Strat, my heart goes out to you. It's an awful place to be. Is there any way you could avoid a hospital and go to a regular doctor? The E.R. IS hellish and best be avoided if possible.
I don't mean to keep harping on this but I have nobody to talk to - this cluster headache **** is outta control. Just got through w/ more literal screaming pain and broke some ****. It sucks im on disability and live with my folks, would you tell your mother about how miserable your life is? Shes on the verge of tears when she looks at me. It's ****ing rough. It's called suicide headaches cause people kill themselves from this **** and I have to fight off the suicidal thoughts during the bouts. Its ****ing miserable. Why would I share this with loved ones? My day? Yeah I was vomiting in the toilet and trying not to kill myself - was lovely.
So tonight or tomorrow I'm thinking bout checking into the ER which is something everyone just loves doing. **** man. I'm trying to keep it together its just so hard.
hi Strat, when you go to the ER, how do they treat you for that?

Not a chance. Women that have CH's say it's worse than childbirth and I'm having several a day. I can't keep myself composed. Most docs can't deal w/ CH's cause they are so rare. My neurologist can't deal w/ it either. They just fill the o2 script.
They did try different drugs and combos of drugs but they were awful and more often than not made the condition worse.
hi Strat, when you go to the ER, how do they treat you for that?
Last time I went it was after a CH attack and they sent me home despite my request to stay. So if I'm in the midst of an attack for sure they'll give me o2 but I dunno what else. I'm assuming/praying they'd just shoot me up with something to make it stop.

ok, gotcha. and if you're in the middle of a cluster attack, does the O2 stop it?
Strat
6th June 2019, 01:44
No but it's faaaaar better to have it than not. If I catch the headache at onset then the o2 may stop it. I have a large ('k') tank at my house but I ran through it in a couple days. I can't get a replacement till 3 tomorrow. So if I have one tonight or before 3 tomorrow then it's ER time.
For whatever reason the pain has been getting worse and the o2 isn't helping so much, hence my venting post. I was just locked in my room, screaming profanities and I punched a hole in my wall. It's actually embarrassing cause I'm not like that, it's just that at that level of pain one tends to lose composure. It's also just upsetting when it's all over, everything settles and then you look around at the damage you've done. It sucks. This is also why I want to go to ER and just have them shoot me up with morphine or whatever. I don't give a **** at this point the pain just needs to stop.

We, humans; can only experience one strong sensation at a time.
This is why "Lamaze (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamaze_technique)" works for birthing mothers.
I'm just saying, beyond external support there are other options; however I understand (intellectually, not through experience) the debilitating nature of what you describe, best of luck.
Not joking:
Tried anything crazy? Tried smoking Salvia or something during? a lot of times these types of issues are psychosomatic (not saying thats your case, I'm not a doctor, just a recognizer of patterns).

Just checking on you Strat.
Strat, sending energy your way, wishing you peace. I hope you can feel it with some surcease from your pain. I wish I had something more to offer besides my fervent hope that a viable solution arrives for you, sooner rather than later.
Strat, I can send some healing energy too to you with Omi if that's okay. We are also organizing a weekly global meditation (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?101306-Sunday-Weekly-Global-Meditation) where we could try to help more with your health problems.

cheese was the worst
Hah - the only "food" that my son can find in my kitchen - cheese - cheddar cheese from the raw milk of grass fed cows.
I buy and consume it in bulk (with lots of salt). Awesome stuff.
Strange is the diversity of human (and other being) nature.
Sorry to throw back to this, but I just saw it...I have a "cheese son" also! Makes me nuts. :)

I made it through the night and morning wasn't so bad. So no ER thank god. O2 was delivered today but they screwed up the order and I only got 1 k tank... Annoying but such is life.
For what it's worth I really appreciate the check up. It goes far in my book.

What's Omi?
Absolutely on the meditation. Meditation has been my savior so far so I'm open to this idea. I practice mindfulness often.
Reading my previous post is crazy. It's like a totally different person. I generally don't get worked up in life and am more or less a mellow dude. Just that kinda pain brings out an animalistic (or whatever) side of me.

I tried finding a CH pain scale that someone came up with a while ago but I cant find it cause googles new ****ing bs algorithi ****ed up everything. Also people are censoring 'suicide headaches' and thats really pissing me off i'll pay everything i onw to be locked in the room with the cock sucker that thinks thats a good idea its causing so much more harm than good it needs to be talked about.
if someone can find that pain scale that i'm thinking of it'd be great, it was specific to cluster headaches. I think it started with a 'k' but I'm not sure. ER may happen this weekend nor looking good fml. I'll hang in there because there's no option but ****.

