesome in hospitals, prisons and nursing homes, where patients with open wounds, invasive devices, and weakened immune systems are at greater risk of infection than the general public.

update: just to let you know the seriousness of this, I just found out the doctors and nurses are wearing hazmat suits when they come and go. She must be so scared...

Wanted to say ozone therapy works on this. It can be complicated to use requires using an oxygen tank and an ozone machine. If you have trouble finding info on it IM me. I used ozone to treat a very bad infection and know someone who used it to treat the MRSS with success.

Thanks, Michelle Marie. In fairness, my landlady and her hubby are impeccable stewards of the land. For the last several years, many branches have snapped off because of the unrelenting New England weather patterns. Last fall, the high winds caused a tree to smash part of the roof.

Across time, eighteen years that I’ve been here, trees have filled out, and a good number have come down. Trees are a metaphor for inner-evolution, life, death, flow and grace.

Yes, I have planted plenty of trees in my lifetime. In the Boy Scouts, we planted many a tree on the mountain. In my early 20's, I had a Springtime job of planting trees(thousands) and hydroseeding for the Forester of our company. Mining reclaimation. It was the best job I ever had!

It's so rewarding to come back years later to see the forest that you helped plant.

Every time I move, I end up planting trees in the yard! lol.

I went to beautiful Québec City for a couple of days for a healer's conference. It was not my first trip to Québec city but it had been a while. It is quite something to walk through the old Québec and the plains, and feel the roots under my feet. I met a lot of wonderful people from all over Canada and the United States. Beautiful people. I'm so full... it will take me a lot of days to digest everything. I received "Anna, la grand-mère de Jésus" in time for the trip on the train which made me quite happy. Everything was so in sync... bam, bam, bam. From one workshop to the other, going deeper and deeper following a same link. I'm still pretty much in awe of it all.

Of course, every one of you travelled with me in my heart. Did you hear the train calling ? hehe...

Oh, that's really great to hear. A friend of mine lost a really big tree on her property and she went into great grief about it. It was a big tree and she has a small lot. It also opened her up to a road with considerable traffic.

I have hardly checked-in here for a couple of weeks at least. Forgive my absence - it was not abandonment.

Finally we have had a few spring-like days and most of the snow has melted. One day (last Friday?) about a foot melted! Looking forward to finally starting a garden soon. Made my first batch of "bio-char."

Today, a small bird must have flown into (collided with) my car window (car parked in the driveway), because the little guy was dead next to the car and some tiny bit of fluff on the window. It had to have just happened, as the body was still warm (in the shade on cool temperature asphalt.) Since I did not know if he was stunned or dead, I picked him up gently, and looked for a pulse, brought him into the house in case he was just stunned - he'd have a better chance of recovery in the warmth, I reasoned. As I was holding him and gently stroking him (and trying to allow my hands to channel energy into him), I thought about all of the suffering animals on Gaia - non-human and human. There is so much suffering and death on this planet. The Buddha was right.

But, he was dead. Really, he may never have known any suffering - one moment a daredevil flying ace, twisting and turning through the air currents, and |bam| instantly dead from the collision.

I hope I accomplish what I volunteered to come here to do - before I meet my final immovable object at high velocity.

1inMany, you are probably tired of hearing about Oil of Oregano, as it seems it did not work on your little one. I know that Manuka honey and Oil of Oregano are two natural remedies that have been clinically shown to stop MRSA. Green Med should have info, if you want to search there. I don't know if there are any cross-reactions (some herbs do cross-react with pharmaceuticals) but it may be worth promoting as an adjunct treatment, along with whatever antibiotic the doc prescribes - but ask the doc. If it "can't hurt", some docs will go along with it - as an adjunct.

BTW, did they ever "culture" what little one had, so we might remember that (at least in that instance) what infection Oil of Oregano is ineffective against.

Astrid, I am glad you are feeling better. This time, when you are back to full health, that will be it for the rest of your life. No more sickness for you, ever. I may not "know" it to be so, but I "will it" to be so.

Yeah honestly "guessing" the meaning or reason behind a phenomena is a game in itself in this place as everything is so illusive. I've been noticing and feeling it for a while now.

Yesterday, my ex-hubby, his wife, and I went to lunch at a place that was new to me. I took one of the sample menus. Today, out of the blue in the market, a check-out person brought up the same restaurant. She said the owner promised to drop off menus. I shared mine because it was still in my pocketbook. The timing wasn’t just in the restaurant and menu, but usually the three of us go out on a weekend, so that made the synchronicity even sweeter.

This again, you have already read in My Word. But, I feel you need a reminder because many of you are still weighed in the balances and still are found wanting.

