Wind, I love your creation. I finally figured out how to post the image to the thread: you right click on the thumbnail, not the full image. Then you choose "copy image address".
Then you click on the image icon above the PA edit box, and before you paste the URL of the image into that box, make sure you delete the "http", otherwise it appears in duplicate and the image can't be copied.
And finally you click on "Post Quick Reply", and there you are.
Took me some minutes to create it, but I created several other ones earlier before that one and discarded them. One could easily spend whole day (or night) drawing those beautiful images. I almost forgot how fun it is to create something new.

I’ve given myself permission to escape with or is it through? or by way of? a Jason Statham movie marathon the last couple of days.
ADHD about it though. It’s taken about 2 1/2 hours to watch the first hour. I watched “The Chef” last evening.

I am totally rocking a new device and a new service provider, this post was dictated rather than typed which I guess is somewhat of an improvement.

I may well be skypeable in the future.
Rad phone, PL.
No jealousy, no envy now… Drum roll please….
I still got me one of them thar “beam me up Scotty” types.
Don’t let the gold fool you. It’s evening and I used an iPad camera. For someone that’s been into tech and writing code before there were programs that wrote it, and backing up my work on a tape recorder (yes, tape recorder) since the early to mid-80’s…. this does not compute.
The good news is I’ve only paid $5-$15 a year for service (not a month) for the last 12ish years. My minutes roll over, as long as I put $5 worth of minutes a year, they extend my contract. The bad news is I have to drive 3 miles down the road to get service because I live too far out.
It one small way to stick to the PTW.

Funny that, thanks Samwise. It reminds me that for centuries the French have been unable to pronounce their own word for mosquito. Owing to the position of its stressed syllables, the language is in the habit of clipping the ends of words (things like Beethove, Monte-Carle even today…) so when the word mosquito became mosquite – or actually mousquite – so many people couldn’t get their tongues round it that it became and remained moustique. They couldn’t pronounce mousquite, but they could say mousquette (musket), which I suppose helped them to distinguish between a musketeer (mousquetaire) and a mosquito-net (moustiquaire). Musketeers of course have a problem of their own: countability - the “three musketeers” being Athos, Porthos, Aramis and d’Artagnan. :)

I wish all the sharing could be happy sharing...I have to put the morning happening here.
And 'they are only chickens', as some would say, but never the less.
I went to my Daughter's to take Purdy for a walk, no one was home.
My Daughter has had chickens since before I came back from CA.
I went to get them fresh water and check for eggs and the stronger chickens were pecking at the one weakest one that had broken her leg that I splintered and she was healing and my Daughter was trying to get her back with the others.
We had had her in Purdy's dog traveling pen separate while she got better.
Well...I kinda went ballistic on the chickens, chased them away in the coop, and rather loudly screamed "you let her heal...you leave her alone" and on and on..
As I was coming with water from the hose the 'king' queen was pecking at her again and made one aggressive peck at her neck...and....she died, broke her neck.
So of course, I feel responsible, they may have weakened her already, I do not know.
I placed her in the woods at my new yard with some tobacco.
Chickens have very little to no empathy, and so it is.
I am not a farmer by any means, so I am rather upset.
And I will be fine, just a little time.
Have a Good Day : )

Oh, sorry, Dan. I wasn’t aware of how complex it is to care for chickens. After reading several site, it’s clear you are not in the least responsible for the little one’s death. Your yelling was out of the frustration and a natural reaction to protect her from further trauma and physical abuse. RIP Little Chicky.

I’ve been dreaming a lot about insects. Last weekend, I picked up my first praying mantis off the sidewalk and put him on the flowers where it was safer than the bustle of market shoppers.
I’m going through weirdness. I’ve given myself permission to indulge in movies for almost a week. Most of them I fast forward, like the car chases and violence. A couple them I’ve fast forwarded to the ending before I’m even a quarter way through!
I’ve taken this stillness up a notch with Ben & Jerry’s. On my way out to exercise, I toss the empties into the dumpster to hide the evidence from myself.

eaglespirit I'm sorry about the little chicken.
Have a similar situation here with Bubba. Bubba came home from surgery with a big splint and bandage oon his paw and an Elizabethan looking collar on his neck to keep him from pulling at his bandages. My other cat (female) is much smaller than he is picked on him attacking and hissing almost unmercifully. Had to keep them completely separated untill the bandages came off. Now he is going after her.... but they are starting to get along a little better.
Good time for going within, healing and the gestalt.

Looking for good sponsor-a-child programs.
There are some very well known ones but recently a Dutch undercover documentary showed the corruption (that of course all-in-all you take into consideration) with which the beneficiary orphan children were left to watch only as the money/goods that were sent to them were neatly stacked away by the board.
So, if anyone has had any good experiences please share them!

I was contemplating starting a thread concerning the use of the Oxford comma, but then I thought that members would ridicule it because it is irrelevant to conspiracies. Then I thought about somehow turning it into a conspiracy by researching different personality types and seeing how they fit into utilizing the Oxford comma, coupled with comparing that to the idea that this is an example of clear division with humanity (if we cannot agree on this silly subject, how can we ever agree to more important ones?). Then I found myself thinking about starting a thread in the members-only section, but.....ehhh.
So I'll just post an interesting/compelling/silly link here, and for those who are interested, do check out! :)

A bit of a short story revealed to me tonite by a friend of the brother(in law) of the husband and wife I am living with.
Did I tell You that They are beautiful and endless giving people?! : )
Seems this Friend knows quite a bit about the rather devious and unthinkable things that have gone on for years...and still going on to one degree or another as I type.
The company he is now retired from at one time in it's early history was rather incredulously involved in human testing unbeknownst to those employees until the statute of limitations expired and the truth came out.
There is only one very old and severely deformed Woman surviving from this travesty. Class action never took place but this Woman had uncovered this mess and has an active suit of her own which presumably is still valid and filed before expiration and billions of dollars involved...whose going to collect?, ummm, the lawyers if the story is as told.
I am going to look more into it.
The Woman is on Her deathbed with no surviving Family Heirs.
Seems the company was doing some rather interesting testing with the 'oatmeal' they fed the employees in the cafeteria. A newer poison at the time was lacing all the oatmeal served all the time back then. The state??? and??? were involved. Hundreds of slow and atrocious deaths were the result through the following years.
And You all know from this site and elsewhere that this has been and is going on somehow somewhere...but to hear it from someone that is connected to the story rather directly was a bit of a shock even for me because this occurred so close by.
Why? Why? Why?

The extent to which your society judges your intellect by your ability to use the Oxford comma will make for your worries to accordingly in- or decrease.
What's that trick again to find a lost thing? I lost my cam.
Nat, I hear Juniper Berry's good for muscle ache. Also, I (mis)used herbal artritis pommade for this purpose and it did wonders.
Sync: mosquito nest in the gutter in the garden. As soon as the lid comes off, hundreds of mosquitos swarm out (we don't do that of course, but the lost cat occasionally does after which we have to spend at least three days clearing the house. I don't see why he would want to go hide in there by his own volition. You'd think the mosquitos would sting him to death). The trick is to keep doors and windows closed on that side of the house. Then again, rooms need ventilating. We put a fine mesh beneath the ground roster so the mosquitos don't get out but they are still very visibly in there and eventually they do find their way into the house because they are in the ventilation system, so they come out through the ventilation rosters in the house walls. I can't all tape them off. Plus whatever I pour into the rosters (e.g. chlorine) will run through the ventilation system into our own system. I'm guessing there's a sewer problem somewhere that causes permanent still water to attract the mosquitos.
And hoping things will calm down as temperatures start dropping.

I am not going to get drawn into this debate, beyond recommending some reading(,) and quoting one way of subverting the issue.
The book is Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation by Lynne Truss
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eats,_Shoots_%26_Leaves
The quote is from Proust: an interesting passage on what he called the ‘three adjective rule’:
It was the time when well-bred people observed the rule of affability and what was called the rule of the three adjectives. Mme. de Cambremer combined the two rules in one. A laudatory adjective was not enough for her, she followed it (after a little stroke of the pen) with a second, then (after another stroke), with a third. But, what was peculiar to herself was that, in defiance of the literary and social object at which she aimed, the sequence of the three epithets assumed in Mme. de Cambremer’s notes the aspect not of a progression but of a diminuendo. Mme. de Cambremer told me in this first letter that she had seen Saint-Loup and had appreciated more than ever his ‘unique — rare — real’ qualities, that he was coming to them again with one of his friends (the one who was in love with her daughter-in-law), and that if I cared to come, with or without them, to dine at Féterne she would be ‘delighted — happy — pleased.’ Perhaps it was because her desire to be friendly outran the fertility of her imagination and the riches of her vocabulary that the lady, while determined to utter three exclamations, was incapable of making the second and third anything more than feeble echoes of the first. Add but a fourth adjective, and, of her initial friendliness, there would be nothing left. Cities of the plain, II,II

You’re dead right Dan, and for the right reasons. The title is offputting because it really means ‘In Search of Lost Time’ in the sense of ‘outside time’: “As if our true nature were outside time, created to taste the eternal” (Proust in Jean Santeuil). You (we) don’t need this book, but maybe this book needs me? :) You don’t need this book because you know exactly what it is talking about without reading it. In fact, you are way beyond that. We all have our own way of getting there. It’s actually about shortcuts, so in a sense it caters for its non-readers : )
An exquisite pleasure had invaded my senses, but individual, detached, with no suggestion of its origin. And at once the vicissitudes of life had become indifferent to me, its disasters innocuous, its brevity illusory--this new sensation having had on me the effect which love has of filling me with a precious essence; or rather this essence was not in me, it was myself. I had ceased now to feel mediocre, accidental, mortal. Whence could it have come to me, this all-powerful joy? I was conscious that it was connected with the taste of tea and cake, but that it infinitely transcended those savours, could not, indeed, be of the same nature as theirs. Whence did it come? What did it signify? How could I seize upon and define it?

This place called facebook has some loving corners and that is a good thing...but ultimately 'facebook' is a BIG part of the ugly control/monetary/war machine...trying to get info from us daily and incessantly, keeping people pre-occupied with little games and high fives of nonsense...it is simply a very strong way of trickery to keep track of us.
Well...keep track of this, your day is done..there are enough little peasants that have woken up and DOING things daily now that we are going to 'trump' you. You better back off now because we are going to throw so much Truth and LOVE in your faces that you are going to breakdown like a caught thief trapped in a corner with nowhere to go. ENOUGH!!!
You and me, my friends, are relentlessly looked DOWN at as little peasants and puppets...and THEY enjoy that....but without us in their ugly game they have no where to go but literally off of this beautiful place, Mother Earth. Make them go away!
And for all you spiritual and religious gurus making tons of money off of YOUR People, on the internet and in daily life...your time is up too...either change and help right now or something is coming your way that will literally hurt so badly you will cower in your deceit.
Those of you playing games here, wake up, now! Those of you here being paid to be sneaky little spies and troublemakers and perverts...go away..you will be hurt deeply soon..in every way imaginable if YOU do not stop and change TODAY and start doing nothing but good things in front of you instead..
And for you actors and actresses and sicker manipulated musicians and medical gurus and politicians and bankers and mega-business people(ripping the hearts out of local people all over the world) that are deep in this the above goes for you too. Better change your ways, like today...or the hurt you are creating and doing is coming back upon you like a tsunami.
Us little peasants are now ACTIVELY changing this beautiful place everywhere with Our Hearts...even 'facebook'!

use it only where necessary to avoid ambiguity.
Ie, read your sentence and then try to make it read incorrectly. Is it possible to have the reader misinterpret? If so, use the comma, or don't use the comma - accordingly.
Falls under the "eats, shoots, and leaves" category of potential misunderstandings.

