Hey I love grey hair!
Wife (at least for now) has always wanted me to dye my hair.
Uh ... sorry.
She really missed the boat regarding the physical body being our current suit of clothes ... but that is her lesson and not mine.
My lesson you ask???
Having a wife 16 years younger than me (who actually looks more like 21 than 41).
Careful what you wish for out there ...
I will be more careful about what I might trigger.....
My husband is nearly 9 years younger than I but looks 10 years younger than he is.
Meanwhile I look 10 years younger than the average senior citizen.
So we still always end up looking like the diva and her security guard/chauffeur.

They say the eyes never change ...and that is true.
It's always fascinating to see snapshots of people's lives. People with beautiful hearts always age beautifully.

@calz - fun fact: my buddy is dating a gal your wife's age and he's 1 year younger than me. Not something I'm gonna get into but lets just say I like a gal a little older because the ones my age are often really really ditsy.
And here's my random zep post (one of my favs):

Second day in a row I wake up and there's a thread explaining what's wrong with Americans. I really really really really wish you guys could just live with me for a week. Might just change that negative tone. It's interesting to me that so many other people are okay with this. Maybe I have issues with disrespect? Doesn't matter, if these things bother me then it's a sign that I need to meditate more consistently. At least headaches haven't been bothering me *knock on wood*.
That being said I wont hold anything against anyone that posted anything derogatory because you're all humans (I think) and humans usually end up making me smile.
That being said wish me luck for today; in the fight to cripple the oil industry I gotta look up a bunch of boring numbers for several hours and then write for several more. Am I taking down the giants? Hell no, just trying to go the distance (like Rocky).

There was a point in my studies/journey where I felt shame for “being an American”.
Thought I was clever, having a pat answer when “patriots” would say things like “well if you got such a problem with it, why don’t you leave?” Retort: Because then I’d be a victim of US foreign policy.
I used to get upset, used to think it was important to be right, intensely needing for others to understand.
Now I realize: I don’t even really respect the ideas of ANYONE, on ANY side, that gives power to labels, coming from a place of generalization. I recognize arguing (or agreeing) with someone who has emotional attachments to the idea of “America(n)” is a waste of energy, getting upset (or psyched up by) anyone else’s attachments to it is even more of a waste.
I am a human, that happens to live in a place, here & now. Each other human I encounter has their own ideas, their own problems….I don’t judge them on the opinions programmed into them by the media, designed to create division….I am intrigued about it though, I do find it interesting and important to analyze the triggers/reactions/etc.

Recently, while my family visited at a local Irish pub, a woman went on and on about her/our Irish heritage with me. I can’t remember the exact question something about being proud to be one.
I really, rea…lly tried to come up with, “Yeah, yeah, rah, rah,” but what came out was, “Not really. I just am.” It’s what rolled off my tongue, and I meant it in the sincerest sense.
Her reaction was a blank, godsmacked stare. I saw she needed something more. So I added that I wished she could have known my sister. She was so Irish that I’d swear she was part leprechaun. With that, she seemed to have found her center once again.

Well I stayed single until age 40 ... dated all types, sizes, shapes, ages and races during that time.
Got crazy at 40 ... lets call it a mid-life crisis to keep the shrinks in business shall we?
Dated lotso gals with kids ... didn't want to marry into that (not that there is anything wrong there ... simply my choice at that time).
So ... I looked for someone younger.
... and as the worm turns ... now *she* is having a "mid life crisis" in that she missed her freedom when she was young ... and so on.
Yeah I know ... what goes around comes around.
Ask ulli about a woman with both Venus and Mars in Scorpio going through her mid 30s (and beyond apparently) when women typically are at their hormonal height (as opposed to men who peak in their teens).
Again ... lesson learned ... careful what you wish for (and I did the astro prior)
Anyway .... shifting gears ... I think many of the posts in the two threads you refer to (particularly Gio's) has more to do with motivating us yanks to go beyond apathy and passive acceptance of what is clearly happening right now.
I mean ... seriously ... post office and fda (I think it was) is now also getting weapons and ammo???
Huh???
Easy path is suggesting we don't have any control over a bought and paid for set of governmental puppets gone rougue ...
Tougher path is accepting some responsibility for what we perhaps helped in co-creating (and I am *not* talking about the sham of elections where we have "puppet a" vs "puppet b" who both come from the same bloodline and dance to the same masters).
... and ... good luck :)

Mid-life crisis popped into my head, too. I almost ask if she wanted a red car? Back when you posted that she wanted to try for a little girl and 'how about a bigger home?', my wheels got a’turning.
No blame here. I get it. Life happens. It’s unfortunate when people get caught off guard with milestones along the way. When partners understand this, then the ones with ‘big love’ can weather it together or for one another.
It’s my hope that sooner than later, there’ll be more with the ‘big love’ where forgiveness, understanding, and compromise are not even thought about because it’s as natural as the next breath.

Anyway .... shifting gears ...
I was at the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) yesterday, where only 25 people were allowed inside which included workers. In that space were three notices of “no guns or ammunition allowed”.
It sparked quiet (very quiet) conversations, and unfinished sentences and head nods.

UPDATE: added 'compromise'. Limited it to only three.

We can probably agree on gals and Zeppelin but on this matter I will have to disagree with you. I'm thinking about making an audio rant on this matter. If I posted how I feel in text form it would seem offensive but if one can hear the tone of my voice then you can see I'm serious about what I'm saying, but I'm not overly angry, I'm just using my sense of humor to vent. In that process it can get vulgar. I think this leads to misunderstandings quite a bit online so I'd love to speak my mind but on this forum I watch my p's and q's while attempting to keep my 'jokes' at bay.

...You're kinda proving my point here. The global problem is ****ing GLOBAL. People are just so damn delusional about how I, me, my friends and family - everyone I see everyday - is the cause of the worlds problems. Seriously, don't back out and say this doesn't apply to me, I'm a god damn American and I'm a fighter. My bloodline is half Italian and half German but I am an American. I'm not lazy. **** anybody who judges anybody. Nobody except God sees what I go through and to call me lazy is a rude thing to do.
You guys don't know me or anyone I know. If anyone ever insulted my parents or called them lazy/apathetic to my face then I'm flipping my Tyler Durden switch immediately. Why would you call me lazy/apathetic/whatever? My assumption would be because there's nothing going on at the time of the post and it's emotionally satisfying to post something like that. Kinda like a nice time kill.
I truly believe this because this is how humans work - it's in our minds - it's one of those patterns through time that repeats forever. Humans just do **** like this; piss away whatever thought is floating around. That's why I said earlier I wont hold it against anyone (although you can tell by now it drives me up the wall).
I wonder how many non-Americans talk bad about America as they sit behind their Dell laptop? Ya know, right before they strap up the New Balance's for a run around the park.

Yeah, I've been noticing that "mood", clashes imminent. One should remember to remain calm in times like this, but it's not always that easy, unless you're a Buddha. Thankfully I know the art of conscious breathing (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TubJqdN_USg)...

This is getting fun ... so many ways to consider this.
Let's try the ol' astro for sh!ts n giggles ...
I have 5 birth planets in Libra (peace) ... no earth (not grounded) ... no mutable (not very flexible).
I go to great lengths to see both sides of any issue (could carry on a debate with myself).
I avoid anger issues (and threads) at all costs ...
Venting brings great pain to my heart ... not relief.
Anyway ... I understand where you are coming from more than you might expect. I always try to put myself in someone else's shoe so that happens a lot.
Nation states are really an illusion ... one which very few worldwide understand.
I can sympathize with those around the world angry at what the military of this country has done (in truth borderless support of the bankster corporate feeding of the elite). To what degree we civilians bear responsibility is debatable ... yes? ... and that is why I appreciate Gio's "and what can we do about it" approach.
Make sense?
Zep is covered ... I'll go out on a limb and guess you might like this one

Hi folks
This time last year I was unwell. But that was last year. Last week I had an overdue break giving my other half my undivided attention, which usually involves going offline, emptying my head, soaking in the sun, enjoying blue seas and mountains, and more legwork than I am configured for. It takes a few days to recover from all of that, because it is no illness :)
As a staunch Avalonian I recommend Ryanair for travelling light – and light travel if not faster is what we are talking about. Rianayr will bring you home safely for a few extra euros if you need to print your ticket before you leave. Even at these tiny airports, there is always a nice lady to relieve you of that explosive face cream or shampoo you forgot to leave at home.
So – mission accomplished – I have nothing at all to report. Except that while we were gone, there was an invasion of 20 heads of state to our part of the world, which we did well to miss – the Longest Week commemorating the Longest Day. Politicians and royalty “overpaid, oversexed and over here”, as they said about the GIs in the UK in 1944. These guys were all bringing traffic to a standstill waking up our sleepy towns in different random orders, places you read about in history books, like Ouistreham, Bénouville, Bernières, Bayeux and Sainte-Mère-Eglise. The idea of promoting peace by remembering the strategic qualities of a battlefield and all the homes that were smashed (over 20,000 civilian casualties) is all wrong. They want people awake and aware of all the horrors that have been going on. People like the awful Sarkozy saying that his sons are older than the cannon fodder buried here, and that he hopes they could make the same sacrifice if necessary. War is peace etc.
The excuse for all these commemorations is of course the 70th anniversary, the last round number before the last of the vets die off. But we are already into the centenary of World War I, which will drag on for four more years. What we really need is a little forgetfulness. Peace and quiet in the here and now as a practice ground for peace in the future here and now with nothing untoward to remember. In Sicily, we saw another example of the difficulty we have in dealing with this issue. This blip on Google Earth is the old town of Gibellina wiped out in an earthquake in 1968.
26066
Why is it white? In 1988, the 541 victims were memorialized by a piece of ‘minimalist’ Land Art, with the whole place buried in concrete, and the street plan left visible. This is not a good way to deal with collective trauma. We are now stuck with this eyesore for hundreds of years, and it will probably even survive another earthquake. It would have made more sense to remove the rubble and plant olive and fig trees and maybe put commemorative labels on the oil and jam. And incidentally, Italy being a Catholic country, it would have been a more Christian solution. Didn’t Jesus say ‘Put me on the dinner table, not in a mausoleum’? Or deeds to that effect.
Thinking of Dennis, Nora, Marianne and others here, but with no words carved in stone.

