Quote for the day:

“All beauty comes from beautiful blood and a beautiful brain. If the greatnesses are in conjunction in a man or woman it is enough...the fact will prevail through the universe...but the gaggery and gilt of a million years will not prevail. Who troubles himself about his ornaments or fluency is lost. This is what you shall so: Love the earth and sun and the animals, despise riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning God, have patience and indulgence toward the people, take off your hat to nothing known or unknown or to any man or number of men, go freely with powerful uneducated persons and with the young and with the mothers of families, read these leaves in the open air every season of every year of your life, re-examine all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul, and your very flesh shall be a great poem and have the richest fluency not only in its words but in the silent lines of its lips and face and between the lashes of your eyes and in every motion and joint of your body...”

I would like all Villagers to focus on making Strat pain free. He suffers from cluster headaches...
an extremely painful condition which flares up at regular intervals.
I looked at his birth chart and seen the correlations.
The planetary indicators here give me reason to believe hat this is coming from another dimension, as he had Uranus opposite Chiron at birth, an exact 180 angle, and the attacks happen whenever a planet or the moon pass a longitude that connects to his natal opposition, either from an 90 degree angle or conjunction...
and it is as if someone plugs him in and throws a switch that triggers electric currents to run through his head.
Maybe one of you could intuit what the correct visualization might be here
to stop these painful events from occurring.
Then his energy would no longer be feeding some parasitical entities, whoever they are and wherever they may reside,
but be available for him, and him only, to control and direct wherever he wishes.
Thanks also to Swan, for posting Rife frequencies on Strat's thread...
I had not known that the audio and visuals could work. Very interesting.
Lets hope they have something for cluster headaches and put it up soon.

I recommend The Emotion Codes book and treatment. It is very simple. It quickly addresses the trapped emotions affecting the body. You don't need to delve deep. I explained this in my thread about how it gets to parents' issues etc. Well I'm just tossing it out there..if it feels right...

Warmest regards.

Thanks, CdnSirian. The demonstration below was impressive. Dr. Bradley narrowed 60 possible emotion down to "the one" in less than a minute. It reminds me of Dr. David Hawkin's muscle testing.

I’ve ordered the book: “The Emotion Code: How to Release Your Trapped Emotions for Abundant Health, Love and Happiness,” by Dr. Nelson Bradley

His book received high marks from 230 customer reviews (http://www.amazon.com/The-Emotion-Code-Emotions-Happiness-ebook/product-reviews/B0037Z70J4/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1) with an average of 4.5 out of 5

Well actually I did see it coming up, but it was past my bedtime. I have been working on the Grande Arche de la Défense in Paris, which is a monument to the number 35. The sides have 25 5*5 squares of 7*7 windows, totaling 35² or 1225 windows. So after 100K we can look forward to 122.5K, sometime around the year 2070 I reckon :)

You need to make a wiggly toy...get a small bead, pass some fishing line through it and tie it.
Then tie that to a short stick ...no longer than 20"....

Lay the bead on the ground in front of the cats and start moving it back and forth...
let the cats chase it for a few minutes each day.

My three cats were all street cats, totally traumatized,
and all took quite a while to develop the trust.
Feeding alone is not enough, although it means they will always show up.

But if you become their playmate then you add some fun to their lives,
and thats how they will become cuddly.

Cats and dogs are a perfect representation of the meaning behind "Service to self" and "Service to others," in my opinion.

Let's also not forget what Simon Parkes has to say about cats having to do with Reptilians...

Cats: They have been tweaked in part with reptilian genes, (mammalians with parts reptilians) therefore their eyes and some behaviors. That is what Simon Parkes said.

I do not think it changes much whatever we feel about them, still furry pretty lively beings.

If I understand the inuendo, cats would be service to self and dogs service to others, ain't it?

This is usually what we think, like cats love being with us because they take us as cats, while dogs think they are themselves humans, when with humans for a long time.

Well, I was very surprised this week when my little tiny 9 pounds female cat ran toward the built boy I was brawling with (having fun). She thought I was being attacked and ran towards him to jump and tare him apart, protecting me. I saw it just in time and cooled her off. This was service to others (to me this situation).

Naa, I seriously doubt it matters.
What matters is live and let live, give each other plenty of space...

Also, considering how clingy, needy and dependent dogs are I would not consider them STO,
except for dogs trained to lead the blind.
Cats bring a special vibe of coziness to a home...thus earning their keep.

Thank you...and I agree. My heart aches when I think of all domestic animals....
here where I live they suffer terribly.
All the foreigners who come to live in Central America become rescue agents for abandoned animals...
and the worst part is that the abandoned ones often have the better deal.
Street dogs in small towns are often quite fat; they know where all the butcher shops are and line up for their meals.
The ones in captivity are nearly always mistreated...
One sees such lonely dogs here, in front yards, in small cages, and even then on a chain.
It's really awful, I don't know the answer.

Hello Village-
I am here lurking, catching up, and very much enjoying the shared Fall themed verses. As I continue my stroll through the pages of the Village, I'd like to contribute some more Fall foliage to the village landscape. This is a poem I wrote 2 weeks before I found out I was pregnant with my first child-- apparently my poetic voice knew more about the inner-workings of my body than my I did...lol.

Harvesting Autumn in a Word Basket

Only in Autumn do leaves fade into Brilliance-
Each leaf unique, devoid of being purely green.

It is in Autumn a bountiful harvest is celebrated—
Hand-woven baskets overflow with tree-ripened apples,
Indian corn ready to have its colorful kernels popped,
and a variety of gourds that amuse in both their shapes and names.

The Day of the Dead is acknowledged by pumpkins carved
with faces, both light-heartedly mocking and menacing,
displayed in warm soft-lit neighborhood windows.
As the lights from these shallow-shelled lanterns glow-
passerbys ponder what constitutes the soul.

