This video should turn anyone into a believer.
While I believe in love I find suspicion leaves the building.
Thanks Wind.
What I understood is, it is a sad story for wild animal lovers who get close to the wild get caught wild virus. Poor dog got rabies because of owners ego and joys.

I think we understand that. it is the connection potentials that are important. the ability to connect. If we don't..., then it's war war war, and paranoid isolationism...for all time. which has been our problem.
So I'll take the chance of rabies over that. Small risk vs constant unending isolationism and death. Not a difficult choice, in my mind.

Carmody, your 1% sounds like the extra matter over antimatter that makes up the material universe, which is itself possibly just 1% of the entire universe. If we keep going, the 1% that is causing us grief ought ot become vanishingly small.

Just vaccinate the dog. Vaccins are offered to all dogs and cats against rabbie in Canada/USA. And fox are renown, as well as raccoons, for being rabies carriers. Vaccination would have protected the dog. The owner just did no know he could have it all, the fox friendship and the dog surviving and enjoying it.

That is simply not true . NOT all foxes have rabies, and it is highly improbable for a fox from Norway to have rabies !
Contrary to popular myth, there are no carriers of rabies, all infected animals are sick animals.
Yes, that is my understanding as well, that all who contract rabies, die. That it is similar to prion diseases in capacity to survive harsh environments... and can be active for quite some time, even in the corpse. which is what strongly aids it's spreading.
Anyway, my post count is still 2000 below, it is not a thing i worry about, even as a game...
Reminds me of the concerns in entering into emotional entanglement, how it blocks and shifts our views that should be, but are not. About the The Alan Watts video that donk Listed, about death and our issues that surround it, it was quite amusing and true. Amusement and death. Odd combination that.
Which brings things 'round back to these thoughts about ley lines, 800 disappeared soldiers, influence, and so on.

I did not know that carriers meant silent carriers only. I tought that carriers meant all, silent and sick ones.
For rabbies, there is no silent carrier, I agree, but there is sick ones carrying it to others. I may be wrong with this twisted English grammar and wording though.
My cat is vaccinated against rabbies..... to prevent it. Once contracted though, you have something like 1 day to get the vaccination, after this it is too late. I had 2 friends bitten, one in El Salvador, the other in Québec. Both went for the rabbies vaccine right away something like 10 shots around the navel (don't know why). You have to do it before the germ grows and spread in he body, before developing any antibodies.

MMS might be the thing for immediate rabies relief. I'd be interested in looking into that.
from the net:
I understand that one of the problems with the virus is that once it
> enters the brain, the Brain-Blood Barrier prevents immune cells from
> attacikng it. But if it has not got that far, would they not attack
> it, as they do most other viruses?
This may indicate that the blood brain barrier breakdown issue from using cell phones, may just come in handy, for once.

The principal rabies hosts today are wild carnivores and bats. If self claimed experts isolate those living being from the Mother nature it would have make your hypotheses true. Nature has it's own rules, even though you do not want to believe.

Good move.
An obsession with round numbers is just the poor man’s version of the occultists’ obsession with so-called important numbers. In actual fact all numbers are equally important and hold each other together.
More specifically regarding numbers ending with zeroes, Maurice Cotterell has an interesting explanation for how the Maya may have had a ‘nine-based decimal system that was half as complex as today’s 10-based decimal system’, by replacing 1 with 9/9 = 0.999999, 10 with 9.999999 etc. A bit complicated to sum up in two sentences, but you get the idea. There is always a tiny bit missing.

I'm more worried about post #9999. It might have more significance in that the numerology implicated that is juxtaposed against the potential message, could induce energetic implications which would potentially influence the exegesis of the subsequent post when it's imminent arrival is about to manifest in the physical world of contextual linguistics and etymological symbology of the explicate and implicate order of the cosmos and all relevant integers which may coalesce with these energies and move us into more of a unified consciousness, or hurl us into the abysmal low frequency energies of the dark underworld of our own dualistic nature and that of the host planet within which we all dwell in third dimensional physicality and create the manifestations which we see as solid within the hologram of our five physical senses when those chakra sensations and the etheric layers of our field are disharmonious with the other perspectives which we may extrapolate from the content of the post.

This morning's remembered dream, was about how I was playing with a technical item that had an eyepiece, working with it, and playing with it's lighting. A microscope of some sort. As I did so..I wandered into a office of area that had lots of people milling about. I worked there, with this microscope type device, at the same time they looked at me, but did not interfere, and we sort of communicated. They watched me and i watched them, both interacting in a general way.
I'm supposed to be working right now, and I'm playing with an issue concerning a light source for a binocular microscope, so I can get to work with it, and use it for it's intended purpose, in this particular bit of work. At the same time I'm interacting with the lot of you.
So, in effect, that is how, in my case, allegorical representation happens in the case of seeing things out of time.
Both forward and backward. Events have echos, in time, both forward and backward. Like ripples in a pond. In the same way that we look at the depths of history, and arrive that conclusions that are colored by our now events and minds, and do not understand the data as it really is..as we are not there and the people and components of that time are different than what our now is. So our misinterpretation of history inevitable and complete. Context and relation are impossible to ingest in perfection. one would have to visit that time and be of that time, and then it could not be recovered to this place.
Which is what makes historians, who try and interpret such things into today's frameworks, it makes them storytellers, who fabricate and translate, at the same time.
Empathy might help with this. As does connection.
When I look forward in time, or interpret this forward time data, I have the same issues as the historian. Context is wrong, data is translated incorrectly, my internal imagining of the data is tied to what is in me and my mind, in that moment and in my overall interpretation of visualizations, feelings and emotions.
The inevitable conclusion from that, is.... if one is full of fear, trepidation, off balance, skewed emotions, and so on...all of that mind and area of life as a being in a monkey based avatar....then their projection for the future will be a confusing mess of disaster.
I've written about this sort of conclusion from the data I witness before, but I think it bears repeating from, er, pardon the pun....time to time. As I've said before, if I return to the time in the womb, and before, then this time sense is translated in a way that has far less human contextual overlay.
At such a point, the desire to communicate and the reasons for it, all of that dissipates and I go silent. So I'd like to go clear again, but that would preclude communication as it stands now. And for the moment, I feel that this communication is far more important than my silence.

We may try to have Carmody bend a little, who has an incredibly interesting science article with itchy tentation for debate? lol I meant itchy temptation, almost forgot I was in English ;)
I'd be worried sick. carmody is sitting at 7999 and must be in deep trance meditation over the content of his 8000 post, while Ulli still has a few more to go before she hits her most important milestone. But what about Calz who already passed the 8000 mark? Are we going to hold him to the same standard? And what about you Flash? You're coming right up against 5000. You got any existential epiphanies you gonna share?