I will renew your Spirit and you will operate in My Spirit and with My Spirit, working together with you.

The time will come when man's human intelligence will cease and he will look to himself in order to solve the problems of the day.

This time will come when mankind will excel in human intelligence just as the Words of my prophet Daniel warned...

His knowledge shall increase and he will seek to rule not only this Earth but also the Moon, and other Heavenly bodies which I have also created.

When that day comes, many of you will look upon their works with great dismay. You will see how far they have departed from my Word an My Love.

Think it not strange that these things shall come to pass because as they come to pass it will be for a sign. A sign of My soon return. When man begins to forsake his first true love in order to love another, times will grow very difficult then.

But, those times and seasons will continue and cause those who are called by My Name to exceedingly prosper and succeed as your soul prospers and succeeds.

Beautiful cool sunshine morning on the mountain. The wind is blowing through the forest rustling the leaves.

I have been watching a forest finch make its nest in the large red oak that's in front of my porch for about a month now. Sometimes he picks up a twig or piece of debris, buzzes around me, stops mid-air, chirps then gracefully flies to his nest sheltered in the higher branches.

One day, I was in the house and felt something different. I went out front and found one of my cats perched on the railing of the porch, silently observing whether he could reach the finch and his nest. We had a talk and I told him it would not be a worthwhile en-devour. He let out a cat sigh, licked his paws, pretending to ignore me, but skulked away with a switch of his tale....I'm sure it will be: to be continued. lol

He couldn't believe anyone could hit that many correct notes. But this kid IS that talented; it's not AutoTune-d.

A couple of the jazzy chords he creates with 6 notes are absolutely phenomenal.

Hello Ulli, and everyone, sorry, I missed this yesterday. Yes, life is good. I went through a bit of a restless time a while back, moving around a bit trying to find a nice place to live. Now living on a ridgetop with beautiful views and some of the kindest souls one could hope to meet.
It is an old, 'alternative' town where a lot of hippies have lived since the 1970's. I am making new friends and running into some old ones.
I am happily motivated 'peeling layers off the onion' so to speak and can't help but chuckle at my changing sense of 'reality' as it goes through it machinations.

I don't usually write lengthy posts here... Mostly I just share pictures or videos, but there is something more interesting that I wish to share you with you.

Earlier today I was watching the beautiful night sky on my balcony and I saw the crescent moon... It was orange coloured, it was very beautiful. I saw a few stars too and I made a wish... I wished that the benevolent powers would show themselves to me. Of course I wasn't too serious about it...

But then something started to happen. The night sky started to fill up with white dots which looked like big bright stars. First I thought that there was something wrong with my vision and that I saw just only stars, but the bright objects started to move really fast. Some of them beamed up back to great hights! I couldn't believe my eyes!

I know that they were not planes or helicopters, it was impossible. I absolutely don't know that what those bright objects were, but suddenly there were so many of them. Eventually most of them just "faded" away. Naturally, I was just awestruck. I have never seen anything like that even though I love to observe the night sky whenever I have the chance. :rolleyes:

~ Oh, and another thing. I used to love this movie almost as much I loved the original Star Wars trilogy as a child. The last time I saw this movie I was really young and I watched with my mother. I was really amazed back then! I think that I am going to watch it soon. Oh, those memories. ~

Oh, oh, oh, spotted a hummingbird today. I love those little suckers. I live in the mountains in eastern Arizona and the winds are severe in the spring, so my first hummingbird feeder for this spring was blown senseless to the ground, but I'm going to put another one out, and a few more. If you wear purple or red T-shirts or really flowerful/colorful T-shirts, they think you are a big flower, and four or five hummingbirds will hover around trying to figure out if you really are the big huge flower and where to tap into you.

Hummingbirds are just soaked in joy and it is wonderful when they come for the summer. The more feeders you have, the more there are, and some are tiny like butterflies and some are big, and some are more colorful than others, too. And the robin is building a nest over the cabin door again.

Wow! Spot on, in my case. I have the natal moon there, and even though I have known about these traits in myself for many years, I have made little progress in changing any of it, except that I have learnt to say "no", although still tend to feel awful when I do.

My garden is full of them and I adore them ...always rescuing them from my cats. Years ago when I was still an active Baha'i I was friends with Jimmy Seals and his wife Ruby, who were also living in Costa Rica. Seals and Crofts probably did more to make people aware of the Bahai Faith than anyone else ever did.

Great Q&A's in just this one post by AwakeInADream, TraineeHuman & Finefeather.