Couples are seen walking, along maple and oak tree-lined streets-
snuggly bound in coordinating woolen sweaters, knit hats, and flannel-lined pants,
still seeking out warmth by holding hands.

A crisp breeze tickles and burns only their cheeks,
Because the tips of their noses are already numb.
Their nostrils still functioning, inhale the Essence of Fall,
an arid elixir of decaying leaves and clear star-nighted brightness.
It instantly intertwines with their innermost membranes,
carried through their nasal passageways, down through the throat, finally settling a flaming chill deep within their chests.

Together the walkers’ shuffling feet and dried leaves meet into a rhythmic rustle.
Throughout Autumn—
Leaves continue to fall off of branches, seeming so high they touch the clear-blue in the sky, dancing with the wind even after they settle to their places on the ground.

The amber-hued Earth is undressing herself during this time of withering fruitfulness— Preparing for the penetration of life still two seasons away.

More than that ..

Cannot quote from a "members only" thread ... but paraphrasing from memory (feeble that it may be) is the Reptiles were quite partial to cats and Simon took particular note of that ...

(actually I believe it was in one of his vids so that would be available to post if any cat lover feels so inclined as to go through them all and find it).

I've had cats and dogs wolf dogs all of my life.... I love cats and dogs

My cats all have icky pooh radar... Warn me when any kind of weird energy is around. One time when rep/hybrid and 2 reptillions were on my front porch....they screeched hissed and ran for the front door. (I don't blame them.) After i i made a raucous and got those creatures out of there, I built a good hot fire and they sat on my lap purring in the darkness and takin in the flames of the fire with me. Another one took on a real witch spirit, until it could be dealt with in the right way.

White Tail and his sister pick up on predators -human or otherwise right away... The tone of their voice tells me. Plus they keep the pesky raccoons & coyotes away.

They're all furry lovable guys and I don't know what I would do without them.

Love

Sync: 7:10 a.m., I recalled about the starving kitty and dog from next door and your neighbors moving. I'm recalling that kitty set up a life with you in the end. That's after you hosting a brunch and neighbor spotted kitty at the door and demanded kitty's return.

Sync: 7:10 a.m., Same with Chester/justoneman (Avalonian member for the newer Family). He came into my thoughts and sure enough, he's "a-postin" on the roads of Avalon.

As for me now? I must stop stalling. There was one thing I have not followed up on. Protection. I found a shop 5 miles away and there are classes and a diverse selection of stock. I figured if I have protection, then 'We, the All' will not need it because it means we've physically bleeped into where we now spend some of our dream time hours. Kinda like when I put out my snow shovel to ward off early snowstorms.

So away she goes...

I went shopping today, and it was a huge Goodwill type of second-hand clothing store....
when suddenly this tiny kitten ran down a passage in front of me...
and everyone else was ignoring it, so I picked it up and took it to the cashier's desk and asked who that kitten belonged to...and apparently someone had thrown a bag into the doorway minutes earlier and left these two tiny (6 weeks) kittens abandoned...hoping someone would take them home. I asked her to make an announcement on the speaker system that here was a gorgeous kitten, in need of a loving home... Not even that they would agree to...so I had to go up to the other shoppers one by one, and no one wanted the kitten...some looked at it as if it were a snake or spider...

Well, after a long search I ended up finding someone in there who was willing to take one of them...
but I had to buy her the bag that she could carry it home in, as she was traveling by bus....
the second kitten I carried around with me unable to convince any of the other two dozen people to get themselves some decent cat karma and take her home...
so when finally my husband arrived to pick me up he wasn't happy at all at the prospect of owning four cats...
so I had to stop at the vet shop and asked them to find a home, ...they then charged me $5 to buy food for it while it lived there. So it all became quite a saga...
Then back in the car I realized I had postulated the scenario myself by telling the Villagers earlier in the day
that Costa Ricans don't like their domestic animals....so no wonder I manifested that reality.
In future I will postulate that all Costa Ricans are cat lovers...
even if I fell Im telling a lie.....? Hmmm....

It's a Libra thing....love me, please please!!!
Mirror, mirror, on the wall....
I'm sure all cat's are Libra in essence...
Just look at how they walk....

Meanwhile dogs are Aries...they are hyper, demanding, pushy, noisy,
idealize their masters, and hunt in packs.
Oh, and they smell bad.....

Cats and dogs are a perfect representation of the meaning behind "Service to self" and "Service to others," in my opinion.

Let's also not forget what Simon Parkes has to say about cats having to do with Reptilians...

What does Simon Parkes say? (But then again, I might be better off not knowing).

Simon says in Post #403: (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?30323-Simon-Parkes-about-Mantis-Aliens-Reptiles-and-other-aliens.&p=593757&viewfull=1#post593757)

"2) I have detected a deep knoweledge in your question, you know ? how do you know ?....... when a human is terrified it releases a chemical, to a reptuile this is like a drug. why do domestic cats " play" with mice before they eat them ? the same reason - the mouse also releases a chemical which makes the cat " high" I have made mention before regarding the link between the cat and the Draconis. The only way that the draconis will leave the earth is if they are made to, and/or some changes take place which make it harder for these beings to get through to this reality. Here is the issue, jesues said " turn the other cheek" but in these creatures case a different approach is required."