RANKING EVERY TYPE OF HEADACHE BY HOW PAINFUL THEY ARE
From ‘suicide’ headaches to migraines, here’s where each sits on the agony scale:
1) Cluster Headache (aka, Suicide Headache): Cluster headaches tend to strike in groups, hence the name, and they only affect one side of the head. On the side being affected, the eyelid droops, the eye tears, the pupil becomes smaller and the nostril runs. Cluster headaches also affect men three to four times more often than women, according to Loder.
As per the pain, it’s really, really bad. “Cluster headaches are noticeably severe to the point where patients often can’t control themselves during a headache — they may bang their head, pace the room or become violent,” Loder explains. “A long time ago, I wrote an article about medical-legal consequences of cluster headaches, and there are some very interesting stories in the literature: One person held a SWAT team at bay , because he wanted medicine for his cluster headache.”
Making matters even worse, the exact cause of cluster headaches is unknown, meaning there’s no cure. Doctors can provide preventative treatments (including inflammation-suppressing medications) in an attempt to subdue attacks, or they can administer fast-acting pain relievers to help you press through the agony.
All of which leads Loder to believe that cluster headaches should sit atop the pain scale.
2) [B]Hemorrhage Headache: Headaches associated with bleeding in the brain are “way up there” on the list, according to Loder. There’s just one problem: “Many of these people don’t live to tell us about them, so it’s hard to rank these kinds of things,” she says. Even still, any headache resulting from bleeding in the brain — Loder specifically points to gunshot wounds and aneurysms as potential causes of this — deserves a top spot on the list.
3) Migraine: Migraines are characterized by pounding headaches (often on one side of the head) that can last for days at a time. Worse yet, that pain is often accompanied by nausea, vomiting and extreme sensitivity to light and sound. Women are also three times more likely to experience migraines than men, because hormonal fluctuations — which occur more often in women — can trigger them.
Because migraines are a neurological disorder, if you suffer from migraines, you have a genetic predisposition for your brain cells to misfire (which is the real cause behind the pain associated with migraines). Every migraine sufferer has his or her own set of ‘triggers’ that ignite this hurricane in their brain, but here are a few common triggers: Alcohol, artificial sweeteners, cigarette smoke, hormonal changes, stress, sleep deprivation, dehydration, heat and excessive noise.
All in all, migraines are no fun. Your average over-the-counter pain relievers can be enough to help at least take the sharpest edge from the pain brought on by migraines, but doctors also recommend turning off the lights, applying a hot or cold compress to your head and consuming a small (note: small) amount of caffeine. In tiny amounts, caffeine can help enhance the pain-reducing effects of drugs like Tylenol and Aspirin.
4) Tension-Type Headache: Tension-type headaches are the most common type of headache, and they cause mild to moderate pain that may feel like either a tight band around your head or a weight on top of it. The pain typically lasts for 30 minutes to several days, and these headaches are often triggered by stress. Unlike migraines, tension-type headaches aren’t accompanied by nausea or vomiting, making them the most tolerable (but still painful) headache, according to Loder. Similar to migraines, tension-type headaches can be remedied with a combination of over-the-counter pain relievers and a hot or cold compress.

(I've not kept them secret, so I won't go into them again here.)
I need to devote a lot more time to my creative and my healing process, but since I've been a member here for such a long time, going on sabbatical hasn't ever severed the tie sufficiently for me to be able to do that, so I am going to request that I be unsubscribed.

And i know how the longer it goes preventing sleep the more debilatiting it gets, i have looked myself in that dead weaping eye at 4 in the morning wondering how much more that god dam demon has to offer, vs. how much more i can take. And i have looked myself in the mirror also wondering how can keep my job like this!

Natalie, from one INFJ to another, I’ve lost count of how many times I wanted to unsubscribe, especially in the last 5-6 months. I’m aware that it’s more about me than out there. Cave time helps to resolve the stuck gunk.
Over the last several years, I see this withdraw pattern quickly resolving itself. I’m committed to life in balance, so I make sure I do the things that help with that daily goal. It includes knowing which battles to walk away from and which to engage. (disclaimer: it's a work in progress)
This post is not to persuade you to change your mind. It’s just a reminder that INFJ’s pick up on others energies and it’s important to separate the two. I know you know this. It's just that sometimes it helps to hear it in another’s voice. https://i.imgur.com/Wfi0NBS.gif

Quite right, Paula. It's the accumulation of gunk that has finally got to me, and I can't put off the de-gunking any longer.
Sitting at my computer too many hours per day makes my "worry wart" happy, but has not contributed to my health, and now that the weather is nice, I can't justify that behavior any longer.
I have faith the conscientious members will remain vigilant, and hopefully some newcomers will join and keep things lively.

So what have I been up to while I was gone?
Endless little projects, some unfinished.
Gardening, gardening, weeding, planting, watering, feeding.
Even built a lookout tower.
Also had the garden and river blessed. Turned out to be a true blessing. Worked like a dream.