The body is designed to think solely of the 'now' but in the mundane sense of small-circle immediacy. Like that of the child. When you look at people with that in mind, you can easily see the 5 year old child in them, the child with no understanding beyond the given now. Look a bit deeper and you can see the very young child of pure emotion.
Then, at such a point, with those two idealizations in mind...look again, it is easy to see the sheen of intellect in the brain that rides in an almost separated state, being almost wholly affected, shifted, and colored by those two underlying layers.
Then, the most difficult part. Look inside, look in the mirror.... and see it in the self.
This sort of mental construction issue is why I'm not very fond of the people who want to treat their children, like children. Ones who want their children to be protected (bubbled in society, etc) and as children --for as long as possible. To give them time to grow up. What an incredibly ludicrous statement and act. It is difficult to be more detrimental to a child than that. Since the mind is in the act of being wired, these sort of behaviors (between children and adults) are just as effective as any given trauma when it comes to wiring the pathways of a given growing mind.
If they do not encourage intelligence and recognition of the constructional aspects of self in the small person, while the neural pathways are forming, they make the issue more extreme and permanent for the 'adult'.
IMO, the greater potential lies in treating the child (in some ways) as an adult, one with low levels of data and time under their belt. To not damage with traumatizing events, but to not create neural pathways that are nearly impossible to escape, pathways that create mentally internally separated children that never mature at the potential they had as children.
In essence...there is no such thing as a child (we use the word incorrectly, in meaning and interpretation), there is only a being, a consciousness... trying to integrate with a growing avatar. Some may feel this is very incorrect, and that I don't know children. If so, please go back to the start of the post..and read again, applying the data to the self......
When the dominoes fall (cascading through the logic of it), you can see that for all of human history, about +99% of children were/are raising children. We're not raising adults, as we have little to no real concept of what that means.
For example, most importantly, consider: If humans had, originally, +900 year lifespans..how would a 500 year old human..raise... a newborn?

Wonderful Ulli, and i read it only after quoting from the world's most famous tea drinker. Maximum potential difference is what makes for a great metaphor, and these kids were doing great guns until they themselves exploded in midair.
The problem was of course that Gary was not obeying instructions - he was working with the student on his LEFT :) B minus for the teacher's wording of the assignment.

"Remembrance of Things Past"
Ten times over I must essay the task, must lean down over the abyss. And each time the natural laziness which deters us from every difficult enterprise, every work of importance, has urged me to leave the thing alone, to drink my tea and to think merely of the worries of to-day and of my hopes for to-morrow, which let themselves be pondered over without effort or distress of mind.
...what is depended upon by manipulators,
and, if and but and now
as enough of us intently and earnestly and relentlessly re-craft the mold,
a new way becomes the way
The body is designed to think solely of the 'now' but in the mundane sense of small-circle immediacy.
For example, most importantly, consider: If humans had, originally, +900 year lifespans..how would a 500 yea old human..raise... a newborn?
The most important thing a society can do for it's future is educate the women.
Women are the first educators of the next generation. Kids spend the first couple of years of their lives in frustration due to their limited communication ability, so by the time they can finally form sentences they mostly begin with why, where, when, etc.
And their uneducated mothers often have no clue how to respond to this bombardment of questions as they themselves don't know the answers.
So they become abusive and want to keep their children at a permanent baby level, when such irritations did not exist.
Or they threaten them with lashes and beatings...and thus knock their natural curiosity and love for learning out of them, never allowing it to bloom.
Once when I was driving my son to school...he was five at the time, he asked me out of the blue:
"Mum, why is there nothing faster than the speed of light?"
And I had to say, son, let me think about that one...and I did, and came to the conclusion that thoughts might be faster, although it took a few more years. But I didn't ridicule him for asking that question...in fact, I might have old one it wi the "question everything!" motto, because he has taken that one to heart, and now he drives me nuts.
I can't even say what a nice day we are having without him responding with "are we really?"

The usual answer to this sort of question would be, 'Ask your Dad'. The trouble being Dad's not here, or that man you're living with is not my Dad... In other words, there is a sore lack of male presence in too many households, and this has been going on for a couple of generations now. I'm sure parents are generally doing a wonderful job bringing up other people's kids, but I can't help feeling something is being lost, possibly in terms almost of physical compatibility. I am thinking of the heart brain, the stomach brain, things like that, or maybe it has something to do with DNA. When you get an organ transplant, often some of the donor’s tastes or character traits (I don’t know about knowledge per se) will override yours, presumably because you have a whole sector that is basically alien. Contrast this with the idea of a mother language, the one you learn with your mother’s milk.

Ask your Dad? The trouble is not so much Dad's absence as mum's ignorance.
Maybe if she was less ignorant Dad might have stayed around a bit longer.
Men need someone who understands them, and who they can talk to just as much as kids do.
Of course, if she is too intelligent it might make her guy feel inferior, and that's not a good thing either.

For example, most importantly, consider: If humans had, originally, +900 year lifespans..how would a 500 year old human..raise... a newborn?
This is a really interesting thing to ponder. I remember reading (http://www.lawofone.info/results.php?c=Earth+History&su=Second+Cycle) that a long, long time ago when humans had long life spans like that, people under 200 years were still considered to be "youngsters" and they still had a lot to learn. I find that to be somewhat ironic when human lifespans are totally different now and not many people will make it past 100 years. During the span of one incarnation we can learn a lot, but only if we are willing to educate ourselves.
Of course now thanks to the internet we can learn a lot in short time, if our brains are able to handle that kind of mind-blowing information. Not all are, it seems. I love new information, but I too take some time to digest it. My brain seems to be working hard all the time analyzing all the minor details. However, what I have learned so far is the fact that it is essential to combine our heart-based wisdom with the intelligence of our minds. Logic itself will not take us very far, as we have seen already.

I have no comment to make on such a politically incorrect subject as female ignorance. :)
But it sounds, Ulli, as if you are contradicting Dr Johnson. When asked what was the difference between a man and a woman, he answered, ‘I cannot conceive’. Men, it would appear, are doing too much of the conceiving (conceptual) work.

I Love You People...like incessantly : )
My 6 year old Granddaughter, Charlotte, was giving a musical presentation yesterday in a group of violinists...She and Her Mom were in a group of about 12, Mother's playing behind their Daughters. They had been practicing at home steadily and I did not know why until I was told of the performance pre-empting a major professional adult performance at the local high school. My Daughter gave me the time a couple days ahead.
I was there to witness and enjoy their first presentation with my grandson in my lap while I was kneeling in the hallway. It was beautiful and I had an embedded smile on me that would not go away.
As more and more showed up for the main concert, especially the elderly....the violin group took a break.
I did not know a 2nd presentation was coming and glad I stuck around.
Charlotte's other Grandfather came around as well as her Aunts and Other loved ones...now about 8 or 9 of us.
I had no idea also that Charlotte was going to give a solo. it was beautiful and accompanied by a wonderful piano player.
Well, about 2/3's of the way through she had a bit of a mishap(many of her loved one's watching now) and had to stop playing...the piano player graciously came back slowly to where Charlotte left off and Charlotte{waving her violin wand above the strings) touched down and carried on at just the right moment and completed the solo...
I was about crying in public, hehe : ) Wow, a very Big Little Girl with courage and tenacity : )
Sooooo glad I am back on the Cape for this stuff : )

Women are impressionable, and respond to good education just as well as boys.
Unfortunately they also respond well to advertising tricks, which promise them irresistible attractiveness,
and it is that part where we come back to whose vision is society following.
Do we have a choice?
All the differences in gender roles other than the actual conception/ childbearing part are imposed by society...and by those who determine cultural direction.
With traditional societies which are dominated by male clergy
keeping women confined to the home, and open societies gone too far the other way, pretending to offer women freedom, yet coercing them to become like street walkers.
Women's ignorance is by design. Who benefits most?

As to the comment "Ask your father," I understand that it was meant in general terms.
My Mom never said that to me. I never said it to Michael nor would I if his father was in his life.
I was honest with Michael. If I didn't know, I'd tell him. I'd also ask what his thoughts were on it. We'd either look it up or in other instances, Michael knew I'd get back to him.
I preferred to ask my Mom because she was concise. We use to call my Dad's talks, Kennedy speeches. He'd go on, and on.

Yes 1, it was a general comment that I thought might often fit the situation Ulli was talking about. But I feel uncomfortable talking about ignorance amid so much evidence to the contrary here. Also, children know they are not consulting walking encyclopedias, and half the battle is in knowing how to respond to those very difficult questions – I don’t think many men would answer that one satisfactorily either. What is specifically male-oriented about it? It follows the received paradigm of men understanding things and women understanding people, and if you don’t know the answer you can always give an authoritative ‘Because that’s how it is’. But actually I think… I am out of my depth here :)

Ulli, what you say about women's leading roles in education resonates well with me.
In people from traditional societies that you talk about, dominated by men, you see that the children do less well in school as compared to the children from families were the mothers generally finished high school at least. You will find often that the men too are not schooled (enough) which ads to the problem.
School here is obligatory from 6 until the age of 18 (end of high school, there are a few options like part-time schooling from the age of 16 but that's more exception than rule).
When women are well-studied and well-versed - they after all spend the most time talking to the children - their kids have far better advantages.
But mind, it's not only men who keep the situation in place. You will find the women in those structures wondering about the use of higher studies when in the end they'll be at home with the children "anyway" (raising children and making time for them sure has become an inconvenience).
A reasoning that I find hard to support even if it were true. Studies should be for your own knowledge, in the first place, to stand stronger in the world and to understand the world and to be a best as you can be human, to your own advantage and to the advantage of others, among whom your own children. And also (last but not least) to earth's advantage.
If that's what study has become, namely "just" a way to a paid job, then that could explain very well for some things we are seeing in the world today.
Nora, that's a good suggestion to get people with the same intentions on track, but I don't know if I'd feel right to open the topic, too much attention, I guess...I wouldn't even have asked for suggestions because for me these are more like background activities. Were it not that I did this in the past and I wasn't happy about the foundation, lack of transparency, after which I had to leave the kid (heart-breaking) and look for alternatives but how to decide? It's difficult. And since on Avalon there are many good intentions, I figured I could try here. But, the idea is out, so who knows.