I’ve read William L. Buhlman's, "Adventures Beyond the Body" & "The Secret of the Soul", and have some experience with it, but it’s not a burning desire to perfect (for now). This post from TraineeHuman’s thread (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?52121-OBEs-What-are-they-how-to-make-them-happen-and-where-does-the-Higher-Self-fit-in) adds another piece and to a degree confirmation for myself.

We each travel the roads intended for our unique desires and contracts. No right or wrong way. Just one big experience we map out. (push pin not included, but available @ no extra charge)

The post confirms my thoughts. What I say to people that are in the 'fear zone' with all that’s going on is what has always served me: “be kind, re-wind”, heart-centered lifestyle, keep it simple, assist when/where appropriate, etc.




That makes me want to ask:

Does the Higher Self aspect of our selves contain all of the knowledge of our past lives?

And if so would a unification with the HS give the personality on Earth all of this knowledge too?

Or would that be a Source thing?

I would first like to quote this statement by TH which is overlooked by many:

This is very important to know because many are getting into strange positions like standing on their heads in yoga classes to reach the HS when in fact it is already there...right inside their heads :)...imagine what that's doing to the HS :)

The message here from TH is that the HS is alive and well and living on earth in millions of people all around the world. Living the way of the HS is really the goal.
All the practicing and meditating and yoga and OB is going to do very little for you if you are not going to pay attention to your attitudes and to which way you are focusing your life.

I know of many extremely beautiful spiritually minded people who have no clue whatsoever about OBE and who have never, in their life, made any attempt to meditate or get involved in any form of practice...they are just natural born examples of the love and beauty of the true spiritual man.

But to answer your question...Yes the HS knows all...but there is a technicality to this and it is related to karma and the quality of the ego/astral/mental body which was created specially for each of us for each specific incarnation. Now there is no secret to this and we as Spiritual Beings have all been directly involved during this creation. I do not want to go into this too deeply because I do not want to derail this thread...so all I am going to say is that we have each chosen the type of ego/astral/mental body which best suits our intention for each incarnation. This will naturally mean that some will be able to bring more, and some will be able to bring less of the true nature of the HS or Spiritual Being into play during the incarnation. This does not mean there is no opportunity for growth. The amount of this HS influence or quality that can be brought through is related to our spiritual growth up to the last incarnation. There are exceptions to this and also provision is made for server Souls and those who are incarnating for planetary purposes.

I just got around to fully catching up the past few days.

Dennis, I don't know that Oil of Oregano would have been ineffective against the specific bacteria Em had. The timing was completely odd. We all took the Oil of Oregano when she had the flu. It is my opinion, and that of the doctor also, that it lessened the flu symptoms for her and kept the rest of us from getting it.

We stopped taking the Oil of Oregano when the flu had run its course and we all felt we were safe. It was only four days later than Em got what looked to be a regular stomach bug. At that point, there was literally no way she would have kept anything in so we didn't even think of the Oil of Oregano. So I wouldn't say the Oil of Oregano was ineffective. In the end, the doctor had a hunch which specific bacteria caused her problems, and treated with the antibiotic (IV) that would kill it. And it worked. He did mention which bacteria this was, and for the life of me I cannot remember. It sounded like mitochondria, lol. I'm sorry, but that's the best I can recall.

I was thinking about the Oil of Oregano and its uses last week, sort of reflection I guess. I was wondering if we should all just take that every day as a matter of course. I suspect it would work proactively for stomach bugs. I mean, when someone is that kind of violently ill, it just doesn't seem like they would have it in their system long enough for it to even dissolve. So it seems proactively would be the only way.

I did find out, though, if anyone is doing what I am doing, looking for protection against various illnesses for future reference...that a friend of mine was sick with a stomach bug. Everyone around this friend took some vinegar (organic apple cider vinegar with mother) and did not get sick. I have a terrible time taking vinegar, so I'm also stocking up on white peppercorns. Thanks, you guys, for sharing what you know and your personal experiences especially.

I had the worst kind of bird encounter yesterday, I'm still distraught. Driving on the wooded road next to the abandoned golf course a Candian goose walked into the side of my car. I heard the thunk, saw a bunch of feathers flying and the poor thing spin around and stumble down back where he came from (invisible due to overgrowth).

Feel so awful about it. Was gloomily going over financial problems in my head, ignoring my children. That'll teach me what happens when your focus strays down a dark path...

She was low because a little guy was trying to out fly her. No pine trees to hide in now. Seems She-Eagle wanted steak instead of fish ‘n’ chips from the river across the way.

Something’s happening. While writing out the post, a huge hawk just slipped into the lower branches of the cedar trees about fifty feet away. It looks huge because I don’t see them up that close. Lots of unusual activity. North winds have a lot to say, too.