Lookout tower view of garden, but would love to see lookout tower.
My lookout tower is my bedroom window across the back to the Lakes, but this includes a neighbours garden, my builder and great family friend. In smaller back room have binoculars which gives me vast views across Loweswater valley and all surrounds, so lucky to live here. At front across Solway Firth to Criffel, and the contentious Dubmill Point where the main road is temporarily washed away, but reinstatement and local connectivity in progress.
Lucky to live in great places xx

Hi PL. Ernie Nemeth, hello!!
Everybody has been too too sweeeet. (Too too sweeeet is a Barbadian expression. Barbados was once a sugar island)
I’m deeply touched by this welcome.
How ARE you all, and how have you BEEN?
Yesterday when I saw Bob’s post I wondered what he had meant when he mentioned “ details”.
And last night I guess I found out, having woken up at 1:00 AM, and traveled mentally to a certain casino in Laughlin, Nevada.
I guess I will have to find extra nap time today, to catch up on sleep.
I had no idea that there had been an Avalon Conference.
And within a UFO conference!!
Could I have survived that much stress? Would have been total overload to my Aspbie self... physically, emotionally, mentally, psychically and perhaps even spiritually.
Plus I have come to hate airports, and those awful security lines.
Knowing myself I would have searched for the fun people, which to me means the “boys”,
and probably would have ended up hanging out with Target, DNA and Axman.
Nothing personal, but having fun, for me this is the best way to remedy stress.
My interest in the UFO phenomena has faded with the years, and I see it more as just another reference point, like a water cooler that people can gather around. Just like soccer, which Costa Ricans are crazy about, is just nothing more than a reference point.
The interactions of individuals create energy fields that keep the river of life flowing.
This thread is such an energy field.

Life has changed a lot, and for the better.
My business changed hands in 2016, and the new boss is a nice guy who cares more about good service than anything else, and his birthday is only 3 days after mine. So, it has almost been a lesson in how to better communicate with myself, ha!
I have developed a profound love of smoking meat, although I tend to reserve that type of grilling for cooler weather. I have created a bbq sauce recipe that has all the family and friends begging for more. And another great recipe for southern fried greens which is to die for (literally, as it involves frying a pound of bacon, then frying the greens in all that grease).
Every chance I get, I am renting a kayak or taking my raft down the lazy creek that runs through the area where I live. Such peace, especially when I'm going alone. It feeds the soul.
The magical practice has gone to ground and re-emerged as a pure act in consciousness. The mind recognizes the need, and universe follows suit, or universe is tickling the mind ahead of time with what's coming. It's hard to say. But, two nights ago, you had a cameo appearance in what was otherwise a weird and nonsensical series of dreams.
Like I said in the PM, I sense great times ahead!

I absolutely thrive on new beginnings. What made the last few years appear so stale was not only that I missed the stimulating and thought provoking atmosphere of Avalon but also this darn thing called the aging process.
And how time seems to be speeding up. And how I don’t want to leave a mess behind for others to curse me when I’m dead and gone.
But then, not too long ago, I found some videos on YouTube that deal with the subject of longevity and that perhaps the research being done on telomeres will lead to a simple and inexpensive pill that when ingested daily will add another 80 years to my life. 80 years of healthy life. Imagine!!
Well, just imagining such a scenario pulled me out of depression, and I was flooded with fresh ideas. Not only gardening ideas, but about construction, and about developing real estate. And once I felt that excitement I could feel new energies coming my way.
This is the power of hope. Hope raises consciousness, and higher levels of consciousness create new worlds.
Anyone else have had such or similar thoughts?

Not there yet but yes the aging thing is constantly on my mind these days.
My solution so far is exactly the opposite of yours.
I have decided that all evidence points to this being a ride. I think me and mine are on vacation at a theme park. We've been standing in line a long time. It's finally our turn. We watch the arrival of the car ahead of us. All the participants are laughing and exclaiming how real the ride seemed. Some want to go stand in line again for another ride. And in the car we are whisked away, memories wiped, powers removed, and we begin the ride we here call life.
That's the best I can come up with. I cannot accept that life is defined by death...

Interesting take, Ernie. To me the idea of a theme park brings mixed memories, and some even filled with horror. To do with vertigo. One even is of a vivid dream, which I had around the year 2000, where I was in a crowded theme park, and was being chased by a small UFO. Had to run and hide inside a tent. ( That reminds me...I once worked as a fortune teller (astrologer) in a tent in Barbados in the early nineties, at a fair at government house.) Maybe the dream has to do with that Another story)
Gurdjieff would have said “which I is talking?” So maybe we can agree that we are multi-dimensional beings, and with our shifting levels of consciousness talk from whatever level we currently occupy. The reality of this dimension comes more into question when we see its absurdity, but when we see our own progress from lessons learnt, and face our challenges full on we enter another reality, where it doesnt even matter anymore whether we are dead or alive.
Of course, some of us talk about having made a pre-life soul contract, and don’t want things to end until that imagined contract is completed. Others have powerful memories of more perfect worlds and can’t wait to get back there, and have perhaps forgotten that they had a deep wish to come here initially, either to help this world with its transformation, or to develop certain virtues that they were lacking, or both.
As an individualist I would never want to insist on making everyone’s belief the same.
But I would like for people to question what they are doing here in the first place. Serving the greater good can be done in numerous ways. And the greater good will benefit not only ourselves, but also our children and grandchildren.
Eventually we will live within our deeds.
I go by the belief that the human body is like the cosmos, with trillions of individual cells, all different, all have their function, all have their membranes (walls) and all transform eventually.
I don’t think that there will ever be one single answer for all.

For me, hope is a word that means just out of reach. What raises consciousness is elimination of beliefs and choices that tax the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual faculties.
Higher levels of consciousness comes through actions and deeds, creativity, love, self love, knowledge, discover new ways of doing and living the ordinary day-to-day, do whatever brings joy, exercise in whatever form that has life-long staying power, reflection, meditation, moving meditation (Tai Chi), yoga stretches, and food and drink that contributes to health, healing and longevity, etc.