So not only did Simon's Reptilian relatives suggest to him that he keep cats around because the cats' Reptilian eyes will remind him of his Reptilian roots, but he also suggests that cats's genetics were purposely manipulated by Reptilians in Post #296: (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?30323-Simon-Parkes-about-Mantis-Aliens-Reptiles-and-other-aliens.&p=590319&viewfull=1#post590319)

"To answer your question, the Feline species from the Systen Orion and Sirius were them selves altered by draconis reptilies, it made perfect sence to the draconis to thuis alter some species here on earth that had some resemblance to them. However as any "good" ufo/alien researcher knows the draconis were/are expert at genitic manupilation and they changed a few other species as well. Ok some men like dogs cos they can take them for walks and be big and proud, its more of a status symbol than a companion, I have known many such men, just as I have iknows some guys who have a loving relationship with their dog and they take it out for exercise and to let it be in nature. I knew a guy who got an Afghan Hound in the hope that pretty women would stop to chat and he might get sex from this. So who knows why people get them, must be a 100 reasons lol I just need the "reptile" eyes and gentiics around me."

So if cats were manipulated by Reptilians, it would make sense that they exhibit "service to self" characteristics. This is why they, to me, seem so "stuck up" and unwilling to show "love" without gaining something in return. :p

I've been asking myself similar questions recently. Honestly, whenever I think of forcing everything one way or another, I get the impression that I'm missing the point. That it's dishonest in some way...

The best answer I can come up with is to refrain from making generalizations, or at least not taking them as seriously when they occur. That allows more freedom to see what else is there in any given situation. Then, because there is clearer vision, anything I do would be much more effective, direct, and to the point. Interaction in any form reaches its conclusion much more efficiently, without the missed connections. Then I might just find that while I'm trying to save a kitten or turtle or whatever from imminent demise, that it leads to something completely different... another connection, words overheard in conversation, that sort of thing... maybe life is more about those fine threads, the connections leading outwards (or inwards) than the things and concepts themselves...

Well said, Gekko. Our animals really are servants in that they teach us all these lessons...
how to be loving and yet remain detached.
Becoming comfortable with paradoxes, wherever they may show up.
Yet our greatest urges are to have security in all things, and then hand it out to creatures weaker than ourselves.

The picture below was taken by my husband soon after we found the kitten, (who looks just like our older cat) The statue was made by my mother-in-law when my husband was five years old, and she was taking art lessons....
(he was the sixth child, with three more to follow)
Anyway, we found this statue abandoned in a weedy patch of the property and my mother-in-law could not believe her eyes when she rediscovered it after so many years.

The first time I came courting my girlfriend we went for a long drive in the country. I was trying so hard to be adult about it, and tell her how I felt, but my shyness wouldn't allow it. So silly since we both knew why I was there and why she had agreed to go on this ride. So the time came to take her home and still I hesitated, only being able to say that I found her interesting, or some such tripe, when what I wanted was to reach out and pull her close. She asked me if I wanted to come by after dinner to watch some TV. I said yes.

Val went up to her apartment and found two pigeons on her dresser in tyhe bedroom, cooing contentedly. She had to shoo them out the window. When I came by and she told me I said they were love doves and they liked the feel of those newly in love. I told her it was a sign, a very good one.

Not a few hours after I left, another pair of pigeons flew between the panes of glass in the living room! Aparently, there was little doubt in the avian community that we would become an item.

The biggest lie we are told is that the human being is capable of random thoughts. Every bizarre thing that floats through your mind is predicated on the entire cantenation of your lives past and present. For example while in meditation, I just visualized a bowl of fruit loops. Was I seeing this because I am surrounded by photographs of techno colored fish? This is left brain reasoning. I could sit here and take apart the reality of sugary breakfast fodder, try to make it fit into my present circumstance. Think about when I was a child, and how the different flavors would pop onto the roof of my mouth, like some preservative laced stale cake and appreciate it now, with all the sophistication of a wine tasting at Chateau La Tour. My love is eating raspberries and telling me to have some while they are fresh - he says "Life is good" -- yes too good to eat Fruit Loops - I conclude that I have just been told to live authentically...

Nanoo Nanoo: "... please say goodbye to my loved ones on avalon for me."

i was on a train once a few years ago in the sacred valley on the way to machu pichu... the train was a big blue diesel monster but inside it was quiet and comfortable. up top the roof was glass so passengers could see the valleys and mountains.

in the seat across the isle from me was an elgerly man and woman couple. she was a loving woman , holding the hand of her man with a look of hope in her eyes.. he was looking down with heavy thick glasses tinted black . . .

i could sence the man had problems with his eye sight .. and was having trouble seeing .. hence why in this beautiful place he stared at the table in front of him. . .

i had an over whelming sence to help the man and with this i asked for the gods to let me heal his eyes... so i connected with him , without permission . . and i worked on this mans eyes . . . about 10 minutes later i saw drops of water stream down his face . . . and he took off his glasses . . . he looked at his wife and asked to grab the camera . . . and he started to eagerly take photos of the landscape . . .

i did not have permission and this goes against my normal way however i had a feeling this man came to machu pichu for a miracle , and the gods saw fit for me to see if he had the good karma to receive one . . . i felt in my heart he was a good man, mostly because of the love and respect his wife showed him and he had a kind face. I saw fit as a healer to facilitate the energy transfer in a way that would not shock or inbue fear in the man. . . had he have known he was about to be healed he would not have been so relaxed , had i have gotten permission he would perhaps been fearful. . . both instances could hamper healing.

miracles happen every day

why did this miracle happen to this man ? because he followed his heart and because he showed great faith. the gods like this , this is someone we can work with .

this is someone who can pass on the story of healing , of faith and of love. what does this do ? it gives Hope. Hope and Faith when they meet with richeousness and benevolence make a power that no man or being or god can falter.

walk tall that you be one of these . . . the light shine down on you always in that you shall share all that you know with your fellow man and it was good.

Reilly , i share your analogy of the stars and healing modalities : 0 )

Here I am in reply with quotes. Yesterday was a busy day with my 3 year old grand daughter. I usually am exhausted after a day with her. We went to the pumpkin patch, played in leaves, took a walk.