But I'll put this picture here anyway, as it was a good indicator

Well done Carmody!!
So here it is.
Everyone is allowed to jump in....
and extract the hidden gems.
(One hint, guys.....look for the polarities.....)

Never mind, araucaria.
Gripreaper has done it again...
He pointed the way, and I'm very grateful he did.
And yes, the warning is heeded...
there are energies at work between numbers, especially
As there is an audience projecting meaning...
Which is the real determinator of outcome.
The readership, which has sent back mirroring energies
to each and every one of the last 37000+ posts,
and this created a critical mass here, with more and more people discovering that
there is no power in speculating the future, nor dissecting the past, unless such an act
gives rise to real-time energies in the now.

So, out of over 782,835 posts at Avalon, with over 37,320 posts in this thread, and 10,000 posts by Ulli, anyone care to do the numerology on that?
Billy
10th January 2014, 22:36
The numbers all add up here. with permission from a very dear sister.
I had to think a bit whether to put this post on the Here and Now thread, which feels more like my home turf, or place it here in Camilo's thread.
As I said earlier, had it not ben for you creating it I might never have noticed that I was anywhere near 10,000.
So I've been wound up to do something special with this post...
and thought I would just do one of these summaries I'm so fond of...as clarity is my favorite state of being.
Which is an indicator of my least favorite state...confusion.
When I first came to Avalon I was hoping to make some contribution towards the arts...and inspire people to access their own inner well of creativity.
I recall posting a few things back then about Banksy, the elusive street artist whom I admire greatly. His social conscience reflects mine.
http://www.polartbears.fr/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/20101226185607h.jpg
But then I got caught up in the Charles Atticus stuff, and spent weeks trying to figure out who was what. Confusing times, yet those times helped to lay the foundation for my Avalon addiction. As Bill Ryan said once ..."Avalon is like our world in miniature" and how right he was.
And now I believe this more than ever...because the communities we are creating here are Avalon will be casting light beams and shadows over the big world outside.
Later came my episode with the astrology thread I started and although it never went very far, as in no time I was overloaded with requests for birth charts readings, it did make me a few friends whom I love and value dearly, and who are still members of the Here and Now Village.
But once the idea formed of letting go for a while of conspiracy stuff, and far distant civilizations which span eons, and instead move right into our inner center ...the more personal here and now, there was no stopping me. I became the posting freak I am today.
Well, guys, I can't describe how wonderful this experience has been for me. I want to thank each and everyone of you. Some people have left and then returned (like Markoid, yesterday...nice birthday surprise) but the main core group stuck together all this time.
So, to share our inner world with one another has created real energy nodes around the globe. Never did I expect it to last more than a few months, but it took on a life of it's own.
And the healing we received there was real, for many of us...not just placebo stuff, or imagination.
The growth which community life has to offer was real, and is still an ongoing process. We are an organic system.
And to then have the support and the protection from the forum moderators, and Bill Ryan himself joining our 2nd birthday party...all this helped create a secure haven for not just the members but also guests who read along, one of whom even traced me down on Facebook just to let me know how much she was enjoying the Village, even though she is not a member of Avalon.
So what can one say other than express gratitude?
Ah, yes, the six heart virtues of the Wingmakers:
Appreciation, compassion, forgiveness, humility, understanding, valor.
http://ts3.mm.bing.net/th?id=H.5057943661707546&pid=15.1

I never knew the lyrics before. Never bothered to look. A quite intelligent song.
hmm. how to move a soul from the depths of unyielding recursive self reflection. One has be able go in there, be at the bottom, match up, then take them out, to the heights.
And they put that in the lyrics, in a round about way.
After all this time, zep shows me a side I did not know they had. Or Jimmy, actually who wrote it. Correction: "Jimmy Page and Robert Plant (with contributions from John Bonham)".
And it shows. Bonzo's drumming style is integral to the presentation. He knew how to nail the mood and the core of the beat, as he moved it round. Anyone else doing it..well..it just..won't....

I've spent my time right now, with my eye up to a binocular microscope, dealing with a problem in some work I'm doing. besides the lighting problem from the dream. Both. the problem and the lighting problem showed up in the dream. A lighting problem for the binocular microscope. I had to switch light sources and try and find the correct lighting angles. same as the dream. The lighting in the view in the microscope changed.
I'm focused right now and the dreams are aligning to be more accurate and true to the reality frameworks my mind uses.

"Kashmir"
Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed
Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear
But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear
Oh, oh.
Oh, I been flying... mama, there ain't no denyin'
I've been flying, ain't no denyin', no denyin'
All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land
Trying to find, trying to find where I've been.
Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dream
Heed the path that led me to that place, yellow desert stream
My Shangri-La beneath the summer moon, I will return again
Sure as the dust that floats high in June, when movin' through Kashmir.
Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails, across the sea of years
With no provision but an open face, along the straits of fear
Ohh.
When I'm on, when I'm on my way, yeah
When I see, when I see the way, you stay-yeah
Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, when I'm down...
Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, well I'm down, so down
Ooh, my baby, oooh, my baby, let me take you there
Let me take you there. Let me take you there

You know, I have recently been reminded that emotions are my own business. It isn't as if all the people (and circumstances) I come in contact with each hold a supply of spray cans, each containing an energy with a particular frequency which corresponds to an emotional "feeling," spraying me down with one of his or her (or its) choosing. It isn't as if I come in contact with a particular person who has decided that anger is the spray of the day...so he/she pulls out the can of anger and covers me in it. Or despair...or joy...or any of them. Although it does feel to me much like this, this is not the case.
What each and every person (or circumstance) holds is a trigger. And when pulled, the trigger releases what is already resting somewhere inside. I guess like a grenade actually, he/she pulls the pin and tosses it to me. I forget to catch it and throw it. It bypasses my hands altogether and goes off. Right in my core. (In the corresponding area, much like that visual.)
In addition, there are times when this is not directed at me at all. Times when somehow I act as a sponge or a filter. Absorbing something unconsciously. Driving through a city, being in a crowd of people, or even being at home with someone who is upset.
And where it used to get tricky is that I didn't realize either one of these things. And in the midst of this I would sit. And feeeeeeeel it. Experience it.
Now I realize. So now where it gets tricky is catching myself earlier and earlier, the goal being before I'm sitting in the middle of it. It is also difficult, apparently, for me to remember to release it and knowing which method of release to use. Maybe releasing it is difficult because there is a very simple release, like breathing or tapping, and there is the more difficult release of experiencing it so that it moves through on its own.