I'm so happy that you made that point about education, VIOLET,
especially the part about people thinking that they wasted their time with some of it.
A lot of the Algebra classes I sat through would seem to not have served my adult life either, since I never went on to study science, but it sure trained my mind and also taught me that I preferred Geometry.
And geometry is what the astrology work is all about, as I'm constantly measuring angles.
And in my efforts to find an explanation as to why astrology works at all
I got to realize the connection to what is called sacred geometry, the law As Above, So Below,
and that the fingers which create all higher realities are way intelligent than any of my math teachers.
And all that pondering while I'm basically a stay-at-home housewife.

Manet’s secret love was actually chiefly artistic: he simply recognized probably the best of the Impressionists, who happened to be a young lady. If you visit the Marmottan Museum in Paris, you have a whole basement filled with mostly huge canvases by Monet. Upstairs, you have a very small room with half a dozen Morisots, which shine out as among the very best the period produced.
Manet’s portrait Berthe Morisot with a Bunch of Violets is not of a young woman he admired, it is of the artist at work. She looks slightly cross-eyed from switching her gaze between her painting (down to her right) and her model, who is seemingly Manet, but through the timeless effect of art, now us.

Wake Up You Loving People !
NO Ownership..NO WARS!!!
The Native American Indians already had a very organized and large and advanced and working non-ownership government, the real 'of,by and for the people' one.
Copied and stolen with ugly controlling land ownership thrown in cleverly by some very 'not so nice' people that hiddenly took control of this place.
And the Native Peoples had a highly communicating and active 'postal' system that our very service is designed after.
About all the African Peoples were and are highly advanced Spiritual Teachers and Singers and Dancers and Lovers of REAL Life!
The Good Europeans tried to help and do the right thing..to no avail.
All of you 'learned' school teachers MUST dig deep down in your hearts and souls and grab some courage and fortitude and find the real history that has been hidden...
and start sharing and living the real music. To heck with what You are being 'told' to do...if enough of You do it, their game is up!
We have been taught nothng but lies in the system...a little bit of coercive things in there to keep it penetrating.
You do not want to hear this...but what is being taught as history keeps wars and such very alive.
About every lawyer on the planet is a thief...they are in this to keep it alive, the LIE !
FALSE Contract and Ownership is ther game, stop playing their game.
Where did they come from? Stop associating with the bad ones...most of them are just that.
All your so called legal matters can be handled by you, start handling them until this system dissolves.
The ways and means are readily accesible, access them and use them The simple and strong paperwork needed is out there everywhere, ask other people that are doing and have done it.
The lawyes are like little pawns that keep wars alive to.

Today, I say, the desire to expand curiosity and imagination is more important than the level of IQ.
A life long habit of study developed because the rule growing up was that we study for at least one hour, even when school was out for the summer. It could be on any topic. We never knew if or when our parents would ‘quiz’ us. The kids would also share and quiz each other. Being second oldest of eight, I’d also read to the little ones or take them to the public library. It was my home away from home. I loved the smell and the silence.
The family library was filled with the references books, alas, dictionary, the ’World Book’ encyclopedia, ‘Childcraft: The How and Why’ series that ranged from poetry, literature, mathematics, science and fairy tales. On the top shelf were volumes of philosophers and thinkers that didn't get much read time. One of my favorites were the used teacher’s edition math books with answers in the back for self-check.
I was fortunate to grow up in an era where we only watched an hour of TV, kids in the neighborhood got together to play unorganized sports. When towns funded playgrounds for arts and crafts, plays, sports, and field trips. A time where kids walked to the local ice ponds where the only concern was to be home before the street lights came on.
I loved fish'n'chip Fridays where the local fish fry had a long line out the door. A time when McD’s came into existence, and it’d be a once in a while treat. A time where families sat down together for meals.
No, it wasn't perfect. Far from it in my home. But in general, it was an era where kids could be kids. I want that for our children’s children.

I never understood the practical applications to algebra in my teenage year, but enjoyed it. I liken it to how others enjoy cross words puzzles.
In college, it took half a semester before I had the ah-ha flash of what is calculus. That flash stayed just long enough to net me a good grade. Either that or there were a lot worse off students in the class and the professor graded on the curve.

Had the best conversation with Em this morning. About two hours worth. Spiritual in nature. In these times, there is no doubt. No belief or disbelief. There is simply what is. What moves through me is not only information to be imparted, but Spirit. It is beyond description for me, when I watch as someone is brought to tears or has whole body chills because of what is moving through Me. It is learn/teaching, teach/learning at its finest. Especially if I listen. And I did.
She experienced HerSelf for a moment. She asked how she could reside in this Space always. Wow. What an important Moment for her, and for me. To have the Aha moment of her True Nature. At one point, she was going to say something but thought better of it because it was silly.
Actually, she said at the same time she thought it was silly, she did not know why she thought it was silly. So I asked, "who thinks it is silly? Who, in you, thinks it is silly? Is this you?"
And she replied, "no."
"So," I asked, "what/who thinks it is silly?"
She thought a moment and replied, "my mind."
Oh boy. I cannot tell you how weird it is to be leading someone else through this. At the same time I lead my Self.
This conversation went to places that blew me away. At one point, she was asking about the concept of God and wondering how we can be pieces of God but yet be One with the All. I told her it is like blueberry muffins, haha. That God is like the batter, and she and I are like blueberries. We are all the muffin (One), but at the same time we are blueberries (having individual experiences). Sometimes, I am amused at the things that come out of my own mouth.
I see that I have fumbled around with my words this morning, nothing new there. I suppose I will stop though. Maybe you can feel the energy I share, here and now. I hope so :)
Much Love,

...and it was 11:11(again:) when Purdy and I got back in the truck
Like wow in the now, happening each new day each new way...and it is being shown 'exactly' why I(we) need to "bump it up" and go with our promptings in the flick of an eye, now...without any hesitation.
Met a realtor Friend of my Good Friend I do work for early this morn, explained a bit of what he needs and gave me the address of the sizable home I will be helping to renovate to rent and/or possilbly sell.
Was 'prompted' to take a look right away...do not start until next week and not really necessary to check it out right away...I had other things to do if I wanted this morn.
As I and Purdy were about to head to the truck after looking it over a bit, inside and out, a vehicle pulls up in the back driveway.
A young guy gets out with the look and build of a fullback.. the Realtor's younger brother Steve, that may help me a bit. Seems Steve had just had a recent encounter trying to help a Friend in a skirmish and got stabbed 11 times...his right leg was still badly swollen, it was much worse, he said.
Steve connected with a Holistic Therapist nearby that has Healing Friends in Colorado that grow and make and use and pass on...yep, Healing Cannabis and Hemp Oil : )
He has been ingesting it for a few weeks and feeling his recovery in upgrade. He also knows how to make his own now too.
The wounds look amazingly ahead of what they should after such a short time.
Will keep You All updated : )

In the comments in the 'building 7' post on my page, too important..postng it alone here:
Been on this quietly since the happening, Charles...no new news. Know too many people that know and have done selfless work to expose this speaking directly with People that were there, regular People, Firefighters and on and on..all of them shut up or ignored.
I had a personal Friend(passed on) that had done fire alarm upgrade work on the towers just a month or so before the tragedy.. The entire burglar security alarm system was shut down while they did their nite work and they were suppose to have the building to themselves with some security workers. They consistently ran into areas where construction type sounds were heard and some fire alarm workers would head in that direction or ask security about it...the response was "you can't go in there" "not any concern" ...time and time again this occurred...I could not make this stuff up, Charles. My Friend was ex-military and could not accept that things were being planted and tampered with pre-tower-destruction...He completely changed His mind and heart a month after...looking deeply at all the information.
I was in the 'natural' memorial in New York at a beautiful recreation campground outside the city in 2007 where pine trees were planted for the victims. I touched them with my heart. I was brought there by coincidence.
The Lummi Indian Carvers have a Sacred Totem Pole there for the Victims...the "pentagon" wanted to put the Totem in front of their building...the Indians would not do so for the forest at the campground is the 'sister energy' forest of their own sacred forest in Washington state.
I met the Carvers personally...THEY KNEW...My Heart Is Deeply In This, Charles. We have to make it go away and bring it out all the way, right now!
This truly is Pandora's Box...we have to acknowledge it once and for all and stop abiding by anything they put in front of us that comes out of it...the life we live by in society...bear down and grab the truth and free this place.
There are countless good People doing selfless work on this still today...but they need our help "en-masse" to finally stop this worldly war machine madness that comes out of our own homeland, right in our faces. this place is our hearts...they are ripping the very life from life by doing this. It has been going on forever but we can put it to an everlasting halt now. Please Help!

Hello dear Villagers,
My Granny has decided that cancer is a scam and she is no longer dying of it. For the first time since May she was strong enough to make it to our house for a visit. It was unplanned and impromptu and engineered by my mom who has spent the past month and a half with her at night because she is afraid to sleep on her own. Three weeks ago my aunt hurt her back and my grandma was unable to be cared for at home and went to a nursing home. We all cried with her for the first two weeks she was there because it was something we said we would never do and we felt such guilt. The best thing about this change is that the hospice/home care had her drugged out of her gourd and she was able to dry out in the nursing home. Her withdrawl form more than 15 medications at once was terrible and we nearly had to sit on her to keep her from climbing the walls but now that is in the past. She has decided that since she has no female reproductive parts and hasn't had them for 50 years there is no way she has the female cancer that the doctors say is going to be the death of her. She is right. The transformation is truly amazing and at 91 she plans to live to be 100. She looks like a new person and she has a feistiness and confidence that very well may carry her to that age now that she has made up her mind not to die any time soon. We as observers are amazed and grateful as we want her here for as long as can be and she is a blessing in our lives. As if the prodigal Son had returned a tiny turkey breast was pulled out of the freezer and we had a mini thanksgiving dinner to thank the universe for her newfound spark of life. The strangest thing happened when all the dishes were washed and my family was in bed and I went outside to thank the universe for the wonderful turn of event. As I was humbly giving my thanks the wind whipped up and blew my hair and my nightgown. It was almost as if the mother earth was communicating to me, letting me know that she is a very special and powerful woman and her time has not come yet. I fell much communion with mother earth and I somehow felt she was agreeing with me with her wind and saying to stop going through the motions and pay attention. I feel my granny has a few more lessons to teach me. As she would say, "This God's good Earth" has so much more for me to observe. For some the dying process is swift and forgiving. For her it has been suffering and triumphs but we welcome the triumphs over all else and we are glad she is back with us. No matter how short-lived that time may be we are grateful! Such a woman!!! I am humbled to come form the same stock!
Much Love and sorry for my absence,
Julia

Hi Julia, this is indeed the best news, and goes to show yet again how spirit rules. So happy for all of you, and also your Gran. I have to be honest, as sometimes the thought of all the suffering that old age brings is not something I look forward to. Yet the truth is that each one of life's epochs has some gift which is a mystery to us younger ones.