I was trying to get a picture to give to her Mom for her birthday in January. I want to have it printed on canvas. It was a task to get her to hold still and smile. The one below was not the one chosen but thought it cute.

She did not care for the pumpkin patch, wanted to go to my house. We watched the Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin.

The only way to get her to smile was to say poopy! Bathroom humor works every time!

Transiten, I did think it such a coincidence with the bears, we must be connected. I felt a tug when I read you post.

Old people tend to like my music selection (and my car). I was at the pool hall with a friend yesterday and (as always) I put on about an hours worth of music. An older fellow who was practicing came up as I was shooting and gave me $5 and said he liked my music and to keep it going.

He says, "Boy you must be a bit older, you've an education, how do you know such good music?" He literally said that. I just told him how I'd be a toddler playing in the living room as my mom cleans the house and blasts Zeppelin on the vinyl.

So I figure since now were listening to music that he's paying for I gotta keep the old school tunes going. I start out with Santana, Oye Como Va. He comes walking right back up to me and says, "This is the first vinyl I've ever bought!"

Haha good times. I love that place.

Ever since a certain astro website closed (this year), it's been difficult to find a replacement astrological ephemeris of such completeness and perfection in simplicity and informational value. It was a chronological listing of all the critical alignments for the given year, with a 'weighting' given for each, in energetic levels that might be within the expression of the given alignment. No one else has done it to that level, from my knowledge.

Here's one that at least has 'months' listed, but just the basic alignments. With the old site, I'd be well aware that we are in a merc retro and would have planned my activities and understanding of flow - for it.

http://www.cafeastrology.com/monthlycalendar.html

the pdf on the above page link gives a great breakdown, in detail. But... the old graphical format from this other older now closed website, was the best 'quick informative look' I've ever seen.

Home after 2 weeks I just happened to look up and see the two bears from my childhood that i've placed on a cupboard where i keep my esoteric literature: one brown with a crack in the nose - almost identical to this one and the other white.... then i go to the Village and...

23297

Much love to you and all of the dear ones in the Village.

Hi Benevolent Bear! Met a woman today and we talked about her playing with her grandchildren and me spending time alone and playing for the first time with my brothers 5 year old granddaugher! I have no children and don't often have this kind of conversation. She is a traditional Christian and we had a very intense discussion about the concept of God and she actually listened to my "theories" and i even told her i'm an astrologer...

By the way Sweden has elected a woman as archbishop which is a big thing in European standards and she does not believe in Virgin birth and says that the muslims "Allah Akbar" means the same to her that "God is too vast to grasp" which of course upsets the conservatives.

Vulnerable, alive, open with hope
Aching at its' self imposed invisibility

Eagerly to be unwrapped with true joy

It is likewise with me, except move the sliver to the edge of the bed, with child 1 and child 2 in the middle, and my portion may be shared with any combination of nine cats. The sleeping arrangement, along with naptimes always falling at different times, has led my wife and I to suspect that child 1 is conspiring with child 2 to prevent any arrival of a child 3.

Edit to add, child 1 is prominently featured in my avatar photo.

Home after 2 weeks I just happened to look up and see the two bears from my childhood that i've placed on a cupboard where i keep my esoteric literature: one brown with a crack in the nose - almost identical to this one and the other white.... then i go to the Village and...

Mercury is veeeery slow going stationary and retrograde meaning communiation problems/delays/old themes and friends popping up. Now they are talking about Margie Kent designing clothes for Stevie Nicks which makes me think of ulli and the sweater she made for Paul McCartney! I've been unable to have any performance or voice liberation workshop for 2 years now due to the Lyme but i'm having more and more rushes of energy and lust to sing and i'm seriously considering picking up:

"When i get older loosing my hair, many years from now....will you still need me, will you still feed me when i'm sixty four" which i will turn within exactly 1 month on Nov 18 :music:

And now a female singer/songwriter is interviewed on Swedish radio...Sweden is very obsessed with youth...I recorded my first :humble: solo LP in 1971 when i was 22 and then my first hit of karma hit (no pun intended, just happened "by synchronicity, the universe is cheering me up) followed by two more every time i tried to have a come back

....and now she says it's very difficult for older women to succeed in the music industry and that women either have to sing beautifully, have big tits or be tough and sing rock and roll while men are allowed to "be themselves"..tell me something new:lalala:

....but this is slowly changing, now it's more Ok to write about your difficult feelings which i did 10 years ago and my friends reacted negatively...and actually i was too close to my problems...What!!! Now they say Stevie Nicks lost her hair!!! after cocain misuse and now after 10 years she is sixty-five and back on stage!

I'm off to my allotment, sun is shining...

By the way, why didn't the picture of cute bears follow me into the quote reply?
Mercury the trickster..and yesterday i missed my appointment with the dentist.

Well, Marlene was singing on stage into her eighties.....

qPUMAFhfRHk

Well Marlene Dietrich was a very established icon so that's why she could stay on top into old age, that goes for some female entertainers in Sweden also...anyway ulli thinking of your "instant karma manifestation Costa Ricans don't like cats" i should perhaps stop thinking "Women over 50 are not allowed to sing" which a male very famous 50+ left radical singer/songwriter recently stated on radio.

Yesterday as i stepped into my allotment (little communal area where you can grow your own veggies) a black cat sat on my toolbox! Never ever happened in the 20+ years i've had this place:panda: Found no cat, this came closest.

By the way have you heard "We are the Wanderers" with Lacy J Dalton? Perhaps i've mentioned this before and now Mercury retrograde brings her up again. I'm going to order her album "The last lost place" or something like that, noone seems to know about her in Sweden. She is in her 60:ies and has been around since the days of Joan Baez and Bob Dylan. She also experiences incredible syncs like during recording singing about an earthquake...it just happened nearby..