Made me chuckle, Johnny. I doubt anyone knows what I'm talking about, most usually. Including me haha.
Oh, and also...my posts...well, if they get a response, that is always well and good. And I appreciate everyone and every one. But...I usually talk to myself in the Village, so I expect most people to just see me musing over here in my hut. Villagers smile and the walk by and sometimes wave. If my posts don't spark a response, I'm just as happy with that. This ends up being a place where I am allowed to figure things out. There is nowhere else I can do this actually. So I've experienced immeasurable growth simply because I have been accepted here.
I'm just weird :)

Much Love,
Surprisingly some of us do understand or get what you are talking about 1inMany.;) But often we will not respond, just a nod with the thanks button.
Because we know it is sufficient.
Because we all do the same here, we talk to others while talking to oneself, which does not require a response.
With equal respect to one inner self and to others. This is why it runs so smoothy, with some Wise help at times.
Do we call this inner freedom?

All non-hostile contributions are welcome here, and get thanked, at least from me.
But my responses, or lack thereof, may not be what is expected.
Yet those who seek wisdom may find wisdom in their discovery of what it is they are expecting here.
Because that expectation is a direct signal, of what areas need to be looked at, to fill that neediness.
Let's take memory lane, for instance.
Personally, one or two songs that trigger pleasant memories are fine with me,
but then the ol' ADD kicks in. As soon my past needs are met, I turn to see what future I wish to create.
Before finally settling again in my NOW state of just being.
The older Villagers know by now that my attention span is that of a gnat,
and that I switch between these three areas fairly frequently...
Cliff Richards lives in Barbados, a small island in the Caribbean
where most houses are within a stones throw of each other.
One not only sees people in the local supermarket, (and yes, he carries his own shopping bags)
but one hears more than they would like you to know.
What he gets up to there can be accessed in Denmark just as easily as in New York.
By the way, Barbados was kick-started as a paradise by the British Royals,
and maybe if you read Cidersomerset's Jimmy Saville thread you get the idea.
Oh, and as Churchill once said: the only reason this is becoming a long letter is
because I don't have the time to write a short one.

I still like this song, because of the words.
"Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense."

Although the whole think ends up being quite funny and somwhat fitting the circumstances, IT WAS NOT WILLFUL from me. The Wise help at times, with uppercase W, therefore the association, was unintentional. I can't believe.
You see, I am French speaking, most of my days are in French, most of my writing too (not my reading though). In French we almost do not use uppercase letters. So, I am often very lost when it comes to the uppercase usage in English.
Furthermore, my software auto corrector is set up for French, and can adapt to English, but I think that Microsoft has a glitch in the setting for 2 languages because it goes nuts with the uppercase usage in English (as I do) but this time with much too many.
I am constantly editing my texts for grammar mistakes i make in English and for wrong uppercases, when i see it, which is not obvious to me.
Now I must admit I should have shut up, i would have looked brighter, more intelligent, because the whole thing with capital W is in fact funny, it makes for an astute joke.
I can't help it, born in French Québec, sorry.;)

The 10K post thread will slowly die out and there is some jewels in that thread.
Anyhow, I posted my pondering there and will here to, following a post by Carmody on the other thread and my answer then and now.
I am revisiting my post here. I now completely agree with you Carmody. Wow, things change fast in my today's views, although cosmically or for some of you guys I may be reaaaally slow - spiritual IQ slowly getting there i presume.
Love, to me, is not built on ignorance, nor blocking truth. Nor is it built on living in a war against the things considered to be destroying love or what love means. Nor does the state of the world preclude the idea and essence of living love or living and being in love, simply due to the world's imbalance. As a matter of fact, it is important to live in love in the most difficult of conditions.
This 'battle' is far from over and it will, essentially - never be over. Vigilance will always need to be part of the core of the self. Being of correct mindedness. To relax is to slip into nothingness and chaos.
All you can do is make it the best world you can, and stay on guard.
Forever. Correct mindedness, it gets easier as we approach the goal, the load lessens. It is the lighter end of the load, instead of the heavy we feel we have now. (there are worse realities out there....!)
And that is where we have slipped up, we have been lulled to sleep, deceived, distracted, turned from ourselves. Ultimately, we have done it to ourselves, and have only ourselves to blame, no matter what we think we see out there. a minimum of half of what we think of as the energetic situation, is in our hands... if not all of the blame lying at our feet. In it's entirety - residing on our plate. Be the world you want to see.
Knowing and being...can only exist in the face of contrasts, differentials... so black/white is required to be available, in order to understand white/black... or vice-versa.
So we struggle our way through an eternity and universe of shades. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Vd195Ph9dI)
I see it a tiny bit differently. I see it more as breathing. Correct mindedness yes, in a breathing fashion. Some relax, some attention, some relax, some attention, I think both are needed, in their times and when wisely applied, there is no chaos or collapse. The correct mindedness is, in part, to know when/how to relax and when/how to be full attention, which leads to a constant subtle tension.
For the rest of your post, i am 100% with you (at least in theory, hopefully in practice soon as well).

Some people didn't find my #10,000, and asked me what happened to it.
I guess they expected to find it here, and even though it was linked and copied,
per request I will copy it once more.
Also, since it was in an off-topic thread it was even harder to find.
So here it is, once more.
The next lot will have to use the search engine to look for it.

Well, I had an opportunity (my first opportunity) to present The Reset Button concepts in a public venue, with (at least some of) the type of folks that I had hoped to share it with. (A small symposium of "political progressives.") It was also the culmination of a major revision to the document at the core, as well as creating yet another new website to host it. Last, last, minute modifications and some technical glitches with the new website kept me awake until about 4:00am, and stole my time for gathering my thoughts to put forth a "killer" presentation. So, it was not polished, but was well-received and I did notice that my presentation was one of only a few where the background chatter at the edges of the room stopped (people were listening.)
Europeans take month-long vacations. My spirit guide has been on vacation for about 40 years (give or take a few years), and so (sans any spirit-based confirmation), I can only guess, intellectually and with my gut, that this work was at least one of the most important things I needed to do during this incarnation. I told my daughter today that if I had not done this, if I had held this inside of me and not even tried, that I would most certainly have looked back later in life with deep regret.
I feel that what happens next is almost completely out of my hands, and I will be happy when I can say "completely." Either it sparks others forward, or it does not. If it does, those who take it forward will drastically and positively change the world by changing the political core of the most influential nation in the world.
Peaceful dreams,

Was just sharing my Here and now what's happening...
I know what this tread is for... Thank you for your input!
I too felt this video was out of place here. Since you thought otherwise, I feel I need to explore this little difference of opinion. I’m not sure you really do understand what this thread is about.
What Ulli means by pooling energies, for me at least, is sharing in the sense of giving rather than taking, and positive energies rather than mixed or negative ones. This means bringing a personal contribution however tiny. Dumping a video like this is more about taking other people’s time reacting and/or viewing with practically no personal input, and it is not a method I would recommend elsewhere on the forum either. Why would anyone want to follow a link that supposedly expresses general truth while calling for ‘deception filters’? There is another word for disseminating deception as well as truth, and that is disinformation. You would at the very least need to place this material into some context of your own, confronting it with something else, which is how it can be evaluated.
What happens when this minimum personal effort is not forthcoming is that posters come in to do the spadework, which gets systematically rejected with comments like ‘you haven’t seen this other video’, or ‘you have seen the video but you haven’t read the book’. We still get threads like this on the forum unfortunately. It is a form of trolling and everything that this Here and Now thread is not. A web bot could have made your previous post. Try again and see the difference.