UPDATE: Oh, that's not steak, that's chicken. As long as it's not pretend extra crispy KFC.

I won't tell you how addictive these flutes are Paula....I started with one and have 7 now...2 of them tuned to A=432....you'd like them tuned to 432 I bet...there is a difference.

My garden is full of them and I adore them ...always rescuing them from my cats. Years ago when I was still an active Baha'i I was friends with Jimmy Seals and his wife Ruby, who were also living in Costa Rica. Seals and Crofts probably did more to make people aware of the Bahai Faith than anyone else ever did.

Yipes!, seven. I can see where it'd be easy to do. My guess is you can do the pop? I make the sound, but it's not the pop like I hear from the professionals. It's really got a hook in me. A=432 is greek, but I was looking at a site that had that “language” for flutes and guitars. I’ve got an A, G, and an F#. My financial advisor says enough for now.

Besides the meditative rush, it’s a focus that I’ve never been able to hear. “Say what?” I enjoy rhythms, beats and the feelings that come from music, but I couldn’t hear words or single notes. This is a whole new language which is rewiring that grey matter up there.

A side benefit is it’s helped my Tai Chi. Since there’s focus on flute, it’s freed up the Tai Chi, which opened up to a different spacial dimension. More present with the Whole. I don’t want to analyze it to much. I tossed out all the old form rules and just let the movement take the body where ever.

Both the flute and Tai Chi strengthen the breath. Now that I think about it, you can say they are quite similar and reinforce each other. See what I mean? This grey matter is sculpting into cups and saucers and plates. Hoping for art artifacts next. I’ll have to speak to my advisor up there. Maybe two A=432’s?

I can hardly post here because my kitty died recently and I buried her under the hummingbird feeder tree: little Emmy. She was the sweetest little cat I've ever had. She put up with Buster who was a Tom.

Buster was like a wife-beater on steroids; Mr. Macho Macho. I had huge herb pots all over the house because I had to put him in time out a lot. He would snuggy up and lay down in the sage and thyme and mint, and calm down once I put him there, and I fed him a lot of cat nip, too. But alas, poor Buster tore through the screen door last fall and was out all night, and up here there are wolves and coyotes lurking about, so we never saw poor Buster again.

I had a similar incident happen to me, too, Donk, some years ago. It was a gross, and I was in rush hour traffic coming around a corner and driving too fast and couldn't stop to see if it was OK after it bumped into me. I felt awful, too. I don't know if I killed it or not.

I can relate to the financial issues. I was out in this little cabin I moved to not too long ago and it just came to me that when I stay in relative harmony as much as I can, I am always OK. I may not have fancy cars or whatever, but I will always be provided for one way or another. It's been years of not knowing how I would manage because I became profoundly deaf and I have a rare incurable and often fatal disease that seems to be karmic, but something has always come along to help me when I needed it.

The Earth gives us so much for free, even though "the greedy ones" think they own the resources, etc., which they don't in all reality. It's like what Chief Seattle said: How can you own the land? I think we really can have paradise on Earth if we become more conscious and change our paradigms. I believe there is a loving force that provides for us and we were given this beautiful planet that provides for all our needs when things are in harmony. We just need to bypass the parasites. Laughing, ah, the pesky parasites.

To get on the flute side, I respect where you are coming from. When I was in elementry we learned how to play the flute.

We had a few spring days last week and suddenly the grass made up for lost time.
Brings back the song " I can hear the grass grow" hear it!!! ---I could just about see it grow.
A scythe would have been a good thing.

Listening to Clif High latest--- I actually find it quite positive especially the part about soldiers laying down their weapons and going home.

I am pooped! Worked outside all day... flower and garden beds cleaned, leaves from last fall in bags, raked the lawn and the grass is cut. They each have their own voice don't they. My favorite is a flute that Lee Nix of Farpoint Flutes built for me out of white ash. I can sit out on the front porch and play it for a while and sometimes the birds will come sit in a Japanese Maple and chatter at me while I play. Pretty cool!

It's 28 degrees C here today as well, and everybody is complaining.
These mountain people of Costa Rica love their cold weather.

Went to a wedding yesterday...a girl who could have easily become my daughter-in-law...
As she and my son were an item when they were twelve when we first moved here from Barbados.
She is one of my brother-in-law's youngest daughter.
But eventually my son moved back to Barbados and has been happily married for ten years,
while she had to wait till age 33 to tie the knot..
So last year she was swept off her feet by a handsome architect who took her to the island of Capri to propose.
She runs a Yoga center.
They surprised the wedding guests last night with the most amazing Tango performance...
The band was seven chunky guys who all looked like the Blues Brothers...John Belushi style hats and looks.
Which added to the surprise factor...Tango was the last thing I would have expected to be in their repertoire...
judging by their looks. Anyway, guys, I had fun.
Meanwhile Yukondiva is back in Yukonland where she is shoveling snow.
I will miss her. Maybe now that she is gone I might visit the Village a bit more...but then again, maybe not.
Have a lot on my plate at the moment.