I finished up Gigi Young’s on-line courses on the "clairs". I spend part of my day experimenting with and journal it. Some benefits are: vivid dreams, ideas, solutions, increased synchronicities and the time between Q&A’s is often immediate.
There’s a lot of free information over the internet from many sources that’ll help you either become aware of or brush up on your natural abilities. Usually there’s one or two clairs that are the strongest, but all can be enhanced with practice.
clairvoyance - inner sight
clairsentience - inner feeling
clairaudience - inner hearing
claircognizance - inner knowing
clairaugustus/clairsavorance/clairscent - inner smell and taste

Eye of the storm is a great place to be.
One of the best pieces of advice I ever received was...'don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff'. Took me years, but I finally got it.
The energy within is the energy we put out to the 'universe'/'universal consciousness' (whatever you want to call it). Want to change the world? Change yourself. It really is that simple. But we all know that, don't we.

ET Guides vs Spirit Guides?
snippets
ETS have us questioning our role in the cosmos. They bring us to ask questions about our consciousness and other lives. They bring us to questions about time, the nature of time, past lives, parallel lives. We start to think about our consciousness projecting into lives on other planets. We start thinking about ourselves in terms of a cosmic being rather than an earth-based being.
When we start thinking about our spirit guides in a cosmic way, it's actually a very sophisticated way of thinking about our soul and our consciousness. Suddenly the other side is no longer the other side this nebulous word that we use to describe where our deceased relatives go, where we go ,it’s sort of just like this blanket place that exists beyond the veil.
That’s not the case when you have a cosmic guide. The moment that your perception goes cosmic and you regain your cosmic consciousness, you start to realize that the other side is actually different densities and dimensions. That they can be traversed in your astral body. And you start to become aware of who you are and how you function as a multi-dimensional human. And that isn’t the case with just spirit guides.
The traditional beliefs around spirit guides, although you may naturally begin to wonder about lucid dreaming and interdimensional travel and things like that on your own, the traditional teachings about spirit guides don’t necessarily lead you there to the same intensity that when you have a cosmic guide.
There's a bit of a dichotomy between what I would call the traditional spiritual teachings that were very popular before 2012 and the teachings and the new teachers that are coming forward that are post 2012 is we’re dealing with a different type of light, at a different type of consciousness, and our guides are appearing to us.
I think in more of their real form a lot of people were perceiving angels and spirit guides in more of an earth-based way because that's what would work. But in reality, if that veil were removed they probably look more like interdimensional beings with the exception of some.
So that's really the dichotomy. That the dichotomy is that when you start going interdimensional, you start to think of your spirit guides as cosmic and interdimensional, it completely changes the way that you interact with your soul and that you think about your soul and that you think about the world around you.

My question is how did big tech become so huge? And the answer, as is often the case, appears, once a question is asked.
The support from the masses, that’s what does it. Thats how Walmart, MacDonalds, and other corporate giants grew. There is a moment when a small but steadily growing business reaches critical mass, and suddenly the growth addiction sets in and then all that matters is to eliminate the competition. Big pharma CEOs admit candidly that they are not in the business to cure disease, but to please their shareholders.
Unbridled capitalism will always aim for the survival of the fittest, and when out of control automatically gives rise to socialist movements, and even revolution.
Once they have enough money to get into government lobbies the warning lights should come on. Legislation is needed to control lobbies, and only then will corruption be reduced, and fetter the insane power trips we are witnessing today.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_VQG3SL8ZQ
Also have decided to take down my jolly tea-drinking avatar, and replace it with one that reflects the somber and more serious feeling of the forum.
Quite a challenge I might add, since Im feeling really, really positive these days. But there is nothing worse than trying to force a gloomy crowd to cheer up, and then failing.
Better to join in in the shared sorrows. Only then can we gather strength to pick ourselves up by the bootstraps.

To me transparency is the opposite of deception.
YET:
many deceivers use the word to win the confidence of their prey. They know there are truth seekers out there, and those truth seekers pose a danger to their feelings of security, which the deceiver type tries to maintain behind a deceptive smoke screen.
Meanwhile many genuine people, who don’t have a malicious bone in their bodies, also know that being too open can damage their comfort zone. In our turbulent times we get tossed between wishing for a better world for all, or make a protective cave for ourselves and our loved ones, believing that collective extinction is imminent.
So things are not that simple.
The biggest clash of philosophical thought these days, to me, anyway, is in the paradigms of the “we are all one” on the one hand, and “good and evil” or black and white thinking, and effort at excluding the grey tones, on the other hand.
Yet it is a bit of both, at different times. Each individual needs to take counsel with themselves, to arrive at the suitable answer. Meditation helps, but also contemplation. And the willingness to be specific about details.
This definitely poses a conundrum.