It is time right now for each of Us to go to work consciously and actively and :"Help God"(as You personally understand Your Own purest and active Love)
Many of You have done and are doing this...it is time to open the gate, worldwide, because we are "more than" fully capable but have been 'preoccupied' with societal nonsense that drains the real energy of what we really are, purposely and intently..
Yes, paying bills and "everything" that goes with that and in that..The bills we pay do nothing but keep ALL of the wrong things going and going and going and have been for a long time. Change it, one by one, together. Ownership is a crock. Stop "owning" things. In the littlest biggest ways You can muster in Your Own Lives. We do not own anything anyways. Even if You just "think" about it is a nothing..."think about it as a nothing as much as You are capable or able most all the time."
Ownership does not mean a whole lot to about all of You already. Than why are we doing it? We are bigger and better than IT. Dissolve IT.
In Full Conscious Awareness that it helps propagate all the false propagations. If each of Us stop feeding it in just little ways it will change rapidly in big ways.
Chasing Windmills?
Nope!
Time for Us to "Co-Create A BIG Miracle...and "live" the dissolution of ALL the stuff that really does not matter that we have been taught by "society" matters...turn it to non-matter. If ownership really does not matter to most of us anyway than why bother...
Love You !
.......
Step 4(Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves) of the '12 steps of recovery' reinvented for the Active Here and Now : )
...
The 4th step of ALL of Our Lives, Now!!! (gotta do this, not a preach march, been there done this so I CAN share and suggest...it is too important right now)
I have faced the truth of my(our) situation and turned this situation over to the God(as You understand) who can help me.(Co-Creation). Now is the time to start seeing things as they truly are rather than through the glass of my societal altered mind and heart. The first step in this process of "getting real" is to take an honest inventory of the hidden manipulations of my life. Exactly where have I been, what have I done and how far did I go in my deceitfully taught submissive behaviors and not really looking at what is going on and how I can change it all for my children and grandchildren, quietly or otherwise, but strongly and intently and relentlessly through a healthier free will? When and where did they start and where have they led me? This is a vital step away from my 'hiddenly controlled' life filled with societal coerced insane behaviors towards a conscious life filled with more personal power and serenity to help co-create and change the world right now to a higher and "NON-INVASIVE" place.

There was a young man on Red Ice radio, a year or so ago, who was interviewed about his work on gematria. His focus were the streets of London City and how it tied into political events. He died shortly after.
Purple, do you think the star in the red flag ties in?
Star in the red flag?
The Moroccan flag above your avatar :)
Oh, haha. Yes, absolutely. The pentagram is a very holy symbol, much used in occulted architecture.
But then when it is incorporated in the architecture of a national flag, when countries do that, does it have purpose or a meaning that we can understand?

I was browsing the work of artist Emily Balivet when I decided to listen to the link above. He (Marty Leeds) was mentioning how various cultures use the same star as the one known as the Seal of Solomon, and this picture popped up in front of me. A beautiful piece. I thought to share...

Perhaps you were thinking of Rik Clay (RIP.) He did a Red Ice interview in 2008 where he covered numerology, date significance and street names connected to the 2012 Olympics.
Just wondered
Yes, Melinda, he talked about the Olympics. Was that 2008 already? Boy, time sure flies, for six years to feel like one.

I feel sorry for actors and other public artists at occasions like these. Somehow they're never taken seriously.

The pentagram encodes the perfection o f nature, the constant Phi, and the ideal human. There are volumes of meaning further contained within the symbol, with progressive use with various intent, the archetype may change over a given time period.

Last night, I hit an animal with my car. I wasn't going very fast (40mph.) There was nothing - and then, there was something short right in front of my car bumper. I only had 1/2 second to look at it, maybe even less, and it seems odd that I can't say for sure what it was. I suspect it was a porcupine. It thumped under the car, as its body hit the underside of my car (I didn't hit it with my wheels.) It didn't make any yelp or cry of pain. I don't think it could have been a cat or dog, because they would have looked at the car lights, and I would have seen their eyes. Whatever I hit had its head down and was looking straight ahead (again, making me think it was a porcupine.)
I felt terrible. Kind of a punch in the gut. Just felt awful that I did not see it in time to avoid hitting it.
I looped back around to see if I could see a dead or dying animal on the road, but saw nothing. It was night, and my headlights didn't illuminate wide enough to see if something was off the road or in the ditch.
This morning, I went back, parked my car at a hiking trail parking area, and walked to the spot where it happened.
Why? Why did I go? Why did I need "closure"? Why was this bothering me so much?
There were no marks in the street, no blood. There was no dead animal off on the side of the road (I walked about 1/4 mile looking and saw nothing.
Maybe it just rolled under my car, between the floorboard and the road, and didn't get injured (or didn't get fatally injured), and scurried off into the night.
I was relieved not to have found it.
Today, I though about it being a "totem/spirit/messenger" animal, trying to deliver a message to me and then..thud! rumble, rumble, rumble, and it left, dazed and confused about why humans are such assholes in giant metal boxes, and never delivered the message. Or, maybe I got the message.

I always look for "messages" too when weird, inexplicable things happen that are in the realm of the Twilight Zone. Who do you talk to when stuff like this happens? We know or learned from experience that there are precious few out there whom we feel comfortable with talking to when weird things happen but I'm so glad a forum like this one is here to talk about such experiences regardless that it's really a toss up if some in this forum will believe you. Just being able to talk about such things is very, very cathartic.

Dennis, if it made you feel terrible, or confused, or any other negative emotion
you might just want to see it as a test for you to develop a sense of priorities.
Surely your optimal functioning as a happy human being should not be at stake here.
What use isn't to the universe to have another person join the ranks of the fretting.
On the one hand you have these huge ideals and ideas about system change in DC,
and on the other hand you worry about a little critter having had a knock to the head.
Could it be that you are at some crossroads and really need to find some clearer vision what you came here to do?
What if a bunch of such critters were to invade your house?
Would you drop everything to place them gently back outside so that they wouldn't feel traumatized?
That little critter was probably symbolic of you, since you yourself have just been hit by one of life's knocks.
And you felt sorry for it.
But maybe things aren't too bad, as there was no evidence of blood, nor animal. Obviously it picked itself up and carried on, and now that's what you will be doing too.
Don't lose your sense of adventure, and know that soon life will bring new joy.

Love You Villagers, Deeply, Deeply, Deeply from within My Heart!!!
...........
And I am sharing these very personal happenings again for some powerful good reasons right here on facebook right now concerning my son and grandson Danny's powerful Spirits and the deep, deep meaning it has for me as to the Native American and Celtic and French "real less known" loving Spiritual traditions and the loving personal healing rhythms of the 12 steps.
This IS why I have been prompted and am doing what I have been doing currently here.
My son Danny came to me a year before passing on and asked for my help to be firmly pointed in the direction of his own personal sobriety and is why my prior post is here...because it needs to be and I was strongly prompted.
The Mother of my grandson Danny was a month with child when my son Danny passed on and none of Us knew. She is the most beautiful Mother on this Good Earth.
My grandson Danny had his Father's last name on his hockey shirt when I first saw him play when I was back on the Cape a few years ago, He has his Mom's last name...Danny did this of his very own Love and fruition to honor his Father and I went quietly alone in tears after that happening.
I put a Medicine Wheel in my Daughter's yard as a Spirit 'thank you' when I first was back on the Cape. My grandson Danny came by to visit and I explained a bit of the Native American tradition of placing corn meal and tobacco as an honoring of All Life and Ancestry and Spirit and asked if He would like to join me at the Medicine Wheel, He said yes and We went together..
We placed some tobacco at the Heart of the Medicine Wheel and there was this beautiful purple hazed Stone resting by itself in the Wheel, Danny asked me, "Whats that?" and I told Him it is Your Dad's Spirit Being anywhere and everywhere and here with Us right now too. We placed an offering together upon it.
I went off Cape to visit Family and Friends for a couple weeks, When I returned to my Daughter's Loving Home and went to the Medicine Wheel to leave an Offering the Purple Stone was not there. I asked my Daughter if She had seen it and She told me that when I was away Danny came by and came in the house with the Stone of His Dad's Spirit and asked if He could keep it, my Daughter of course said of course : ) Danny took His Dad home with Him.

Police, Help !
Prompted to stop in the local(large) police station and main desk this morn. There were heating and air People doing major repair work with the ceiling wide open listening to everything I was delivering to Denny, the officer at the front desk. The construction Men had to be there, I feel, to listen and help the energy of my talk and allow it get out fully without other officer interruption.
I spoke with Denny, the officer, about the trade towers and building 7 in quiet quick detail and told him there is something bigger and uglier planned...coming our way, but WE CAN stop it by talking of these things in the open, and we must...this WILL stop them !
I also spoke to Him about the Wampanoag and their hearts being in this place and the younger police officers with children that have to step up and do something now before it is too late. The younger ones especially that have not been fully damaged by the system and "know" something is very wrong...I cannot believe that Denny was actually giving a gentle nod in response.
I said the officers have to stop listening to their unseen managers and DO something now. We have to have little community get-togethers and bring these things out and bring back the Spiritual World that was denied the Wampanoag and talk with the young People in the community and They talk to Us..
He said, "We don't do that here" and I said... Why not,,,why not...why not, about in tears. We have to do this now for your families and our families right now. We have to!
I will be adding more to this post through editing..but had to get this out in the open here right away.
I turned on the news on the radio...and what are they talking about..some possible subway dilemma planned for New York...
People, this is just the beginning if we do not DO SOMETHING right now...TALK ABOUT IT..IT WILL STOP IT...and I have to scream out loud for ALL the World to hear now!!!
I made a Big Medicine Wheel Spiritual Energy ride all around this area in my truck with My Son Danny's Spirit and Wampanoag Spirit and Purdy to help this Higher Spirit Energy to begin to flow strongly now.
Please put Your Spirit in this and HELP me and US..ALL of US..please, please, please wake Yourselves up and do something, please!
I LOVE YOU ALL !
.......
Will be setting up a wide spreading local 'free speech' cable program to get the word out now(gently but strongly) about all of this I have been posting about and will have other People's synopsis stories and Their pertinent sharing of this also...in the works and will get done now ..please send Your Spirit Good Will, Thank You.
..
Went to the local large high school(my son and I graduated and Granddaughter now goes to) to set up meetings with some teachers and will try my hardest and gentlest with the Principal and Wampanoag to do this right now...meeting to be arranged.
...
Will go to the local Wampanoag gathering tomorrow to connect with more Folks that will help...and They will help...somehow I just know this and all of this will happen right now...Please Wish Me and Us the Best in This!!!
Once again, I Love You !