Thank you, Ulli. I'm still thinking about that "flickering lights" phenomenon... I'm wondering if my aura is affecting those electronics or if it's my celestial guardians which seem to visit me every now and then, but I have read that many people seem to break lamps when their emotions are "high" like when they are feeling angry? I don't often feel angry, but I do have a fiery temper which seems to surface every now and then.
I used to have a problem with supressed emotions and to a certain point I still do. I have learned to let go and release negative emotions like anxiety and fear, but it seems that still I need to find a better way to channel those emotions. I wonder if that is related to the phenomenon which seems to occur around me, I don't want to destroy things with my energy, I want to create and heal!

Unwanted psychic powers often manifest when people are repressed. Astrology helped me to understand this.
Pluto is the ultimate repression planet. Instinctive energies are bottled up, deep in the subconscious.
Anger outbursts are nothing other than energy in need of direction.
To find and integrate our shadow self means looking down inside the dungeon...
not a pleasant task, but when self knowledge is attained then it was all worthwhile.
So when I deliberately and carefully destroy my creations which no longer have that special spark
I actually clean out my inner subterranean cesspit as well.
Maybe thats why I hardly ever become angry any more.

Shadow work is very familiar to me, I've been doing it for a long time, I reckon it has a lot of to do with past lives. I think I still have many lessons unfinished... Not exactly sure relating to what. I should learn to trust life and myself more, I guess. Pluto is exalted in Leo/Virgo (my signs), what does that exactly mean? Also Pluto is in 15 Degrees Scorpio in my sign.
Ulli, could you advice me a little with my transits? I just noticed that tomorrow begins this transit and it ends exactly when my birthday is, three months later. 69 Square Neptune - Mars. Other interesting transits are -66 Square Mars - Neptune, -130 Opposition Neptune - Venus, -149 Opposition Neptune - Mercury, 52 Trine Pluto - Venus.

I can't do it unless I have your birthday, month and year, and possibly even the hour, down to the minute. Plus, the place of birth.
Pluto in Scorpio...hey, you are younger than I thought.
Born in the eighties.
If you have Neptune opposition to your Mercury, and square your Mars -this means that your normally super-sharp mind is being challenged now. You are not quite as sure about your beliefs as you were in the past.
This transit can bring confusion, and perhaps sometimes even infections.
Also, the journey of clearing past lives...would there ever be an end to that?
Im sure one can get lost when looking at it that way. There are always more trouble spots to unearth.
Focus on being healthy, on who you want to be, watch what you feel passionate about...
If plants didn't strive for the light, but instead only dug around in their root system to see where they once were, then there would be no growth, no flowers, no fruits.

And I love that Calz is still exploring astrology.
(Although he needs to see the effect of his planets' house positions as well. Always worth studying.
And the interactions between his planet clusters, according to their individual energies.
Maybe he can then forget momentarily what his Libra self thinks is going on, and shift his vision to what is eternal,

Stopped exploring astro about 20 years ago but retain the basics.
I understand the house system(s) but that wasn't the point of the post (I came very close to having *all* planets in the first quandrant which is another unusual pattern).
That post was simply my way of giving another filter for seeing that there are always two sides to every story.
That isn't to suggest one side is "right" and the other "wrong" ... quite the opposite.
At the end of the day ... when all is said and done ... who benefits from negative emotion on this planet???
Loosh anyone???
Anyway ... I still appreciate what you and Carmody offer.

Talking of outer planets, I’m just taking another look at Sitchin after taking another look at Michael Tellinger, who makes great sense to me in that 2-hour video of his – providing hard evidence literally everywhere in S. Africa for the ancient gold-mining scenario. Sitchin has supposedly been debunked, but of course the debunking might well be just playing down the fact that he is basically correct. The Nibiru collision happened long before the Annunaki, shortly after the birth of the solar system apparently – like a cue ball smashing the harmony of a snooker table and getting the game started. The Annunaki are merely people who see the situation from the opposite angle – our outer planets being the first they come to on the way in.
What I would like to see is a factoring in of Nibiru into the astrological equation. To do this we would need to know where it is at any given time, and work out its transits and its basic characteristics. By the way, I wonder which modern astrologers characterized Pluto and Neptune, or would this be based on Annunaki astrology? The trouble with Nibiru is we don’t have or are not being given its position and orbit. Bob Dean, who was a great friend of Sitchin’s, says it is due any time now, but Sitchin himself says not for a couple hundred years. Either way, it is getting close. This means that after about 1500 years in almost the same position viewed from here it has started coming round the bend so to speak, and having more and more variable influence in terms of changing astrological angles. In other words, what were extremely long cycles, much longer than Pluto’s, have been speeding up tremendously, and may have something to do with our impression of accelerating time.

Game changer to the nth degree no doubt.
Well ... starting from scratch with what we *really* know ... most star systems locally are binary.
Unless we turn our backs on a great deal of alleged history ... why is it we assume ours is no different?
I am not an astronomer and thus I have no access or understanding of what sort of gravitational effects there are that would suggest such a thing.
Ah ... gravity vs magnetics ...
That is something ...
Electronic Universe ...
Yep ...
Still catching up there but on board.
What Carmody suggested in his "astro owns your ass" post regarding quantum ... stuff ... is beyond my realm (which is sadly the case when Carmody gets on a roll).
Lovable Dean aside for a moment ... perhaps Carmody could add his take on our alleged sister sun ... don't remember hearing that but likely I have missed it or forgotten ...
araucaria
14th June 2014, 11:18
The sister sun thing is interesting but I reckon it has to be something different altogether. As far as I can see, to come in this close on such a regular basis, Nibiru can only be a planet of our sun – and Sitchin does say it was captured by the Sun. If it was orbiting a secondary star, then the combined orbits around its star and around ours, unless totally synchronized would presumably lead to a more irregular pattern.

Insiders, outsiders, inside-outers. But on the Nibiru thing, Bob Dean says Santorini (1600 BC) plus 3600 years = now. It strikes me this is either spin he’s taking from someone, or maybe the people in the know don’t know it all either. As a general rule, we are being rushed, as if we had no time to read the fine print. To echo Ulli, if the end of the world was tomorrow, I would still be reading the fine print today.

Maybe it would help to go and stand in the garden then. Barefoot in the grass, to ground energy. It works for me.
Negative thoughts often arise when Im feeling bad, or conflicted. And that is remedied by grounding.
If you don't have a garden fill a cat litter box with soil, and plant some wheatgrass seeds... Then stand in that.

What is this ball thing that people seem to be speaking of? Is it of any importance? Or is it just another tool in the toolbox of a given control matrix? One of those things I stay completely away from, and do not give energies to, as..in it's commercialized form...it's corruption is complete?
Some of you know my opinion of 'professional' sport. That I would not spend even one second on any of it, that I give it nothing. IMO, for all the right reasons.
That it is a giant divisional, distracting, 'make permanent war-mindedness in and of people' maintenance project, to make sure that this aspect of the animal in humanity does not dissipate. To keep the minds away from seeking or knowing how to understand peace and co-operation. That they know co-operation, but only in the form of banding together for war and division, separateness from 'other', in the area of organized confrontational violence. That the imprint of being in a state of war and stressing of that nature, remains in the DNA of humans. That the downturn of a held state of lower mindedness - remains.
It may have even begun as a method of preventing war. But over time, it would have developed as a tool. A useful lever. A useful control mechanism, one that now, IMO - has to go.
IMO: See it for what it is.
Pardon me, I'm being a bit direct today. :)

There was a movie called Rollerball, which described exactly what it all has become...
And when I was sitting in the cinema in London watching it I knew that it was prophetic.
Although at the time there was still uncertainty between world communism or a corporate superstate...
In any case, both ideologies would make use of team sports as their preferred method of distraction.
During our year of courtship my husband kept his soccer addiction hidden from me.

Rollerball is a sport run by the Energy Corporation, one of many such conglomerates running the planet in a time when countries and individual governments are obsolete. The corporations provide the population with everything that they need--food, a crime-free environment, mood-altering drugs--as long as they don't rock the boat and don't ask too many questions. When Jonathan, the world's greatest Rollerball player, becomes too popular with the fans, the Energy Corporation, led by the sinister Bartholemew, tries to convince Jonathan to retire. Failing that, the company raises the stakes, abolishing the rules of the already dangerous sport in an effort to destroy Jonathan and his immense fan base..."