Hey Purple Lama, I think this guy's rock collection has yours beat. Pretty impressive.
I confess, I involuntarily emitted a low, moaning noise when I laid my eyes upon those spheres.
Yesterday, I filled one hundred four inch peat pots with various dirts, and threw a heaping scoop of my azomite/leonardite combo, watered it in and topped them back off with a little more dirt. James actually handed me 78 of those pots, and placed them neatly in a row, and he did most of the watering to mix the clay into the soil. I was a feat of three year old attention, I must say. He was completely wore out, and covered with dirt from head to toe.

As for contributing to the thread, it can be tricky to find the mood and slip into it, at times. I work to not contribute negatively, or to disrupt, but it happens regardless. Yesterday seems like it was a day off for most folks who tend to be regular contributors to this thread. At least it felt like it. A posting hangover, a pause for reflection, maybe. It's like a meeting of language and intent, in some ways. Such a thing can be subtle, difficult to gain a foothold into, at times, for some. Part of it involves putting in the time, as we discover what the word time is. One of those words that has no purchase anywhere in this world, yet is used and lived by all. Time, conceptually, sits as an unrecognized infinity, like Pi, or god, or universe, or whatnot. Very few understand it, or even recognize that the enigma of it posits and sits within everything.
People want a better world they want a better place, but do not put in the time, to understand time. Time is not universal, but yet, what it represents, as reflection, most definitely is. Understanding time is a core point of coming clear of this place. Which takes us back to the holographic thread and some essential points in ancient philosophy, which again, in modern times, finally regain their meanings and intent to a more varied mass.
It will remain a difficult thing to express as the thing itself wanders. It wanders according to the astrological whims of the planet, one might say. More along the lines of the astrology of the moment than the astrology of the internally enforcing or internal drives. It involves the drives of self, but how that reflects into the flow of now, which is the astrology of the moment.
I find it interesting that this subject is now covered, and will unfold as it will. (http://nautil.us/issue/9/time/in-search-of-times-origin) Not all of the researchers are on the same page, and that ole' proofing mindset, means it will be a scientific thousand legged race that might take a year to move an inch.
Essentially: we are each cast differently, according to who we are born as, and are surrounded by...and we each grow and change differently. How does the given time and moment of now affect us? Is it mere self absorbed ego reflections, or an attempt to illustrate to the observer, and ourselves, that this moment of now, is the thing to be understood? Is there synchronicity in the differences? Is there difference in the synchronicity? How does this thing work, anyway? What is 'it'? (one of those core questions). and so on. But to flow in life regardless, swimming, discovering, and growing at the same time.

Well, we got the building permit, at last…for a tiny one bedroom cabin.
But it's a start. We have to reapply for each next step.
So we are starting this week, first by building a long narrow garage, very basic,
so we can store the first truckload of materials.
It things aren't bolted and secured they will disappear in no time.
We can't afford security guards, and the shed I have in mind will come in handy later on, anyway.

I've been through the wringer. Lit a fire, listening to it roar and pop. Learned something about burning this cedar, I tell ya. The fire consumes it but at the same time the whole piece of it feeds the fire. Powerful wood, that cedar.
Traveling through some consciousness, here and now. It isn't hard, per se. It is emotionally challenging. Best to do as Me, and not me. As who I am, and not the part I play here. Otherwise there are fears to face. Very difficult to stay in the being I am, when I'm not fully certain who that is exactly.
I got a gift. I am looking at it like it is a gift. K texted me. On the one hand, that is a huge step for her. Absolutely huge. Especially considering she disowned us just, what, a month ago. It is inconsequential subject matter. But *I* know how important it is. So I am grateful. And I am praying for wisdom each time I respond. On the other hand, I do not know if this will lead to more heartache. I hope not. I'm doing my part for that not to happen.
Odd. Things are just very...odd.
Much Love,
Oh my gosh. I just re-read this post. Holy crap. Do I really sound *that* different because of meditation? I only just started back at it, and I'm shocked. Sorry, just thinking out loud here. and now.

Consider the adding in of a simple alarm to the garage, or a motion sensitive light, for a start. One that can be seen from the main residence. A motion sensitive light switch, found in the hardware section of stores. Then plugging in a basic siren to the switch. Both to be installed in the interior of the garage. Wiring to the garage, or space. Total cost, $100, or so. Deterrent value, high.

@1,
Cedar is a dangerous wood to be burning indoors, so be careful. It's like handling a knife for the first time, and a parent helps the young one understand how to do it without damaging the self. When instructed in how to handle a fireplace, or more specifically, a woodstove...one of the first things explained in that initial list of do's and dont's...is..don't use cedar.
The combination of oils and heats is a recipe for chimney fires. Quite a bit like birch, which is also oily and creates combustible coatings on the chimney surfaces. creosote. Raw poplar wood is also a problem. Dried birch is fine in controlled levels and amounts, but it burns hot and fast, like cedar. Properly dried hardwoods are generally the wood of choice for woodstoves. Oak, Maple, etc. You may know these things already, but it bears saying, just in case.

I play a Cort A4 Bass guitar and the sound is exceptional and that's down to the wood used.
Its Maple --it gets sustained and deep notes because of the wood and a through neck as opposed to bolt on.
Yet a load of punch(Its all down to vibration.)
I play with a friend every week.

Not on our land- our land is on the river. The river is actually quite big (Rio Grande) and impossible to cross.
There is a rafting company that uses our land (where we currently live as renters) to launch their boats.

Take a sharp knife, and shave off portions of the cedar to be burnt in a regular fire. It works like and incense, that way. Dried cedar needles work for that, too....

Cedar, as I recall, is also known as the wood of the dead. Found that out when I found a stick and unwrapped it, felt like truth to me. And as they say, "the dead tell no tales." Pretty awesome moment for me.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet three lovely cats. Normally, I stear clear of cats because I find their behavior to be quite rude and distasteful.
But these cats were different. They were quite polite and didn't hiss at me or claw at me when I pet their bellies! All of you cat-lovers may feel some joy in me saying that I give more credit to cats now than ever...though there are still too many mean ones.
But I still had teary, itchy eyes all night because of my allergies towards them...;)

You can't be blamed for suffering from cat allergy,
nor should you feel bad for wanting to avoid them.
It must be hard for someone like you who has to stay away from people's houses nowadays
as more than ever people have cats.
I just swore at mine this morning for bringing in a songbird, and killing it before I could rescue it.
This is a major character flaw they have, apart from triggering allergies.
But cats always find me because they know I will feed them, and I don't know yet how all this will end.
For years I was looking for homes for cats, when I was living in town,
where people threw me their unwanted kittens over the garden fence.