Careful about Peterson. I watched about 15-20 of his videos and found he made no missteps. No reason to distance myself from a minimal recommendation.
A friend, debating champ in his younger days...warned me to be careful as he says that Peterson does what is known as 'the Gish-gallop (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gish_gallop)'.
The problem, for the friend, is that Peterson is apparently an Israeli apologist of some sort, from the friend's understanding. The gish-gallop is from all Peterson's reading, and no apparent research of his own? Basically, forming and placing and ordering everyone else's data, in a way he sees fit. nothing new in that and pretty well on par for the vast majority of 'experts' - as we like to see them as being. The gish-gallop in this case might be the simple subtle re-framing of excellent data, presentation and connection methods, projections for the reader to fall or step/walk/flow into, etc.
So, the man has some really good and decent data but beneath it all, it may be a bit ..uhm..er..off.
Most of us are resigned to dealing with the end point data as we cannot do it all ourselves. Peterson is very very good at laying all of that data out in a useful manner. But the deeper unspoken sentiment may be a bit problematic. We don't know the reasons/shape/etc for that seldom shown apparent sentiment, or whatever the case may be, so I think it is a good idea to not get behind him 100%.
The usual cautions, as no one is perfect.

My knowledge of JP is fairly cursory. As a known proponent of free speech, and with decent name recognition, it might be worth a shot throwing a little energy and attention to his platform as far as that goes. I don't actually follow his material, knowing only bits and pieces, but I know that such a project has a chance of getting the right kind of support to make a difference in the dialogue about social media in general. That's where we come in. The same goes for Dotcom's effort.

40850Just basking in the glow of the most recent meditation, this involved oodles of light, pineal clearing with breath and gong sounds combined with drumming. The sounds were absolutely amazing and helped make the experience so beautiful.
Talked to a hindu friend, a meditator, she confirmed that these sounds can be very helpful in clearing the mind to assist with meditation.
The gong used was a huge, new piece of hand beaten brass. Of course I went looking for gongs and found the following, wow.
The flower of life runs through so many early belief systems and can be found all over the world. It is a representation of the mathematical projection of spheres onto a flat surface, such that the area is occupied by the exact area of the spheres. This throws up some overlaps and some gaps. This is how Nassim Haramein calculates the information transfer between the 'inside' and the 'surface' of fundamental particles, NOW INCLUDING THE ELECTRON

OK, I am going to suggest that this wonderful human:
https://imgur.com/qFMbEO0.jpg
WORKS FOR THIS GANG
https://imgur.com/ruFeJcl.jpg
The story goes like this.... and I cannot think of a better thread for my current bonkers thought processes.
We are facing climate chaos, and the settled science suggests the following process --
Solar output or some other heating input (provably NOT CO2) triggers oceanic warming. This after 200-1000 years DELAY triggers the measured (see ice core records) CO2 release from their main non petrified store in the ocean.
When this CO2 reaches a certain level it starts to allegedly act as a greenhouse gas which provides positive feedback or re-enforces the warming. Once this is established, a big melt takes place which includes release of billions of tonnes or carbon trapped in tundra, the ocean bed etc.
What dear Alexandra wishes us to entertain is that a window of opportunity exists for the NEXT FIVE YEARS or so, where concerted human intervention can arrest these vast planetary processes and save us from climate change. We are expected to believe this , plus the idea that 3/4 of the human populus that are busily industrialising with the help of fossil fuels, can find the resources to get rich with renewable energy.
These ideas are NOT SCIENCE, they are extremely tendentious pseudo-scientific speculations.
Why is she pushing this? The clue in in the first and third words used in the new slogan 'NEW GREEN DEAL'
The original New deal was the ultimate exercise in economic stimulus via a Keynesian Borrowing Binge. The aim is to saddle us with debt.
The powers that be recognise that we can have a debt fuelled windmill boom, that will ensure not only on-going fossil fuel consumption, but also a tax & debt fuelled subsidy binge, and a huge interest income from the hoi polloi.
This represents a new strategy - or war. The war against climate change.
What happened to the trusty old model of the war against humans?(to create debt)
Well, that one continues, however it may be becoming a trifle obsolete.
The problem is that without anybody seeming to notice, we have transitioned from wars of production, to wars of assets. The confrontation is likely to be so short, bloody, and deadly, that what is coming out of the factories (that needs to be funded by debt) will be late for the main event.
The war will be fought with what you have this afternoon. It could, once the planes have run out, turn nuclear, and then your debts may not perform.
So really , AOC's 'war' represents a great step forward for us....

There was a poster made for it, a gal standing in front of (I think) a muscle car, arms up, running her hands through her hair. Mike, have you caught that raccoon yet? We once had to find an expert, long time ago in Barbados, to trap a rogue monkey that was terrorizing us, and even attacked my five year old son and his little friends. There were many failed attempts, but what worked in the end was ingenious.
A huge plate of the most delicious looking fruit salad, topped by a hibiscus flower, on a platform that sat on a spring, and the framed and well hidden net that finally trapped the monkey fell down from above. I wish I had a picture.
The guy was running a monkey zoo, but people thought he was making too much money for a small zoo keeper, and that he was selling his monkeys to a lab in Canada, where they used them to experiment on. They said he was getting $5000 per monkey. I doubt you would get $5 for your raccoon though.

I began to see vast abuse of entitlement programs offered and it was really eye opening. I came to understand who it was that was footing the bill, at least in the US. I came to appreciate self reliance and saw that chronic victimhood can be very destructive. I still hold to what I guess could be sort of classic, core liberal values in many respects, I guess I now differ from many in the way I think we can get to equality and abundance for all.