Carmody, we’ve had this discussion before, about other matters. I have a different perspective on spending one’s energies on things contaminated by commercialization. There is very little if anything on this planet that is spared from the ravages of “commercialization”, used as a blanket term. The idea of a matrix is even more comprehensive than that. What we are bringing to this is the odd grain of sand in the machine (in English the tiny spanner in the works). If these grains of sand are going to do their job, they have to face the grinding gears until they grind no more rather than worry about their personal integrity. Just as there is no space that is spared, there should be no space that is abandoned. In the case at issue, if, for instance, commercialization means that Brazil have to win the World Cup regardless of their performance on the field, then the energy brought in by foreign bodies might contribute towards bringing the spotlight on Brazil off the pitch as the B of BRICS. An audience of several billion is a useful audience to have witness something good instead of something evil. And on the pitch is an ideal venue for crazy things to happen capable of overcoming blatant match-fixing. There was an example last night, when Spain, who went through the entire competition as the eventual winners last time around by conceding just two goals, let in five in just over forty-five minutes – totally unprecedented. No amount of corruption by officials can stop the impetus of a squad of well-trained players in the zone, when it is created by the population at large.
It could well be that the several billion have disconnected from the commercialization and are putting their energies, come what may, behind a different from the planned outcome. Soccer is a sport where things have gone so far too far that many have woken up to this aspect of the matrix and are beginning to cry out for something different. It would be funny, and in a way it makes sense, if this or something like it were where a breakthrough was made, after decades of effort by ufologists, free energy promoters and whoever, with their much smaller audiences. But we don’t need a breakthrough: just another step in the right direction.

Extending my previous post into another area – the media – the question becomes do I or do I not engage with the mainstream media? What has happened to topple or at least seriously threaten the MSM is the growth of reader/listener/watcher threads with the gradual increasing influence of dissenting voices. People have learnt to become themselves more critical and discerning, notably through the growth of alternative media, meaning not just conspiracy sites or blogs from people who have made a name for themselves. Every anonymous poster is contributing to this effort. While it is basically impossible to ignore the mainstream altogether, as being perhaps at one end of this media continuum at the other end of which one is operating, those who are actively engaging with it are contributing a great deal to changing it for the better. In other words, the media with the highest profile are tasting government by the grassroots. They will either adjust or die, we shall see.
The world of soccer is slightly different in that the personal practical experience at the grassroots level has always been present and feeding the system. It has always been the sport of the masses, because all you need is a battered football to kick around, sometimes even less (an old tennis ball or even a rag doll). It is a game heavily subsidized at the lowest level, attracting the underprivileged. Kids get kitted out for free, apart maybe from secondhand boots, and many will be at their smartest in their team’s colours. Their relationship to what they witness at the World Cup is not so much about hero worship but, more interestingly, one of discovering the connection between magic and empirical science. They see technical feats which they then try to replicate for themselves. When you have the proverbial hundred monkeys all willingly putting in the 10,000 hours into the one thing that they enjoy, above things like school, consumerism, and even petty crime, you find morphic resonance at work with a vengeance – gradually everyone is doing magical things with a football. The Brazilian team used to be revered for the skill they alone showed and which, as the poorest among the poor, they developed by playing barefoot in the street; not any more: all the others now have similar skills levels. This is the irrepressible side of sport that dismissive phrases like ‘bread and circuses’, an oligarch’s expression that only became widespread when taken over as the mantra of the alternative community. What is being reinjected into sport is the Fun. Similarly, a whole range of new funboarding sports has risen on water, land and snow in place of the conventional aristocratic disciplines like skiing, water-skiing and skating. These were not originally aristocratic sports, but are simply for most people too expensive, in terms of facilities and equipment.
I find the notion of the sheeple content with bread and circuses highly objectionable – to say so is to embrace the elitist rhetoric, but does not make it so. Why is there so much fuss over chasing after a ball? Because that ball is one of the few sources of enjoyment left to people. It symbolizes a degree of freedom, and control of one’s destiny. When played clumsily, it behaves capriciously, like the ancient gods. When skills are developed, it can be made to do things that produce many positive feelings of joy, pleasure, satisfaction, emulation, admiration etc. And in collective sports like soccer, it becomes the moving focal point of a kind of conscious astrological ballet played out together. The ball’s trajectory marks the energy flows between players who are themselves preferably moving into space at appropriate angles to each other. If you don’t like your Pluto’s position and slowness, you are stuck with it; but if your winger is slow and out of position, you can yell at him and hopefully next time he will do better. And if you don’t like your opponents’ transitions, you can always counter them. A successful move is one where a whole chart gradually clicks into place over the short time it takes to build up.
With the grassroots reaching new levels of skill, and knowing the difference between the creativity they enjoy and the destructive behaviour that commercialization inevitably brings, the top end of the game will not die, it will adjust. There will always be a top end of some kind, some being more gifted than others; but the tip is getting blunter. I think that is a positive direction to be encouraged and a worthy focus of our energy at a time when Brazil is in the limelight, Brazil with no bread and the circus on life support (a relatively ordinary team). As to the how this may unfold, I have no idea, but no matter.

When skills are developed, it can be made to do things that produce many positive feelings
This is just it, araucaria. The positive side of football, the fun, and the hope it gives to players as they develop their skills...this is not what is being objected to.
It is the hijacking of this fun, by the dark side. As they hijack talented musicians and other talented artists, and then turn them into freak shows.
And this is done so gradually, always appealing to people's lowest instincts, that no one notices when the line of decency has been crossed. Just as no one notices when an alcoholic becomes an alcoholic. There is a fine line here

Hi WIND, i have a problem similar to you. I have negative thoughts about 4 or 5 am. I am like a croquette frying on the bed.
Hugs, WIND.
Hola Dan and gracias, good to know that I'm not alone with my problem! I'm not even sure that those negative emotions are always mine, I'm like an antenna picking all the information around me, sometimes it tends to be highly annoying. I definitely should ground myself more often, but lately it has been almost impossible because it has been somewhat cold and rainy! Sunny days, I am waiting for you! Perhaps a grounding mattress or a carpet could also suffice. I sometimes feel similar to Tesla...

Thanks, Dianna, and I love you, too.
I had a bit of a tearful day. My husband lost his Dad recently and so he was really grieving today,
which led me to revive memories of my own Dad.
Thinking of all those who are grieving right now. So thank you for this hug...

Hi all, long time no post from me though I still lurk regularly as the energy signature of this thread is always nourishing and inspiring... so, many thanks to all participants herein.
I have been having dreams quite regularly that occur underwater in which I have no trouble breathing. In a recent one the water was somewhat murky and I detected a massive shape coming towards me out of the haze. I 'knew' there was some sort of safety zone just behind me so I took a step or 2 back towards it in awe of the size of what was approaching. As It emerged into sight I realised it was a humpback whale and it stopped and hovered directly in front of me. I placed my forehead in contact with the very tip of its 'chin' and stayed in communion for some time... that is all I remember.
I had started to make this animation a year or 2 ago and this dream inspired me to finish it.

Great to See You, Markoid : )
Awesome dream sharing and video of joy.......
I too had a wonderful close encounter with a 'humpback' of the mini-version that came up my arm and kissed me on the cheek as I awoke during dreams while I was vibrating rather high in January 2007. Great memory recall all because of You : )
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You : )