Just now I am studying Remo Roth’s Return of the World Soul, seeking to complete the work of Wolfgang Pauli and CG Jung to produce a unified theory combining physics and depth psychology. The decay of a single radioactive atom used in Schrodinger’s cat experiment suggests that it can be seen in Pauli’s terms of the transformation of potential being into actual being, and has more in common with depth psychology than with empirical science. Let me explain briefly with a few quotes.
Apart from the collapse of the wave function in the act of observation well-known to physicists there is another kind of quantum leap (…) happening during the (acausal) decay of a radioactive atom. The difference between the two events is that the former happens as the consequence of an act of will – the physicist decides when and where he takes measurements – the latter is however completely independent of the will of the physicist. This means that this acausal decay is a natural phenomenon, which we cannot influence. The radioactive decay, in the light of Pauli’s epistemological prerequisite, becomes a creation and incarnation act. (…) Thus the singular decay is in principle not observable in a physical experiment fixed in space time and by will.
(…) (in physics) we determine the time of the observation by will. In depth psychology this is impossible, since we cannot plan the ‘experiment’ by will; the contents of the unconscious appear spontaneously, i.e. acausally. Therefore, a depth psychological observation resembles much more the observation of a singular decay of a radioactive atom than the collapse of the wave function in the moment of the will-based act of observation.
Given that the moment of decay is not observable, then the moment of death is not observable either. Which is why there is more than the ‘dead or alive’ alternative: the dead cat may be for example still warm or stone cold depending on the time gap between death and observation. So not only does observation decide what happens, it decides what has already happened. In other words the effect is acausal, probably synchronistic. Which means that there is another layer to this story, let’s call it ‘Schrodinger's synchronicity’ – namely that if the observer were analyzed prior to opening the box, it should be possible to say precisely whether the cat will be dead or alive. And as Carmody suggests, getting the observer into the proper state of mind would ensure the cat’s survival. :)

I have a feeling it’s time for me to get back to basics, and the rest will sort itself out. So many synchs over the last couple of weeks point me in that directions. Richard Bach is one example of a pattern repeating itself.
Another synch with your Schrodinger's cat post. Last evening I reviewed the Heisenberg principle in Dr. David Hawkin’s, “Transcending the Levels of Consciousness”. In the last couple of weeks, I’ve replaced all his books because the other ones had my on-going conversations with him all over the pages. I began reading them in the late 1990’s and purchased his VHS tapes/DVD’s.
Along with Nisargadatta Maharaj, and Sri Raman Maharshi, Hawkins’ materials were the main reasons why I left the clock world in 2004.
Every day, I’m grateful for the opportunity to discover and experience. And there's no question that you All, are with me in dreamtime, and awake time.
Like many of you, it's confirmed through bits of conversations here and with flashes of folks who then return from their hiatus. Small examples, but confirmation that things in this world are not like what they use to be even six months ago.

Thanks, Marianne. Bill’s also added them to Swan’s thread, "Richard Bach, on his recent NDE (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?75346-Richard-Bach-on-his-recent-NDE&p=881683&viewfull=1#post881683)'.

Project into a new future..... ie make it happen..or....
...a reality, a past that is reflected into the always moving now.
Scientific determinism is dead. The universe says 'not gonna happen'.
"Only after the cat was found to be dead or alive were we able to tell if what we did was to look for a particle or for a wave," says Associate Professor Terno. "Then these three innocent-looking ideas result in predictions that would contradict an experiment. The universe simply does not work like that: you can see things to be real, or certain, but not both."
Read more at: http://phys.org/news/2014-09-schrodinger-cat-choosethings-real.html#jCp
Science illustrates that the past merely informs, it does not dictate.
This means it has been scientifically sorted out that the universe says: remembering any pain, confusion, or fear of/in the past, is not the future, unless one allows to to be though ignorance of what is and what may be.
I have a feeling it’s time for me to get back to basics, and the rest will sort itself out. So many synchs over the last couple of weeks point me in that directions. Richard Bach is one example of a pattern repeating itself.

Good Early Morning!
Thank You All for Everything, Every little/BIG thing You do : )
Did I share this?
...putting it here before there for extra Love, Love, Love with and from and to Ya'All : )
...
And another wonderful little big Native American story of which are being gathered every new day now.
The beautiful young woman and mother that was at the tribal center I visited a day ago...shared with me an incident while we were talking of good things to come if enough people do the simple things together, Native American/American, right now.
She was walking the waterfront at a public area with Her two Young Children a while ago They wandered a bit up the shoreline and Her Children were picking up and looking at seashells.
This woman comes up to them from a rather large home a bit away from the beach and shouts, "You cannot be here...leave the shells alone, those are our sea shells, we own them and this waterfront!" Mom replies, "Me and My Children are just passing through and will not take anything if that concerns you"
The woman says, "If you do not leave now I will call the police" Mom replies politely, " If you talk like that again in front of my Children I will have to take a step, for We are Members of the Local Tribe and have Native Rights to these waterfronts!" The "owner" huffed and puffed a bit and just continued to watch while Mom and the Kids moved on slowly and quietly up the beachline. Good for You, Mom, wish I had been there! : )
Half(and I'm being nice) of these people in their mini-mega waterfront estates in that community that use their homes but for a small part of any year are the direct and indirect generators and sustainers of all of our worldwide wars in one form or another...I promise you this, and they are finally being fully found out and exposed..and We(the regular people) are finally helping this madness come to a new way, a "non-war" way. It is time to simply 'bump it up' a bit and do more right in front of Us.
The Tribal Mom had worked for a company for a couple years that maintained many of these homes and I let Her know that I felt Her Spirit had to touch the Earth of these properties again now....for Her Heart and Doings are helping it ALL get right, right now!
I Love You and Have A Good Day!

When concentrations of certain gases take over, it gets hard to breathe. We breathe O2 and exhale CO2. By which reaction is the O2 in the air affected such that we feel that we can no longer breathe. I figure since oxygen can't evaporate it must bond. No, this is not homework, just wondering.

At 5 AM I woke up, hearing our neighbour's dog barking non-stop. Worried that he might have cornered one of our cats I went out there to check. It was not a cat at all, but a huge, white duck.
So now we have a duck, protected from my cats by a cage made out of two laundry baskets. The cat carriers were too small for him. We gave him a bowl of uncooked brown rice, which he ate in less than a minute. Starving duck, obviously. Who knows where he came from? Husband has already made several calls in the neighborhood inquiring who around here keeps ducks. No result so far.
Paula, what does your animal book say about ducks? This one is domesticated. Maybe he didn't fancy the idea of becoming someone's Christmas dinner.

Paula, what does your animal book say about ducks?
Thank God for the Ullis of the world. Sniff.
If DUCK shows up, it means:
Time of fertility, either literally or metaphorically..
The time of turmoil has passed, so release any pent-up or suppressed emotions.
Find emotional comfort rather than to deny needs.
Call on DUCK when:
Beginning of a new cycle with either work or a relationship.
You need help moving through emotional entanglements.
Life has become monotonous.
You realized that you’re taking yourself too seriously.
If DUCK is your POWER ANIMAL:
Homebody and strong nesting instinct.
You’re generous and big hearted, gives to anybody.
You enjoy the company of like mind and spirit.
You’re resilient, able to bounce back very easily.

Oh, Running Deer, I'm right there with you. This is one of the many books I have felt compelled to "review" lately. (Is there a Spiritual FINAL EXAM coming up?!?)
I've been practicing this and "collapsing the wave" consciousness processes, and all sorts of combinations of manifestation techniques.
FINALLY, I went through my TRIBULATION, as many of us are, but now I'm back home and I'm back on track. It feels like a new phase for all of us. Anyone get that impression?
I'm delving in deep for Divine Direction. It provided a miracle for me last week...
It's too hard to explain here, but it had to do with my injuries in Colorado when I was filming a traffic stop. I'm free and it's over.
I'm doing phone readings now. I just updated my website with my new contact information.http://www.smile4love.com

You just passed it. Colorado and traffic cops are no longer in the same sentence. Yeah, big sigh of relief! Congratulations, Michelle Marie! Nice to get on with the journey. Godspeed. (the good kind)
Dr. David Hawkins rocks. Lots of material even in one book. Some of it I’m not in agreement with. The biggest one is that he states women can’t obtain as high a frequency as men because they are built differently. Their bodies can’t take the extra high octane.
Well, that's all the fuel I need to prove otherwise. I didn’t believe him back in the 1990’s, and I still don’t. For one thing, all human’s bodies are changing. And second, any one that is devoted to upliftment, incorporates spiritual principles in the day to day rather than time out on a zafu, practices the art of forgiveness, acceptance etc, then knowingness arises as well as frequency which in turn…yada-yada-yada.
Post when you can. And much success with http://www.smile4love.com

I was too busy today to think of an original name, so I was calling him Lucky, and Lucky Ducky.
Then my husband said his name was to be Aflac, after the insurance company which used a duck as its advertising mascot.
I guess it will have to get used to a whole set of different names.
Getting dark here now, and Lucky walked into the cave part of our garden, which is very sheltered.
He may need a pond soon. The river is a bit too far away, and also too rough right now.
The force of the water is even knocking the big rocks around, so no duck would like that.
Concerned about the enormous poops Lucky is dong every 30 minutes-...squirty poops.
Covering them up with cat litter for now.
Will keep you all posted. He has become a hit on my FB page.

I wonder if the uncooked rice might be too harsh for his system? Unless, Lucky-Aflac is like a goat and can eat anything.
It's been awhile but I recall having to step gingerly on the grass when feeding the ducks; a canvas of monochromatic acrylic splotches.
We had six ducks. Funny how poop didn't bother me back then. Then one day they all walked out the driveway in a line for the last time. My Mom said that's what ducks do. We were city-slickers that moved to the country. To this day, I think they flew the coop because I tried to train them to walk down a plank and jump into the baby pool.

Good Evening All..Had to share, was perusing some Native American info because of awesome happenings today with the Wampanoag : )
Bumped into this and really had never found this specific history quip of the Medicine Wheel and gives me a better personal understanding of why it is so deeply in my heart and I leave one as a 'thank you' wherever I go.
The most ancient of all ancient religious symbols is the circle. It dates all the way back to the Lemurian/early Atlantic age. The circle is the original religious symbol. It represents original religion: the unalterable, universal truths and laws as brought into being by the Ultimate Creator. The fire is the heart and center of the circle. It represents the "dance of life," the life force, spirit or soul within the living form. It is the transmuter of energy, that into which are placed prayers and offerings, It is the beacon that draws in the spiritual elements. Look around you and see that the circle can be found within the spiritual teachings and cultural traditions of the world’s tribal peoples. The concepts of cyclic time, reincarnation, that all things are interconnected, the earth as a living thing, that all life is sacred and the non-ownership of land, rather than being backward and primitive, are in fact highly advanced conceptions. Since that long ago age, these truths have been embedded within tribal spiritual and cultural heritage. Mankind has now drifted far from his understanding of the One Law, instead embracing technology, greed and power as did the Atlanteans of the later age of the Empire. Presently, the mainstream societies and religions label those who still incorporate some basic One Law knowledge and practice in their belief systems, as being pagans and ignorant, primitive heathens while in truth they have preserved the more advanced concepts.