What did I do to warrant such a comment, PurpleLama? By no means do I mean any offense when I talk about cats. It is subjective, of course, and in my last comment I specifically mentioned that I am giving cats the benefit of the doubt by warming up to them. I understand if you are passionate about cats, but much of what I say is riddled with satire and jest. :(
As far as reading the ENTIRE thread, I'd rather not. The past is nothing more than a story, and I'd rather see how my Villager friends are doing Here and Now. I'm sorry if you find some of my comments to be a personal attack to you, but I assure you this is not my intent. Let's all be happy, yes?

Calz, is that a siamese cat? I love cats just like any other animals too...
Almost exactly one year ago I was in a QHHT regression. The practitioner had a few cats, the other one was white and the other black if I remember correctly. For some reason they constantly tried to purr alongside me when I was laying down. They were very cute and calm, but curious... My dog is calm too, ahem, when he wants to that is. He also has quite a temper too, just like me. I wonder if he could ever get along with cats... I think that the cat would teach him some humility.

Thanks for opening the door for me to walk through, as I have become a Zapping Queen myself.
My biggest hurdle now is to make a website of my own….
but not feeling inspired at all. There is a site called Wix whatever,
where they have all these website templates, but I can't get going at all.
Equally I tried to make a website for my jewelry, but it never got off the ground.
I love to sit and just make those things, and each design is unique, but when it comes to selling, forget it.
I can only sell when people tell me "just shut up and take my money".
But I love nothing more than to just sit and chat with people. Lazy as can be. I blame you all.

part of it is about not being labelled, or found to have a label that can be attached. To not suffer from the bias inherent in a label. More to the point, so that others may not gain a label to let the bias grow in themselves, and have it spread to others via talk. Giving without expecting return; outside any of the more problematic mechanisms that the human mind can and will muster. Interpretation of what I do or say here, will be damaged. To contribute what I can, and to do it as cleanly and as clearly as possible. I have no internal need to be known by anyone, nor a desire to hide. It is what it is, nothing more, nothing less. Being a voice of conscience, does not necessarily require including a human wrapper. In some ways, it is best if it does not.

Ultimately, it is found to be made out of cardboard, if the walls are approached.
If one spends time urinating in fear, looking at those walls... which happens quite a bit for some... the walls do eventually become softened, making it easier to break out. The urine gets everywhere, stinks things up, and we eventually have to distance ourselves from the mess, or we run out of urine.
edit: It's the dark humour of reality, nothing more, nothing less. That no matter if an equation is written backward or forward, it still has all the same cues in it, the same beginnings and middles, and conclusions. For example, the math tells you that living in a mirror imaged world, in time, or whatever context is no different that it's reflection. That the understanding of this is a personal one to make, or -to reach. How one does it, whatever that thing may be...is their own manifestation. Choice and awareness.

Ok, Reflect on this then.
Just think how much urine is in this world,
but also how much water, ready to be absorbed
to have it's pure parts extracted in order to feed whoever drinks it,
before finally getting flushed out again as urine.
Next, how much myth was injected into this picture via photoshop,
and how much of their own fantasy each one who looks at it then brings to it.
I'm only mentioning this here as it coincided with the above post,
and I'm looking for the connection between the events.

I honestly believe this video would have been better off if you had made a separate thread.
Basically, this is a community where people pool their energies, as a group, which all newcomers

I understand that the fact that this thread has a large readership might be attractive to anyone seeking a platform,
but would still need to insist that the basic _community-building_ energy here be respected.
Ok... And I'm guessing if u took authority on this, speaking on behalf of everyone else here, I should hold u responsible for the following disinformation;
1. I am far beyond the first person to bring mixed n negative emos into this thread. Also this "tiny contribution" seems to stretch on and on in certain posts, other than mine, n plenty of inconclusive info is discussed for pages on this thread.
2. Saying I could have put more effort into this post says one thing about you, you jump to conclusions and accusations... And if a Web bot could have wrote up a paragraph like I did... Well then obviously you have evidence to back that up...
The only difference I feel between posting the video and now writing up paragraphs to you is emotional...
Talking down to me like u are doing created much more unnecessary negative vibes than my vid post!
And ps: we don't see the underlining truth of the universe because of personal filters and opinions... Thus I would suggest everyone to disclaimer and warn folk when posting anything! Because all and everything is matter of ego and personal and group beliefs...
Wouldn't be here discussing anything if truth was known there would be nothing left to discuss...
And another ps: this forum is based on disinformation, this whole movement is... A trap!
For someone who wants to keep this thread positive orientated, you sure have a funny way of defending such a principle by attacking wit egotistical accusations!
You are mistaken:
This thread is not about being positive.
It is about the process of forming a family-like environment where people can feel united and at home.
I simply suggested that the rather long video you posted could have had it's own thread,
to which you gave a discourteous reply. Araucaria then came in with his opinion, trying to help clarify some more.
You have now made it clear again that you really don't understand the purpose of this thread...
This is not a place for strangers simply barging in, and sharing hour-long videos, without giving at least some background.
Even the forum rules on the open forum discourage that.
It is a place for people who enter for the first time give at least some information about themselves,
so as to win the trust and respect of those who have been here for years and formed bonds.
You are very welcome to hang out with us, but if you want to leave good manners at the door
you will be reminded that the world is a huge place and that your particular energy can be more useful elsewhere.
It is about "blending in".
If you continue to be defensive and show no sign of willingness to cooperate
you will be reported to the moderators for disruption.
Your motives are in question right now.

There are a handful of us 'here and nowers' that are simply ole spiritual farts, as it were, and have looked into about every nook and cranny and dissected every angle of the extreme deceptions we questionably live by here on Mother Earth...doesn't make us better or 'more' of anything, for that matter, other than we have come to very personal conclusions that living in a giving and selfless way in the moment in front of us intertwined with some good heartfelt wisdom seems to be the best bet at getting us above and beyond all the claptrap...simply because there are more on Mother Earth doing this right now, right now...and it is becoming ALL there is because it IS actually a culminating of everything that will ultimately change everything, right now.