Here is an undoctored view of Rocinha, Brazil, which is a slum suburb of Rio.
Obviously populated by people who were once forest dwellers.
I was always amazed how here in Costa Rica, the town of Cartago, which was once the capital of the country, has so few trees. Why did they cut them down like that, and still do? The answer is this: the early settlers came from Spain, and discovered to their horror that the tropical rain forest was an insecure place for them, full of large and small critters, from all types of ants, to huge spiders, snakes, and even leopards that ate their dogs and chickens. All this was posing a major security threat. Their houses are like caves, dark, few windows. Only the recent influx of foreigners has built homes that provide a scenic view.

If one wished to connect to beings behind the veil, today is the day.
The solstices and equinoxes form the four corners of the earth in relation to the
firmament above.
It is when the veil thins, apart from dividing the year into the four seasons.
A window of just a few hours. The window is now closing as it happened about 3.5
hours ago Central time.

The mother-in-law of a friend died yesterday, right here in our mountain village of Orosi, within minutes of getting vaccinated at a local government health station. She was in her seventies, and had gone for a general check-up. Otherwise healthy. Two other people had died already, in a nearby town. My husband is going to rally other doctors, knowing that government health officials will dig in their heels and make excuses. No idea where this will end. Actually, this is getting scary.

1. Boron helps detoxify Mercury from the body
2. The only mammal with three main arteries running from the heart is the human, the others have two , reptiles have three
3. Mercury has a strong chemical affinity with aluminium, Mercury catalyses aluminium in an acid environment. This destroys synapses.
4. The human race is being deliberately poisoned
5. Ormus= manna, philosophers stone, related to ouroboros, the cycle of life.
6. Alchemy is creation of monatomic gold
7. Mercury is banned from(aluminium) planes
8. Dark side loves ormus
9. Aryan/vedic knowledge - alchemical book called 'rasa shastra' states that being poisoned with Mercury in early life is a blessing. The victims described as born twice if they survived. This produced people with a more developed over consciousness,
10. Mercury- Chinese year of the horse
11. Ascorbic acid combined with bicarbonate detoxes aluminium
12. The word alkali comes from Arabic - from khali. Khali being ashes/destruction
13. Ormus might help with vaccine injury
14. Coriander and nettle good for mercury poisoning
15. Fenugreek also. Regulates body temp too

but the disinfo campaign we saw so much of was to destroy a realistic plan which would have worked to get rid of the bank-gangsters. Amazing.

The two girls walking down the street are 'trying' to make a statement of "I'm a rebel". Trying too hard to fit in...
Way way back in the 70's in high school we all wore Levi jeans with holes and patches. We weren't in fashion back then but rather from the poor side of town.

Talk about 'trying to fit in.
On the subway yesterday, two young girls got on the subway, around fifteen? They were very loud, banging on the seats and windows, keeping beat to their rap music blaring from a speaker. It was an extremely rude rap about sex. They were dressed like pirates is the only way to describe it - bandanas, torn cloths, black lip stick. They serenaded the train for a few stops before getting off, by which time everyone was very glad to see them go.
On the way out they made fun of a Muslim family. Calling them slang terms I have not heard before and can't remember anyway.
Across from me sat a very nice young black couple. Subways are funny places where a lot of silent posturing happens. These two had checked me out and the guy stared me down with his tough guy stare - I only smiled and turned away. I recount that because we had both decided we were okay - hard to describe better, it all happens without words.
When the rapper wannabees left the black guy said loud enough for me to hear, 'white trash', with a straight face while looking at me. I agreed with a nod and a grin. 'White trash' I intoned. And we all had a laugh...

Don’t know where to put this........Cannot sleep thinking about one of the news of today, about the man from El Salvador that drowned crossing the Rio Grande with his almost 2 year old daughter inside his shirt. ( don’t want to put the photo here ) Was thinking of Doug’s thread about borders and that this would not have happened if there were no borders. Just saying. And I do believe in them. But still , these tragedies break my heart. This is my here and now.

We didnt feel the aftershocks, fortunately, although other areas did. We are close to a river, and the river rocks here work like shock absorbers. So when we feel anything at all, I know it has to be a big one.
Even 1 km north or south of us people feel it much worse than we do.
Thanks for your concern.

Ulli, I hope your surrounding was ok after the earthquake. Seems like you live in a very nice place with a river nearby, you must be well-protected by it.
M6.6 is quite big, I know from having experienced the Fukushima earthquake when I lived in Tokyo at that time. It looked like the concrete ground was moving in waves, I couldn't stay standing. There were many aftershocks, I remember not being able to sleep so well because they would keep me awake.
Please stay safe everyone. May all be well.

This one felt like waves, like I was in a boat. I prefer those to the ones that give you a sudden jolt, and make a loud noise. It lasted a while but was quite gentle. There was not that much damage and to my knowledge no lives were lost although it was high on the Richter scale.