Oh now i hear on radieo that Marseille is the new "Capital City of Culture" nominated every year in Europe, my mother came from Marseille and she also tried to have a singing caréer that never happened, carrying around her pattern still? Well, i must have choosen to work with this this before reincarnating so things are at the moment the way they have to be because of everything that happened before manifested this moment..Mercury retrograde, up for review...and redirection?

History review all the time on the radio, Germany, Preussia while i'm reading The Synchronicity Key and timecycles where David W connects the dots between what happened in the 13 year War in 1400 and what's going on at the moment in the US....

Lyrics:

I want to live where soul meets body,
And let the sun wrap its arms around me,
And bathe my skin in water cool and cleansing,
And feel, feel what it's like to be new,
'Cause in my head there's a Greyhound station,
Where I send my thoughts to far-off destinations.
So they may have a chance of finding a place where,
They're far more suited than here.

BAda-bada ba-bah
bada ba-ba bada ba-bah
bada ba-ba bada-ba
bada bada-bah

I cannot guess what we'll discover,
When we turn the dirt with our palms cupped like shovels,
But I know our filthy hands can wash one another's,
And not one speck will remain.

And I do believe it's true that there are roads left in both of our shoes, But if the silence takes you then I hope it takes me too.
So brown eyes I hold you near, 'cause you're the only song I want to hear
A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere.

Where soul meets body.
Where soul meets body.
Where soul meets body.

And I do believe it's true that there are roads left in both of our shoes, But if the silence takes you then I hope it takes me too.
So brown eyes I hold you near, 'cause you're the only song I want to hear

Whatever post i watch now is about gold and stacks of money? Something collectively in the air synchronizing personally? They even talk about the goldreserves of banks on Swedish radio.

Has anyone come across interpretation of syncs? Just like one can interpet dreams synchronicities can be seen as "waking dreams"?

F.i the other night at a birthdayparty someone mentioned the "firemark" that Gorbatjov had on his forehead.

Later i was shown how to pinch the area between my eyebrows to relax. As i looked into the mirror i had a big "red mark" which has not yet disappeared.

I also mentioned Balzar von Platen who discovered the fridgidaire who my father happened to know. Before he died he said to my father "See you on another planet".

I called my father the next day and he told me: Balzar had a "firemark" on his face...

I had written new "lyrics" for "When you wish upon a star" referring to astrology for my Peruvian friend and one of the guests started a sceptical argument about astrology...:flame:

Today I discovered that my astrology teacher and friend Gerda Visconti died recently.
She was living in Malaga, Spain, having lived in London and LA, CA, before.
Had been fighting cancer for 12 years, refused chemo and radiation therapy,
and had been kept alive for years using MMS and graviola. She was 77.
She visited me while I was living in Barbados, and we went to Peru, Cusco and Machu Picchu together.
She was a great spirit--- Aquarius, with Aries rising and a Libra moon.
And her Venus in Capricorn, same degree as my Sun.
RIP Gerda.

Bless you, Ulli, and your teacher. So sorry for your loss.
I've had a share of sadness today too. We buried my cousin who was a year younger than me. She and I had a complex relationship but in recent years became close and found the love between us that we danced around too many years. More like sisters in many ways. I had thought I was handling the grief well, but tonight there's a deeper level of it, beginning anew.
Wishing I had another chance to say what she's meant to me.
Emily cat surprised me -- she has never been a cuddly one, being feral in her young life and not socialized to people ... she climbed up into my lap and purred to comfort me.
Love to All.
xx

I tend to not think of it as losing someone, but watching someone's back until they 'get out'. Another one goes free.

'Sure On This Shining Night' by Marten Lauridsen
Poem by James Agee, 1934

Sure on this shining night
Of star made shadows round,
Kindness must watch for me
This side the ground.
The late year lies down the north.
All is healed, all is health.
High summer holds the earth.
Hearts all whole.
Sure on this shining night I weep for wonder wand'ring far
alone
Of shadows on the stars.

I'm trying to figure where that "stream" typo came from. Trust you being the one to spot it. Not that I'm not grateful...I appreciate your eagle eyes.
For anyone who wants to figure out the workings of their own subconscious typos are a good place to start.
Let's see....I live by a stream now, and in my heart I'm still a punk,
so that 'stream punk' must be li'l ol' me, here and now.
In the eyes of the people who know me and my anti MSM stance,
this could become a fitting nick name in no time.
Should I mention this as an anecdote at lunch today? Tempting, tempting...
Or would my need to be the self-effacing entertainer act as a saboteur
to my need to be respected so I can play my role as an effective waker-upper?

P.S. more gratitude coming your way...you have no idea how handy this tip is right now...will be using a 12 m long string, marked at 3, 4 and 5, and instead of nails use wooden pegs, hammered in the ground.

Yes, I wouldn't dream of pointing out a slip without something interesting to be got out of it. I came across steampunk over the summer with reference to mixing timelines - imagine a Victorian era steampowered computer for instance. A stream is only very cool steam, and a common metaphor for passing time.

Well, this is what I like about you.

By the way, going "retro" and mixing time lines is exactly what fashion design is all about.
A collection that has no reference to some long forgotten look stands little chance of becoming successful.
People love mostly what they can recognize...it's that familiarity thing...without the contempt.
Contempt comes in later, when too much is too much.

Last night I got to talk to an old teacher. It has been months since I last talked to him.

On the last Mercury retrograde, certain things came to light about the behavior of a mutual friend.
I decided to cut ties with that friend ( an old childhood friend).
I did not know the details back then, but I just knew I did not need to be entangled in the karma she was making.