To understand this thread for what it is you first have to see that us regulars are all hermits, who have created a hermit community.
And yes, you tried.
If you are a hermit yourself you are more than welcome,

I wanna know did you get the feelin'?
Did you get it down in your soul?
I wanna know did you get the feelin'?
And did the feelin' grow?
Sometimes, when the spirit moves me
I can do many wondrous things
I wanna know when the spirit moves you
Did ye get healed?
I began to realise
It manifest in my life
In oh, so many ways
Every day I wanna talk about it
And walk about it
Everyday I wanna be closer
I wanna know did you get the feelin'?
Did you get it down in your soul?
I wanna know did you get the feelin'?
Did ye get healed?
I began to realise
Magic in my life
See it manifest in oh, so many ways
Every day is gettin' better and better
I wanna be daily walking close
It gets stronger when you get the feelin'
When you get it down in your soul
And it makes you feel good
And it makes you feel whole
When the spirit moves you
And it fills you through and through
Every morning and at the break of day

Hermit crabs and open doors – Avalon in general and the Village in particular is a strange place! The hermit crab sacrifices one claw in order to have the other even bigger than usual while benefiting from an extra tough artificial shell. I don’t think that is the type of animal we are talking about. And yet the issue is indeed one of security. The forum and this thread have both come under attack and defensive action is sometimes needed for their survival. There are occasionally false alarms when we fail to realize how our posts can be misinterpreted as something else, or rather, correctly interpreted as possibly being something else. If you forget your pyjamas and toothbrush at the airport, you will cause a security alert and your bag will be blown up, even if it also contains the only copy of your magnum opus as well.
I’m going for a different aquatic species. Years ago, I did some work in connection with research into the memory and eating habits of the cuttle-fish (sepia officinalis). Cephalopods generally (also including squid, octopus and nautilus) ‘are considered to be the most highly evolved marine invertebrates and possess elaborate sense organs, large brains and complex behaviour’ (Hanlon & Messenger, Cephalopod Behaviour). As I recall, the experiment involved testing the creature’s reactions to crab meat, either free to grab or enclosed in a test-tube. Basically, it is a fast learner, far from gullible, and will not readily break its teeth on glass when presented with great expectations. Who was it said I am a walrus? Let’s say (just this once mind you :)), I am a cuttle-fish…
Talking of great expectations, I don’t mind admitting to reading Dickens’ classic only now, at this moment when it is of some relevance. It is the story of a cuttle-fish that does break his teeth on the big city life, and comes home to his village with his tail between his legs (mixed metaphor?) to be greeted with open arms by the wise ones who never bought into the scam in the first place and who baled him out. They stay in the village and leave the door open. Of course none of us have such built-in wisdom; we learn the hard way. And some of the lessons come to us through that open door.

The cuttlefish is a bottom-dweller which often lies in ambush for smaller animals. For this way of life, it needs to keep itself at neutral buoyancy, so that it neither sinks nor rises. At first glance, it would seem sufficient for the Creator to have endowed it with a fixed overall density, so that its own weight was exactly balanced by the upthrust of the surrounding water. http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/cm/v19/n2/fascinating-cuttlefish
...sounds like a very positive energy to have and share...
Common cuttlefishes, Sepia officinalis, are masters of disguise. Their highly specialized array of color-changing structures allow them to blend themselves perfectly into their backgrounds. This also lets them often sneak up on prey and then shoot out their tentacles (which have suckers on the widened pads at their tips) at lightning speed to capture them. http://marinebio.org/species.asp?id=540
...sounds lovely...
The mature individuals (maturity stages III and IV) showed a clear preference for larger crabs and fishes http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs10750-009-9976-5
Is that supposed to b a warning...?

And yes, I had about 10 phone calls from him because he is like Professor Tournesol in Tintin, he can't ever get organised and always bitches all along. Did I do well to divorce, oh yeah!!! Once again confirmed.
Came back home, the gaz company is digging holes everywhere for repairs, my street is blocked but we now have access to our houses and there is no heating (i heat my house with natural gaz). My Here and Now...
We had to take yet another document to the local municipality, of the town of Paraiso, (which means Paradise.)
I decided to stay in the car with my iPad, tethered to the phone, so I could check on Avalon.
Parked in a small street between the church and the local park.
When suddenly there was this commotion, and what looked like a funeral procession came towards me, and gathered right there next to me in the park.
There was a van, with a loudspeaker on top, and a speech coming out, pleading with the people to go to the authorities, and demand more security.
Then I realized what this was about. Several days ago a young couple had disappeared, and were found in some woods yesterday, tortured and murdered. A 15 year old girl and her 16 year old boyfriend...really beautiful kids.
And here were their friends, family, and school mates, doing this demonstration, right in front of where I am sitting.
Since I'm still coming to terms daily with the loss of my husband's dad, this added dose of collective sadness had me cry some more.
Then there is the question, who killed these kids? Why and how were they murdered? The news on TV last night gave no further details.
Here is the picture I took just now:

In the humanities and social sciences, the word is often used in a metaphorical fashion to refer to a primitive, seminal, or prototypical example of an artistic genre or the basis of an ideological movement.

Part of a reply I made today, in another thread, another subject, and part of the topic was about sharing, giving, informing, and so on. Which helps in explaining or in cognition of this issue, the subtleties of sharing, or the mindedness of imposition.
Impresions and how this can form thought and thus be direction(s) in self, and the recognition of this sort of aspect:
I've said all of this stuff before, but this is not about waving flags, people have to explore and be directed to this stuff on their own, to at least some degree. If they want it, they have to dig for it. To become aware, and then explore on their own.
Me putting it in front of another's face, is akin to accumulation of karma. Me putting it out there and people finding it on their own, is not. Life is energy that holds itself together via it's own self excitation in (hopefully) a state of self awareness... and growth is that self excitation and point of growing awareness creating it's own breadth and depth.
If it comes externally, that is just a case of nothing changing, in some important ways. (just another piece of flotsam on a wave) External imposition is potentially karmic imposition (for those who thrust it on others), and can be a detriment for those imposed upon, not an increase. The problem for humanity... is the current flow or blend of these sort of aspects, one might say.
One way of seeing it is...If we look at the whole reptilian idea and set of considerations, we see the hard imposition of no-mindedness. If we believe in the considerations of karma, or similar, we may think that this will backfire on them, at the same time they are doing us a service, of helping us grow, by being an aspect of universal sufferance for humanity, in the view of these mildly more aware alternative circles. Just another angle to look at it from. Not necessarily the one to take on, no, but a possible view to add to the data package.
If we think of this as a vibrational issue, there is the idea that..the nastiest thing that one can do to self, is to know what 'is' and to still continue in the negative.

Another take on reptilian and secret societies, and whatnot:
Dennis the Peasant: Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
Arthur: Be quiet!
Dennis the Peasant: You can't expect to wield supreme power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!