Araucaria, what an analysis!
My motivation not to watch or follow is this: because the poor people of Brasil with tears in their eyes asked us not to.
And that is why.
PS: you forgot equestrian sports in the list of rich people sports :p. And it is really really a pity because everyone should benefit from the great loving bond that can be built with a horse.
Thanks Violet. Yes, I could have mentioned the cost and benefits of horse-riding, from experience. Regarding Brazil, if you feel you have found a cut-and-dried issue calling for an unambiguous response, then by all means go for it. I personally am in a moral maze 24/7/365 and have no easy answers to anything. The following article more or less to the situation as I see it at this time.
http://www.ibtimes.com/brazilian-world-cup-protesters-decry-perceived-corruption-their-beloved-game-1586666
In particular the beginning:
On the surface, last week’s anti-World Cup protest in Brazil seemed antithetical: Soccer fans in a soccer-obsessed country protesting soccer, of all things.
In fact, protesters took to the streets on Thursday to express their displeasure over the perceived corruption of their national pastime by the World Cup.
The situation is somewhat similar to neutralizing someone with a hostage and a gun to their head. Do we sacrifice the hostage? In this particular case, that is certainly an option. But if things backfire, we will have contrived to rob the almost totally destitute of what little they had. FIFA is the sporting wing of the global mafia running this planet, and has to be dealt with along with the rest of them. It is the same old story of an international corporation interfering in a country’s affairs. Lobbying to have its laws changed for its own private purposes is a clear breach of existing laws when such is achieved through bribing public officials. As I have suggested elsewhere, the proper way to deal with these situations is due process through the courts, i.e. establishing guilt and punishing offenders - instead of taking the moral high ground, tracking down the devil in the details. Justice has to be done, no more no less. Punishment would mean returning the embezzled funds to the people of Brazil. A boycott is simply one way of expressing the will to achieve that end. It is not the only way. FIFA have set up this World Cup like a piece of rope to hang itself. They now need to step into the noose. A boycott might merely cause the trap to fail. They would lose money, but ultimately nothing antisystemic would be gained.
As I say, I have no real answers, only a few thoughts about the moral quandaries we lose sleep over time. First, addressing the issue of doing what the poor ask, specifically in the shape of the individuals one personally encounters. Do you ignore the beggar in the street, knowing for a fact that for some of them working office hours out of a decent home, begging is a nice little earner? If you ignore this fact, how much do you give them? Surely a few pennies is insulting, and even a banknote is barely a token gesture given the size of the problem. And then what about the person on the next street corner, and the next? You don’t need to be very well-off to seem scandalously wealthy in comparison. The answer to poverty is certainly not personal impoverishment.
Second, addressing the issue of tourism to certain countries. Take Greece: do you take a holiday there to boost their economy or do you keep away to avoid seeming to profit from its parlous state? Or take buying Chinese goods: what do the slaves in the sweatshops do for a living if we boycott their goods? What do they ask, and is it the right thing to ask anyway? In a general way, which is better: to turn Brazil into an economic North Korea, or foster exchanges with people from outside, who will hopefully learn a thing or two and also spend a few dollars that won’t fall into FIFA’s grubby hands?
Third, take a group of people who make a request that is fairly specific yet imprecise as to its application: NTBR (not to be resuscitated) patients. There is currently a court case in France trying a doctor who took things into his own hands rather more than is recommended. The outcome was more or less as planned except that the patient died too suddenly for her son, who would have liked to have been consulted. The incident was reported by an inexperienced auxiliary carer just out of college, who may possibly have been overreacting on that account. The judge has got to reach on verdict on this mess. The whole difficulty of legislating about euthanasia is that there are no simple hard-and-fast rules that can be applied indiscriminately without creating a system open to abuse.
The bottom line seems to be that we are using the justice system in areas where it is usually inappropriate, and not in others where it should be.
Back to the poor in Brazil. I suggest that the commonality between dying patients and the poor is that their one desire is quite simply to put an end to their ordeal, but that the details of achieving that involve a degree of (professional) skill that they personally do not possess or even understand. But, given that we want to restore them to life, they need educating. With regard to soccer, some things are already being done off the field to exploit their influence on it by intelligent and sensitive former top players. Socrates was a medical doctor who politicized football:
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2011/dec/04/socrates
'Winning is nothing' (Socrates*)
*not the philosopher: the former Brazilian soccer captain, who has just died
Now Socrates’ younger brother Rai is directly engaged in humanitarian work. This is from back in 2008. This is the sort of thing we need to hear more of and see more of:
What are these two foundations you're involved in?
The first, Gol de Letra, is something Leonardo [former AC Milan midfielder and occasional BBC pundit] and I put together. We work in the suburbs of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to give underprivileged children access to education and culture. It's a question of ideology. Education can lead to change and social inclusion. We have 1,000 children who we saved from lives of violence. Now they play sport, go to the theatre and belong somewhere other than the streets. Our idea is that these kids become agents of change in their homes and villages. In Brazil we have democracy now and the economy is strong, but public services are not and health and education are in a mess. We can make a difference.
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2008/jun/22/brazil
Indeed we are seeing more of this kind of thing. Foundations like these are working together.
http://www.noodls.com/view/D3AB82AB75A02EE6DB46D0BCEB9068527376AFC6?4641xxx1399375432
The fact that they have found a corporate sponsor in the shape of ‘gas giant’ GDF Suez will raise a few eyebrows. This is where Ulli’s fine line will be drawn. As long as such projects are in the hands of non-business people of proven ethical quality and the projects do indeed educate agents of change with the necessary human qualities, then the question of where the money is coming from becomes somewhat irrelevant. Money is dirty in the wrong hands, but is definitely in the right hands if spent on teaching people ‘how to fish’. This is a big step in the direction that Michael Tellinger’s Ubuntu Party wants to take South Africa. The simple ‘free energy’ expedient of hydroelectric power as explained here
KLIX6nPAg9k (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLIX6nPAg9k&list=UULF2DONV6JCJUs6eK6POaxg)
sounds like a good idea for Brazil, which is full of rivers. Maybe those inner city slums could be evacuated to look after the Amazonian rainforest. Just a thought.
The MEP and former student leader in May 68 Dany Cohn-Bendit (still loyal to his values after all these years) is touring Brazil during the World Cup and intends to call in on some of the ex-footballers now playing a social and political role, likes the ones I mentioned. Here are two of the first videos, in French I’m afraid. In the first one he explains the ambivalence of the protesters who have a TV on broadcasting matches even as they demonstrate. They distinguish between the World Cup per se and the FIFA World Cup; and if the team plays well, it will be the one, and if not, the other.
http://www.liberation.fr/video/2014/06/13/le-mondial-de-cohn-bendit-2-un-foot-du-peuple-par-le-peuple-avec-le-peuple_1040102
In the second video, Cohn-Bendit visits a ‘poetry cooperative’, where all generations, men women and children mix happily, reading their literature and poetry.
http://www.liberation.fr/video/2014/06/16/le-mondial-de-cohn-bendit-4-a-sao-paulo-la-poesie-cooperative_1042432
Basically, what I’m trying to say in answer to Violet is that solutions that are going to work are going to be achieved by positive, joyful, enjoyable togetherness. The poor themselves are disempowered and despondent, and so, coming from a place of depression, their contribution can only be a call for help, not a viable solution.

@araucaria. You are bringing forth the same pro-soccer arguments I have been hearing from my husband for years now.
And I accept them as valid, considering how very complex everything is here on earth.
All roads lead to Rome, in the end.
But we each have our pet peeves, as well as our pet agendas, and I'm sure some could make a pretty good argument against my love of beading, if they just want to go deep enough...from the mining of the raw stones, to the Chinese work conditions in the places where there things are made, and finally to the feeding of a woman's possibly narcissistic need to decorate herself.
Or even my own compulsive need to work with my hands stringing beads when I'm tired of typing.
But in view of the greater awakening process going on around us, namely the discovery of humanity's manipulation,
from the gene level, to the psychological, where only a small percentage can manage to escape,
when one would love to see everyone to wake up to their full spiritual potential, I find it really,
really frustrating to see all these efforts being made that keep competitiveness going,
to create heroes exclusively from the ranks of male athletes, and otherwise brainwash billions of people
ever deeper into duality thinking, while suppressing those who want to bring their knowledge regarding the origin of mankind,
or how to shift to a true free energy society to light.
This is the context in which I see the World Cup.

Nice to know I’m in good company :) But it’s not about competitiveness, Ulli: as I said, “Winning is nothing”. The true value of sport is in playful emulation: making each other shine and reach beyond themselves. We do it in intellectual matters too =; when we say something interesting or insightful, it is the outcome of a kind of mental stretching. And pedagogy is all about making the student make that little extra leap from known ground into the unknown. And the same goes in spiritual matters: what we mean by love is perhaps simply playful spiritual emulation.
I have nothing negative to say about those beautiful mind-numbing beads of yours: except perhaps ‘include me out’ :)
I have Scheherezade on the radio just now: the ultimate resolution of the male/female conflict. But we’ve had this conversation before…

These days, I’m on information overload. I’ve recently learned that I (soul) lives in an extra large tuna can. And I’ve lived in many of them for life times before. Or it’s it at the multi-D?
I’m second guessing everything I thought I knew. Add to that, “How do you know someone isn’t making you think those thoughts?”
Several times, in the last year, I’ve tossed out all comforting beliefs, even my guides and angels. They understand it’s important for me to conjoin with higher self, and see what I see. Of late, I question my higher self. Who’s inner knowing/inner voice is it really? It has never been more clear this separation and duality. Is it ego, or it is something more nefarious?
http://avalonlibrary.net/paula/Notices/tincan_phone_zps346864e7.JPG
So on my walk, I put it out there that I need to understand truth of the larger picture. That I am aware that when I am confused, it often means, I’m balking at movement and to understand.
Fast forward a couple of hours, I walked a different way in the yard to pick up garbage someone tossed in the road. And there was the “Michael Feather”. Every year around his birthday, I get a feather. His birthday isn’t until June 19th. They aren’t usually this big any more. I’m taking that as part of my “Stay the course. It’s all there, only I’m still seeing it from a linear perspective.”
A side note: while writing up this post, I got a strange call. The caller ID had my name and phone number. It was a hang up call. That’s never happened. I’ll take it as another confirmation to ‘stay the course’.