Unfortunately it is illegal here in Costa Rica.
The first thing to do is to get the law to separate hemp from marihuana.
But that would take a while. Strong opposition.

A couple of quotes:
“Scientists have discovered astounding new evidence that suggests hemp proteins have the capacity to repair damaged DNA -- a phenomenon that occurs in all humans as the result of aging. “
“Research shows that consuming hemp seed and hemp seed oil is an ideal method for fixing DNA. This is because hemp contains “the perfect 3:1 ratio” of Omega fatty acids, which are instrumental in the damage done to DNA.”

I got a nice "injection" of nature today. Took my daughter to a nearby creek and did some nature photography with her. A couple of pictures are posted here (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?52010-Beautiful-Nature-pics&p=882593&viewfull=1#post882593).

Thank you for putting me in touch with the 'Beautiful Nature pics' thread, I hadn't seen it before.
Amazing photographs and talented photographers.
Thank you 1_1 11 1, for the 11,111 posts!

Enjoying my morning coffee...and pondering about the island I visited last night. I was shown a map (you can find it in my album: What's the meaning of (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/album.php?albumid=809)).
I spoke to a lady with Indian appearance and encountered a tribe of black men. Peculiarly, they were men only and they had lots of children. They went about undressed. I wondered how these people sustained themselves without women?

...and I know there are some new Folks around here at the Village, Love You : )
Bringing this from there to here if Ya ever wanna take a look...
Have a Great Day All !
.......
And much like the beautiful music we personally can co-create to help us dance on the 'higher road' the Native Americans lovingly speak of by
taking a very deep look at the societal mayhem embedded in us that keeps us kind of stuck in the muck by following the false ways and means of ownership and such.
This beautiful piece from The Emerald Light Force Transmission readings can help us purge those personal things that rather unknowingly keep us stuck in the mire of a different kind that won't be talked about in the offices of any psychiatrist trying to help you with alot of the nonsense they have been taught to deliver.
This one 'cuts to the chase' of the deep hidden stuff that keeps us deceitfully out of step with that same beautiful 'higher road' music...it will help our dance become like our own flowing and loving artwork...for it will help us work away another thick layer from our psyche ...another piece of the wonderful 4th step of the 12 steps spoken of here that helps us truly become what we can fully be on Mother Earth removing a phenomenal hindrance.
Your mileage may vary and You can "create" Your Very Own for YOU, if You like, it works ...Love You! :
...
If those of you reading this book care to take a proactive approach for yourself in relationship to these concepts, we suggest that
the first step is to disengage any and all connections to the “re-binding” systems we have discussed in this part.
In many re-lie-gions, past and somewhat present, we have taken oaths and vows that have bound us to the laws of the false gods, to their rules, regulations, external authority and their limitations. From these must we first unleash ourselves from such binding constraints.
To do so, simply center oneself in a meditative state, go inward and call upon your true and only Solar Christed Self, or however you wish to name or denominate such, the only requirement being a full and absolute recognition that you need no outside approval or authority to allow this to take place, that you alone are the controlling element and "any preconceived concepts, names or judgments" about what your full Divine Self really is must be discarded completely.
Then upon that foundation "declare" your intention to be free and sovereign in this and all other realities and universes.
Then "declare" that you are forthwith rescinding any and all vows such as vows of poverty, chastity, bodhisattva vows, oaths of allegiance, fealty, subservience, and so forth.
Feel and embody this declaration and allow it to truly permeate your entire being, with passion and commitment to your True Self.
Really feel it as the shackles and bonds of illusion fall away from you.
Declare to yourself, inside and out loud,
“I hereby rescind any and all oaths and vows, throughout all time and space, that I or any other incarnation of my whole larger Self has taken, in this reality and universe or in any other parallel, alternate or separate reality or universe.”
Observe your reactions and emotional content of what comes back to your perceptions, and gain the understanding that that provides. Declare yourself to be a sovereign being, one that retains full rights and responsibilities, full power and authority over yourself and your reality, including and founded upon the principles of self-governance, self-responsibility, self-generating capacities, self-sustaining life force and self-correcting processes as you return back to wholeness and balance.
A true sovereign being embodies and lives upon these principles, and honors the life force and equivalent foundational principles in all other beings, not projecting their power and authority outside of themselves and taking full responsibility for all their acts and deeds, thoughts and manifestations.
Upon that foundation we become free and sovereign beings and can no longer be controlled by outside forces, and upon that foundation first our individual reality will begin to rearrange itself to accommodate this new found freedom, and then the larger whole will in turn begin to entrain itself around the center point of such higher organizing principles as we come more fully into ourselves.
Know Thyself and to Thine Own Self BE True

Cannabis Oil I will make sure I call it instead of "pure" hemp oil from now on, so as not to confuse...
From the "flower" not the seed
Hi Dennis...have been speaking strongly of exactly that about hemp oil..and I do apologize Folks..this too is too important and is a current loving strong passion being intensified by personal encounters daily now, it has become a spiritual driving force! You can get the good pure stuff from alot of Holistic therapists and healers, they will get You some from the west coast usually, Oregon, Colorado and such. You CAN find it:
..........
Make sure to get the good 'pure' and holy stuff...
make it even holier with your own heart!
This stuff was buried so deep even the Native Americans had lost it but it's now being found again and used everywhere!
It cannot hurt anything or anyone, it only heals...
a rice grain size amount a day is all to give you all.
Time for this ONE to be out in the wide open...because it already is and will not be stopped...too many too spiritual too good too relentless loving people have had enough and it is ^^^taking off^^^ because it is now running on selfless love all over this loving place every place.
I am getting it confirmed in real life in every ever-loving new moment with each new person I talk to that I am prompted...many of them are smiling and returning to me with their very own story of the very now using or about to use this beautiful holy oil and helping others know it and get it...and our sharing together with our hearts right here on good ol' facebook is helping the plant blossom sky high,
I promise you : )
Hemp Oil, Hemp Oil, Hemp Oil is all I am getting now...
it is going to help People heal and strengthen quickly and step firmly away from all of the nonsense if they so choose...because it will be a smoother transition sliding on this gently robust resin.
All of the less clean things $$$they$$$ have been shoving at our eyes and ears and in our noses and mouths for years and years is all about to be trumped...like a great big trumpet trump.
It is going to be quietly accepted and used by Many.
People without physical ailments are going to start ingesting it en masse and it is going to help fix Us. We'll be talking to each other soon without using our lips in the most beautiful and loving connection ways : )
People with the slightest green thumbs are going to find a way to
Grow Their Own Hemp and make the Holy Oil now...
it is going to spread and flourish,
an unstoppable fast growing beautiful plant.
It is going to turn us all back into the purest highest reaching spiritual lightning rods this place has ever seen....
and we're all gonna bump up our 'real' selfless jobs here...
and be instantly rewarded like you have never ever seen or 'felt' with whatever it is we need on our very own current pathway : )

He seems to be used to it.

New York artist creates 'art' that is invisible and collectors are paying millions
27-year-old artist Lana Newstrom says she is the first artist in the world to create invisible "art." In this documentary we traveled to her empty studio to learn more about Lana and her unusual artistic process.
"Just because you can't see anything, doesn't mean I didn't put hours of work into creating a particular piece"
Lana Newstrom, Artist
"Art is about imagination and that is what my work demands of the people interacting with it. You have to imagine a painting or sculpture is in front of you," says Newstrom.
Paul Rooney, Lana's agent, believes she might be the greatest artist alive working today: "When she describes what you can't see, you begin to realize why one of her invisible works can fetch upwards of a million dollars." said Rooney.

And then you get an artist says he doesn't want to paint at all
He takes an empty canvas and sticks it on the wall
The birds of a feather all the phonies and all of the fakes
While the dealers they get together
And they decide who gets the breaks
And who's going to be in the gallery
No lies he wouldn't compromise
No junk no bits of string
And all the lies we subsidise
That just don't mean a thing
I've got to say he passed away in obscurity
And now all the vultures are coming down from the tree
So he's going to be in the gallery

Aww, poor thing -- a duck that didn't know he could swim and felt all alone. That's sad! But, thanks to outside forces that propelled him forward, he discovered he had super powers and could float on water! Not only that, but now with the mirror, he realizes that he's got the whole universe looking back at him -- he's never been alone!
An analogy for the rest of us perhaps?

Here and now, just listened to this short interview with one of my favorites, Alby Mangels, about living in the Here and Now. This is from 2013.

P.S. I mirror your enthusiasm, Dan, regarding Hemp. Kentucky is one state that is trying to make strides in growing industrial hemp. I've often thought that hemp could be the key to bringing my native Mississippi out of its poor health and poverty. If only politicians were concerned about their fellow humans and not about reelection. The MS Delta is so rich and life-giving, but it is now being choked by miles of GMO corn, cotton, soybean and the pesticide needed to grow them. Not only is Hemp impervious to pests, you can have multiple harvests a year without having to rotate crops and leave the land fallow. It's a win win combination. As the statistics from Colorado will continue to prove the prosperity, fiscal and health, of its repealing of the prohibition, I'm sure some green thumb entrepreneur elsewhere will eventually buck the trend and just go for it. One domino to thrust the next, und so weiter...... Give it a few years and we'll be "drinking that free bubbalub and eating that rainbow stew." (Than you Merle, Country Visionary that you are!)

There's a big, brown cloud in the city,
And the countryside's a sin.
An' the price of life is too high to give up,
Gotta come down again.
When the world wide war is over and done,
And the dream of peace comes true.
We'll all be drinkin' free bubbalub,
Eatin' that rainbow stew.
When they find out how to burn water,
And the gasoline car is gone.
When an airplane flies without any fuel,
And the sunlight heats our home.
One of these days when the air clears up,
And the sun comes shinin' through.
We'll all be drinkin' free bubbalub,
An' eatin' that rainbow stew.
Eatin' rainbow stew in a silver spoon,
Underneath that sky of blue.
All be drinkin' free bubbalub,
An' eatin' that rainbow stew.
You don't have to get high to get happy,
Just think about what's in store.
When people start doin' what they oughta be doin',
Then they won't be booin' no more.
When a President goes through the White House door,
An' does what he says he'll do.
We'll all be drinkin' free bubbalub,
Eatin' that rainbow stew.
Eatin' rainbow stew in a silver spoon,
Underneath that sky of blue.
We'll all be drinkin' that free bubbalub,
Eatin' some rainbow stew.