Unrelated to anything...I was thinking this morning. It took me about four years to get my Associate's degree, usually a degree completed in two years. So when it came time to get my Bachelor's, I chose a "new" type of program in which one group of people moved through specific classes at specific times, together. No variation allowed, and the two years would be done in exactly two years. I chose this because it kept me to a timeline.
Needless to say, all the individuals in this group wore on each other. There was much internal conflict, both inside the group and inside each of us individually. We spent weekends together for two years. Friday 5:30pm-Sunday 5:30 pm. Wide range of people.
And at first, every one of us was triggered. We reacted to triggers in predictable ways, mostly verbally explaining ourselves, our opinions, the reason why we were, each one, "right"...which led to some very heated confrontations at times.
And I learned one of the most important lessons of my life in that cohort group, past the subject matter which is part of who I am. I figured out that I didn't need to state my viewpoints verbally.
And that was that.
I think that is why I keep most things to myself. I do share quite a bit of my here and now, yes. At first I shared much of myself because I didn't understand the changes and transformation I was/am experiencing. Then, as I began to understand what was happening (much I will attribute to learning on this forum, but not all), I still shared. Not because I didn't understand, but in hopes that one person will find solace that they are not alone. Past that, I kept sharing, because I started to realize that the energy I place here is helpful to someone, maybe to the group, but at least to someone. And then I learned how to directly send. And the dynamics go both ways.
So, here and now, reflection. (Might have something to do with M's 18th birthday yesterday.) And of course gratitude for those I have met here, who have become very much a part of my life...and for the lessons learned here, for the guidance and for the understanding, for the ability to give and to take. And the ability to *be* here, without even needing to say much.
Much Love,
Carmody

An interesting side bit, about this particularly nasty set of ley lines, is that two nexus points where they meet and have bi-directional influence as potent 'holes' or gates, if you will, are on either side of Costa Rica, a country with a notably more democratic reality in flow and life, at least on paper.
This ley line runs along the eastern coastline of Costa Rica, barely grazing it, for much of that coastline, and penetrating it's surface area only in the south.
The problem nexus points are in Nicaragua, and Panama. Both are places that were heavily infiltrated by what one might call the nasty parts of this global machine.
It keeps coming up, with near perfection and regularity.
Interestingly, a large number of my file images that are on the forum server...have become inaccessible and I will probably have to go and look in the given threads to see if they are still visible.
Oh yes. demanding security from the police. not the way to go. We all know where that leads.
That '10,000 people/population level' makes for the capacity of lies and pathology to begin in earnest. That they finally have the necessary size of population (and said population's integration with self) for the evolution of controlling schemes to really take off in scope.
Personal commitment and involvement is the way to go. Externalization- we all know where and how that goes.

Catch my soul, catch the very light
Hide the moment from my eager eye
Though you've seen them, please don't tell a soul
What you can't see, can't be very whole
Speak to me of summer
Long winters longer than time can remember
The setting up of other roads
To travel on in old accustomed ways
I still remember the talks by the water
The proud sons and daughter
That knew the knowledge of the land
Spoke to me in sweet accustomed ways
Mother life, hold firmly on to me
Catch my knowledge higher than the day
Lose as much as only you can show
Though you've seen me, please don't say a word
What I don't know, I have never shared
Loneliness is a power that we possess to give or take away forever
All I know can be shown by your acceptance of the facts there shown before you
Take what I say in a different way and it's easy to say that this is all confusion
As I see a new day in me, I can also show it you and you may follow
Speak to me of summer

Nice gesture, PL.
Jeia Ra Manuk, you are welcome here.
Sometimes it takes a little bit to find your footing here in the village.
I recall sitting in a dining-hall kitchen in Vermont, at a Christian Science summer camp, and learning to braid garden-grown onions from the silver-haired owner. This woman was a wise-woman before we'd heard about crones and triple goddesses. Anyway, she told me about some dynamics at camp, stuff she did to help the girls develop socially and learn to not only get along, but to grow spiritually.
She said some of the girls didn't stay the whole summer but left after 4 weeks. A pity it was, she said, because that was about the time when the difficulties peaked between bunk mates. About that time, they began to sort things out and by the end of August, they were bonded and often friends for years afterward.
The ones who left early never got the satisfying conclusion, of finding goodwill.
Pardon my rambling ... that memory just popped through these typing fingers.

I just came from the dairy farm. First trip there. See, Em and I got hooked on fresh yogurt because one day we were in the herb store and needed a snack. Just so happens, Susan had this yogurt so we tried it. Now, being used to store bought yogurt and all, I wasn't too sure about this funny looking stuff. But oh Lordy, when I tasted it I thought of cheesecake. Yummmm.
So, I started keeping it in the house. I limit us each to one per day. I figure I don't want to know how full of fat and calories it is, us girls watching our figures and all. (That is really funny.) But we were out, and Susan only had coconut flavor in her store. Not too sure I'm ready for that. So I headed out to find the dairy farm.
When I drove up, there was an elderly gentleman doing chores, I was uncertain if I was in the right place. He had me follow him back to the barn, where he then promptly showed me their office hours: Monday-Thursday 8-noon. All other times: self service. So I asked, "what does that mean, self service?"
He chuckled. He opened the door to the office, and there stood two refrigerators, like in my kitchen. And he pointed to a desk, an old school teacher looking desk with a cup of pencils on it. He said, "Well...over there's the key, and you help yourself. We take cash, checks, IOU's, and all other manner of payment." And I looked where he pointed to the "key" and it was a plastic pencil box. Written on the top were the words "Milk Money."
And sure enough, he had to go, so he left me standing in this room with two refrigerators and the key. And he said to help myself. So I did, and counted out what I owed. Just to be sure, I added a dollar or two. Put it right there in the milk money box.
I love living in the country.

Here is a little poem I wrote. I thought it would be interesting to put on Avalon. Here it is:
Pyramid
The world is dark
The hate is present
Evil left his mark
They tell you what is ''pleasent''
Evil control people like you and me
Behind a pyramid and a seeing eye
As soon as you break free
They send so many little spies
What is the reason of living?
When all we do is dying
The only reason left for me
Is to break it all and be truly free
Hit the pyramid again and again
Don't you ever spit on my face again
With my army of light, I awaken now
Come back from where you came from now
Sorry if I misbehave
But I am no longer your slave
A beautiful world is my reason for living
So don't think I will stop fighting
Evil only wants war! war! war!
I don't mind going too far
To break the pyramid! Break the pyramid!
I am no longer under your comand
I'll make sure the world isn't in Evil's hand
Damm pyramid,
Watch me grwo stronger and stronger
Watch blow away all the secrets you hid
Watch us get better and better
Sit back and watch the show
At the end, everything will glow

Most definitely. Grass fed cows, the milk, the cheese, the yogurt..mmmmmmm. The best. Fresh raw milk may be an acquired taste for some, but..wow.. Here in Normandy we have the richest French cheeses, Camembert, Pont-L'évêque and Livarot, which many people find best in a semi-liquid state. I find it hard to follow posters on Avalon who say cheese is so bad for you but apples so good. Normandy is also famous for its apples, cider, and cider-based spirits, notably Calvados (brandy). The cows graze in the apple orchards, so basically the same nutrients are going into the dairy produce through the cows and into the apple produce through the trees.