Last night, through the call with my teacher, a lot of things have been cleared up regarding that incident, and I was given confirmation that I made the right decision.

Mercury retrograde has been the joker with me most of the time, losing my emails, and getting my trinkets to misbehave.
But this time, it has given both myself and my teacher, an opportunity for healing.

Skyflower, it's good to read your story of a helpful Mercury retrograde. I have a strong Mercury influence, so I usually feel it as the trickster but have occasionally had that reaching-back effect too, where it brought up the past when it was ready to heal.

I hadn't known it was Mercury retrograde (October 21–November 10) until I read your post. I just now had a merc effect too -- one of the doctors I worked with a couple of years ago stopped by, Dr. E. He is one who favors integrative medicine and we always hit it off, with lots to talk about. He advises patients to get massage, do yoga, eat well, exercise, get osteopathic work, etc. And is very open to Reiki and energy work. The integrative med program lasted a couple of years and now both the doctors who headed it have left. Dr. E hopes to get back to a place of positive influence again. It's too easy to follow the mainstream of writing pill prescriptions, much more difficult to buck that trend. Doctors are human too and I've seen the good ones struggle with how to motivate people to be well.

Sending good vibes to all the allopaths, for positive change.

Light house lenses made into solar powered lamps

You might not expect it, but lighthouses are leading the way to more powerful solar panels in outer space and here on earth. The key is Fresnel lenses, which enabled 19th century lighthouses to focus a beam of light for many miles. Fast forward to the modern era and you’ll find NASA engineers using these lighter, thinner lenses to improve space-borne solar power – and scientists recently used Fresnel lenses to create a miniature photovoltaic system called the SolarVolt that can concentrate the sun’s rays 20 times.

The Village has become rather quiet lately....
My here and now, nothing exciting is happening...reading stuff some of which is more annoying than I would like....

For instance...(my pet peeve)
the latest regulations require that even the smallest country cabin in Costa Rica has 95 cm wide bathroom doors.
Who are these law makers?

Here is something that reflects the situation in the US:

For instance, did you know that it is a federal crime to be in possession of a lobster under a certain size?
It doesn’t matter if you bought it at a grocery store, if someone else gave it to you,
if it’s dead or alive, if you found it after it died of natural causes,
or even if you killed it while acting in self defense.
You can go to jail because of a lobster.

If the federal government had access to every email you’ve ever written
and every phone call you’ve ever made, it’s almost certain that they could find something
you’ve done which violates a provision in the 27,000 pages of federal statues
or 10,000 administrative regulations.
You probably do have something to hide, you just don’t know it yet.
And that’s just federal laws.

Crazy State Laws

Here is a small sample of state and local laws which are still on the books today:

Alabama

One is not allowed to play dominoes on Sundays
Men are not allowed to spit in front of the fairer sex
One is not allowed to wear a fake mustache to church

Alaska

It is legal to shoot bears, but walking up to a sleeping bear to take a photograph is strictly prohibited
It is prohibited to view a moose from an airplane....

The Alaska ones obviously come from wanting to protect harassment of wild life, but reaaaaally badly designed laws.

In montreal I cannot raise birds in my backyard (chickens, pidgeons, etc) nor rabbits. My two neighbours who have rabbits for their children and contrevening the the bylaw.

My mom have or had a land (we, the children, now own it), that was zoned agricultural. So we cannot sell it for residential. Fine. We have to dedicate it to agriculture. Fine. On it is a plantation of pine trees. There is another law saying that we cannot cut trees (they are Worth quite a lot by the way). So the land cannot be agricultural because we cannot cut the trees. And we cannot use is unless some trees are cut. So it lays dormant for the moment, not able to sell, not able to use, not able to work with it. Just obliged to pay the taxes on it. Duh....

It's a competition so only one person gets to meet all their relatives but all of them get the familytree so they can go back themselves later. They all scream and cry when they learn that they have been chosen.

In this new version actually all of them are met at the arrival with one of their relatives.

There are 8 million Americans with Swedish ancestors. There are 9 million Swedes in Sweden:cheers:

your problem is that it is not just land value, but the trees. Both. In some cases, it is the land and the buildings on it, but one is usually just a value that quietly rides along with the other. Either the buildings or the land is the dominant 'value'. In this case, trees, and then the property.

My guess is that no one wants to pay for both.

That potential buyers want one of the values contained therein.. essentially, for free. I'm sure you are familiar with this dilemma, though, as I figured this out in seconds, whereas you have had years to ponder it as a personal situation.

Ie, lets say the trees are worth $300k, and the land is worth $500k, but no one will offer you more than $400k-500k.

how many acres?

If it is big enough, and close enough to Mo-Re-All... maybe a subdivision is the way to go. Out the 10, 20, 15, 40, 50? Not too far out? Some of those highways are pretty horrible for getting in and out during the peak periods.

Well apart from the exacting square between Pluto and Uranus the Sun is conj retrograde Mercury in Scorpio sextiling Mars in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn, also trining Kiron in Pisces and a quintile to Uranus. Moon in Libra will trine Uranus in Aries and Sun will conjoin Saturn in some days in Scorpio, so sure there's a revolutionairy combo there. Sun also just conjoined the North Node in Scorpio so...

The trine from the Sun and Mercury to Kiron would also symbolize an opportunity to heal something that is wounded.

Mars in Virgo symbolizes "common pple" the working class or those living under "smaller circumstances" and the retrograding Mercury in Scorpio will continue digging up dark secrets from the "Plutocracy" ruling elites on different levels.