Now that was a beautiful song. It helped a lot to have the text. Not so much to understand what the man is saying but to keep focused. With this kind of music I tend to go on "oh, jus' country song"-mode and being charmed by the southern accent, but never really listening to what they are saying (and that is a form of prejudice, shame on me).
Dan and others are passionate about hemp/weed in other ways than mainstream people are "passionate" about it (that's what I gathered at least, :p you never know). How (and should we) to deal with the stigma of marginal use of weed in defending it medicinal benefits and easy accessibility for the wide public.
Other important morning coffee question:
- How long do ducks live? (intereference of all kind disregarded)
And I found a small foundation in my surroundings that focuses on India. Yay :cheer2: Because they are small scale they have less costs on wages and transporting big crews and more money can go to the people who really need it. If all goes well, I'll be assigned a young girl whose name I'll abreviate to Fay. Her family does not have enough income to support her going to school anymore. She's already been going for a couple of years now, I believe. As is custom, the boys will get priority and be sent to school whilst the girls remain at home. Well, not for Fay and that's one step in the right direction.
So, if you are in doubt of doing something similar try looking for small non-profit organisations that are known enough to not be obscure but (as opposed to large international foundations with offices in countries other than yours) still within your locale so that's its easier to maintain contact with administration and following up.
Oh, and I met Donald on the way to the bakery. He told me to ask Ulli if Lucky could come over for brunch.

Isn't this what we've been doing here for ages?
So where will we find the collectors willing to pay us millions?

Listen to learn more about Lana Newstrom and her invisible art.
When the Here & Now thread started, this young woman, supposedly the best thing since Campbell’s Soup, was barely out of art college, and boy it shows. She’s dead right to call this invisible art: any inward sign of art is totally invisible, amounting to artlessness.
What we have is the outward signs of some pretty derivative minimalist art – and the different ‘works’ are Warholian mechanical derivations of each other. The medium is a light source projecting at some particular intensity an oval beam of variable dimensions onto a vertical monochrome wall. Dan Flavin used light fifty years ago. Various others used different shapes, and monochrome has been around since Malevich. It is non site-specific, since it was ‘designed’ in an empty studio and is exhibited in a busy gallery which ideally should be empty as well :). Collectors may well be disappointed therefore when a ‘work’ is again moved to their own premises.
It may look like abstract art, until we are told that there is an invisible artwork for the viewer to imagine, and which is implicitly somehow related to the work of ‘creation’ that produced it:
“Just because you can’t see anything, doesn’t mean I didn’t put hours of work into creating a particular piece”
And just because she says so doesn’t mean she did. But why should she worry anyway? Time and work have nothing to do with art, unless - or because - one is thinking in economic time-is-money terms (a bit late for that: this is the bankruptcy of art). More importantly: why should we worry? There is no trace of how she spent that time. A remote viewer would see nothing – nothing at all in the everyday sense, as opposed to the cosmic void of infinite potential; I can say this with some authority because I have such a witness (see below) :). Art is communication and the communicator has left the building. The message I hear is ‘last one out switch off the light’, but what we are seeing is the ‘cognoscenti’ ‘going into the light’.
The fact is that art has always been conceptual: grappling with giving material form to the immaterial. What usually happens is that this arduous and ultimately impossible process is short-circuited. Instead of translating the spiritual, which equates in material terms to nothing, art breeds upon itself and loses its soul as it becomes the material equivalent of nothing in the trivial sense. If you haven’t got this spiritual connection, art college teaches you how to use the crutch or illusion of ‘art history’.
And of course, the invisible artwork is itself something of an ‘archetype’ – literally the artistic equivalent of the emperor’s new clothes. ‘Archetype’ is the word used by Hans Belting in The Invisible Masterpiece; it is a long book, and I can do no more than dip into it here.
The basis is a story by Balzac, Le Chef-d’oeuvre inconnu (The Unknown Masterpiece). It is about an artist called Frenhofer unable to finish a picture of an impossibly perfect woman for lack of a model beautiful enough. Eventually he decides that it is finished after all and shows it to his friends.
The friends however, see merely a ‘wall of painting’. The ‘body’ of the painting has effaced the body of the woman, and where the eroticism in the painter’s gaze showed him a beautiful woman, the others see nothing. Not only the representation of a woman but the very presence of a work appears to them to be an illusion: in their blunted expectation they fail to acknowledge this phantom work. (p.104)
This is precisely the viewer-response we are seeing here, described two centuries in advance!
We are further told that Balzac’s title was an adaptation of an earlier work called Le Chef-d’oeuvre d’un inconnu (The Masterpiece of a Nobody), in which the work was not impossible, just plain bad. While Frenhofers of that type are two a penny (and I suggest we have one of them here), there are also talented ones for them to hide behind and ape without understanding:
Van Gogh was a reincarnation of Frenhofer, and Cézanne is said to have cried out, ‘I am Frenhofer!’ Picasso rented a studio in the very street in Paris where the story opens, and it was there that he painted Guernica. Ambroise Vollard commissioned him to make a series of engravings based on The Unknown Masterpiece, a series that is among the most profound commentaries on it. (p.123)
(…)
‘there is nothing to see on the canvas’ (…) The tragic outcome ensues when the others cannot see what the painter believes in. What no one else can see has obviously not become a work. The work would have furnished the one proof that the idea was no mere illusion. (p.126)
Belting goes on to discuss real ‘invisible masterpieces’, like Picasso’s Demoiselles d’Avignon, absent from public view for it first nine years – ‘a menacing wall of figures whose exotic masks warn us to keep our distance’ (p.256) that turns the viewer into a voyeur:
For when this voyeur visits a painter’s studio, he is a client with whom the painter negotiates a price. Such an implicit analogy impudently struck at the heart of art selling itself for money.
We have come a long way from the idea of the female form symbolizing the divine beauty of art. This prostitution leads to his analysis of another invisible masterpiece: the Mona Lisa. When the painting was stolen from the Louvre in 1911, the combination of gap on the wall and the mass production of reproductions triggered the attention of the likes of Duchamp, who reduced the portrait to a moustache and beard, and later Warhol, who gave her the Marilyn Monroe/Campbell Soup treatment, ‘substituting the cliché for the work’.
Is this what we are doing here? I think not. Rather than this caricature, we are more like the old masters described by Zbigniew Herbert on the last page of The End of Art by Donald Kuspit:
A major part of contemporary art declares itself on the side of chaos, gesticulates in a void, or tells the story of its own barren soul. The old masters – all of them without exception – could repeat after Racine, ‘We work to please the public.’ Which means they believed in the purposefulness of their work and the possibility of interhuman communication. They affirmed visible reality with an inspired scrupulousness and childish seriousness, as if the order of the world and the revolution of the stars, the permanence of the firmament, depended on it. Let such naiveté be praised.

When I was still an art student at college there was a discussion about the Beatles songs having meaningless lyrics.
That they were inviting the public to make of them whatever they wanted to see or hear in them.
Which somehow led me to the conclusion that an artist must commit to making a statement which was way beyond what the public projected onto it, but conveyed a deeper essence.
But what if the public are themselves waking up, and tap into that deep pool from which only true artists used to drink?

I have decided to use psychic cinder blocks to reinforce my wall. Inside the wall, I am safe.
Yesterday, the yoga teacher gave us an assignment for the week. Show kindness. I realized, then, how often I am kind to others. Yet I am lacking when it comess to myself. I am quick to have compassion for others, as I can empathize that the journey we all travel is filled with potholes and unexpected speed bumps. But I do not show this same compassion to myself. Is my journey less difficult? I think not. If I were sitting in the chair across from me, this me would have great respect for that me. This me would see the God in that me.
Therefore, today, I will have compassion for me, too. And I will find kindness for me, for I am no less a child of God than anyone else.
Much Love,

This is what is happening. The traditional artist is the high priest of creativity. The need for clergy of any description is disappearing as people are learning to cut out the middle men. Some are still collecting their pay check while serving their notice, but the actual work has already been transferred elsewhere.

It depends on what you mean by ‘seriously’. Artists have literally been exhibiting sh:t and other trash for years. The fact that the situation is beyond satire does not mean it is not worth commenting on. On the contrary, any concerted attack on creativity needs to be exposed.

WRONG GALLERY CONTROVERSY AT TATE MODERN
Leave it to the jokers at the Wrong Gallery to revive the old art-world practice of baiting the monarchy in England. The tiny novelty space, which has currently set up shop on the third floor of Tate Modern, is showcasing a painting by New York painter George Condo titled Dreams and Nightmares of the Queen. Part of a suite of nine portraits of Queen Elizabeth II (recently profiled by the New Yorker), the controversial work is a brushy rendering of the monarch as a regal Cabbage Patch doll (Condo had intended to paint Her Majesty in the nude in the style of The Rokeby Venus, but he was warned that nude portraits of the royal family were not allowed in public institutions.) While the royal family has declined to comment, Brendan Kelly of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters has spoken out, describing the Condo portrait as "embarrassingly bad" -- though Andrew James, the society's secretary, was less dismissive, according to the Sunday Times, noting, "It's unsettling, but the picture speaks to you directly."

Hi Playdo..Love to You and Family : )
I gotta start calling it Cannabis Oil instead of "pure" hemp oil so as not to confuse...
from the "flowers" not the seeds as Dennis brought out fully!
Ya know..I was driving down rte. 6 here on the Cape heading to the Wampanoag Gathering last weekend and they just literally destroyed about 4 miles of beautiful "high" tree growth about 40 feet wide in the center of this major highway...
gone, decimated.
Stopped at the "main" State Police Building in Bourne at the rotary and asked if they knew what was going on, politely.
They said there was a drainage problem which was causing too many vehicle water slides...
they thought(thought, what thought?)
Felt like screaming, "There are other ways to alleviate this without destruction and death"...but only went on a quieter rock and roll nature spurt...they said we have work to do and needed to be sure to hear the radio...while sliding the counter window shut...thank you have a nice day.
You monkeys on a string
Wanna come help me burn down the local department of transportation buildings that were the leapfrog for MassDOT getting this going and the 'massive' heavy equipment and cutters out there...maybe we can hijack the equipment and take their buildings down with them.
Send me a pm if Ya wanna help : )
......
Hi Violet, Love to You and Family and Whomever Else, cats, dogs, and ducks(oh, that's Ulli : ) and such .
Dan and others are passionate about hemp/weed in other ways than mainstream people are "passionate" about it (that's what I gathered at least, you never know). How (and should we) to deal with the stigma of marginal use of weed in defending it medicinal benefits and easy accessibility for the wide public.
Cannabis Oil from the flower...the good resin stuff...can get it on our west coast
Grow it quietly and make it Yourself(Cannabis Oil from the flower) and
spread it like healing wildfire, baby...healing wildfire : )

The cinder block wall was coming along nicely. I got a tube of gray goo to fill in the cracks and spaces between the blocks. The problem was that the gray goo started glowing purple. I shoved that layer of wall out away from me to make room for a new layer. And tried the goo again, gray in the tube and started to glow purple. Okay, I understand this is all in my head, but these things that happen in my head are as real as the things that happen outside my head. (I remind myself.)
I don't know what to make of that. But I did remember a time when I was young, probably continued from 3-6 years old, when I constructed a space. It was called pretend then. Lines of reality certainly are not what they used to be.