I was thinking of my mom today also as her birthday is coming up in a week. I did not appreciate her either while she was alive, too many stories I guess. I blamed her for so many things when I was a teen. During the many months she was in the hospital before she left, we connected in a very special way. I would always tell her that I loved her before leaving to go home. One night "I said I love you Mom", and she answered, "I know". That was such a gift to me...

Went to a sweat lodge last night. It ran late into the night so I am relaxing today sort of. I'm on toddler patrol today and have been all week. She is high maintence, busy. But what toddler isn't? Plus she has empetigo -anyone know of a good home remedy for it?

Nora, if you have lavender essential oil and an aloe vera plant, squeeze out a couple stems of aloe gel into a little cup and add a drop of lavender essential oil. Mix well, and scoop out a little of this ... brush onto the area with a Q-tip. Discard the Q-tip. You can repeat every hour or two. Lavender relieves pain as well as being effective against infection.

Impetigo is a staph / strep infection on the skin, and some essential oils are helpful for that (effective even against the MRSA ones)

If you don't have lavender ess. oil or aloe, take some thyme and rosemary herb (fresh, or dried if you don't have fresh). Chop them up coarsely and steep in boiling water with the lid on, until they cool off to room temp. Strain out the herbs and use this to bath the area, maybe every hour or so. Use a fresh cloth each time.

Another remedy, instead of or in addition to, dress it with good raw honey and then cover it with a bandage. Manuka honey is more therapeutic if you have it. Honey infused with raw garlic is even more effective, but not sure a child would go for that, lol.

I have everything but the Manuka honey but i do have raw wildflower mountain amber honey and only have dried thyme. It will work. I've been through a lot of towels and sheets this week. She is beginning to heal -was very sick for a couple of days. She's now sleeping peacefully.

Here and now I made hot cocao and have a good hot fire going in the wood stove. I'm sitting outside in the eye of the storm watching the clouds swirl around the stars. Magical and silent night in the forest.

What has been going on with me lately?

Well, let's just say that I want to thank Rocky_Shorz for helping me with my "issues". To be honest, I don't really like to burden others with my own issues and I have mostly learned to hold my feelings and thoughts to myself... But sometimes I have to express myself so that a healing can occur. Sharing is caring, right?

A lot of new things I have learned within a short period. I don't even want to falsely claim that life has been all rainbows and sunshine... But yet almost every day I am able to find the peace and love within myself. It's not always easy, but I'm mentally strong enough to be grateful even though my mind is constantly being bombarded with silly thoughts. Even when I am suffering I am so glad for being alive right here, right now. That's how it was meant to be.

Solitude is so essential for my well being, but yet I have persons that I care about near me in my life and sometimes I am not able to treat them as I would like to, because my energy levels deplete so easily. They know that I love them and I know that they love me and I am able to express my gratitude to them when I am in a balanced state. Being in nature with animals and all the trees and wildlife... It always restores me. I have also received a lot love and it is a blessing in my life.

I send much love from my heart to you all! I don't just say it, I mean it. ♥

I agree Paula. It seems the chemtrails are being used to stop, shield, or slow the ebb and flow of the suns transmitions of frequency at the 528 hz spectrum. This harmonic frequency transmuted to Earth IMO has the capabilities unto itself in the aid to awaken the sleepy ones. Further - Im going to attach a video here once i find it. It could explain it as it resonated with me.

Must have been onto something, let's see if I can re-create the share.

I will start with Em's "chutzpah" as that is what I was sharing when everything disappeared. She has such childlike qualities, her silliness, her boredom with people who repeat anything, her simpleness...that sometimes her insights and in-your-face kind of attitude make me laugh, they surprise me. She was given an assignment at school, a two page essay on any topic. What did she choose? The separation of church and state, more specifically religion in the classroom. Bwahahahaha

This comes during the same week Mrs. B. told the class that Satan had whispered in her ear that she was too old for her to find another love (after her husband passed away.) While my heart goes out to this woman, because this must be such a lonely and difficult time, telling 8th graders this is really, truly inappropriate. She also shared to Em's class that she had been crying during the class period before theirs...several days in a row.