Thank you, Araucaria,
To respond to the poor people of Brasil's request not to watch/come to/participate in/... the WC does not entail a direct condemnation of soccer nor does it deny how soccer (and players using their income) in itself can be used for bettering socio-economical situations of both poor, middle-classed and upper-classed people (every body undergoes effects when things change). There's a reason some countries are willing to give a fortune to get that WC in their country and believe you me: it's little to do with football...The people in the favelas, though poor in understanding other things due to lack of education or general calm in their lives, got this one alright.
The anti-thesis. It's not that complicated. The locals must've reasoned like so: the WC is going to bring in lots of (both direct and indirect (tax from restaurants, hotels, purchases made in stores, etc.) revenues to people in charge who are mandated with the protection and provisions for the people but they're just going to put it in their pockets and afterwards they're going to come back and punish less-off locals for having misbehaved in the whole event (e.g. strikes, violence, opening up about national affairs to international media),...So, considering all this, it doesn't matter that he/she is a soccer fan or that the country is soccer-obsessed.
These people are separating their passion (soccer) from their very true needs, which is probably a general form of stability and predictability - something that a lot of "poor" countries are missing, not because of lack of income: some of the countries richest in resources have shameful conditions for their local people. Apparently or so I've heard it's very hard for these people to as little as at the end of a gala evening not throw remaining full buffets in the trashcans, under security simply to prevent the hungry "beggars" waiting outside from getting to it. Yes.
I'm sorry for my slow linking skills :p, I fail to see the hostage-gun similarity.
What can be done by the rich? Well, who said anything about money?
It is not necessary for the rich to impoverish themselves. It's the standing structures that need to become poor and weak and fall, so that better working ones can be set up in their places. Amendments here and there would also be acceptable for a start. And it so happens that rich people are in the right places to do this. They don't need to drive around the country and give people dollar/euro/...-notes, they just need to sign or not sign the right papers. Report abuses when they see them, and not make a good deal for themselves. Respect and apply all the rules that apply for other people, etc. The money (and its improved flows) will follow from itself.
And yes, unfortunately, every time the same thing is said about boycot, which is why it's becoming stigmatic: that the yields will be small, that if you want to boycot, you have to be consistent (which is nearly impossible, but then again, doing nothing makes everything increasingly more impossible for increasingly more people).
The good thing is that in the end none of us has all the answers and that this is a feeling that we can all share and not feel guilty about.

Not sure what personal contribution I can make to this issue, apart from passing it on immediately to a few more readers:
As for the 2 billion cars that Elon speaks of.
2.85 billion fewer polluting cars on the road....for $60M (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?8458-2.85-billion-fewer-polluting-cars-on-the-road....for-60M)
That is a real thread AND the technology functions AND it really is that inexpensive to get rid of THAT level of pollution.
To be done inside of 6 months, and far more done inside of a year (doubled). To end all coal fired pollution inside of a few years. A few $billion later, and no more power plant pollution, period. All still up and running... but they would not longer pollute, at all.
But first, sixty million US dollars and about 6 months of simple work, gets you 2.85 billion less cars on the road, pollution wise.
Yet it is not being done.
The thread is 1,000 percent serious. Many many Hundreds to the low thousands of people have shown that the technology ...
WORKS.
If you are not getting angry yet, you should be.
If you are not acting yet (getting physically involved in a real directed sense), you should be.

The good thing is that in the end none of us has all the answers and that this is a feeling that we can all share and not feel guilty about.
Exactly. Whether we are talking about income or sport, the lesson is that winning is nothing, and so in either case cheating is totally futile and only spoils things. This also applies even to the spiritual battle, which some say is being won or even is already won, as if the stakes were really high. If the stakes seem that high, then we are beginners indeed, and need some coaching from superior entities happy to pretend to lose. As it is, we have unrepentant cheaters at the top, angry losers at the bottom and those in the middle with nothing too much to gain or lose but with guilty feelings at what is going on. When they tire of feeling guilty, they are the ones who can do something about cleaning up the game and making it more enjoyable for all.

A beady story for Ulli :) This morning I heard on the radio Marguerite’s Jewel Song ‘Ah je ris de me voir si belle en ce miroir’ from Gounod’s Faust. (Ah I laugh to see myself so beautiful in this mirror). Momentarily seduced by jewels from Faust in league with Mephistopheles. This aria reminds me of the Tintin comic book Les Bijoux de la Castafiore in which an aging prima donna sings this song until her own jewels are stolen –by a thieving magpie. The fact that she is also singing Rossini’s La Gazza Ladra (The Thieving Magpie) is of course a literary dot-joining device which in real life would be an interesting synchronicity, and Paula might have a word to say about magpies :)
I am also reminded of the time we were in Vienna and got some last-minute standing room in the gods to take a look at the Vienna Opera in a performance of some other Gounod opera. We left at the interval because it was all so excruciatingly academic. Not just the music (Gounod = no good), but also the stage business, all just right and so predictable – unlike Hergé, who has some Roms nearby, who for once are not responsible for the theft.
I only have to mention comic strips for Carmody to come up with the goods. How (un)predictable was that? :)

UPDATE:Just saw Ulli's post. Today, I'm going down in order of the posts. sometimes, it's from the bottom up. Decisions, decisions.
Japanese Company Invents Water Fueled Car
tBm8ogwnpG0
Water Powered Car Unveiled: Yes It’s Real
Everyday the world becomes aware of technologies that have the potential to halt the unnecessary damage we continue to create using fossil fuels. We’ve been talking about it for years, transitioning our way of life to be more harmonious with the planet and its natural systems. I’m not talking about solar or wind power (although great), I’m talking about clean and green technology that render fossil fuel burning technologies inferior and obsolete.
One of these “new” technologies is a water fuelled car, and it has been unveiled on a number of occasions. It’s an automobile that derives its energy directly from water, and water alone. It is not hard to see why it’s not available to the masses. An engine powered by water would wipe out a large chunk of the fossil fuel industry and change the way these companies do business all together. The oil and gas corporations combine to bring in trillions of dollars every year. Inventions like these are a direct threat to the industry.
JAPANESE COMPANY UNVEILS WATER POWERED CAR
A Japanese company called Genepax unveiled their water powered car in 2008 in Osaka, Japan(1). It doesn’t matter if it’s tap, bottled, or lake water, any type of water can make this car run. An energy generator splits the water molecules to produce hydrogen and this is used to power the car. They use a membrane electrode assembly (MEA) to split the Hydrogen from the Oxygen through a chemical reaction. The cell needs only water and air, eliminating the need for a hydrogen reformer and high pressure hydrogen tank.
This isn’t a conspiracy! The reality of this device has been verified by patent offices all over the world. To search a Japanese patent, you have to go through the Industrial Property Digital Library (IPDL). This organization makes patents available to the intellectual property department of the Japan Patent Office. The IDPL provides over 60 million documents and their relevant information as published since the end of the 19th century. The fact that these are even published for patent pending says a lot.
Click HERE (http://www19.ipdl.inpit.go.jp/PA1/cgi-bin/PA1DETAIL) to view the water energy system patent.

One day, I am taking a taxi in a remote town of the province, from the local airport, to the hotel where i was presenting, and had a good chat with the taxi driver because we were seeing chemtrails even in this remote area.
Then he started to tell me about a friend of his, whom everybody knew in the small town, who had created a very efficient motor for a car running on water, in the 70's, and was using himself his prototype since, but got a visit from some people and had no choice but to accept the money and shut his mouth - he is a millionnaire since, and nobody knows about his motor.
This has been going on forever and lots of people were paid off all along the line of creators or they were dead
That was one of the most interesting taxi ride I ever had

All Librans should start their days with a mirror song like that.
but opera is not for everyone....and getting Bianca Castafiore out of my head will take me a while,
like that world soccer jingle which is playing somewhere every few minutes.

I helped my son collect all of Herge's Tin Tin books during the eighties and really enjoyed reading along with him.
And since there was nothing to be found afterwards that kept my attention from cover to cover, with Tin Tin ended my three decades long love affair with books, with the exception of studying (rather demanding) Bahai literature.
And then with the mid-nineties all my reading became digitalized. I still have a few bookshelves left, but periodically have to throw books out, as they are not only covered with mold, but hollowed out by wood worm. Such is life in the tropics.
Bird symbolism is a favorite of mine, as I live in bird watcher country. So what with vultures, hawks, swallows, doves, and even cranes appearing in regular intervals there are never any signal outages from the spirit world.
This season parrots have filled the gigantic eucalyptus trees in front of my house by the tens of thousands, like never before....no exaggeration.
And these parrots have not yet discovered how to sing opera....as no one has introduced it to them...shrieks is all I get to hear. (Yeah, yeah, I got the message)