The comparison with John Cage is very interesting. Someone once said that music is about changing the quality of the silence. John Cage’s silence focuses on the distracting parasitical elements of a concert setting – all the things one tries to eliminate from the experience: people coughing and sneezing, visual distractions and so on – the background noise that music is usually working against. The conductor mopping his brow became a moment of hilarity, another distraction in what was otherwise a serious piece. I for one don’t find this a particularly successful piece of music, although admittedly someone had to try it on. This is self-conscious music (music on music) and has nothing to do with the experience of real silence in nature. Like watching a Buddhist monk meditating instead of meditating yourself. The musical equivalent of Piero Manzoni’s Merda d'artista: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artist%27s_****
A better equivalent in the art world might be what the cleaning woman saw after she binned a trashy Damien Hirst installation: a nice clean gallery: but she was the only one who really got to enjoy it. :) This light show is the equivalent of a full-length John Cage concert: 4’33”, 19’47”, 9’11”, and after the interval a Mahlerian-length work in 66’6”. You might find yourself listening to a riot in the middle, or total silence by the end when everyone has walked out. In other words, this sort of thing works once, very briefly: it’s a gimmick. Yet what we get is the exact opposite of a one-off: it’s mass production. Andy Warhole (deliberate misspelling) said:
When Picasso died I read in a magazine that he had made four thousand masterpieces in his lifetime and I thought, “Gee, I could do that in a day”… with my technique… And they’d all be masterpieces because they’d all be the same painting.
If you mechanize Piero Manzoni’s alchemy, you get Wim Delovye’s Cloaca, a fully operational artificial digestive system or ‘poo machine’:
http://www.amusingplanet.com/2012/05/poo-machine-by-wim-delvoye.html
http://vimeo.com/45127139
This machine will convert food, including gourmet meals, into faeces, it’s not garbage going in, but it’s all garbage coming out. What is wrong with this accurate depiction of our present society? It totally misses the whole purpose of eating in the first place: to produce energy to operate an organism that will then go and do hopefully interesting and useful things. Where does the energy go? It is simply volatilized, siphoned off by some invisible parasite – presumably producing physical heat, and an insidious mental drowsiness in the viewers dutifully trooping past. This is literally when, to use the common abbreviation, the SHTF :)
In ‘The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction’ Walter Benjamin explains how the work of art has lost the aura of the unique object originally serving a ritual purpose:
an all-important insight: for the first time in world history, mechanical reproduction emancipates the work of art from its parasitical dependence on ritual. To an ever greater degree the work of art reproduced becomes the work of art designed for reproducibility. From a photographic negative, for example, one can make any number of prints; to ask for the 'authentic' print makes no sense. But the instant the criterion of authenticity ceases to be applicable to artistic production, the total function of art is reversed. Instead of being based on ritual, it begins to be based on another practice - politics.
http://www.berk-edu.com/VisualStudies/readingList/06b_benjamin-work%20of%20art%20in%20the%20age%20of%20mechanical%20reproduction.pdf
Hence creativity today is stuck between a rock (ritual) and a hard place (politics) – between the uniqueness venerated by religion (bordering on fetishism and idolatry) and the miraculous, economic and economical multiplication of technology expensively selling a cheapened form of religion for the masses – I say religion because it tends back towards the veneration of uniqueness in the shape of an ever-dwindling elite. The creative oasis we have made on this thread and this forum produces a reversal of both these configurations. Against the god of uniqueness, we propose multiple uniquenesses – many very different contributors working together towards something that is not already established on a pedestal, but still in the process of creation. To do this, we tame technology because we all use the same keyboards and other hardware, but it never comes out the same twice (or if it does, alarm bells start ringing). And we don’t need or want any ‘professional artists’ interfering with that process. We are all artists, and all means every single one of us, including humans :)
I used the word ‘alchemy’ just now: we are talking about liberating the spirit in matter, as opposed to an alternative agenda seeking to imprison the spirit in matter. “In stercore invenitur – In the dirt we will find it; the lapis (the stone), or the philosophical gold.”

'The pitchforks are coming'
Memo: From Nick Hanauer
To: My Fellow Zillionaires
http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2014/06/the-pitchforks-are-coming-for-us-plutocrats-108014.html
Great article. I especially love the title!
I'm currently writing a song that is about the destruction of small family farms and the rise of Capitalism. Part of the chorus is "And the pitchforks and the torches are coming after you..."
Pitchforks and torches are symbolic of revolution and sovereignty, and as a part-time farmer, I'm all for it. ;)
Now with video.
Nick's talk is pretty innocent, though. It has no mention of secret societies, black ops, fascism running in the backdrop, etc.
He does touch on the point that such inequality that exists today can only exist in a totalitarian system. That through all points in known history, any idea of recorded or known history.. that such inequality has only been capable of existing in a system that has open totalitarianism, ie, overt force used on the public.
He states and it is true that no system in all of human history, can in, any way whatsoever, survive what is going on in the USA right now. That it is death on wheels and in greased form, coming at high speed out of the barrel of a gun, right at the USA, right now, and it (the USA as most know it) cannot survive.
What has happened in the US is this black ops secret society system is in existence, hiding from the public eye, in the backdrop. Nick does not cover that it is a planned and executed take down. a FORCED and enforced take down via secret societies and black ops, tied to fascist origins ---- from hundreds of years back.
It is a turning point. It is a forced meeting with an ending. Society will die, or it will flip, but there will be no middle ground. That....... is the enforced fulcrum and lever.

Gloriana will be ok. Thanks for all your good wishes. She had one surgery last night at the local hospital,
and will be transferred to San Jose' s brand new trauma unit today, for more surgery.
Two broken bones in her legs, the splinters were removed last night.
She was on a bicycle, when a car suddenly swerved in front of her. To avoid it, she served, too, and this black truck ran right over her, breaking her leg.
Apart from that double fracture and a lot of bruises she is fine and her pretty face without a scratch.
No head trauma.
She is lucky to have survived that. There's talk of a miracle.

Gloriana, heal up quickly, and heal up perfectly. Maybe someday I'll get to play ping-pong against you, and I don't want you to have any excuses. :~) [I would probably be lucky to score a single point.]
Well, the porcupine's luck ran out last night or early this morning, as his lifeless body was sitting on the edge of the road this morning. The area (though it has been logged), is about as close to wilderness as it gets within city limits. There are black bear, and reports of lynx and cougar in the area, along with deer, coyotes, fox, porcupines, skunk and other critters. They rebuilt/repaired the road and made a single underpass for a hiking trail, and it would have been good if they had included several other "nature tunnels" beneath the road for migrating animals and animals that simply want to cross through the area now bisected by a road. Death is a harsh sentence for being slow and wanting to cross the road.

I found the John Cage performance to be an exercise in being present in the Here and Now. Admittedly, the first time I saw the blank wall of invisible art I was amazed that people paid to stare at that. However, I can see now that one draw to this sort of thing is that these people might desparately need a moment when the stimuli around and inside them are silenced. You never know, someone might have had a profound spiritual experience as a result.
As the John Cage piece progressed, I found myself engrossed in the energy, which became stronger and "louder."
Thanks for exposing me to something new :)

I don't think there is a "late" when it comes to healing :) If all moments exist simultaneously, this moment is exactly when she needs the healing. Of course, in a strictly 3d sense, she will likely have a tough road to recovery. So I would say she can use all the help she can get, right now.

Here’s a practice thread and an old post for you 1inMany, since it seems you weren’t listening properly to John Cage last time around :)
Well if John Cage can do it in 4'33" I wonder if it's possible here.
Post your silence.
:sick::sick:

Thankyou
I posted John Cage's composition, 4'33", yesterday [ http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?30405-Here-and-Now...What-s-Happening&p=548957&viewfull=1#post548957 ]
and, synchronistically unbeknownst to me, read that today is John Cage's 100th Birthday: http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/arts/culture/la-et-cm-john-cage-100th-birthday-20120904,0,7416688.story
I have a great friend that is part of the on-going production of John Cage's composition in Halberstadt, Deutschland, Organ2/ASLSP (AS SLow aS Possible), a composition for organ that will end in the year 2640, Gottwillig! It began on Cage's 89th birthday, 5 Sept. 2001, and was written to last 639 years. Each note in the piece changes only after the duration of many months. A seventeenth month long pause preceded the first note! Talk about patience, perspective, and silence! Oooooommmmmmm.......
Happy 100th Birthday Mr. Cage!

The cage response and the Warhole response, and so on, is the moment of stark contrast required to exist, in the face of..hhmm..oh..lets call it 'an undercurrent of forced Teutonic ritual'. A ritualism that may exist anywhere in any given evolved system. The joker, the fool ....as contrast, the required moment. But beyond that, if it persists, it becomes the Teutonic forced ritual itself, or it's counter in permanence, which is no less ridiculous and destructive. Thus, knowing when to let it go is part of the message it tries to impart.
To me, something like buying a Warhole painting and then shrugging and burning it, in a lighthearted forward looking mood (no emotions attached), would be the best kind of message that one could bring out in one's self and to the world.
Not because Warhole's works require burning, but because being stuck ~is~ the Teutonic moment/state... just as effectively as the Teutonic extreme itself is.

Hey, araucaria! Why not do an analysis of 'Nyan Cat 10 hours'? ;)
Yes, you do that. I recommend you view it at least five times so as not to miss anything.
No, no, no. You missed my point. YOU do an analysis. You're so good at it.

This all reminds me of the time that I had a conceptual art class. I hated that class. (Example: someone would bring in a vacuum cleaner and demonstrate its male/female qualities.)
Long story short, the last class project was a giant mural. We taped these large sheets of paper together around the classroom -- like one, long 'canvass' -- and everyone got exactly one sheet to 'contribute' whatever it was they got out of the class.
When we finished, nobody had considered what was to be done with this 'art' before hand. There was talk of taking the whole thing and ceremoniously burning it.
Here comes the fun part. Since I liked my piece, I wanted to keep it.
The whole class wanted to destroy the thing except for me. (Note: my friend also didn't want to destroy it but she didn't want to stand up against the class.)
I think we sat there like that for two hours trying to work it out. But, I refused to burn, dice up, or otherwise destroy what I had created. The teacher (sadist) made the point that no one was right or wrong and seemed to enjoy the exchange (or lack thereof).
Finally, the class threw up their hands and gave me the whole thing -- to do with as I wished.
In other words... the view of the one is just as important as the view of the many. Just because the view of the many is different from the one doesn't mean they are right.
Btw, the 'art' I made was a drawing of a dragon (me) surrounded by rough waters... sitting on a island.
That was over two decades ago. Not much has changed. :biggrin1:

He appears to be an honest politician. At least, in this video:

Most of us Villagers can relate to dragons, as well as islands and don't like those rough waters.
Most are INFTs and some are INTPs (me)
and use this thread to stay away from the PITNs.