Just a quick check...hope i got it right since Mercury retrograde might have something to change..or add:nod:

Yes, we are near enough the city, in parcels it would worth millions (with an s). As a zoned land, it Worth below 500K. And you are right, trees are a side benefit or side problem and I bet if we sell, they will cut during night shifts and make the money out of the trees, which we did not dare doing.

We have to have it at least partly dezoned. That is where we are looking for solutions, building and old age housing project, building and sick recuperation place, name it, we are not sure, all we know is that if it is not a social endeaviour, we have about no chances. And that it will take years of hard work. And then, we could sell in a bulk. Up to then, pay the taxes.

This is similar in some ways to the farmers who cannot sell to their son/daughter. Because of the value of the land and the machinery, the government taxes are so heavy that the poor Young ones cannot pay the taxes in bulk and have to let the land go, and buy the neighbour's one.

I presently have a Young farmer's son in my house, his father is already buying land in his name because he knows he won't be able to take his father's land and the son wants to be a farmer - he is a hard worker little boy who has Learning difficulties. So the parent's are trying to plan ahead for him.

One way is to cut down the trees anyway. to ignore the law and just get it done. That is, if the trees displease you. To just..quietly..get it done.

If it was me, I'd investigate it first, to see if anyone else has ever attempted similar, and to see what their outcome was. (I would probably not be able to bring myself to cut them down - just sayin')

That may be something we would do but we are trying to look at other solutions, in order to integrate the trees. Any idea??? We thought of having it dezoned for a old age pension house, then for a cancer rehabilitation house (in nature not too far from the city), where the landscape is important, etc. We have been approach by horse stable but they do not have the money...

your problem is that it is not just land value, but the trees.

I don't understand how a tree plantation cannot be harvested. It would be the only farm crop that can't, and it would be very poor forest management that didn't include occasional logging. It sounds like residential byelaws are being applied to farmland.

Be that as it may, clearly whatever happens to the land, the trees are going to have to go. You could always leave a nice curtain along the roadside and remove the rest...

Those trees laws are laws enacted because of the forest savage cuttings that were going on. It was to stop the huge lumber companies to be literally savages and leave behind forest devastation. Of course it is not adapted to farmland, yet, we have to deal with it. We cannot even say we "farm" the trees, as any other farming that has to be taken in, because then the companies could say the same.

However, you just gave me a good idea, to check the laws for lumbers, those companies that planted trees on land supplied to them for lumbers, when do they have the rights to cut those trees they planted to renew the forest??

I have complete faith that having us as a group direct some attention and focus to your property
will quickly solve the problem.
Maybe we will check with you one year from now and you can tell the story how you did it.
Perhaps you could find someone trustworthy who has plenty of capital to invest in urbanizing it
and negotiate a win-win agreement whereby both sides can make more out of it than you ever could,
if you did it on your own.

Yes, uncontrolled logging is not the same as planting trees and going through the whole cycle. In the one case, there is a deficit, in the other there is zero loss over time. What conservationists forget is that maintaining a given number of trees or even expanding forests does not mean no logging at all.

Here and now...chilly outside. I think it will be a sunny day. Several things humming in my environment, would like to shut them completely off. Devin is laying at my feet. It is pep rally and football day. The house needs a once over, the never ending to do list. My mom once said that house cleaning is like stringing beads with no knot. I concur. Dropped Em at school, she is such a happy little soul. She likes to be silly, and just laugh or smile. That is helpful, I'm thankful. My foundations are being shaken, transformation can be quite often painful or difficult. Sometimes it ends well, it always ends, and there is always change.

Wanted to share this morning, no wisdom comes to mind. So you, my village friends, get mundane. C'est la vie...

Much Love,

More than one meaning ... another has to do with type of movement ...

lumbering

1 awkward in movement
2 moving with a rumbling sound

lumbering

awkward, blundering, bovine, bumbling, clumsy, elephantine, heavy, heavy-footed, hulking, lubberly, overgrown, ponderous, ungainly, unwieldy

So ... yes a lumbering lumberjack could have two meanings :)

(myself ... me thinks whoever came up with the English language didn't have humanity's best interest at heart ... but perhaps that's just me)

Some of the abiliies test I passed in my younger years (20's) and had quite high results. I pass them again, and if I do not correct for age, some of the tests I came out average. Here and now....reading this:

BRUSSELS (AP) — European leaders united in anger as they attended a summit overshadowed by reports of widespread U.S. spying on its allies — allegations German Chancellor Angela Merkel said had shattered trust in the Obama administration and undermined the crucial trans-Atlantic relationship.

The latest revelations that the U.S. National Security Agency swept up more than 70 million phone records in France and may have tapped Merkel's own cellphone brought denunciations Thursday from the French and German governments.

Merkel's unusually stern remarks as she arrived at the European Union gathering indicated she wasn't placated by a phone conversation she had Wednesday with President Barack Obama, or his personal assurances that the U.S. is not listening in on her calls now.

"We need trust among allies and partners," Merkel told reporters in Brussels. "Such trust now has to be built anew. This is what we have to think about."

"The United States of America and Europe face common challenges. We are allies," the German leader said. "But such an alliance can only be built on trust. That's why I repeat again: spying among friends, that cannot be."

Of course you are right. But she is still raising the issue of spying, and in a personal way.
So she wants some people to understand it is not ok.
Remember how many are still out there who are saying 'I have nothing to hide...so let them do it.'

Poachers are using chainsaws to get the ivory off of elephants....

They simply slice off the whole face and leave the animal lying there to die.
Apparently in Tansania alone it's one elephant every 15 minutes.
The market for this ivory is China. The same goes for Rhinos....no mercy killings...just cut off their horns..
This HAS to be halted.
I can't even repost the picture as I don't want anyone else to feel the distress and horror Im feeling now.
But it has to become known, and focused on, to stop this cruelty once and for all.