This wasn't some small group working out of their garages on a free energy device.
So, this is a symptom.
We cannot look at it as if it is a mosquito bite, and we scratch it. That is a very small circle of logic.
Likewise, we cannot see this as a simple story of 'oligarchs suppressing technology'. That circle of logic is too small, and does not apply.
There is deeper meaning behind this.
And when we reach that level of understanding, we merely find ourselves on another plateau, with more hills to climb.
The reasons behind the suppression are a few levels beyond the oligarchical systems of control. At least one level beyond their facade.
But we do know, with the brown's gas alone, the carbon credits game and the idea of pollution are banished in one fell swoop, with an existing technology that goes deep enough into known society and circles, that it is impossible to ignore or eradicate. You'd have to wipe out the entire planet in order to remove it from the lexicon of engineered human life, at this point.
Thousands and thousands (of people) all over every continent, are aware of this technology, and are playing with it. One of the most prevalent, right now, is Thailand. There is more than one company in Thailand that sells browns gas generators. Chinese companies are also coming on-line (coming into commercial existence with functional devices) in this area.
Just do a search for HHO, Brown's gas, hydroxy, etc..on the Chinese Alibaba website.
http://www.alibaba.com/trade/search?fsb=y&IndexArea=product_en&CatId=&SearchText=browns+gas+
So, we are getting there and getting there quickly.
But not fast enough.
The western game of carbon credits is being shown as the sham and scam that it is. Perhaps it was initiated in order to get recognition of the problem on the table and in everyone' face, but it quickly ground down in the mire of being a control lever game via oligarchs and connected systems that hide in the dark corners of the backdrop.
And when we finally gather the names and stories of all those who have died and been torn down in their attempts of bringing in a better world for humans, we e can then see about bringing those who have erred, to some form of accounting for their misdeeds.
Again, at the top of this thing, we find 'stories'. Stories like ..some hard realities that we generally don't like to face. Stories, form example, from Joseph Farrell, where he, in his words (paraphrased here) is getting the understanding that if humanity moves forward in complex technologies without having a serous level of high technology offense and defense, that we would be crushed -in no uncertain terms. Who, what, when and where that message is delivered, is part of the problem, regarding most people's ability to grasp such considerations, even in such rarefied areas of self illumination in difficult data sets that Joseph brings to the table.
Another, that the moon itself, is, in all it's facets, somewhere near 100% impossible. That it cannot be there, and all about it, everything that it is..... is artifice.
In that context, the story from Ingo Swann, his book 'penetration'. What he found when he visited the moon. Which is hard to ignore in the context of known examples, both the governmental and societal, on ESP, Remote viewing and general bio-locational aspects of the complexity of human life. now moving into the thousands of verified scientific tests in this area. What we, as complex beings..are. The whole story of Russel Targ, Hal Puthoff, as written up by Jim Marrs and so on.
That these holes are miles deep and continents wide, and is essentially an integral part of any of this discussion, and is entirely in and of context, in all ways. Also, much much more in those areas is all on the table and involved, like Credo Mutwa's story of personal abduction.
For if such things are not in context and not part of the mindedness of the discussion, direction, and the intent, then we are all wasting our time here, and living in a tiny circular bubble that leads nowhere at all.
I can make a funny ... and show Wiley's little cartoon, and then hope that society gets such simplistic terms and thoughts and finally moves forward on these incredibly simplistic considerations...
...but that is, really, in all seriousness, about 270 or more degrees behind the curve, behind the reality of what is going on here. This incessant desire of the self to dumb down and out, into a torn monkey, going in circles. When the context of what is going on is so much more varied and layered than that. That we communicate and cognate in the minimal consciousness state of ego filter (only ~12% of complex daily life is conscious, the rest is automatic), via this organic machine, which is essentially an autonomous vectored device, self impelled, and is of strong filtered dominance. Which is both good and bad. Good for stability in avatar terms, but bad with respect to attempts to move into evolved and grown independence.
Personally, I perceive strong evidence that the avatar can be mastered.... but the attempts to do so, must be intense, to a level that is at least as strong as the entire scope of the life that is lived. Yet the filtered and dominant avatar and the window itself, all turn the occupant and the window away from itself, at nearly every turn, in every breath, in every thought, in every moment.
But we've been though all this before.

James Gilliland has been mentioning Brown's Gas for quite some time on his interviews and when hosting his own show.
Don't remember hearing of that prior to your mentioning on the forum.
Time (as we view it) is spiraling and growing ever faster (according to some theories at least ... but feels that way).
Don't think the wait is too much longer to see how things sort out ... and in my opinion ... that is a good thing regardless ...

Speaking of spirals ... that reminded me of an obscure song ... one of which I doubt anyone here has heard of (but I have been proven wrong before on that sort of assumption).

Craziest thing I have ever done in my life (by far) was climbing into a 1961 Ford Falcon car (in 1974) and taking about a two day trip to see a concert in Cleveland Ohio where the warm up band was the Strawbs (Blue Oyster Cult was the lead band).
Picked up another friend in Indiana University (about halfway) and on the 2nd day we had 4 of the 5 tripping (literally ...not the driver thank god). Car broke down in the morning traffic along the way and we could hear a siren coming closer and closer ... louder and louder.
I about sh!t my pants.
Alas ... twas a rescue vehical and all was well ... no heart attacks etc.
Car lived to see another day but don't remember how.

Well, Calz, in the end, the Buddhist must fix themself, as no other function will suffice.
That the answer is always inside, and only once it is internally handled... can it be externalized.
No external force or ghost, or wisdom - can get that done.
Only internal efforts will get it done.
All the external ghost can do is, is but charge at the avatar and occupant like a crazed demon, hoping the reflection will finally spur some internal motion toward an effort put into reaching clarity. At the same time, to leave the spoor and clues of clarity in sign, language, and form..everywhere.
Anything else, just reinforces the fundamental weakness of leaving the avatar in the drivers seat, while the occupant sleeps.

In everyone's life there must come a moment when you (and only you)
decides what thoughts to allow, and if they are in line with your understanding of yourself.
then you can relax, and be yourself, and not have any more doubts, and stand by that.
Only one question matters, what did I come here to DO???
Surely not just to listen to yourself, and all those internal cacophonies, passively allowing them to invade the self, one by one, distract and interrupt every half-formed agenda...or is that it?
I believe our search for who we are is THE most important issue in life. Why am I here?
If a variety of answers pop up, make a choice, which appeals the most. Or multi- task. But know what you are doing, and why.
If later on thoughts pop into your mind which question the earlier understanding, then again, YOU decide whether to accept and integrate them, in the context of an ever changing world, or reject them.
Invent yourself, be creative. Be that. Get into that authority. Live life. Follow your bliss. Allow for changes, after careful deliberation.
That is conscious living.

Numerology (http://theawakenedstate.tumblr.com/Numerology) and synchronicities certainly are fascinating, for the past few years and especially during the past few weeks I've been constantly seeing the number of my birthdate, constantly and everywhere, just like the other number sequences it just keeps coming up. Also apparently my lucky numbers are 3, 6, 9. I do like the number 13. Numbers and synchronicities everywhere I go and look. I assume it is the overself guiding me.
"Numerology has many various meanings, they symbolize pathway numbers that are sequences unlocked in our congnition(like jungian psychology) that activate our higher consciousness through the dna strands. They are also messages from our angels and guides usually at certain moments in our day we will find them. Depending on when you see these numbers, really think about what is happening at that moment i’m assuming this is more about a message in what you’re thinking or the situation when these numbers are given to you."
"If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, then you'd have the key to the universe".

Very funny, Grip. My kind of humor.
And Wind, the more you enter into the land of reality the more these little number connections and synchronicities will happen. They are part of the territory.
And the moment you stop being curious about numbers it will all stop again.
The reality you perceive has to do with your focus, whichever that might be.

One interesting offshoot of the World Cup. The Baccalauréat is the French nationwide exam which is the same for all 18-year-olds still at school. One geography question asked of all but the scientists is on “the territorial dynamics of Brazil”. Wish them luck with that. Regardless of the content, they are certainly getting kids to think “outside the penalty box”, and the smart ones who have done their homework for this typically topical question will get high marks.

@Wind, just heard on the radio, ‘Ten is an important number this autumn…’ According to Maurice Cotterell’s analysis of the Mayan number system, they used decimals, and a better approximation of 10 is actually 9.9999999999….
Emily Greer has cancer (Mrs. Steven Greer)
saw this yesterday in Menkaure's "Another 'Whisleblower' Silenced" thread
Here's the news from Dr Steven Greer's www.SiriusDisclosure.com website:
Dear Friends and Supporters,
It is with a very heavy heart that I must inform you that we have just learned that my dear wife Emily has been diagnosed with cancer, non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
At this time, and for the foreseeable future, we are completely focused on Emily's healing and support.
For this reason you may not be hearing from me for some time, but updates will be sent as possible. You can sign up for updates at www.SiriusDisclosure.com.
Please remember Emily in your thoughts and prayers so that she may be filled with light, peace and complete healing.
In Universal Peace,
Steven M. Greer MD
I've met Emily several times. I would describe her as one human with a "pure, kindly and radiant heart". She also makes great spaghetti! Here and Now I am typing on my keyboard and I was so bummed. This news is so sad on several levels. I can't remember ever crying since I was about ten years old. This news had me close. But if I lean back in my chair and close my eyes I can see a happy Steve and Emily, and I can smell her great spaghetti sauce. And that makes me smile!
Any positive thoughts or healing sent their way will be greatly appreciated!

I'm currently sitting in the train station getting ready to board. On my way here I was speeding down rural Missouri roads and hit a wild turkey with my car. My windshield is shattered and the top of my car bent. I feel miserable for killing such a beautiful animal...all because I was rushing and not being mindful.
Just thought I'd share...mindfulness is a good thing to practice in all avenues of life. This poor turkey is now a victim of my anxiety of being late. I'm going to visit my Lady in California...being late would have been a no-no!
If anybody would like to see what hitting a 30+ pound male wild Turkey while driving 65 mph down a rural Missouri road looks like...here you go:

Ulli, what you said about how dreams and other dimensions are a great part of my life makes the perfect sense to me now. I didn't know that astrology could explain that aspect too. What a night last night was, so many different things going on "there". Often they leave me too dumbfound.