So, upon hearing this comment, "Satan has been whispering in my ear," Em's thought was, "gee, Mrs. B., that's not Satan. That's called having fears and doubts. The way you offset these is by having hopes and dreams. It's called being human. And all you are doing is feeding the nonexistent monster when you attribute these things to it." Em said to me, "it's a lot like calling Valdemort "he who shall not be named" (or whatever that line is). Not saying the name does nothing, you still give "it" power by referring to it that way."

Sometimes, I tell ya, this child has me in awe. I wonder what the world will be like in 10 years...when those (few) kids and young adults who are truly different are taking on roles in "the real world." Yes, I see the negative...but never before have I seen such wisdom. I know kids have always said the darnedest things, and they have always been full of wisdom, so maybe it is Me who is changing...still...I have to wonder...

Got that posted okay. Phew. On to gardening news.

We are ending up with quite the interesting back yard. We have these three raised beds Mike constructed, they are now completely full. Next step there is going to be making some trellises. In a square foot garden, there's no place to grow but up. He also put a fence of chicken wire around this area, and it has done a good job of keeping four-legged critters out. (The home-made fence is downright cute, but I don't think I would tell Mike that.) And every morning I water this garden with the rainwater from the barrels, gravity powered. It's really cool.

I'm not sure whether Mike got bored with this type of gardening or what, seemed like it was fulfilling his creative instincts okay, but now we have two other types of gardens started. Next to the "fenced" area, we now have a 4x8 foot bed tilled and dug, about 4 inches deep. And in this rectangular hole, he has dropped in a wood frame with a chicken wire bottom. And beside that, he tilled two rows of the previous owner's garden spot. One of these will be for corn and squash (new type of gardening-companion planting) and one of these will be potatoes. This is quite interesting. Good thing my OCD is being served keeping the house in order or it might bother me to look outside, haha.

That's all for now. A lot more than I've shared in a while. Loads of things on my mind, not able to articulate much though. I'm surprised by the synchronicities I have been experiencing in the Here and Now. Ancestors, herbs and oils, tons of stuff but those pop out at me as I reflect. Tons of synchronicies in real life, too. In times like this, I always wonder what it is that I'm doing right. I never know, haha, but I wish I did so I can keep doing them.

Whenever anyone speaks out about the distortions or myths created to justify U.S. (or anyone’s) foreign policy, I find it refreshing. Thought I’d share it with you all. This may not be the place for it; but here and now, it’s on my mind.

Last week, Em and I went to the store to get some root beer and ice cream. (We had a ton of fun exploring life on our own last week.) So, we were checking out and the cashier said, "Oh. Root beer floats (genius, lady.) I used to work at the old A&W stand in blah-blah town, and I have some of those glass mugs at home. I got them at a garage sale for a quarter, though." Small town people always have something to share, haha. We got in the car and I had to explain what an A&W stand is to Em. Popular in my youth.

Yesterday, I was cleaning out some more brush (Lordy, does this battle never end?!), and I found a large glass A&W mug.

That is so completely inconsequential and meaningless, haha, and it reveals absolutely no spiritual or physical-world wisdom. But, at the same time...what are the odds?

Of course, then after clearing the brush I came in for a drink of water and glanced at the clock...yep, 11:11. So, I think, okay. I'm on the right track. Whatever track that is. (Better sharpen my tools? haha)

These little moments make me smile, that's what they do. And, I like smiling.

Ever since y'all (I'm looking Dennis' way) started on the birds they have manifested in my reality.

On the same road I hit that goose the other day, just a bit ago a heron was soaring in line with road, tracking the car, cruising the same path for that length of road.

I mentioned it was next to an abandoned golf course (now known as my dog park), well my friend lives on it, and we happened to be walking right at that stretch Sunday, when some hawks were dancing around the sky, seemingly in answer to issues I was having that day.

As I left my house right now to run an errand, a large fearless raven is perched on my mailbox, not fluttering a feather as I get within a couple feet of him.

I wish I was better at reading these types of things...

Greetings, Villagers, ah the synchronicity of cats, trees and birds, which I see are part of the conversation lately.

As I was walking to the office this evening to work, I left the apt. and upon stepping outside of the door smelled a distinct scent of death. Not very strong, but enough so that I checked under the stairs and around the door to see if I saw anything. I thought immediately of the cats that live around the apartment complex, there's a mama with two kittens that walk up and down the stairs every day, but I found nothing around.

As I walked on campus, there are some old Bald Cypress trees that I pass every day that are a few hundred years old. They front some feeder ponds filled with algae and frogs and act as sentinels it seems to me, observing the changes in the river and the flow of people, which used to flow by them before it was dammed up in the mid-1800s.