So my condominium building is up on a hill overlooking a city of 77,000 people here in Northern NJ. It is the ideal place to broadcast from and so we have all sorts of telecomm broadcasting equipment up there both for telecommunications (cell phones) and the cities police and fire department equipment. The plus about this is that this save each condo unit owner about $85 per month in fees because of the rent we collect.
http://projectavalon.net/forum4/attachment.php?attachmentid=37494&d=1522870046
Last week a crane was parked in front of the building installing a new tower to the top of our roof. Today, there were a few men doing some installation work. All day my telephone reception was terrible. I think our tower was turned off and so I was connecting to a tower far away. Suddenly at 2:54 I "heard" a high pitched sound. I even felt it in my sternum. I made a phone call and the reception was suddenly great. Just wondering if this is 5G?
I am also thinking I have a heightened awareness of this right now because I am in the middle of a dry fast (no food except juice vegetables in 4 days, no liquid in the last 20 hours.)
Have to make some inquiries about what's going on.

Ah oui, Bien Sur, lest we forget about the French concert performer, Joseph Pujol, Le Petomane, who could inhale air and water into his nether region, blow out a candle at several yards distance, recreate "La Marseillaise" and "O Sole Mio" and with the great control of his sphincter also imitate thunderstorms and cannon fire.
Though I am not a fan of potty humor, with the uniqueness of his particular gift and reports of his ability to stay in tune, you know where I'll be going with a recording device when I get access to that time machine. That man was a real yogi!

Thanks for the warm welcome, genevieve and all the other kind souls here. I can’t believe this thread is still meandering along. Sometimes I wonder what to do with it, as I seem to have shifted personally since starting it.
I’m definitely more in the Here and Now than I used to be, having immersed myself more in this rural Costa Rican mountain community where I live now. Far cry from my German farm roots, my London hippy, punk and yuppy days, my Barbados rich white bitch and later Bahai pioneer years when I immersed myself in the black community there, driven by a spiritual call.
At one point I even visited the most desolate places in the slums of Manaus, Brazil, deep in the Amazon forest, where there is poverty beyond imagination.
Is this here and now where our bodies dwell, or is it the home of our souls?
Being multi-dimensional there are constant shifts between worlds and no two souls ever seem to be at the exact same level. So that is the root cause of why we are often so conflicted.
The true reality is so far beyond one’s imagination that glimpses of it are rare.
But when they happen one needs to roll up one’s sleeves and do whatever possible to be creative and bring that vision down into the muckiest, crime ridden zones of the planet, so that this higher knowledge can reach the most hopeless and downtrodden. This is the meaning of the Aquarian age, the symbol being the water bearer pouring his water jar. Water is symbolic of knowledge.
I would like to see this thread being revived with that spirit, of cohesive interconnectedness, even if it means sharing our fears.
Of course it would be great to hear from villagers sharing their joys as well, be they spiritual or material.
Howdy, Everybody!

Next January should be interesting when Saturn and Pluto are conjunct on the same spot. But perhaps those energies will cancel each other out. Plus Jupiter in Cap, trining the Virgo stellum. Expect miracles.

At least they asked the question about health risks @1:40 in the 2:42min clip in the above link. The answer was that the 5G we are getting now is still linked to the 4G towers, so no problem, but in 2021 we are scheduled for rollout of the mini (millimetre wave) towers and the dude actually said he wants to see more studies but is “hopeful” everything will be okay.

Calzie, you are not only taking me back to the old forum days, but much further back to my memories of Bryan Ferry who became a close friend of ours in Barbados in 1988. I was a spiritual liberal then, and now I am a spiritual whatever-works-best-for-the-good-of-all person. Bryan is a multiple Libra, like yourself, with Scorpio Ascendant. His videos reflect that energy. Born in 1945, and no longer a spring chicken, but still touring, like many of those seventies rockers.

Once one goes down that path..it gets easier..and easier...and then..it can be difficult to stop. Neural growth and memory patterning, and all that. But it can be quite rewarding.
I still can't play with it right now....to close to a population center. As..once it is mastered..then... one can pull a large volumetric area into it. Depends on the person and the energy levels, I guess. I detailed what happened the last time I played with it (approx 2010) and the price of ignorance is way too high.

Henry the tree frog has changed his day sleeping location from under my books and hat, to under the pillow on the other wrought iron chair on my front porch. It is where I sit every day. He has been sleeping there all day, toward the back of the chair. I have to be careful whenever I sit down to make sure he isn't disturbed.
His girlfriend sleeps under the statue of an angel, an iron water marker, two stones and an old brick from my family's sugar mill plantation.
Sugar plantation reminds me of Barbados, and also tree frogs, although we didn’t give them names there.
Anyway, both are very West Indian images.

A while ago I discovered in the corner of my yard, behind my shed, I have a bit of bamboo growing. Today I was going to hack some of it down to use to hold up some of my plants because they are getting really tall and keeling over. When I went over to the bamboo I discovered that they're huge, over 20'. Way more than I'd need, and on top of that I imagine I'd end up damaging my fence or shed in the process of hacking it down so I decided to leave it be.
Maybe not overly impressive, but being a 'plant person' I thought it was a fun discovery.