It is a stretch, and it has a big hole in it :) And is it a Nazi symbol or an ancient Tibetan one? Let's put our imaginations to better use. You might like to see a yin and a yang in what is actually an engineer's elegant solution for making a sphere out of the two smallest strips of rubber.

I've a number thing going too there, Wind, but it's not consistent: at its height, I see structure in the world because of following numbers, what's been known about them through history and how they seem to appear at just the places where they are supposed to/expected to be. I have had fights with some numbers, trying to outsmart them and have them not appear, but they win. I'd have to organise a fair amount of such fights, to make their victory a somewhat scientifical constant.
At its low, I think that counting up consecutive numbers in fractals or birthdays is nothing more but an arbitrary child's game and that if you do it long enough, something must come out of it. As does lottery. At its low too, I question the direct relation of the number with the attributions it's received over the centuries.

555, 5555 - This is the 'Change' sign. It is seen whenever you have had a change of mind about anything, and is a reflection of your state of mind. It prompts you to ask, “Hmm, a change of mind. Where will this change lead me?” It relates to any subject where you have changed your mind, and advises you think a little about it first, and to be sure this new direction is really the one you wish to take.

The above story of a Brazilian family with six fingers reminds me of the John Wyndham novel, The Chrysalids, in which such physical deviations are so commonplace that religious bigotry against the Mutants has half the population in the ‘Badlands’ behind a buffer zone, the ‘Fringes’. The story begins with a girl with an extra toe. Eventually, though she does nothing wrong, this friend of the hero gets him in trouble, but he has a deviation of his own. He can communicate (out loud) with a friend who is elsewhere – he doesn’t have a cellphone (this was written in 1955): it is a primitive form of telepathy. This is an extremely interesting deviation to have and develop, especially when his little sister can make herself heard thousands of miles away, because it inevitably leads to isolated individuals joining forces - that is what telepathy means and does – and eventually linking up with a whole community of like-minded people. But it also does just the opposite: it divides the population into telepaths and non-telepaths. The following quote has relevance to what we are seeing in the world today, above and beyond the notion of telepathy. What we see as sociopathy and contamination by sociopaths, or as the ‘breakaway society’ described by Richard Dolan and others, is just the old way of operating acting in desperation. The real breakaway society is actually those who are moving away from this diehard position. Wyndham’s chrysalids take the back door exit from Orwell’s dystopia.
In loyalty to their kind they cannot tolerate our rise; in loyalty to our kind, we cannot tolerate their obstruction.
If the process shocks you, it is because you have not been able to stand off and, knowing what you are, see what a difference in kind must mean. Your minds are confused by your ties and your upbringing: you are still half-thinking of them as the same kind as yourselves. This is why you are shocked. And that is why they have you at a disadvantage, for they are not confused. They are alert, corporately aware of danger to their species. They can see quite well that if it is to survive they have not only to preserve it from deterioration, but they must protect it from the even more serious threat of the superior variant.

Thanks for this interesting ‘mise en abyme’, Violet. It suggests a photograph, but in the place of the photographer there would have to be just a few fingers holding a mirror over an armchair. It suggests a mirror, but what you see is not behind but in front of you. So there is no subject, and no photographer, and no mirror, and of course no chair and no landscape either: nothing but a pattern endlessly repeating itself. Food for thought.

Something nice ‘n’ shallow for eaglespirit ;)
Ulli, having a soccer follower in the house, there are one or two things you need to know relating to Costa Rica’s role in the unfolding drama. CR is in the same group as England, and did them a favour by beating Uruguay, who last night beat England, who also lost their first game, against Italy. So now to have any hope of qualifying, England needs two more favours from CR, who has to lose both its remaining games, against Italy, and against England by two goals. This ain’t gonna happen because what everyone is forgetting is that Costa Rica is itself a useful outfit, not just making up numbers, and will probably qualify along with Italy by beating England. So I think we are in for a lot of smiling Costa Ricans and glum Englishmen – which should be OK from your viewpoint. I’m afraid happiness or even survival comes at someone’s expense (see my previous post) – until we learn not to mind (the long-suffering England supporters are learning that trick the hard way).

Everyone around here is gearing up to beat Italy today. I had to unbefriend endless Facebook contacts because the football mania was just becoming a bit too much.
Costa Ricans smile more than other people anyway,
and when they go into overdrive to me it's a reminder that I'm more comfortable with moderation in all things.
I understand that due to my birth chart configuration I have always had a predisposition to excess,
and my higher I AM just doesn't want that anymore, neither from within, nor without.
So, stuff the planets, as well as all the smiling Costa Ricans.

I’m happy to hear about your healing and growth journey. I’ll be on the look out for next time you pop in.
For me, it’s not how far or how much. It’s to bring clarity and change to aspects that benefit who I am now. Sometimes it’s the small that breaks open the unseen.
And a relatively new concept I play with is that nothing needs to change, only love who I am.

You mean screaming, roaring, car horn honking Costa Ricans...
even out here in the sticks, far from civilisation, with no media turned on,
I could not escape the effects of the emotional tsunami that just rolled in.
P.S.
Just got a call from my husband. He is trying to get home from work, and I could hardly understand a word as the noise from the people in the street and the other cars was deafening.
What I did get, without a doubt, was his total hysteria...

What I did get, without a doubt, was his total hysteria...
like I have not witnessed in 25 years of marriage.

Convair won the competition with their Sea Dart design. This sleek, delta-winged fighter had two retractable water skis on the bottom, which would enable it to cruise along the surface of the water in essentially the same way that a water skier would. A special watertight hull and turbojet intakes mounted high above the wings would make the Sea Dart a fully sea-worthy aircraft that could take-off from the surface of the water. - See more at: http://strikefighterconsultinginc.com/blog/the-sea-dart-the-worlds-fastest-flying-boat/#sthash.Q9pS8gum.dpuf

I'm much closer to Carmody's feelings about competitive sports in general, but exponentially moreso with watching professional sports. I consider professional sports as a powerful opiate to the masses, a major circus in the "bread and circuses" used to manipulate us into complacency with the status quo - or worse, to make us accept competitive outcomes (a few winners, many losers) as natural and normal and positive.
This desire to watch competition is a learned behavior, and a negative one. I believe "cooperation, not competition" is the motto for an enlightened populace. Competition, driven deep into the psyche as "normal", programs acceptance for competitive behavior that ranges all the way to sociopathic and criminal. People would not be blind and numb to the global Elite's deeds if this competitive mind infection were not so prevalent.
Playing competitive sports is a bit more of a gray area for me, but I do see that (because of lack of education about not allowing competitiveness to become an all-encompassing personality trait/attribute, and deprogramming that) it is the unbridled funnel towards that sociopathic-level competitiveness. I think we can have the exercise of sport and the challenge of sport with an "ubuntu" attitude as our major and deepest attribute, and maybe, if carefully and thoughtfully taught and expressed as a strictly temporary mindset - not allowing it to unconsciously breed sociopathic competitiveness - then maybe it could be a strictly positive experience. I do see coaches at the kid level of competitive sports trying to instill "good sportsmanship", but it is not fully explored and taught as a boundary that - if crossed - becomes programmed and has negative outcomes in society.
Not trying to make more of it than that, but didn't want to stay silent either.

My oldest brother(I have two and honor each of them) was an athletic director and football coach for years and was an all-star quarterback in high school.
He instilled 'good sportsmanship' in a loving and tough way...if those attributes can be accepted together in the young football world, Dennis.
He pretty much lived his career as an 'it is what it is' modus operandi ...but loved those kids dearly in our male societal way.
He knows there was something very wrong in there...but shrugged it off making a living and embraced the sports world as many in my family do.
The third generation of kids in my family all excel at some sport...when I meet one on one with them I can see and feel their own inner knowing that something is not right with intense competitiveness...and each of them are well rounded enough to simply make it a personal goal of achievement without garnering jealousy or judgement, to them or from them, they are simply good kids. And that has alot to do with a loving family life..although very sports oriented.
I played sports and was pretty good but never gained any incentive to excel. I am a bit of a 'black sheep' in my family in that regards but am loved and accepted for what I am and how I live.
Changes are going to come, I feel...and come on strong to turn all of these worlds within our world more right-side up as we grow more humane as the inevitable light around us shines stronger and stronger.
Just my 2 cents on a very wary topic and issue...as are most that need abrupt correction now...but it will happen, inevitable again, imho!

So I had to confront the man myself, why was he still continuing when he had been told not to.
His answer was that it was just the leftovers he was using. I told him not to use it, but throw it away.
He back-talked some more, saying that the trimmer didnt get the weeds on our cobble stone path, and I had to tell him that it didnt matter if some green showed up there, and that his health, our health and the planet's health were more important. He then asked where to dump it ( here nothing which costs money gets dumped) I said 'somewhere where it can do no harm, maybe the cesspit.

Thank you Dennis, I don’t disagree with anything you say. I’ve made my point and won’t labour it further. We are not where we need to be, and have different not necessarily incompatible perspectives and ideas on how to move forward, if that is possible; I think it is.
What to do with unwanted Roundup? Good question. What to do with weeds in a path? That’s easier. Boiling water; or seawater I am told.