But today, as I reached the trees, directly past them and on my path were about 15 vultures. Just sitting there. The vultures migrate to this region every winter and huddle together on trees directly behind where I live, overlooking the earthen dam of the San Marcos river. I see them all the time in different places, often, when I go to work, they sit by the dumpster or even on one of the baseball/softball fields that are closeby, but this is the first time I've seen them in this particular space. As I approached them they so did not want to move. They waddled away for as long as they could until they figured out I was coming for sure then they flew away in protestation, although they did not fly far, just to some trees sitting by another pond. They left behind a very distinct and acrid smell as I passed them by.

Then, immediately to my left and in the shallows of one of the ponds I saw a Great Blue Heron.

It was also disturbed by my passage, although it did not fly away. I passed it, wondering at this interaction with all of these creatures in such quick succession when, again directly on my path, there was a small grey squirrel just sitting there chewing on something.

He also gave way to allow me passage but it felt like a sequence ending once I'd passed him and entered the campus proper. I was left wondering the meaning of these interactions, from the first scent and thought of cats to the vultures, the heron and the squirrel. Definitely a time of intense interaction in all spheres!

Oh my gosh, Em and I just had the most amazing, fun, and exciting experience! We finally were able to stop at the hole in the wall herb shop in town. It's tucked away and if you don't drive really slowly looking at what downtown has to offer, I'm sure you'd miss it.

Em has been looking at making things with herbs, teas, tinctures...all kinds of combinations for all manner of things.

After spending an hour in the store, the owner, who is an herbalist, told us about classes she teaches. Em and I are taking our first beginners class in June! And not only that, but she offered to Em that if she had time over the summer she would be thrilled to have some help. So Em lit up like a Christmas tree, being allowed to volunteer with this lady. Em will get to take classes from her at no charge, and also get a discount on anything purchased there. Which, after today, I will tell you will be substantial.

We came home with two plants, two girly mesh tea strainer ball thingies, a sample bag of tea for Em's tummy troubles, two all natural chocolate bars, some organic lollipops, and a bunch of packets of seeds.

We have a ton of ideas on how to get the tummy issues under control, including swapping out cow's milk for coconut milk...and she carries organic, fresh yogurt which we will put in our smoothies (new addiction there) instead of store bought...and this lady makes some type of organic chocolate mix for milk, which will make Em a happy girl!

Oh, I'm so excited! Em gets to "study" with an herbalist! I did check her level of patience, haha, as Em is sort of...inquisitive...and this lady used to be a preschool teacher!

Of course, I will take the classes too, which is an added bonus.

Tree cutting is very controlled here. They catch the culprits easily, as large logs are hard to hide. Every tree has to show a permit. even owning a chainsaw now means you need a permit.
We are planting trees here all the time.
My mother planted about 10,000 trees every summer. Total about 400,000 in her lifetime. Now they have planting machines. she still walked behind them when she was dying of cancer, making sure the tree was straight.
Our forest in Germany was always mixed...beech, firs, but nowadays they are in the Christmas tree business...my nephew runs the family farm. More profit oriented than my dad used to be. He just wanted to maintain tradition ....

Sequoia, a genus of cone-bearing evergreen trees of the pine family. These trees were named after Sequoya, a Cherokee Indian leader and scholar. One of the most famous giant sequoia trees is the General Sherman tree in Sequoia National Park. Borings taken from the tree showed it to be about 3,500 years old. It is about 275 feet (84 m) tall and at ground level is 103 feet (31 m) in circumference. Some of the other national parks and national forests in which giant sequoia groves are preserved are Yosemite National Park, Kings Canyon National Park, and Sierra National Forest.

The Redwood The redwood is the state tree of California. It requires a cool climate of high humidity, and is found only in the narrow fog belt along the Pacific coast from southern Oregon to Monterey, California.

Some of the tallest redwoods have been discovered in Redwood Creek Grove in Humboldt County, California. The tallest tree there measures about 370 feet (113 m) in height. Some areas have been established as state and national parks to preserve the largest and the most beautiful redwood groves. One of the most famous of these parks is Muir Woods National Monument.

Redwood trees have narrow, yellow-green leaves that are stiff, flat, and sharply pointed. The cones are egg-shaped and about one inch (2.5 cm) long. The redwoods are named for the reddish-brown lumber that is obtained from them. This lumber is very durable and is used for such things as shingles, fences, posts, and furniture. Redwood is heavier and stronger than the wood of the giant sequoia.

If you have the possibility, go visit Venice, you’ll not regret. What an incredible idea to build a capital city in the middle of a sea. Capitalism stinks, but luckily for Venice, international tourism is preventing Venice from sinking into oblivion. Rising sea levels are an obvious problem for Venice, and recently, scientists have found that the flooding problems are being exacerbated by the entire city's gradual sinking. International tourism is enabling the funding of city development plans to protect and sustain the city for future generations. Voilà, a positive side-effect of modern capitalism.