Watch out! If you hack a few down, rhizomes will spread through the yard and dozens will take their place!
I love Bamboo. However, don’t be ‘bamboozled’ by garden centre platitudes, once it’s in, it seems to sink roots to the opposite side of the globe (same as Acanthus - ‘Bear’s Breeches’), it takes over, spreads and a once lovely screening cane plant becomes an adversary! Beware, contain it.

Congratulations to all US citizens for getting rid of British rule, although in recent years I have come to doubt if such a thing ever really happened successfully.
When I was still living in Germany, before I left for London in 1967, there was a freedom celebration on June 17th, and they called it the Day of German Freedom. It was a celebration of an uprising in East Germany against Communist rule, as East Germany was then still a part of the Soviet block, but that it was unfortunately squashed by Russian tanks, and there were fatalities.
And the extremist decision making to introduce hidden agendas is still happening. Maybe they don’t use voter fraud via rigged voting machines, but they do have an incredibly powerful media propaganda machine.
I wish all US patriots well.
A healthy patriotism is ok, and even necessary to function well as part of a greater whole; just don’t allow it to slip into unbridled nationalism.

Just reading the moderator thread, and why some folks get unsubscribed. It reminded me that on one forum I wanted to change my handle to:
'The Asshat Conjecture'.
Like the title of some low budget euro b-movie, in the mid 70's....and simultaneously be statement of the observation of my behaviour or what some people think about my posts. (on the given forum)
I run into this all the time. (on other forums)
My posts are fine and full of data, full of source data. Except people don't understand the source point nor the entire space the post occupies..and thus...it's all gobbledygook to them.

I find a lot of people react to posts according to the dictates of their self image..the one they created over time. Even mature adults still behave like teenagers due to this fixation.
Being nasty online seems to relieve their pain. The more insecure they are the more they lash out at total strangers, whether by expressing road rage in their car, or online ad hominems. And once such a self image or false persona has been created they can’t return to their authentic self without a major shock. Which is then followed (or not) by an awakening. One hopes, anyway.

well, today was , for me, the day that I go to stay at my father's place. Every other week I travel there to assist with his care, shop, cook etc. He is suffering from dementia, and I get to experience that 'long goodbye', bereavement spread over years.
As the person I knew and love fades away, I sit in awe of a man , nobly fighting to hold on to his humanity, as his mental abilities fade. Lingering, I see a truly gentle and kind person, struggling as it all fades away.
however today's drama concerns tooth brushes.
because today I winessed his visiting carer directing my father to his downstairs toilet to brush his teeth. Oh no, that is where I keep my tooth brush safely secreted, or so I had thought.

I had an early lunch at a hole in the wall Cuban restaurant today and my god was it so good. I will definitely go back next week. This is one of the advantages of living in a culturally diverse place: you get legit food. Typically when you get a cuban sub from an american restaurant it will be ham, cheese and pickle. The one I just got had marinated pork, ham, cheese, some kind of spread and a pickle. It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. That woman sure can cook. Next week I will try the chicken quesadilla, an all time favorite of mine. I may also get something a bit more off the wall to expand my pallet.
If I wasn't so lazy I'd post about that place and it's location in the diversity thread. It truly is a gem. Folks like that who live a simple life but put their heart into what they do is very refreshing. And in that particular case, tasty.

Strat , you made me hungry ! Those “ hole in the wall “ places are usually the more delicious. The essencial ingredient to a cuban sandwich is the roasted pork, traditionally marinated in mojo sauce redolent with orange juice , lime juice , garlic, oregano ,and cumin before roasting. Hmmm so good. And a cortadito coffee to end it
strat i just got home from the "hibachi express", which is a little gem here in central florida.
take out hibachi...it's like a dream come true. and reasonably priced! i got the shrimp and steak with fried rice. i've been pretty good lately so i allowed myself this treat.
p.s. i love chicken quesadillas too

You'd love this place, if you ever find yourself in Jacksonville lunch is on me, you just translate. Seems fair. Only the 1 gal there spoke English and her accent was thick.
Speaking of which, I did finally get book from my local library so I can learn some basic Spanish. I would've tried a bit on her but she was quite busy. I'll try when she gets more familiar with my face and has a bit more free time.
Mike where you at? I'm pretty sure you've mentioned it 100 times I just forget. Now that my health is good I've been thinking on taking a road trip to Cape Canaveral, if you're not too far off course I wouldn't mind grabbing lunch with ya and shooting the ****.

It is a deal Strat ! I used to drive from Miami to Savannah, Georgia 2-4 times a year when my kids were in college and would pass Jacksonville , but never stopped. I am due another road trip. Haven’t done it since 2011.

Day before yesterday I ambled into town with my guy, ate a scoop of gelato and then walked another block to the seaside and ate a fudge brownie. This, after no sugar at all for 3 months. Wow. I was flying! It felt soooo good. So glad I no longer live in the woods, far from everything. :star:

My best friend did this, ended up marrying her and having children.
Was funny cause when they were dating there was a very short period where he kept it to himself that he was fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. There was like a week where he would be riding around with her family members and casually listening to what they were saying about him. They knew he worked for a local security company but not that he was a translator!
Oh and damn mike you're just right out side my destination! I'll hit you up for sure. Will be a hot minute but I'll shoot you a PM when the time comes.