I watched a documentary years ago about when it was decided that each city would get a major league team as well as a stadium, for bread and circus, most of which came out of the New Deal 80 years ago and the social engineering of Edward Bernays.
Yet, bread and circus has been around since Rome, and so has slavery and control, all based on a paradigm of scarcity. Therefore, to compete for scarce resources, and survival of the fittest based on competition, rewards and punishments for revered or abhorrent social behaviors, peer pressure, the games were developed to show how the most revered classes in our society are the athletes and movie stars.
They get paid unholy gargantuan amounts of money to parade in front of the camera and keep the social programming in place, and we are told that we too can ascribe to becoming filthy rich and beautiful if we just try hard and follow all the rules of competitiveness, and then compassion for no child left behind who is less fortunate.
A good movie to watch which illustrates this is "Gladiator"

Good One...had to share Here and Now
.......
“I was so shocked. That was the first time I was brought face to face with what is done here to people exhibiting the same symptoms I’ve seen in my village.” What struck Dr. Somé was that the attention given to such symptoms was based on pathology, on the idea that the condition is something that needs to stop. This was in complete opposition to the way his culture views such a situation. As he looked around the stark ward at the patients, some in straitjackets, some zoned out on medications, others screaming, he observed to himself, “So this is how the healers who are attempting to be born are treated in this culture. What a loss! What a loss that a person who is finally being aligned with a power from the other world is just being wasted.”
Another way to say this, which may make more sense to the Western mind, is that we in the West are not trained in how to deal or even taught to acknowledge the existence of psychic phenomena, the spiritual world. In fact, psychic abilities are denigrated. When energies from the spiritual world emerge in a Western psyche, that individual is completely unequipped to integrate them or even recognize what is happening. The result can be terrifying. Without the proper context for and assistance in dealing with the breakthrough from another level of reality, for all practical purposes, the person is insane. Heavy dosing with anti-psychotic drugs compounds the problem and prevents the integration that could lead to soul development and growth in the individual who has received these energies.

There is currently an exhibition on at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris on the subject of ‘insanity’ in art, based on the writings of Antonin Artaud, himself a psychiatric case .
Artaud was incensed by Beer's clinical portrayal of the painter's madness and challenged this analysis, accusing society as a whole of driving Van Gogh to suicide by its indifference or in order to "prevent him from uttering unspeakable truths".
"Van Gogh therefore committed suicide because the collective consciousness as a whole could no longer tolerate him".
http://www.musee-orsay.fr/en/events/exhibitions/in-the-musee-dorsay/exhibitions-in-the-musee-dorsay-more/article/van-gogh-artaud-37162.html?tx_ttnews[backPid]=649&cHash=30091f1792 (http://www.musee-orsay.fr/en/events/exhibitions/in-the-musee-dorsay/exhibitions-in-the-musee-dorsay-more/article/van-gogh-artaud-37162.html?tx_ttnews%5bbackPid%5d=649&cHash=30091f1792)
The value of Avalon and many others is safety in numbers: creating an alternative collective consciousness strong enough to resist what is not a suicidal urge per se, more like the rejection of transplanted tissue.
And of course, as we saw below, not only are the wrong people often locked, those that need to be are not.

The refusal to face and integrate one's shadow personalities leads to the hypocracy of the so-called normal person,
and their repression of that part of themselves then manifests or emerges in the behavior patterns of the more sensitive family members who are less hypocritical, and are not as adept at hiding their feelings.
So then you have moved from the divided self to the divided family. The next division level is then the split of the generations, and so you get a divided community. Then the bureaucrats compulsive need for order makes them form all sorts of societal structures, like religious congregations and clubs, and then you have the "believer" versus the "non-believer", or infidel.
At the national level you also have the split between rich and poor, and racism. And globally you have the first (western) world on one extreme and third world on the other.
To integrate opposites means to strive for balance, and an understanding of the needs of all sides.

Yes, but then they come up against decent human beings who use their religious congregations to spread loving community values, and their clubs (including professional sports clubs) to spread the message that unity and solidarity wins out every time against divisiveness, individualism and rivalry. The idea of using the herd instinct to divide the so-called sheeple was an elementary, major, fatal mistake because, whatever the quality, maturity or whatever of the individuals involved, humanity as a collective is, unlike the banks, genuinely too big to fail. Dennis, I watched that video just the day before yesterday (again) among some other interesting "test" videos from the 1950's. How funny that the US government started the war on consciousness in the 1960's and only now there have been new scientific studies about the positive effects of the psychedelics. I think that the warmongerers Tricky Dick and daddy Bush were the key figures when it came down to dumbing down the society. I think that the human consciousness is finally rising, slowly but surely. It cannot be stopped anymore, it will not be stopped anymore. Time for opression is over and it is up to us to renew the society and human spirit.
"As God's purpose is to glorify the individual [hu]man (or soul) in the earth, so the highest purpose of an individual soul or entity is to glorify the Creative Energy or God in the earth."
"For the entity, as each soul, is a portion of the whole. Thus, though a soul may be as but a speck upon the earth's environs, and the earth in turn much less than a mote in the universe, if the spirit of man is so attuned to the Infinite, the music of harmony becomes as the divine love that makes for the awareness in the experience of the Creative Forces working with self for the knowledge of the associations with same." - Edgar Cayce (readings)

I don't watch soccer either, but can't escape the news about the surrounding drama.
The Spanish team, former world champions, yet the first team out of the world cup after their defeat,
(Reminded me of the prophecy "The first will be the last"..) arrived at Madrid airport, and just before landing their plane was struck by lightning.
Collective consciousness at work...
Similar to when lightning struck the Vatican last year.

There is a pattern to this. It happened to Italy last time around, and it has happened to France twice over. They won in 98, lost early in 2002, were runners-up in 2006, and in 2010 hit rock-bottom, literally going on strike. Since then they have spent four years of soul-searching and cleaning up their act. They are set to do well again this year, but they really need, win or lose, is a little more stability. At the moment, they are behaving like Sitchin’s Armageddonites, replaying what happened two precessional ages ago.
Meanwhile, Ulli, brace yourself for some more euphoria. Costa Rica have the easiest game possible in the next round, and will be expected to beat Greece, who miraculously qualified with a last-minute penalty.

There is something inside me. It stirs. It is powerful beyond what I can believe, and without a huge chunk of black tourmaline it seems beyond what I can handle. It stirs. And if it is me, well...then...I just don't know what. I am going to damnwell have to figure this out.

Spirit, in its purest form, is so easily felt and touched in a child. In an innocent. The beauty. The raw and untempered love. The trust. Gawd. The pure existence inside those little beings.
Something has got to happen. It just does. I'm so full of...this...movement...this...rage. I have not typically been a rageful person. I swear. I even asked those close to me, because I know my perspective is from inside my own ego/self. There is only one single thing that pulls rage. So when that one single thing happens on a massive scale, I am left to wonder. Is this mine? It isn't anger. It is a justice-feeling. I wish I could unleash it. I really do.
Okay, haha, you guys have started me sharing again. See what you did?

I enjoy country western genre. It’s easy for me to hear the lyrics. Garth Brooks is a rockin’ dude.
Me, too. Based on some of the forum responses, there's a lot of stirring energies. AND you've gone through a lot of stuff this year. AND it's the beginning of a new year cycle for Cancerians. I find that this time of year kick starts a level of 'house cleaning'. Happy Re-Birth-Day.

What makes you think that I observe Ramadan? And since Costa Rica has no Muslim population to speak of, anyway, this won't be a problem here. My point was that suddenly Costa Ricans have discovered Greece and now even Greek food.

Growl!!!
Aghhh!!!
:mad2:
Just got back from taking my kids to the doc for their "summer physicals" (needed to go back to school in the fall).
:frusty:
Their normal doctor was "booked" for the whole freakin summer (wtf???).
Thus I had to go through the whole line on nonsense on vaccinations and so on ... yet again ... with another brainwashed tool of the matrix.
I tried to be calm this time ... no shouting was involved (as has been the case in the past) ... but it truly never ceases to boggle my mind how people smart enough to make it though medical school are so blind to what is so very obvious once you step outstide the box.
"Well ... you gotta watch out for that nonsense on the internet" ...
:faint:
:violin:
Wow ... after all these years ... I still am astounded at those people so very bright that are still so very deep in the matrix.
... did I say "growl" yet???

I'd post a Don Johnson tune, but I'm not that cruel....
..say..that guy on the right kinda looks like Don Johnson.

Like my family members tend to have to say at birthdays, "just blow out the damn candles, already".

I want to express the gratitude I have for everyone’s inputs. I understand it’s about doing the work. But because of the folks of Avalon, Bill and the Mods, I would not have grown exponentially, and in diversity.
There’s a now smaller voice in the noggin that says, “Say what?”. More and more it’s easy to see that it’s only surface differences. From the larger perspective, we all care about moving us into greater consciousness.
It is my desire that everyone (sleepers) gets to feel this changing voice. The only advice I’d give, is to be prepared for blessed tears of love and joy to explode from the root, the noggin, and the heart.
Love,
Paula <3