Trees have an incredible amount of energy and auras much like all things on this planet and in this multiverse. We are not seperate from trees, but just a part. Lately when i see trees being cut down for know reason, I consider it to be outright TreeSlaughter and Murder. Trees transmit much energy and frequencys to Gaia. Someday i would love to visit California or Oregon and meditate underneath one of these Beauty's. This would be Bliss.

Enron boss Jeffrey Skilling set to have sentence reduced

The former chief executive of Enron could be released from prison nearly a decade earlier than expected.

Jeffrey Skilling presided over Enron when it became embroiled in one of the biggest corporate frauds in US history.

Mr Skilling's 24-year sentence could come down to 14, now that he has agreed to stop appealing against his conviction.

Thousands of workers lost their jobs and retirement savings when Enron collapsed in 2001.

The agreement between Mr Skilling and federal prosecutors would also allow more than $40m seized from him to be distributed to the victims of the Enron fraud.

"The proposed agreement brings certainty and finality to a long painful process," Mr Skilling's lawyer Daniel Petrocelli said in a statement.

"Although the recommended sentence for Jeff would still be more than double any other Enron defendant, all of whom have long been out of prison, Jeff will at least have the chance to get back a meaningful part of his life," he added.

Trees have an incredible amount of energy and auras much like all things on this planet and in this multiverse. We are not seperate from trees, but just a part. Lately when i see trees being cut down for know reason, I consider it to be outright TreeSlaughter and Murder. Trees transmit much energy and frequencys to Gaia. Someday i would love to visit California or Oregon and meditate underneath one of these Beauty's. This would be Bliss.

Computer and refrigerator humming. Devin is click-click-clicking into my room, saying it's time to go outside. Ceiling fans whirring. Having coffee, thinking about the day ahead. Mundane chores today, I want to have the house clean and laundry done, etc. so that tomorrow when I chaperone Em's band on the field trip my mind won't wander to housework. The band is playing in a contest and then going to Six Flags. Going to do some extra beefing up my boundaries before I tackle that one, haha.

My daughter has been chosen to participate to one of the biggest French television telethon in the province, Enfant-Soleil, raising money for 3 children hospitals and other children needs. She will sing her composition "Beau Sort", since she is participating as a Young artist hopeful, as an author, composer and interpreter. Wish her luck to win the 1,000$ going with it. It is her first competition, her first on TV and it is a big show here.

The run has been very tough lately, I hope this will put her up a bit.

So here again, the winning song (do not forget she is only 16 and had major language and coordination handicaps to surpass to get there).

Hi everyone. Been rather quiet of late.

Was in a weird place the last little while attempting to reconstruct how I got here, now, to the person I am, or believe I am, today. I glimpse a structure within my life, intricate and illusive, that conspires to weave a situational tapestry throughout my days so as to lead me in a prescribed direction and to a set of preordained experiences. I have used this sense of the preordained many times in my life to make pivitol choices and take positive action. Seems to come back to what it means to me, on a personal level. It is so crucial to interprete experience in the right light and the proper perspective. Otherwise, disaster can result, and can become a permanant fixture in many areas of life. These are my false beliefs. Beliefs I have arrived at in error by wrongly intrepreting a situation using outdated conclusions from previous experience. There are quite a few paradoxes down that road, I must say. For without having made those choices in error I would not be who I am today. Now with the most fundamental of those false beliefs coming back to bite me in the ass, I am offorded the dubious pleasure of deciding what it all means to me, again - and carefully choose the most appropriate action to take.

I feel like my life is like the saga of the "sword that was broken has been made whole once again", and we're at the forging scene. And that is coming out quite literally in my activities of the last two weeks: I've been working on my staff I broke last year while doing some cleansing work. I'm just putting the finishing coats of laquer on it, then it's done.

Been following all the stories of daily life the villagers post and adding my thoughts and prayers where needed or useful. Know that you are loved.

A really tropical weather here. In just a matter of days it's been shifting from a cold spring to summer... Nature is just about to bloom. Some trees already have leaves and I've seen flowers too, the colour green is really nice to see again.

This house that I'm living in seriously needs some better air conditioning, because it's night right now and it's still way too hot for me to sleep. This feels really weird after months of unbearable coldness. I guess that I'll better go find those fans!

Em came home from school yesterday and told me that everyone is saying the new phrase, "Ain't nobody got time for that!" Anyway, this time around it's going to be different. We are going to be the change we want to see,