We are trying to strike a balance here between data dumping on the one hand, and letting it all out on the other, as expressed for example in Carmody’s desire for anonymity. I deliberately restricted my reference to the cuttle-fish to a laboratory experiment, where only the subject at hand is relevant, namely memory related to feeding. Laboratory conditions are only obtained when all extraneous considerations are removed. We are operating all the time in something approaching laboratory conditions, but in a manner that always takes the experimenter into account as well as the experiment. My mention of the cuttle-fish was intended to relate that animal to my own personal experience, no more no less, and certainly not as an exhaustive biological treatise on the subject.
According to thunder24, we also need to know a myriad other things about the animal, probably including its sex life. This is like saying that someone visiting the Elysée Palace on business needs to know who the president has been sleeping with – or for that matter that someone reading thunder’s posts needs to know about his love life. Simply not true: there are a million things posters here don’t know about each other, and that is how it should be. But we do know a little: every additional post adds to our knowledge and understanding of the poster, and we use that knowledge to gain a better insight into what they are saying.
Notions of oneness and interconnectedness mean that whatever we choose to focus on momentarily, the entire rest of the universe is attached to it. This is what François Hollande is discovering with a vengeance, because the issue has not been dealt with in the appropriate manner. If this malfunction is what comes with being a ‘normal president’, then this means at least one of two not incompatible things: a) being a career politician is not a state for a normal person to be in, and we perhaps need a major revolution; or b) there may (or may not) be something wrong with the idea that normalcy means the freedom to sleep around when in a stable relationship. On the other hand, in logical terms, both suggest an inability to choose between stability and instability, which is probably the most normal fact of human life on this planet. As such, Hollande’s escapades are merely the public, tabloid expression of something we are all grappling with all the time.
So I guess what all these recent topics are pointing to is the combined need for sharing and for privacy. If you are not sharing anything, then what are you doing here? And if you are demanding more personal disclosure than a person is reasonably willing to give, then again, what are you playing at? Whenever we hear about telepaths, they always emphasize the need for privacy and the need to respect that privacy in others. In other words, to share some, and to withhold some; to partake and not to pry. This is what we are here to practice. Until we learn to make this discipline second nature, we are not ready for such gifts as telepathy, as they are bound to be weaponized.

I wrote a brief post while in the car yesterday, addressing these points.
Clicked the 'send' button, got out of the car to do an errand,
and when I returned the post was not where it should have been.
Perhaps it vanished into another dimension
so that Thunder could have another chance to reflect why he felt the need to
shoot those snide remarks at you, araucaria.
Because that's what they were,
and he didn't even elaborate nor explain what all that was about.
I really wish he would, though.
Are you reading these words, Thunder?
Back to you, araucaria:
Hundreds of posts of carefully chosen words and astute insights
have proven to me that there is no malicious intent in your
participation here...to me, at least. You are always welcome.
If anyone feels otherwise, at least question before judging him or attributing darkness.
If araucaria's posts seem to be obscure, or full of riddles, ask him what he meant...
I am certain that he will find other words, clearer language, to make his point in new ways,
And he will continue to do so until everyone understands.
Meanwhile Thunder, you need to return and say what you meant,
and why you had that issue with araucaria,
or I will accuse you of a hit and run job.

Now Calamus too is gone.
Calamus has left and returned many times.
When Avalon becomes annoying, or irritating, many people feel the need to take action,
as in fight or flight syndrome.
The third option, to just live and let live, without drastic intervention via either the complaint post or thread, or,
unsubscribing...is something unthinkable to them.
This shows that 'stillness' still needs to be explored.
_Stillness_ is the third option.
The zero point option, that gets one out of the duality paradigm
we all have been brainwashed with.
To understand the dynamics necessary to move beyond those two end points of black and white,
and settle for a short while in the grey area at the center.
While maintaining no other stance than pure awareness.
To me Avalon does not represent the 'alternative' community,
but simply "community".
It is a forum, and as far as forums go, it is fairly general,
with a few threads which are specialized and specific.
Everywhere I have been in my life, where people have gathered around a dinner table,
they have sooner of later started talking about all the subjects which are being discussed here at Avalon.
After they are done talking about food, sports, cars, sex, and fashions,
they get to politics (check), then religion (check), then inventions (check),
then ETs (check), then ghosts (check), then dreams (check) ....and sometimes, but less often, even death (check).

That's because you live in the US. Maybe also because times have changed.
I lived in Britain in the seventies and eighties, and if one only commented on the basics,
one would have been considered as boring, and not been invited back.
Here is Costa Rica everyone only talks about the basics, but if someone comes along,
and changes the subject, the others become really animated,
and eager to contribute some stories of where they had their first encounter with the metaphysical world.
But it takes a foreigner like me to get that ball rolling....the Ticos (short for Costa Ricans)
are still a bit formal, and prefer to stick to the weather, lottery, soccer and politics in their everyday conversations.
But, boy, do they pick up extra info via reading of body language!

Does it take a "whole village" to tell someone their post is better in another place. No, it only took one and then it was over. But 4 or 5 had "2 cents" to share... so I added mine, once a label was placed. Label being hermit crab....
I say im surprised at the pincers on the hermit crabs... didn't think that was a far leap to see what I meant... but realizeing HERE AND NOW it was a bit indirect for some to understand. Thats my fault, I won't externalize that, (just this once).
Hermit crabs and open doors ....... Let’s say (just this once mind you :)), I am a cuttle-fish…
I said Im a crab, "aura carrier" says they are a cuttle-fish. Its not hard to see the underlying message hidden within those words.... so my subsequent posts to "aura-carrier" were very relevant to the initial post on cuttle-fish.
I was asked/told to desist so i did, and then more had to address someone's posts that were only brought on by others instead of letting it go after the initial comments.
...and now today, my sex life is being brought up in the same post as The French president, and telepathy as a weapon.... which brings me back to my initial post on cuttlefish and the bolded words in said post....

Thunder, you still don't seem to be getting the point that's being made here. What you ARE getting is what your assumptions are leading you to.
These assumptions really are your own, no one else's.
I never thought for one moment that araucaria's point could be interpreted the way you just did,
but there you go!
He brought up the sex life example only to emphasize the PRIVACY that people are entitled to,
And that would include you as well....
plus because it happened to be a handy example,
as the French president had just been mentioned in a video.
I saw no offensive dig at you there at all...
yet you did, and I am surprised.
I do believe you got this one twisted beyond repair now.
Try to read messages with an impartial mind, without taking everything personal.
Moving away from the personals here everything becomes an offense is the standard Cancerian life lesson...just as letting go of materialism is the standard Capricorn life lesson, and the fear of injustice and imbalance is the Libran one.

To let go of their cleverness and find their hearts, basically uniting their inner 'twins".