October
Robert Frost

O hushed October morning mild,
Thy leaves have ripened to the fall;
Tomorrow’s wind, if it be wild,
Should waste them all.
The crows above the forest call;
Tomorrow they may form and go.
O hushed October morning mild,
Begin the hours of this day slow.
Make the day seem to us less brief.
Hearts not averse to being beguiled,
Beguile us in the way you know.
Release one leaf at break of day;
At noon release another leaf;
One from our trees, one far away.
Retard the sun with gentle mist;
Enchant the land with amethyst.
Slow, slow!
For the grapes’ sake, if they were all,
Whose leaves already are burnt with frost,
Whose clustered fruit must else be lost—
For the grapes’ sake along the wall.

What I meant to say was, I miss you guys, and the light of understanding that shines from the words that are posted here on Ulli's, our, thread. I wish I could live amongst such humans every normal day. It is frustrating bringing the light to those living in the dark. It is rewarding of course, but it also requires me to uphold standards others do not see as meaningful. I think often of how others here would respond to the scenarios I come across at times. I catch myself often thinking if only we all could just get along, see the bigger picture, put our little self-concerns aside, rise to the occasion, stand up for what is right, that sort of thing. Like it was just a simple choice we could make in the very next moment, or the next or the one after that. The moments are just zipping by and the choice is still not made. But it could be the next moment...

The tension in the air is thick with this choice, hanging just beyond normal sight. It makes me feel like I need to run out and do something, change something - ACT! Doors are closing all around me - while other doors open wide. It is a wild and scary ride. I hope I'm up to the challenge. I hope I have done my homework. I hope hope is appropriate. I know exactly what you are saying. How many times have I been in that calm space...understanding all the issues, and responding perfectly, only to mess up big time a few days later. Now matter how much we grow, the universe always figures out a fresh way with which to test our resolve.
Just now I suffered a wave of anger at some guys who passed on the road above us, and who threw rocks down at us, nearly hitting one of the workers.
I was gardening once where they could see me, and they pelted me with stones, and as a result my husband raced up there and took a picture... there were two adolescent boys and a girl...the only people on that road. When he confronted them they blamed some guy on a bicycle...yeah right, ...anyway, husband reported the incidence to the head master of the local school, and showed him the picture. The kids were told off. Then the parents then made a stink about my husband taking those pictures...
Some people in the village know this family to be a criminal element who terrorize the neighborhood. So this stone throwing happens at least once a month now. We are going to build a tall awning there, to protect our yard. We dare not walk freely across our court yard.
I must be those solar flares.

Hmmmmm...I'll be right there and will chase 'em around the hills with BIG stick : )

that is about what I was thinking. I resolved a similar problems with my neighbour by being scarier to him than he was to me. Respect if now in, at least on the surface, what he says I do not care. But he did stop insulting the people coming to work on my lawn.

I do not appreciate to have to behave this scary way, but some do not understand otherwise.

Just found this and wanted to share...will probably put a link to it here and there on the forum...some of you have already seen it in the past, I'm sure.
It is a couple years old but I feel it is really taking hold now, now, now...most all of the things he talks about are actually coming together in some way, shape or form and the tides really are turning...BIG Time!!!

Here is what he says about the Bilderbergers..."it's a load of nobodies who wanna be somebodies,
combining with somebodies who are on their way down. I'm not impressed."
Cool dude.

It must be those solar flares.

It is. I can feel the tension, right now.

And the 'left' of the people.... is going to eat the sharks. The least the power structure can expect is that humanity is collectively going to beat them to death. The tolerance is breaking.

I'm busy training some friends as well as a cousin how to control weather.
They are worried about losing their roofs near Hamburg in the approaching storm.
People need to learn how to modify the storms in their tea cups.

Here is an alternative for tent dwellers who want to remain invisible.
Since my Eco Village idea is not materializing as fast as it should, due to lack of funds,
I was thinking of starting a camping ground instead....

Good morning, team. :)

I rarely get a full night's rest these days. How much of it is because of my mattress and the noise, I don't know, although the same thing often happens at my parent's house. Waking around 5am, and if I dare go to bed early, more like 3am. My sister was visiting this past weekend and she mentioned that she's been waking up at 4am every day. I don't use facebook much, but one of my contacts mentioned a few weeks ago all the status updates reporting insomnia.

I awake tense; this is the time when stored emotion is most apparent. It likes to remain as generalized tension within the body and nagging chatter within the mind. I notice that I usually experience my body in a curiously vague and nonspecific way, likely through most of my life, not really noticing where discomfort is occurring and how it feels, even as it drives decision-making and the urge to seek distraction. Locating sources of pain actually takes some time and concentration, contrary to the commonsense notion that physical pain would be immediately apparent. Perhaps some of it has to do with multiple areas being affected simultaneously.

When I proceed to breathe deeply and trace its origin, it ping pongs around the body. Though, it spends much time in the 'balloon' in my stomach and the 'noose' around my throat. Compulsive swallowing, choking. Back down to the stomach where it cooks for a while. Pressure behind eyes. I know it wants to come out. More swallowing. Lost it again. Where is it? Mental chatter. Around in circles...

I can't look people in the eyes and talk honestly, sincerely, without feeling as if I would barf it all out on the spot. It could be a discussion about toilet paper. Makes no difference. The subtler, human element is present and asking through every communication.

Trust me, Gekko, it's just a phase. Alternating your attention on the inside and outside is still new, and so it's bound to feel weird. Remember most people only look out, and complain to others when their body sends signals like pain, or other abnormalities. Really observing and studying the self, the way a scientist would look at an insect under a microscope, with great interest yet emotional detachment, takes some time getting used to. But it is the fastest method there is for getting the ego under control.
Hang in there....you are doing great...
